I have an idea for a fic, where after their time in the army, Alina and Mal get their farm, get married, have children and everyone says Alina "glows" with every pregnancy almost magicaly; but she is still unaware she is a Grisha. Until their last child reveals he/she is an inferni and chaos breaks out. The idea is a more mature Alina, who is aware of what being a grisha could lead to (the good and the bad), and she is more involved with everything at the Little Palace and, for personal reasons has to take a more firm stand for the grisha. And a Mal who is letting his predjuice get the best of him. I love Darklina and I would like this ship being an endgame, but I suppoused time will tell.

Lets discuss this shall we?. FIrst things first - There is ZERO evidence of ANY claims made towards these users, no archives, no screenshots, no links to PROVE the accusations for this post. At this point this is harassment and Libel.

Now, Onto the post at hand - Lets review some of these users you've mentioned.

1. @AdrielFerrer521 Reason: Harassment, Refused to stop making a status update out of me, Manipulator, Being acting like a adolf hitler than evie, Force people to block someone's social media account, Blackmail, Cyberbullying, Using memes without a permission and blocking Princess-Josie-Riki, Yelling, Strong language.

First - Adrielferrer's Archive - Just to help you out. Harassement = These we can agree on. Judging by their posts they are known to create posts that are problematic and refuses to let shit die. We also agree that the post where they said they deleted everything bout you and yet has still been up is considered harassment. So (claps) congrats. We agree on something

"Refused to stop making status update out of me" = Again agreed. They seem to have a hate hard on for you for whatever reason, but the funny thing is you and Adriel has something in common cause you do the same. Also, this would fall under the harassment.

Manipulator = Not sure about this one. They do seem to have that quality when it comes to their posts. Kinda gaslighting and guilt tripping. talking about how users "betray" them cause those users don't agree with their actions. It does seem that way. So again We agree

"Forcing people to block someone's social media account" = It's not really forcing. Granted their posts are DEMANDING but there's no force to it. People have the right to refuse and say no, HOWEVER we have noticed that if you refuse their demand you are apparently a "traitor" to them. (eye roll)

"blackmail" = Where? show proof please cause we don't see anything of that nature. You do know what blackmail is right?

"becaming a dangerous person like adrielferrer has" = We believe you meant "becoming" and also, how is she "dangerous". She hasn't killed anybody, She hasn't commited any felonies. "Cyberbullying" = There's a fine fine line between being blunt - trolling and cyberbullying. She hasn't actually cyberbullied anyone and any of the users she's called out are actually known to be toxic people who are the TRUE cyberbullies and harassers.

"Harassment" = In what way? Seriously. You need to give evidence of your claims. The only time she comments about the users she has issues with if they do it first. Maybe if you all just left her the fuck alone. none of you would be mentioned.

"Abusing her power" = What fucking power? being a senior member only gives you a cute little badge, access to a forum in community and a discord server. She doesn't work for dA and even if she did she'd have a good sense of doing research FIRST before jumping the gun and playing the blame game like some other users do (looks at you)

"Report threated" = You just listed everyone. EVERYONE can be a threat when it comes to reporting. She reports ban evaders, block evaders and coppa violations. If you all don't like to be reported, don't break dA rules. It's really REALLY that simple.

"Gaslighting", "Manipulator", "Lying" = It's funny that you mention this cause you are also guilty of this but we would love to see your proof of these things

"Blackmailing", "Fake Allegations" = Please show proof of this. You're getting your information for those who have "beef" with her, they aren't really a "reliable source" and again, you've done the same things. Still have screenshots of the emails you sent to Ilia, Evie has hers. Should we include those?

"disturbing pictures" = Are you talking about her NSFW? if so, she's an adult. If you don't want to see nsfw turn your mature filter on. She has every RIGHT to draw what she wants. Just like you have every right to "Draw" whatever you want.

"Harassing girls users from deviantart while they make girls crying" = Proof please.

"Threated someone to ban me" = It's threatened* not threated. Also, she didn't threaten to you ban you or threatened someone to ban you. She has told you repeatedly to leave her alone or she will report you for harassment.

