Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Phantom Morphed Lord Zedd

Growing tired of leaving the Ranger-destroying to his lackeys in Rita, Goldar and Scorpina, Zedd becomes fixated on this "Phantom Ranger" aiding his enemies. He observes their ability to summon copies of the Power Rangers weapons and the fact that their armored suit seemed very different to the Rangers'.

When the Phantom's identity is revealed in a battle after their visor breaks and it is Grace Oliver, one of Dr. Finster's former associates. Zedd puts together what the construction of the Phantom Morpher may be. He could use that. Use it to regain a physical form and destroy the Rangers himself.

He instructs Rito to steal the Morpher while Grace and Tommy argue, seems the Green Ranger is angry with her mother for some reason, but Zedd doesn't care for petty human squabbles. After grabbing it, Rito tosses the Morpher, Zedd's spectral hand reaching out and grasping it. His glowing red smile widens in the black shadows that make up his form as he mocks the Rangers' call to action.

"It's Morphin' Time..."

Power Rangers: Zedd⚡️

(Movie 4 of the Power Rangers 2017 movie sequels that never were)

Unboarding his ship at a sedate pace, Lord Zedd reaches the large frozen block of ice. With a single touch of his metal-clawed hand, the ice cracks and breaks with red corrupted energy. Releasing the green clad prisoner that was trapped inside. She falls to her knees, pained and tired, until she notices who released her, eyes going wide.

"My lord, it has been so long!"

"I know. Join me, Rita, join me like you did all those millenias ago. And together, we will finally bring order to the universe!"

For some unknown reason, Rita hesitates for a moment, but the answer is as clear as it ever was. She had already sacrificed too much to stop now.

Having defeated and incapacitated the Rangers, Zedd approaches the Zeo Crystal and, with a touch, releases a wave of red corrupted Grid Energy into it.

"Finally, the power of the Zeo Crystal is mine!"

Rita, still holding down a beaten Yellow Ranger, watches eyes wide as the plant life around them start to die as the energy of the Zeo Crystal is corrupted, simultaneously cutting the Ranger's connection to their suits. Trini, witnessing the destruction screams at Rita.

"Is this what you wanted, Rita!? Death and destruction, is that all you're good for?"

"No... No this is for order. With the Zeo Crystal we can bring life to any system, heal the dying stars of my planet-"

"Order??? I saw Zedd's order on Eltar. Planets in ruin, people enslaved and starving. Is THAT your order?"

"N-no..."

Still reeling from the discovery of Zedd's true depravity, and realizing how far she had fallen from her initial goals... Rita sees a glow in the hands of an unconscious Tomi. Her old Green coin, now reforged white, starts floating and gliding towards her.

"After all this time, after all I've done..."

The coin is now right in front of Rita, floating just a few inches before her. She grabs it, feeling its energy coursing through her once more. Rita's magic in combination with the coin capable of overriding Zedd's corruption of the Grid Energy. A new suit slowly covering her form as she glares and and starts running in Zedd's direction with fierce determination.

"YOU LIED TO ME!"

Rita knew she wouldn't survive this attack... But the least she could do was to fix one of the many mistakes she had done throughout her life. She'll prove the coin hadn't made a mistake choosing her all those years ago. Prove that SHE WAS WORTHY.

"It seems you'll die as you lived, Rita! A traitor and disappointment!"

"Maybe. But at least, I'll die as a Ranger."

And then... Rita's golden blade made contact with Zedd's neck.

Another blood red wave of crackling energy escapes the crystal.

"I still can't Morph! Why isn't the crystal going back to normal?! Zedd is gone, shouldn't that have fixed it?"

Rita draws a ragged breath.

"No. The crystal has been unbalanced by the corrupted Grid Energy. The waves are going to to keep growing stronger and stronger until the Crystal reaches its breaking point, and then... Well, I'm sure you can imagine what happens when the source of all life is destroyed."

Trini's eyes go wide.

"What can we do?"

Rita chuckles as she lay on the ground, eyes unfocused and blood leaking from her wounds. The Ranger suit that had briefly covered her was now slowly retreating.

"The crystal would need to be rebalanced with a wave of pure Grid energy the likes only a fully morphed Ranger can provide."

Trini looks down at the dull yellow coin in her hand.

"My coin still isn't working."

"I suppose I can help with that."

Rita uses the last of the magic that had kept her alive to spell Trini's coin. Allowing it to bypass the corrupted Grid energy and Finally Morph.

