By now y’all know my distain for HD, not that I have any love lost for Bock either.. or WeaPo.. or gilorier.. so basically this is me missing VM at 4CC and HOLLERING at the cocky ness HD display for a rushed, messy, careless program with a travelling stationary lift guys come on what are you doing sitting there pep-rallying for +5’s.. you look like idiots. Btw. who tf is this lady on the right ↗️??

2. Belbin/Agosto blow it in the Compulsory Dance

They came to these world champs in 2008 expected to win, with the Russians D/S out with injury. But down Tanith goes on a twizzle in the CD.. the point of CD’s is that you are in hold basically the whole time therefore it’s extremely unlikely to fall bc your partner holds you. This put them 6th after the CD, 5th in the OD, rising to 4th after the FD.. they would never win a worlds or Olympics despite being an incredible team* (for the time.. )

3. FP/M- Torino addition

Maybe the funniest thing ever in Ice dance. This happened after at least 3 teams had already had serious falls (including Marie and Patch which I won’t be talking about bc of the seriousness of it- that was not funny) this on the other hand is HILARIOUS. Firstly: the costumes. WHAT? WHY? Maritzio looking like a pimp. Even before the fall this performance reminds me of your cringe aunt and uncle getting up to dance at a wedding. They had not competed since SLC 2002.. we won’t discuss that bc How and WHY- what sport was ID in 2002 where this team wins a medal over Bourne & Kraatz?????

Then.. the fall.. yes BESP uncles.. it was the too much outside edge that did it, that’s where the problems started, never mind mags’ shithouse skating skills.

My favourite part is when she just *reverse Homer Simpson’s out of a hedge* towards him and he does that *nod* as if to say “hey that was pretty damn good” seriously, what a flop, even in the K&c it continues to be hilarious him just man spreading looking at the scores while she looks like she’s gonna kill herself (and him), he’s looking as if ‘yeah that’s not bad’ well you wouldn’t know bro there’s been a new system introduced since you seemingly last stepped on an ice rink.

Just omg.. iconic. all I can think about is god forbid this ever happened to vm and the polar opposite their reaction would be (except S never dropped T and S actually had skating skills)

This is kinda a sad one..

But what I love is the contrast between B/K reaction and FP/M..

No blame, no hate, no making a scene.

They were in 4th place going into the FD with a good chance of capturing bronze, but fell in the last 5 seconds.

It was so unfortunate but you know what: you skate to MJ you should expect karma..

They finished 4th- same as they had in 1998- a fixed event

I don’t want to talk about this to point where I’m gonna get hate for it and I also don’t want to be that person who says ‘I don’t talk bout what I don’t know’ and then talk about what I don’t know but since this post has a bit of a ‘blunt and direct humour about it’, why do I get the feeling that the whole ‘we don’t have faith in ourselves’ thing was a bit of an act with these two and training with the goats gave them this false sense that they were better than they were and took that cocky confidence too far to the point where (he especially) couldn’t stay on his damn feet?? The whole ‘Gabrois podium sweep’ thing they were going for at these worlds and olys gives me side eye..

White Nationalist ‘Active Clubs’ Are Who ‘Proud Boys Wanted to Be’ – Rolling Stone

This ‘Violence-Ready’ Militia Is Hiding in Plain Sight

White supremacist Active Clubs are growing exponentially — "They’re Who The Proud Boys Wanted To Be," one researcher says

There’s a new power player on America’s extremist scene. White nationalist “Active Clubs” are growing explosively, and filling a void created by the prosecutions that decimated the leadership of Oath Keepers and the Proud Boys. “The Active Clubs are who the Proud Boys thought they were,” says Jon Lewis, a research fellow at the Program on Extremism at George Washington University. “They’re who the Proud Boys wanted to be.”