"Fake screenshotting" = Proof please, what screenshots is she faking? We were forwarded the emails you sent her and we have to say Richard. Wow. That is a lot of blackmailing, gaslighting and manipulation. Also, she primarily used archive when she called out. How can you "fake screenshot" when archive.today saves the site as it appears? Hmm?

"Report threated" = Not a thing. Like Evie, Ilia reports coppa violations (users under the age of 13. It's illegal and the law for users who are under the age of 13 to be on deviantart. In fact most websites have that very same rule), Block evaders and ban evaders. So. How is it a "threat" when it's users who break dA rules?

"Harassment" = Proof please. We haven't seen any proof of your claims for harassment. In fact Ilia is probably the only one who tries to be logical with users who are breaking the rules by showing them the link to the rule and let them know. Granted she was blunt and rude to you and if memory serves us correctly, she's already apologized for that. She hasn't talked about you in MONTHS on any of her platforms and yet here you are continuing your own misery. (aka your drama)

"Racism" = You are claiming she's racist cause she assumed a user who goes by "blackdawg" or whatever the hell that username is = as you? She hasn't ONCE displayed any behaviors of racism. and you would have to show proof of this and her reporting an account she BELIEVED it was YOU because of the defending / block evading that was going on after you and her's spat - Yeah. Anyone would auto think that account was yours. Well, except you and your "friends"

So this really is one of my favourite 1) moments between them in S2 and 2) confirmations of Callum having feelings for her, tbh. Because not only is the shot very spinny and pleasant and almost Pride and Predjuice (2005)-y, but it’s also so... unnecessary? Because Rayla is just pointing out the cavern they’ve been walking towards for a while when she steps in front. He could’ve been looking at it already for a while. But he’s not, because he’s too busy looking at her, and just... gaah my heart, I love them and the way you can already tell they’re immediately closer, and that he’s showing more blatant interest, already in the latter half of this episode

ah, i was offered by friend to reblog it with translation to english and after talking about it with him i was kind of like 'lets put a raincheck on that and come back to it later', so i figure it's worth to give my reasons/thoughts on that here too where like. it is a sentiment that i feel strongly about and one that i would want to see it shared and be more available. including for diaspora jews since i know its not something relevant to only israelis either. but. to be blunt, i don't want the westerners to appropriate it lol

and like granted i dont know if this one specific post would even get enough traction to be appropriated so maybe this is me getting ahead of myself or giving myself too much credit, but i've just over the years seen how any kind of sentiment or any moment or any exposure to the dynamics here are instantly used as a justification for their hatred it's kind of the same way that y'know white americans like to absolutely gleefully jump at the display of any kind of racism or predjuice within communities of color between/directed at each other because of how validating they find it and how it makes them feel better about their white guilt, i've seen posts like this a few times talking about racism in very strong words and usually with the disclaimer or tags to the vein of 'white people, this post is not for you, do not reblog it' which i thought was pretty fair to just have there as a reminder even if it wont technically stop them from doing so

Playing through the Teal Mask DLC once again. I am now preped for the hell that will be the Loyal Three and Kieran bosses.

You know, playing this again and even right away I can spot the shows of Carmine's other side. Yes, she implies she'll retaliate against Kieran for calling her names but from what I know- that's just kind of how siblings are. This kind of stuff just seems normal for siblings: lots of teasing and shit that most would see as a sign of closeness. Which it is but Kieran is obviously an exception to this- that he takes it more seriously than most siblings would.

And if her dialogue is to be believed (and there's no reason she would be lying)- she's doing it to try and push Kieran towards someone he's been interested in, likely because she wants him to make friends. Hell, if you agree to battle Kieran, she goes as far as to call the player character 'kind of nice'. Reminder that Carmine is VERY predjuiced against outsiders in her hometown. She would have every reason from her view to remain condescending and dismissive of you. She even brightens up as Kieran gets excited to fight you for the first time. (Also you can see her leaning over in excitement behind Kieran as you fight).

Mind you, I am saying this in hindsight with the knowledge of where she's going as a character. But with this knowledge, you can see the steps taken to show it.

Ppl complaining about fandom finding convencional attractive mens hot is so stupid and shouldn't count as some kind of relevant criticism.