"After all, you always were my favorite, little yellow."

The yellow Ranger takes a last look at her old enemy's dying body.

"I'm not going to survive this, am I?"

Rita gives her simple one word answer as she draws her last breath.

"No."

Trini lets a single tear fall before she starts running towards the now visibly unstable and struggling Zeo Crystal.

She could hear the screams and pleading from her friends as they saw what she was doing.

But she keeps running.

Each increasingly powerful wave of dark red energy lashing and pushing against her.

But she keeps running.

The energy burns as it hits and courses through her body, the force of every wave growing stronger and faster as she gets closer to her goal.

But she keeps running.

Trini feels the crystal absorbing her Grid energy, her suit disappearing piece by piece. Then her coin, slowly disintegrating.

"Thank you... For being my friends."

The world goes white.

The Crystal has stabilized, and has reformed stronger than before.

Lord Zedd has been defeated and his legions have been beaten.

The town and the world have been saved.

The heroes don't celebrate. Not today.

An awesome new series of commissions made by the super talented @samurairdk showing what I think could have been the 2017 movie sequels!

Zedd, having tracked the dragonzord as it returned from Eltar, reunites with his long lost ally Rita in order to invade Earth and finally take control of the Zeo crystal so that he may control all life and death in the universe.

I imagined this sequel as slightly different than the rest. Instead of focusing solely on this team of Ranger, it would delve in the history of Rita and her team and what caused her to turn against them. This movie would also mark the end of the Mighty Morphin team and suits.

I know word already reach a number of you about the passing of power ranger legend JASON DAVID FRANK.

I'd like to share a post I made on rangerboard in regards to his passing. Of course I'm paraphrasing a bit to fit more into a tumblr type of tribute.

I was born in early 1995 i was a major tomboy growing up. I'm autistic plus i have both adhd/add and other issues(rare genetic disorder of the trisomy kind and heart issues) so obviously i was going non stop as a kid but i always stood still when a PR episode was on.. heck one can ask my older relatives and they would say i was always memorized by the show...one of my earliest memories were of watching the power rangers in spaces psycho saga on tv.

This.....it hurts like crazy. I remember growing up catching reruns of mmpr zeo and turbo on tv and everything.

I'm the type to deep dive into the lore and browse tv tropes and the ranger wiki for fun. Plus interacting with the tumblr power rangers Fandom(aka yall who are reading this on this gremlin filled site).

Every season from Turbo to Mystic Force were definitely a big part of my childhood and of course some of my favorite seasons growing up.

Heck i loved every season and made absolutely sure from lightspeed on to watched each new episode when it premiered dispite my then busy kid life(so many doctor appointments and youth athletic life) and my now busy adult life.

Tommykat was always my preferred tommy ship and I was ecstatic when I first heard it was truly both characters endgame ship(lol I loved that Xmas special or whatever it was and it sold young me on the ship plus you can imagine how giddy i was when j.j. oliver became a thing)

Jdf death hurts almost as much as puas death did(I remember just being numb and crying in my bed when I heard about him)

Yes they both had their issues but the fangirl in me can't help but love their characters and admire the actors despite everything.

All the actors and actresses from the 90s and early 00s seasons I've followed religiously as much as I could on social media as well as being fans of any non PR roles.

Power rangers was such a big part of my life.

I can't even imagine the 2010s-2020s PR actors/actresses reactions to the news let alone the ones from earlier seasons who actually worked with JDF.

My heart goes out to jdf kids and the rest of his family obviously. God this is so unbelievable

Now to Binge watch MMPR on Netflix and then to binge watch all the seasons after that avaliable on YouTube through the official channel.

12 and 15 for Rocky pls!!

So I gotta admit I am a bit out of my depth since I have never actually watched Zeo before 😅 but I still have opinions!

12. Rocky was a ranger for a pretty long time and I feel the Power definitely has an effect on you if you carry it for that long. When he’s teaching at his martial arts school he definitely has to pull his punches quite a lot. Becoming a firefighter meant he didn’t have to hold himself back which he enjoyed after restraining himself for so long

15. I definitely ship him with Adam! They’ve been close friends for so long and with Aisha leaving I imagine the two would have a time where they felt a lot closer since it was just the two of them.

So just thinking about how if you take the Boom continuity backstories, and combine them with what happens in the original Mighty Morphin Power Rangers show, the messed up drama between Zordon, Rita, and Zedd is a sight to behold.