Active Clubs mix white supremacy and violence, training in kickboxing, among other combat sports. But — at least the moment — they’re not seeking to intimidate the public with swastikas and face tattoos, common to other groups of racist brawlers. Instead, Active Clubs have put forward a slicker, more presentable aesthetic — recruiting new members by touting physical fitness, self-improvement, and “white unity.”

The Active Clubs are flying below the radar of law enforcement. But as described in a new 50-page report from the Counter Extremism Project (CEP), the network is evolving into a dangerous “stand-by militia” of well-trained, white-nationalist fighters “who can be activated when the need for coordinated violent action on a larger scale arises.”

Here’s what you need to know:

Where Did Active Clubs Come From?

Active Clubs are the creation of Robert Rundo, a white supremacist who operated out of Orange County, California. They’re his second attempt to launch an extremist network. Starting in 2017, Rundo built the “Rise Above Movement” or RAM, which sought to spark the “warrior spirit” in white men and billed itself as the “premier MMA club of the Alt-Right.”

But the violent street brawling of Rundo and his compatriots quickly invited a crackdown. Rundo and others were charged in 2019 with federal conspiracy to riot for violent California confrontations in places like Huntington Beach and Berkeley, where Rundo and his fighters decked themselves out in “goggles, mouth guards, athletic tape around their wrists, and black face masks with white skeleton designs,” according to the indictment.

Those charges were tossed out for a time — due to a dispute over the constitutionality of the criminal statute. By the time they were reinstated in 2021, Rundo was in the wind, living in Serbia and other parts of Eastern Europe, where he was picking up new tricks from local hooligans and crafting a vision for what he bills “White Supremacy 3.0.”

What is White Supremacy 3.0?

This is Rundo’s shorthand for a reboot of tactics and aesthetics among white nationalists. In this rubric, White Supremacy 1.0 refers to the skinheads — flamboyant, scary, in your-face, but self-limiting in building broad appeal. 2.0 was the “Alt-Right” — cleaner cut, far more presentable, but terminally online (Rundo derides them as “keyboard warriors”) and beset by infighting among disparate groups over priorities and tactics.

White Supremacy 3.0 in this context seeks to achieve a mix of publicly-presentable aesthetics, real-world activism, and white-power solidarity. The Active Clubs reflect these ideas in their slogans, including, “Make fascism fun,” “White unity at every opportunity,” and “Being handsome and jacked is more important than being right when it comes to politics.”

How Are Active Clubs Organized?

Active Clubs do not have a top-down hierarchy. They operate instead as an “open network” of locally run cells that all share the same ethos. According to the CEP report, “Active Clubs are supposed to connect and cooperate but stay operationally independent.” The logic behind the distributed power structure is that “infiltrations and arrests of leadership figures, or even the shutdown of an Active Club, should have little if any effect on the Active Club network itself.”

In May 2022, Rundo celebrated the network’s resilience, insisting “the Active Clubs run on their own. They don´t need me anymore.” In fact, Active Clubs are growing exponentially, even with the group’s founder now in jail. Rundo was caught in Romania in March 2023 and extradited to the U.S. in August to face charges. His trial is set for December.

What do Active Clubs Look Like?

The Active Clubs present themselves as groups of gym bros who pursue mixed martial arts — and just happen to dabble in white power. “They are specifically asked not to talk about ‘The Jews’ when recruiting, but to focus on positive things like brotherhood, community and so on,” says Alexander Ritzmann, the Berlin-based researcher who authored the CEP report. This follows Rundo’s belief that: “A group of strong white men is a fascist statement in itself.”

Embracing the socially-acceptable violence of MMA culture allows active clubs to avoid the attention of law enforcement, who at first glance, Ritzmann says, would encounter what appears to be just “sporty white men — not much to see here.”

But beneath the surface, Active Clubs represent gangs of young white supremacists who are all about the “glorification of brutal violence,” Ritzmann insists. Lewis, the GW extremism researcher, warns that Active Clubs have “truly become the tip of the fascist spear.”

How Do Active Clubs Gain New Members?