Specially from poc characters like Miguel O'Hara, Hobbie Brown or Rio Morales.

Like always the people that complains about those characters being "fetishized" Aren't even poc. And at the same time complains about the lack of spaces and diversity in fandoms or more +18 fandom stuff for poc characters.

I believe there must limits on free speech, that don't fall into continuing to perpetuate harmful stereotypes to marginalized communities. But I think it is the duty of the author and consumer to always be informed, therefore question what is and what is not harmful.

Like is it really harmful a fanart of Miguel O'Hara being chained in a suggestive way? Or isn't more predjuiced to think that his Latin roots has an important impact on that trait more than just a random fetishe that fanartists always does?

In other hand, I think it would be more troubling if an author placed too much emphasis on the race/ethnicity in almost any aspect. Or if they also made some fascist allegory.

New Ghoul at School 7/10 pretty much pilot episode for the web series and commercial for the dolls itself ( all the movies are just one long commercial btw) It's as highschool introduction you gonna get. Tho it's wild everyone got mad at Frankie trying have Deuce as her bf when nobody told her he's Cleo's boo( pun not intended)

Fright on 7/10. I NEVER seen this cover before but the "movie" is in 2d form. Also kinda fruity they put Clawdeen and Draculaura on the cover lol. I want say the artists were trying covers out before going full 3d for the next round of movies. Anyway the ghouls tackle racism/prejudice.

Why do Ghouls fall in love 7/10. Official first 3d monster high movie. Cute movie despite the typical highschool cliches. CA Cupid design still a fav ( wild she got transferred to Ever after high but oh well) I realized there's couple of Draculaura centric movies hmm might explained why she became face for reboot. Also Val was suppose be closet gay but you know how Mattel be.

Escape from Skull shores 6/10 I don't remember much from the movie expect it's Frankie centric and it's King Kong type movie. The girls swimsuits were very cute tho. Also realized they literally cut and dye their hair and when back at school they in their default design lol. Anything for the aesthetic. The 2022 reboot better ot disappoint fashion wise.

Ghouls Rule 5/10. Another predjuice plot movie. I do like they brought in humans. I mean with have best boi Jackson for a reason lol. Kinda shame we never saw the other humans in web series. And Hot take the ghoul rules designs are my least favorite out doll line. I like Frankie's and Cleo's outfits but that's about it

Frdiay Night Frights 8.5/10. By far my favorite of the movies. Plot is sexism bad, girl power plot but still cute. And they introduce Best girl Robecca and Operetta. Also roller derby outfits were my favorite of doll line theming

City of Frights 6/10. Don't remember much, it's Clawdeen centric movie. Move best girls introduced Good doll outfits. Like I said the movies just long commercial for the doll line theme

13 wishes 8/10. Howleen centric loved the plot. Great outfits. Even more best girls in the movie lo. Lowkey wish Howleen kept her curly afrohawk hair. I'm not against the idea of her changing her style because she's figuring herself out.

Also we got these baddie designs

Frights camera action 5/10 I just don't remember much of this movie expect we got Honey, Viper, and Elisabat. I think it's Draculaura centric movie

Freaky Fushion 8.5/10 another good movie. Got good lore with Robecca and Frankie’s family ( was it canon they were cousins-ish?) Loved they introduce that monsters do breed with other monsters. Draculaura gonna have some cute werevamp babies lol. I realized that any Frankie centric movie she gets a kinda sorta love interest that’s never brought up again. But Frankie x Jackson/Holt always my Otp so there’s my bias 

Boo York 9/10 Song slaps, best girls bangers. Outfits killer Nuff said

6/10 hate they recon half of everything. They redesign the main girls but others like Toerli and Venus keep their regular designs from OG wave. Clawdeen’s fam got redacted. Only good thing is the girls may look 12 but outfits match that age. Animation was nice. We got milf werewolf mom and Dilf Dracula. The movie implies Dracula just adopts Frankie lol but maybe Frankenstein IP wasn’t for grabs yet

Movies I didn’t see: Great scarier reef and Haunted. Believe those were last movies before reboot. Other movie from reboot series was Electrified

if there's one thing i love it's a good show. as television declines, i find myself attaching onto nearly any show that's bottom line mediocre in it's writing. House of the Dragon, Bridgerton, hell even Law and Order SVU. Be sure we'll get to the others soon, today. I have a gripe against Bridgerton.