Cos first of, Zedd was originally Zophram and was Zordon’s superior and originally on the side of ‘good’. Then after an ill-fated attempt to touch the Zeo crystal, gets flayed alive by its defences, goes mad and goes evil. Zordon never knew this for over 10,000 years while Zedd assumed Zordon was to blame and deliberately never told him who he was while they were fighting cos all that time or why he hated Zordon so much cos drama.

Somewhere after this time, while Zordon was fighting both Lord Zedd and Master Vile, he was present for Rita’s birth. Then cos Zordon failed to actually stop Master Vile from getting to Rita, she still got captured and raised evil anyway.

But then somewhere in whatever thousandth year of her life, Rita tries to kill Lord Zedd in the name of her father, but Zedd wins and offers her the chance to work with him instead of her dad, which she takes up on real quick. So now you have Rita working for Zedd and both of them having no idea Zordon was involved in either of their lives at some point.

And then Rita gets captured by Zordon near earth but she manages to cast the spell to rip him into the timewarp but she’s still sealed in the dumpster.

10,000 year timeskip

Here Boom comics are on their own trajectory, but going by the OG show, Rita gets out of the dumpster, terrorises Power Rangers but fails. Zedd realizes she hasn’t accomplished anything after 10,000 years and takes over and puts her in the dumpster again. Then season 2-3, she love-potion-roofies Zedd and marries him.

And I remembered her calling Zedd ‘old man’ in that ep and thinking, well it’s not like Rita looked young (before they switched actresses) and you can’t tell with Zedd cos he doesn’t have a face. But now by their Boom backstories - Zedd as Zophram was older than Zordon, and he got flayed and became Zedd before Zordon became a sage. Zordon was there for Rita’s birth when he has become a sage, and at that point was also dealing with Rita’s father Master Vile becoming full evil, which her mom had only really realized when she was already pregnant with Rita. By the time Rita was an adult, Zedd had been an active threat to the universe for possibly thousands of years before she was even conceived.

And this adds even more layers to why Master Vile was supremely pissed at her marrying Zedd in the show - Zedd-as-Zophram used to actively fight against Dark Specter’s forces, who is Master Vile’s patron. Even when he turned evil, Zedd doesn’t want to associate with Dark Specter and does his own thing. So you have that, and now we know, Zedd is either around the same age or older than Master Vile himself. No dad wants an older son-in-law who is also effectively a work rival LOL.

Even Boom-comics Master Vile, who isn’t as loving with Rita as the OG show, basically has the tone of “oh you come crawling back home after it didn’t work out with your boyfriend for the past thousands of years” when Rita returned to him.

And can you imagine at the point where Rita and Zedd married, Zordon basically has to consider how the little girl he was suppose to protect way back when is now shacking up with his old friend/boss, and both are evil and want him to die.

So the Z-wave sparing them, was it cos their love was that genuine that it absolves them of being fully ‘evil’ despite like, we’re talking thousands of murders; or most likely cos both of them knew Zordon and he was like “look the whole things screwy anyway but if I mindwipe you both into being pure good now, it’s somehow not as bad” and bam, they’re spared and turned human at the end of In Space

TLDR: Zordon somehow through a series of coincidences, bad luck, and some failure, got his old boss/friend hooked up with his ward.

POWER RANGERS REWRITE: Zeo

Omega Interlude

This is when the Death Ranger stuff goes down, only with the Aquitar Rangers instead of the MMPR Rangers.

Jason is disconnected from the Morphin Grid, Trini becomes Omega Red, Kevor becomes Omega Yellow, all that stuff.

Though I imagine Zack and Trini are also going to retire soon and go to college.

Zeo

Meanwhile, Zedd, Rita and Rito are a little worse for wear after the Ranger's attck, but still alive and ready to formulate their revenge…

But then the Machine Empire arrives, taking advantage of Zedd’s weakened state to seize the Zeo Crystals, forcing them into exile across the moon.

As for the Machine Empire themselves, they have a bit of RPM and Beetleborg aesthetic.

Zordon sees this and calls on Tommy, Adam, Rocky, Tanya and Kat, giving them the Zeo Morphers.

To tie everything together, the Zeo Morphers are Triforia’s rangers but the initial Zords might be sourced from an entirely different team of rangers.

As for the Triforians themselves, they have three eyes (Think the Puram from Boom! Comics)

The Gold Ranger powers aren’t meant to be wielded by one person, which Trey circumvents via his curse.