The Active Clubs recruit with narratives of white victimhood, an approach that justifies violence in seeking the supposed restoration of white greatness. The Active Clubs, according to the CEP report, recruit at gyms, motocross events, NASCAR races, and perhaps most disturbing, at high schools. “When there’s an increase in violence at a high school,” Ritzmann says, “the recommendation is to show up to provide protection and training for the white male students.”

The strategy is “tribe and train” — to group off in small, locally run groups that solicit new members and build up their capacity as street fighters.

How Many Active Clubs Are There?

Since their founding in late 2020, the Active Clubs have grown explosively. There are now nearly 50 active clubs across 34 states, according to the CEP research. The network is also active in Canada, where there are a dozen clubs, and in Europe where 46 clubs can be found across 14 different countries.

In the U.S., the groups are now taking leadership cues from Rundo’s home club, SoCal Active Club. Other prominent cells include the Tennessee Active Club, the Great Lakes Active Club, the Southern Sons Active Club, and the Evergreen Active Club. A typical Active Club ranges from five to 25 members. But they have a broader reach through social media. The Telegram channels of the most popular clubs have hundreds — and as many as thousands — of subscribers.

Most clubs adopt a similar white-power logo, a cross inside a circle. “This is a use — or abuse — of the Celtic cross, and then they put their local spin on it,” Ritzmann says. Despite supposed prohibitions on Nazi symbolism, some clubs have drifted into more overt anti-semitism and racism. The Southern Sons Active Club logo, for example, features SS lightning bolts and a sonnenrad instead of a Celtic cross.

Do the Active Clubs Join Together?

While the clubs largely act alone, Active Clubs have for the past two years, hosted an MMA tournament, with representatives from Active Clubs across America joining in for the fights. The tournament this past August, in Huntington Beach warehouse, also featured participation by members of the the group Patriot Front.

Active Clubs do operate independently, says Morgan Lynn Moon, an investigative researcher at the ADL’s Center on Extremism. But she insists that they “see themselves as part of a connected brotherhood,” adding that “if one Active Club is targeted by a perceived enemy, the entire network feels this need to stand up in solidarity and support.”

Moon points to a late-June clash outside Portland, between local Proud Boys and members an Active Club affiliate called the Rose City Nationalists. Both groups had shown up to menace an LGBTQ Pride event, but wound up scruffling with each other. The conflict was the result of a personal beef, Moon says. “But what I found significant was how Active Clubs across the nation were coming out in solidarity — saying that they were going to start fighting the Proud Boys.”

How Are Active Clubs Financed?

The funding of the Active Clubs is opaque. But at least part of the money comes from sales of a lifestyle apparel brand founded by Rundo called Will2Rise, which sells “militant active wear.” The slick store site not only sells “Active Club” track jackets and hoodies, it also serves as recruitment propaganda and a reinforcer of the aesthetics Rundo wants to model for the network.

From the outside, the network appears flush. “They travel a lot,” Ritzmann says. “Rundo was offering a French Active Club to pay for their travel so they can attend some of their fight nights. So where does that money come from? It is this shop.”

What’s the End Game?

The Active Clubs’ primary actions — consisting of covert banner drops, graffiti tagging, and posting Active Club recruitment or “Free Rundo” stickers — may appear relatively innocuous. But this is also training with a nefarious edge. As the CEP report describes it, such actions build “operational and logistical capacities such as scouting target locations, transportation, and avoiding law enforcement.”

Ritzmann also describes that Active Clubs that have been bragging about “tactical casualty care training” — something he notes has nothing to do with kickboxing or MMA fighting. “This is for shooting events,” he says. “Where you need to evacuate wounded people from the area of violence.”

For now, Active Clubs are in startup mode, pursuing growth. “They want to fill up the tank with as many white men as they can train,” says Ritzmann. The darker purpose, he insists, is to prepare “for the Day-X scenario.” Think: a replay of Jan. 6 or something more dangerous, “when there’s national leadership that needs… a network of violence-ready individuals to serve as a stand-by army.”

