something different for today! and not a celebi! waow!

a simple blink animation for one of my characters that actually has a STORY, Lynda Eldora! she's a mawile that's attuned to fire, but that's because she's got a whole dang flame plate fused to her.

and now for some old, old pencil drawings since i wanna talk about her...

her arms down to her hands have been upgraded from the black marking of a mawile's to be entirely lava, which she can control the temperature and hardness of (within seconds at that!). with this, she can fashion her hands into weapons that she's since mimicked from foes she's defeated, all the way from an empoleon's fin to a shiftry's leaf fan to a kabutop's scythe. and on her body, with her strength, having two such arms allows for quite the deadly combination, since it allows her to use moves she otherwise wouldn't be able to. on TOP of how diverse her movepool is without them!

what's more, she can fuse her arm with her maw and shape that as well! some bigger combinations necessitate the extra mass, such as a rhyperior's arm, a charizard head, a bastiodon's sturdy castle-wall front...she's full of surprises.

no biography here, for now...she's very story driven. but this is pretty much as close a ref as she's gonna get.

if youre wondering why i havent actually drawn the trainer ocs its bc i just cant get them to look quite right yet i am just Unsatisfied

anyway Charlie has what is essentially a group chat/discord for former team members- and not just Magma and Aqua (who typically get along with eachother very well, much to the surprise of a lot of people) she just kind of encourages it to be shared around to anyone who needs some semblance of a friend group or a community after their team’s been dissolved

he’s made separate channels for the different teams, so they can talk to ppl who relate more specifically with eachother able to talk about their experiences  in a lot of ways, they can relate to eachother but in other ways, not so much

team aqua and magma exgrunts are by far the most....Okay. they almost talk about their respective bosses affectionately. they’re not As traumatized; neither maxie nor archie were even beacons of horrific violence and aggression. neither of them were particularly cruel or unforgiving to their team- archie was outright affectionate with people. the way exgrunts of magma and aqua talk about their former bosses almost gives whiplash to former members of galactic, for example

theyre not doing that great. it was frightening, soul sucking, and regimented. stepping out of line was not tolerated- it might not even be survived. former team plasma? that was a cult. theyre recovering from being a cult. there.....arent many former team rocket grunts in the chat. at all. former team rocket grunts are Deeply paranoid; team rocket is Literally The Mafia. former grunts arent even sure they’re actually *out* of the team for real; giovanni has files on literally all of them, and they’re terrified theyre going to get dragged back into something somehow

former team skull is allowed in the chat if they want but no one, uncluding themselves, really considers team skull to have been an Actual dangerous team. most of them were just kids having a hard time.

How's about some stuff I've ACTUALLY done? Like these two gremlins.

If it wasn't for these guys, I wouldn't be where I am today, emotionally or mentally. They complete me...and their backstory is just as fitting, as Gali quite literally completed them.

Cw / tw gore / creepypasta stuff under the readmore, but also in the text in the image as well.

They originally hail from an AU of the Lost Silver creepypasta/pokepasta, in which it is a trainer's attempted cloning of a shiny Celebi that forces its body to split into two, thrusting one half to the depths of space without time to halt its death and relegating one half to stay alive in a time without space, filling said space with its memories and experiences, leading to it devolving and deteriorating into the deranged mess that is the Lost Silver experience. Without its other half, it cannot die, and its pain warps its memories until they are bleak and without hope.

Until its other half, pulsing with what little life and time travel powers it could muster, sent a plea for help...reaching Gali in a stark and depressing dream. Calling out to her, asking for her to save it. As a Celebi, only she could traverse through time, look between the attoseconds and - barely - reach through to it.

After she pulled that half through, and healing it up, she had a link to the first half. Because it's (their) body(ies) existed in a different universe, it (they) had no 'time' in her universe to heal, forcing Gali to use her own body and her own past to heal it (them)...such is the requirements and the power of her Leech Seed, to heal an entire torn body. At this point, the soul between them had split into two...and both remained well aware that they were one, though one half kept the memories and the other kept the emotions. They became opposites in some degrees, deviated in others; to say they were made into twins wouldn't be far from the truth, but not the whole truth.

Bits and pieces would come through over time as Lost untangled his mangled mess of memories, but the truth eludes him yet. Found, on the other hand, is just happy to be alive, and has gained some rather comical abilities in her, er...non-time as a half. They have Gali to thank for saving them, and so they remain with her until they are strong enough to be off on their own. But it could also be that they literally have Gali's genes in them, so it may just be the want and need to move as a single unit.