When he leaves, the Gold Ranger powers are split between a rotating cast of returning rangers, including Jason, as the powers allow him to circumvent his interrupted connection.

Tommy and Kimberly do break up, but face to face this time. In the aftermath, Tommy decides to leave and pursue his own life.

In turn, Billy, returned from Aquitar with Cestro, dons the mantle of Ranger once more.

During all of this, Kay has been plagued by nightmares and visions, courtesy of Rita, taking advantage of the vestigial connection from the mind control plot.

The OG Zeo Zords/Super Zeo Zords are shepherded to Earth by Trey, who takes the powers back to Triforia once the threat is over

Speaking of threat, the Royal Family basically tears itself apart when Louie Kaboom, a Machine Empire mage hunting Rita & Zedd, is convinced to take power and assassinates Mondo, leading to Gasket’s arrival.

Rita capitalizes on her connection to Kat by creating Cog Changer for Louie to present to Mondo, destroying the Zeo Megazord and jet cycles.

Mondo, now overconfident, attacks them personally, only for Trey to arrive with Pyramidas and squash him flat.

Cue Impursonator to keep the rangers occupied and try and kill Kat. Thankfully that part fails.

Rita and Zedd eventually take advantage of this chaos, storming the castle while the Zeo Rangers are engaged in their final battle with Gasket, and massacre most of the inhabitants, but Sprocket escapes with Venjix’s help to enact a Shakespearean revenge.

The Zeo & Omega Rangers once again race to the moon…only to find the castle abandoned, Zedd and Rita having left for parts unknown.

Still, with the primary threat defeated, the Rangers disband, going their separate ways.

Rise of the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers - Dr. Finster & Lord Zedd (Incomplete)

When the Rangers freed Tommy from Rita's control, the shadow desperately seized the body of Dr. Finster, whose biology knowledge she'd been using to create monsters since manipulating him into releasing her.

With him, she casts a ritual to restore her master, Lord Zedd, from the remaining seventh shard of the original Zeo Crystal the Power Coins were forged from.

She is able to restore him, but at the cost of herself, as the incomplete Dark Specter forcefully absorbs her back into himself directly from Dr. Finster's body. Leaving the man exhausted, weakened.

Incomplete as he may be, Zedd's cunning and tactical mind from the war 10,000 years ago remains intact, and he enlists Dr. Finster to fetch him Goldar and his followers. They have work to be done.

I'm particularly fond of the Zeo powers in Power Rangers. The Zeo Crystal, when combined with the Super Zeo Gems, I think are the powers that could work in other universes the most. And that's super fun fuel for my imagination.

Adam wished he’d noticed it sooner.

He should’ve known the first day she turned down going to Earnies. She would never turn down a chance to get her favorite mini tacos on a normal day, especially after a day she had gym class. 

He just wished he would’ve noticed her pushing them away sooner. 

The first time he got the hint something was wrong was the Monday morning back from spring break. She showed up to school tired and almost fell asleep during first block pre-calculus. (Y/n) might not enjoy that class that much but she never got caught sleeping in class, ever. 

He watched her pull an energy drink out of her bag and drink almost half of it in a few gulps.

“Woah,” Adam said, pulling the drink away, “Slow down there. You don’t want to drink it all in one go.”

“Adam, I am so tired I will fight you for that drink.”

He rolled his eyes, “If you’re that tired you wouldn’t last more than a few seconds. Why are you drinking this? You hate energy drinks.”

“I just… didn’t get that much sleep last night,” (Y/n) sighed.

Adam placed the can back on the desk, “I’m sorry, why couldn’t you sleep?”

“Just couldn’t,” she said, the end of class bell rang and (Y/n) quickly gathered her things, “See ya in gym!”

He really started to worry when she didn’t show up for their first class the next day. He was so used to seeing her bright smile when he would sit down next to her that today felt like the world was a little duller. Class seemed to roll by slowly as he stared at the clock and the door waiting for her to come in, but she never did.

Lunch time came and there was still no sign of her. As he sat down next to Rocky and Tommy they noticed his mood had shifted a lot since they saw him yesterday.

“You okay Adam?” Tommy said.

“Have either of you seen (Y/n)?”

“No, we haven’t seen your girlfriend,” Rocky said, causing Adam’s eyes to go wide.

“She- she’s not my girlfriend guys,” he said shyly.

“You guys sure act like it.”

Adam slapped Rocky’s fork out of his hand with his own, “We’re not dating. I just haven’t seen her all morning and I’m starting to worry.”