When discussing Active Clubs, Rundo himself has invoked the American Revolution, comparing the network to the Minutemen militias. “They will lose some [members] once they then get very political,” Ritzmann predicts. “But if Active Clubs are allowed to continue to operate and multiply, it increases the likelihood for targeted political violence and terrorism.”

Yuzuru Hanyu's senior SP costumes

1. Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso (Rondo/Roncapu)

There are so many things to say about Rondo. A program that reflects Yuzu's journey - a story of his life (based on Shae-Lynn Bourne's interview). A program that was meant to be not only the SP that would help him win the 2021 Japanese Nationals, but also the SP that would set a new WR at the Beijing Olympics. It is a gorgeous, complex program to execute. The Beijing Rondo is a heavy memory in all our minds, however, that misfortune, at least for me, did not take away from the beauty of the performance.

Rondo is also Yuzu's last competitive short program and Beijing Rondo was our last memory of this SP. Nevertheless, on 28th August 2022, during the 24HTV charity broadcast, Yuzu presented us with a new Rondo - a far more delicate and polished Rondo than the ones we saw at the 2021 Japanese Nationals and at Beijing. Yuzu faced his fear and we faced ours alongside him.

I know some of you may still not be able to watch any competitive Rondo, but I promise you - this new Rondo has the power to override the bad memories and heavy emotions - it holds a new meaning now. A powerful, on the rise, pro athlete Yuzu has skated it as his pro career's debut program. Rondo closed a chapter and introduced us to a new one.

Moving on to the costume.

Firstly, a short disclaimer: I have unintentionally chosen most photos from Beijing - this is because the photos I could find in the best quality for identifying costume details are from the Olympics and not JNats. The only one from JNats is the photo showing Yuzu's back.

This is a costume that only Yuzuru Hanyu can pull off. The low neckline, front and back, paired with the choker can be considered feminine. Yuzu's figure makes the costume mesmerizing and the costume highlights Yuzu's neck, collarbones and shoulder blades. While skating, the elegance of the movements, Yuzu's posture and the flow of the costume create a dream-like image.

The gradient theme appears again on this costume - the sleeves have a clear transition from white-blue to a deeper blue . A less pronounced gradient is present on the front and back.

The basis of Rondo vaguely reminds me of the Otonal 2.0 costume. The back is made of material apparently divided into V-shaped strips meeting in the center - the line of the zipper. In the front, there is an overlapping effect - the right side being diagonally oriented from the right shoulder to the right hip creating this impression, while the left side flows diagonally from the shoulder to the center of the sternum as if tucked in. The hem is 'shredded', so even when Yuzu is still, it gives the impression of dynamism.

The front and back of the costume seem to be made out of multiple strips, effect achieved by the material being folded. For me, it also creates a 3D effect intensified by the subtle gradient, as such bringing a depth to the design.

Clear and light blue sequins are attached alongside the strips enhancing the overlapping effect and giving the costume that elegant, sparkly intensity that we have come to associate with most of Yuzu's costumes. The golden accents of the top resemble feathers, observation based on the shape of Yuzu's feather necklace (visible underneath the mesh cloth in the above photo) that looks like the shape of the accent themselves.

The sleeves are the most simple element of the costume. They are thin, almost form-fitting with the cuffs being slightly wider. There are few sequins that adorn the upper arm, thus the eyes are mainly drawn to the gradient. It's almost an abrupt switch between the white-ish blue and the San Marino blue. The costume is completed by the skin colored mesh gloves which, in contrast with the darker cuffs, bring attention to hand gestures during the performance.

I chose to talk about the best feature of the Rondo costume at the end. The choker. The entire costume is a work of art in itself, however, the choker is the one element which completes the look and makes it unique.

