I mostly just stream stuff and I let the algorithm decide a lot, but if I really like the artist I will buy a CD and/or merch to support them.

And genre wise you go for mainstream stuff or indie or..? Like, I get the whole "If I really like an artist" thing especially bc CDs aren't always cheap. I'm personally just curious because in my experience rock and metal fans are more likely to own physical copies while mainstream listeners tend to go more for streaming or digital downloads. If not p*rating lol and I wondered if my feeling is right or not. So far most people who commented do mainly listen to rock and metal