“Yeah cause you have a big fat crush on her,” Rocky grinned.

“Stop it Rocky,” Tommy sighed.

“Fine,” Rocky huffed and picked his fork back up from the tray.

“Anyways, we haven’t seen (Y/n) since gym class yesterday,” Tommy said.

“I might stop by her house after school to check on her, it’s not like her to miss class and not tell me.”

“Yeah cause she has a big fat crush on you,” Rocky muttered.

“Rocky!”

“What?! It’s true!”

Adam sighed, “She doesn’t have a crush on me.”

Rocky rolled his eyes, “Well then why is she walking over here first instead of to Kat and Tanya?”

Adam turned around quickly and spotted the girl walking towards the group of boys, he smiled widely as she sat down beside him.

“What’s with the energy drink (Y/n)?” Rocky asked.

“What? Oh- I… stayed up late to finish a project.”

Adam looked at her confused, “We don’t have any projects in our classes, is it for your English class?”

“Uh, yeah,” she said with a fake smile.

“Oh, okay,” Adam said. He knew she was lying, but he was hurt that she felt like she had to. 

By the weekend (Y/n) seemed to be back to normal. She was on time for classes again and went to hang out at Earnies. Yet there was still something… weird going on. 

Even though she was her usual cheery sunshine self, Adam noticed when the others were talking amongst themselves she would look off with an almost blank look on her face. When she would talk her sentences would trail off or not make sense completely. The others pretended they didn’t notice but it was starting to become clear that something was wrong with their friend.

Adam decided he needed to know what was going on.

He got to school early enough so that he could catch (Y/n) at her locker. As he walked through the halls he thought of a million different answers he might get from his friend, or crush really. He’d always been infatuated with her since she sat next to him in Chemistry last year, the ball of sunshine in the class. 

As he rounded the corner he saw (Y/n) quickly shove a white bottle into her locker before shutting it and shouldering her bag.

“What was that?” he said, she jumped slightly and spun around.

“Adam!” she said, “Geeze you scared me. What’s up?”

“What’d you put in your locker?” he said.

“Oh just my binder.”

“It looked like a bottle-”

“Adam we really need to get to class,” (Y/n) said.

“Why are you lying to me?”

She sighed, “I’m not.”

“What was in the bottle?” he said, the firmness in his tone made her look down to the floor.

“I- um,” she tried to speak but the tears that formed in her eyes stopped her.

“(Y/n),” Adam said gently, placing his hand on her shoulder, “you can tell me anything.”

She turned the lock on her locker and opened it, and sitting on the top shelf was a pristine looking white bottle full of caffeine pills.

“(Y/n)-”

Tears were falling down her face and he pulled her into a hug.

“I’m sorry,” she sobbed.

“There’s nothing for you to be sorry about,” he said, rubbing circles into her back. 

“I just- there’s these dreams, well, nightmares I keep having. I wake up panicking but I’ll sit and think and think about it but I just can’t remember it. How am I supposed to stop them when I can’t remember them?”

“I’m sure all that caffeine isn’t helping. Those aren’t good for you (Y/n).”

“I know I know, but it’s better than falling asleep in class.”

“I know, but nothing can replace sleep,” Adam said. He pulled away to gently brush some of her hair back, “I think I have an idea.”

 Adam ended up dragging her out of school and to his car, from there they drove to the mall in town.

“Where are we going?”

“You’ll see,” Adam said.

The mall wasn’t that busy considering it was an early morning on a weekday. Adam lead her by the hand through the mall to the back where the toy store stood. (Y/n)’s eyes went wide with excitement before looking at him with a puzzled look.

“We’re gonna get you a dream buddy.”

“A what?”

“A dream buddy, to bring you some sweet dreams.”

(Y/n) giggled and pulled him into the store. Lining the walls were various toys and figures but towards the back were giant bins of different kinds of stuffed animals of different shapes and sizes.

“What about this one?” Adam said, holding up an elephant half as big as him.

“I think that’s a little big, don’t you think?” she giggled.

“Hmmm.... maybe.”

He dug through the bins a little more, “This one?” 

It was a frog made out of a shiny fabric material.

“Um… I don’t really like the frog.”

Adam sighed, “No one ever does.”

(Y/n) dug through the other bin for a while, carefully looking over each animal. Finally she reached the bottom and gasped out.

“This one!” 

She pulled out the stuffed figure to show it to him. It was a stuffed rabbit with light brown fur and big floppy ears.