The choker is filled with sequins of various colors: clear, light pink, light blue, dark blue, gold. However, the best little detail of the choker is the half-moon glued on the left side. The material on which these are attached to also holds a bit of gradient. The lower part of the choker is a very light blue, while the rest of it is San Marino blue, just like the cuffs. Connecting the choker to the rest of the top is a see-through skin colored mesh cloth.

Although the costume is very elegant, light and sparkly, it also brings out the strength and power that Yuzu holds as a figure skater. I specifically chose the below photo - the spread eagle with the arm up, a beautiful artistic choice to enhance the performance, a movement that fits the music perfectly. The power this pose holds is more so important to me since this is done right after that damned hole-in-the-ice incident. Yuzu never let go of the music, of his immersion into the program - he skated it beautifully from start to finish. I have shown his Beijing Rondo to people who have no idea about rules, technical elements and the such, and to their eyes, there was no mistake, that's how good Yuzu masked the incident.

Some of us wondered when we would see Rondo again, some had a harder time processing Beijing's Rondo, so there was silence. As we have been informed during this year's 24HTV, Yuzu also struggled to make peace with Rondo - Beijing was a hardship for him, I think, more than for us. But Yuzu decided to bring Rondo back as the program with which to make his debut as a pro athlete.

An unblemished Rondo was skated on 16th August (and aired on 28th). Here you can watch Rondo in it's entirety, without camera cuts, without commentary all thanks to NTV News (Rondo in 2 versions - one with camera cuts, and the 2nd the one I have previously linked). And Noto-san provided us with pictures from then.

The costume looks gorgeous under dim lights with a dark background. As such, the costume and the program became more precious to me and it was proof once more of how strong Yuzu is both mentally and physically. He completed a full competitive Rondo - the commentator even said that all the spins and StSq were Level 4. Rondo is the program which deserves a WR, a program so demanding and intricate that no one else can skate to, a program that is Yuzu's and Yuzu's alone.

The relief Yuzu showed after completing the program makes me very emotional as it allowed freedom to settle in.

Hi, I’m Danielle (my real name is Leslie).

I’m 31, she/they/them, biromantic asexual. I live in Oregon (born and raised), but I have lived in Washington state, North Dakota, and Colorado. I have 3 ridiculous cats (Tiberius, Princess, and Lucy). I live with my sister, her dog, and her five cats. I have two tattoos: one on my posterior left forearm that says "T'hy'la", and one on my anterior right forearm that is the Star Trek emblem and says "Anton" and "K.O."

I’ve been an RN for over ten years and am a chronic student - I have a master's degree and have held three professional nursing certifications at one time - oncology, blood and marrow transplant, hospice & palliative (I had to drop my palliative/hospice certification due to time and money - 100 continuing education credits are no joke!). I am in graduate school for the second time (grad school 2.0!), aiming to become an oncology/hematology nurse practitioner while obtaining my doctorate (Acute Care NP program, DNP). My passion is curing cancer. I want to work with blood cancers/stem cell transplantation. I currently work as needed as an Infusion RN, giving chemotherapy/immunotherapy to cancer patients.

new face, who’s this? thank you to everybody who sent in the suggestions, and i’m so sorry that i’m fickle that i decided on somebody who wasn’t even suggested 😭 but here’s an introduction to kang hyesu 2.0! truthfully, nothing much has changed about her personality-wise, but there’s been a few tweaks so here we go! 💕

want to start out by saying that i realize the age change will shift some dynamics and relationships significantly! i will be more deligent with plotting and such now considering this refreshed by muse!! i’m also available on d*scord if that’s more comfortable with you!

what has changed about her: now born in 1997 and is the middle child of the kang’s. this also means she’s no longer a student, though she did graduate as a korean dance major at snu! at the moment, her main line of work is paid advertisements on her instagram and some modeling gigs here and there. all in all, she’s doing what everybody does after they appear on a dating program - trying hard to remain relevant

what hasn’t changed about her: still the black sheep of her family, still knows that she’s super gorgeous and will use it to her abilities, still superficial and materialistic, still really determined to remain relevant!

oh, and her secret has been slightly tweaked but the basis is the same! she’s not a great korean dancer, but her parents paid her way into the school and went as far as threatening the girl who got dropped in her place!

also something that i don’t think i mentioned enough in the hyesu 1.0 intro: hyesu’s still fairly new in the game with the socialities and all that. her first post on the page would have been january, 2023 when gossip girl started up again!

there’s also been a change in her gg alias! rather than wishing star, i thought firecracker fit more because hyesu’s really unpredictable when it comes to her actions. the word also still conveys the idea of her wanting to rise up and sparkle so!!!

