So ages ago I tried making up a roleswap au for pmmm, it didn't go anywhere but I did write this dialogue for madoka in it, who swapped places with kyoko, and it's just been sitting in my notes, I want to share my writing more so I'm posting it here under the readmore

I thought I was saving the world but then one day everyone found out.. when it got out that a professional business women's daughter was a crazy loon who went out talking about how she's got powers the news ate it up, my mom's competitors used me to drag her down and eventually she got fired, all because of me and my stupid magic... Things got really bad and people kept hurting my family over my dumb mistake, they tried to get me and my brother taken away and my mom didn't take it well, she started drinking more and more and my dad had to try and find work to keep us afloat while taking care of my mom, me and my baby brother. So one day I left, they wouldn't have to be ridiculed because of a loony daughter they didn't have, right? That's why you can't depend on anyone as a magical girl, because they'll just get hurt and suffer for it.

So I may just really like doing redraws and created a whole au around that-

Madoka magica and Precure roleswap time!!!! Of course I had to start by swapping the main duos of madohomu and nagihono. Im still figuring out the colors I want to use on the pmmm girls cause they look really gray

But those arent the only cures getting a tragic story-

roleswap: danny and vlad roleswap au. dannys an anti villain with issues who keeps burning his bridges and vlad is an emotional represser with complicated feelings towards maddie and jack. features a bit of electric core au with overdrive

morrigan au: TUE rewrite where dan is just some giant monster bc i like designing them. danny and future valerie r dual protagonists here

rival dani: dani becomes a reoccurring rival for danny bc cain instinct and the whole clone thing. semi rewrite of kindred spirits. danny is like sonic and dani’s like metal sonic/surge the tenrec that kind of dynamic

Sana/Serena (Pokéani XY) — has so much potential, so easy to build on in canon, and yet I can’t bring myself to try and fix the trainwreck that is the rest of the canon… Eureka/Serena is easy because I adore Eureka and she’s just plain funny, but I’d need to work on Sana. … Also, Tripokalon…

KyouSaya (PMMM) — Rebellion AU but real ORZ ORZ ORZ just. mundane, happy domestic AU. They’d also make a great Wyvern rider and swordmaster in Fire Emblem AU. And mermaid AU is always fantastic.

Elincia/Lucia (Fire Emblem) — … I mean, knight/princess is already the case but it could go even further, and somehow the idea of a Fingersmith/The Handmaiden situation just popped up even though I haven’t even read/seen it yet and it would probably not work at all considering Lucia’s LOYALTY!! so. idk. but give me them in AUs in which Elincia isn’t a princess but it’s embarrassing how much Lucia is still her knight. (modern heiress/bodyguard AU???)

Hi anon!! And yes, I am so so excited for the Madoka movie!! Can you believe it has been almost 11 years since Rebellion?! I think Madoka has been my third longest favorite fandom besides Mario and Zelda.

As for your question about the swap characters as magical girls/boys... Yeah, I have considered it! I haven't been able to find any designs I really like for Nezuko and Tanjirou costume wise, but any suggestions would be fine by me.