Don't get me wrong, I'm in love with it. There's something to say about good worldbuilding, and Bridgerton does it well. You're swallowed whole by the show in the best way. It's a well done show. However, when you adapt from a book to a show, everyone will have something they hate about it.

"it's not book accurate" "The characters aren't right" "It's not even historically accurate"

And truth be told, they're valid arguments. I get it. Especially the character thing, and the historical accuracy. And a secret third option, using the other books that exist in the same universe!

In the books, you make up in your head what they look like, yet all the Bridgerton siblings look the same. "Dark chesnut hair" is the most used description. Although, the show did good in differeing Daphne and Francesca, it breaks up how they appear, instead of a wash of similar actors you get a, oh god I hate to say this word, but diverse group of siblings. However, having Violet be a more reddish brown (she was dirty blonde in the books), would be amazing. I digress and bow to the casting director for choosing Ruth Gemmel, she embodies Violet Bridgerton to a near T.

My main issue with historical accuracy is that hollywood doesn't care. It's nice when they take more care into to purposefully making it seem more historical based. God, Pride and Predjudice 1995?? Stunning, Fabulous, I'm so in love it's seeping out of my pores, it doesn't work for Bridgerton. Bridgerton is truthfully a fantasy, casually set in Regency England. The books take a skinny slice more historical accuracy, not much. to me, perosnally, It's really a fantasy romance; therefore, i can slightly forgive how accurate it is. The costuming is by far the most glorious of it. I really want a behind the scenes in making this solely for the costume designs.

I have read so much of this series. All 8 in the OG Bridgerton set, the prequels, and the first book for the smythe-smith (smith-smythe? smythe-smith? I can't remember). The writers had a real chance of sprinkling in this lore of the Rokseby's and the smythe-smith (they did in queen charlotte, that's a whole other thing), and they didn't. It would be such an amazing easter egg to see it done.

AND ANOTHER THING

Julia Quinn's book series, as books would translate terribly onto film if done, scene for scene, line for line verbatim. the only reason it worked for pride and predjuice, is that it was done to a near complete T historical accuracy. (is it fully accurate, no of course not. but damn if it ain't close.). in the first season, the reason why it is the way it is, about 75% of julia quinn's book is smut. season 1 is formatted pretty close to the books. even the books themselves don't have much of a difference in format.

Exhibit A: in the duke and i, about halfway through the book, they get married and the issue of children comes up, and it's all internal thinking done by the characters. which is why what happens, (it didn't need to) but it gives more insight as to why everything happens and how it's resolved. which is why for season 2 they switch it.

Exhibit B: we as viewers flock to rewatch season 2 over and over before considering season 1. season 2 has a stronger B plot (The featheringtons), more filler scenes, and it uses the shitty 8, hour long episode structure better.

Exhibit C: it morphed from a book to screen from season 1 to a drama in season 2. which makes for a better story structure, that's what film is for. To be a tv show, not a book. yes be accurate, but, the truth is, book to screen content exist as a multiverse. NOT an accurate retelling. thinking of it that way is better for your brain. Yes anyone and everyone could sit and talk for hours, and for me days about the inaccuracies, but at some point you gotta except it's a multiverse, not the same thing. and sometimes, it's better that way. (other times not as much, which is my theory on why season 2 is much more different between book and movie)

We need a term for "stupidly explaining something to someone who knows better" that isn't "mansplaining." Mansplaining is a very specific sort of act (from cis, typically straight) guys who have an abundance of hubris and a gloated sense of self importance.

Sometimes someone going, "You're wrong about that," isn't "mansplaining" so much as it's general confusion.

Mansplaining is a genuine issue and the term is an important one- it conveys a specific layer of misogyny and fulfils a niche of obnoxiousness and self importance (at the expense of someone else)- but 'person (masculine, male, or unidentified on the internet) is wrong about something (with any sort of slight confidence)' is not mansplaining.

It just kind of waters down the meaning to something silly and childish or adds a layer of heaviness/predjuice that isn't always there.
