Art process here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CyUeTwYpcJl/?img_index=1 When I remembered that I forgot to draw Tea and Trinity, I think I drew them back to back or the dates were close together? It's been a minute since I've finished these pieces so I don't entirely remember. Crea and Tea were born around the same time, and the two of them constantly clash. I also recall that when I was making them for a sculpture class project, I wanted them to have opposing color schemes. I think Crea's palette is stronger due to how I balanced her colors compared to Tea though. Out of these three pieces, Tea's stare seems to be the most unwavering and intense. Not to start anything(but I am) but I know you’re from Maryland(bmore possibly, I don’t want to be presumptuous) and I’m from close enough to Richmond.. so uh anyways Edgar Allen Poe is from Richmond NOT Baltimore!

i do know this!!! but he himself did love baltimore and choose to live there, and hes buried there next to the university of maryland law school so culturally he’s sort of identified with us. (also he was technically BORN in boston)

Crea

Art process here: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cx1fz4MtxIK/?img_index=1 I drew this a lot earlier in the year intending to draw Crea and her sisters individually in a set. I wanted to draw some clearer references of her for an art event in a server I'm in going on at the time. I didn't finish those references, and I forgot to draw Tea and Trinity until a lot later. Oops.  I do really like the color coverage and blendability of alcohol markers. I do need to work with them a lot more, especially working with markers and pencils together for layering a shading. It probably would be easier on my hand too. I should try to sew some clothes for Crea and her sisters, actually. I made the three of them as dolls first.  Coloring and layering her skintone is fun but also difficult since I have to figure out how to color match and pick out the patterns as best as I can from her doll. Trinity

Art process here: https://www.instagram.com/p/CyUesyrJ6Hc/?img_index=1 Trinity's coloration ended up being the most off? I'm still. Not the best with working with alcohol markers. I can color with them but I'm still learning how to use them? Honestly I should have used a seafoam-like color or something. Trinity has a lot more vibrantly hued colors compared to her sisters since I wanted to have an inbetween look. I also haven't drawn her third eye open before until this piece. Her third eye is closed on her doll too. When I look at how I colored the patterns on Trinity's chest, I'm reminded of Barney the Dinosaur. And I wasn't intending for Barney the dinosaur. If I color her in markers again, I'm going to really go through my pinks and greens first so a Barney situation doesn't happen a second time. Trinity- Me (@circifox)