“What do you think?” she asked.

Adam smiled, “I think it looks like a great dream buddy.”

The next day when Adam walked into class, (Y/n) smiled at him.

It wasn’t fake, or tired looking. It was the same smile that made his heart flutter since the first time they met.

Class went by as usual until the bell for lunch finally rang, (Y/n) grabbed Adam’s hand and led him in the opposite direction from the cafeteria.

“Where are we going?” he said.

(Y/n) didn’t answer until she opened her locker. She pulled out the same rabbit they bought yesterday. Today it had a red heart with the letter “A” sewn onto the paw.

“I named her Sunny,” she smiled. 

“I guess it helped last night?” he asked.

“Amazingly. Thank you so much Adam,” she said, pulling him into a hug.

He smiled, “I’m just glad I got my sunshine girl back.”

She pulled back but kept her arms locked around his neck. Her smile gave him butterflies, but when she leaned in to press a kiss to his cheek his heart almost stopped. She giggled at his wide eyes, “I can’t be a sunshine girl without my sky guy.”

“Sky guy?”

“Yup.”

He chuckled.

“Because there’s nowhere else I'd rather be.”

It was his chance to lean in, but this time it was a sweet kiss on her lips.

You walked along the beach while Tommy spoke to Jason. From what Katherine had told you, Jason wasn’t thrilled with no longer being a Power Ranger. You knew it was a large part of his life for years, having been there since before day one of his life as a Power Ranger, and it wouldn’t be easy for him to accept that it was over. He was just an ordinary guy.

You looked up when Jason approached you, smiling softly when he lifted his arm. You stepped back into his arm that went around your shoulders, bringing you into his chest.

You looked over his shoulder, waving goodbye to Tommy. You smiled as you took Jason’s hand that hanged from your shoulder, resting your head against his neck. He kissed your head as you walked along the beach, and you waited a few minutes before lifting your head.

“Are you okay?” You asked.

“As long as I got my girl…I’ll be better than okay.” He said.

You kissed his cheek and placed your arm around his waist. It would be a while before he fully adjusted to having a normal life. You were sad it ended this way for him but also relieved knowing he wasn’t putting himself in danger.

You pushed him into the water and giggled when he resurfaced. You took off sprinting down the sand and heard him shouting as he chased you.

Jason wrapped his arms around you and carried you into the water. He fell back, and you both went under, and you jumped up, hitting his chest softly while he laughed.

Jason went to pull you back when you ran out the water. He chuckled as he chased you. You squealed when you looked back and Jason tackled you into the water.

He knew his life as a Ranger was over, but a whole new life was waiting to be lived. And times like this reminded him that he wouldn’t be going through it alone.

Summary: Angel Grove gets a new girl and Tommy meets her at the Youth Center. Warnings: None Requested by: No one

You walk through the doors of the Youth Center with your (F/C) bag slung over your shoulder. It was your first day in Angel Grove and your parents seem to think the best place to meet new friends was at this building where other people your age would mingle.

You didn’t bother to argue with them because it just seemed pointless to argue with them. So, here you are. 

Many kids were spread out but some did seem to stay in groups. Some were chatting away in the bar area while others were doing activities. Only one in particular caught your eye.

Two guys your age were sparing. One was in green and had short hair while the other was in red with hair down to his shoulder blades...and you had to admit, he was kinda cute.

You shook your head and sat on the steps, deciding to watch how this spar played out. You must have came at the tail end of it because they were done after only a few minutes. They were obviously good friends as they grinned at each other and seemingly joked around. 

You turn your attention to your bag, taking out a sketchbook and opened it to a blank page. You grabbed a panel and began to just doing random little doodles.

You were your own little world, not paying attention to much of anything. You were so tranced that you didn’t hear a pair of footsteps heading your way or that they stopped in front of you.

“Hey, you’re new, aren’t you?” a voice greeted, shaking you out of your trance. You looked up and saw that it was the guy in red standing there. “I’m Tommy Oliver.”

“Oh, uh... yeah. (Y/N) (L/N).”

“It’s nice to meet you. Mind if I...” he motioned to the spot next to you and you responded by nodding. He sat beside you and peered at your doodles. “They’re pretty good.”

“Thanks.” you smiled a little, resulting in him smiling back.

For the remainder of your stay at the center, you and Tommy had some conversations, getting to know each other and the like. 

It felt like you had a new friend but the only downside to this is that you already have a crush on him, partly thanks to his stupidly charming face.