Welp, besides going absolutely bananas on the Chaos Quartet getting the glowup they deserve, looks like I misjudged who created them in the first place. Whoops 😅

Nevertheless, the little context clues just scream the idea of Metta pulling the strings as inconspicuously as possible to bring Vaithe/Vados out of the woodwork of the Pixekai program...Indirectly, of course, that's just his motif at this point. If you don't want to watch the video to catch up, here's a little rundown of the Chaos timeline (using Luke as the MC name because it's canon in my heart and in the official Nexomon channel):

TL;DR: While the Abyssals DLC explains how Amelie created Vados by finding an ancient Micromon dex in the Frozen Tundra, it inadvertently reveals Metta's future plan of reviving the relics of N1 and Micromon past for Nexomon 3; and the Micromon fans should rise from the dead since Leah might come back to control the Chaos Quartet as she did once before and become Malk 2.0.

-About a decade before Luke's birth (25-ish years ago), the Guild (ie. Amelie and Logan) find a trove of tech from the Frozen Tundra containing the Micromon database ("The MALK blueprints" aka. 154 horribly displaced 'mons at their disposal). Micromon/MCR 150-154 contain the Chaos siblings [Gurgita, Fulmina, Anima, Agita, and Vaithe]. -10 years later, Luke/Solus is born and the Greater Dragons go crazy, destroying their initial lab at Drake Isles and destroying the data of 149 MCRs; Amelie and Logan only managed to recover the last five, although most of the original data was heavily damaged from the rampage. The two then travel to Precursor Mountain (previous, and future, stomping ground of the Abyssal Tyrants) and split the data between two labs; Amelie working on Fulmina, Agita and Vaithe while Logan takes Gurgita and Anima. Logan hides in a lab deep in the mountain where a strange spatial anomaly already present in the area creates an endless maze and disorients anyone that tries to traverse it (Amelie is rightfully pissed off about it). -About a year later, the Renegades start hatching their Tyrants and wreck havoc on the world to try and become King of Monsters, causing Amelie to panic and prioritize completing Vaithe/Vados over the Chaos Quartet. They split the data and Logan just plops the disc for Anima on his desk back at Cadium as a "souvenir". They finish Vados just around the time of the main story (now I believe that this scene might be the exact moment when Vados was completed/activated; honing onto Luke way too fast for comfort and rightfully freaking him out, though it would've been interesting to see some kind of reaction from Coco or the others as well). -In the present time of the Abyssal DLC (post-game mind you), Luke stumbles upon Amelie's old lab and recover the first Chaos disc (Fulmina); plunging headfirst into a rabbit hole that inevitably releases four digi-gods of the Micromon past into the far flung future of 1,015 years later. Of course, for science!

Now with that added context, it makes a bit more sense on the revival side since it's easy to assume (in N:E time) that all of them were bipedal with the data they salvaged...Still, what an upgrade it was! :D

Move over Dracozolt/vish and Arctozolt/vish, this is how you butcher ancient mons right! But it says as much that while Chaos Quartet were the only ones that were damaged, Vados was restored and looked relatively the same...Well, Amelie was so adamant on bringing the Colossus of Light into the real world with all his bells and whistles attached (with the terrifying bonus of giving him an evolution on top of it all).

All in all, the main question here is how Amelie and Logan were able to recover such a priceless time capsule of Micromon data in the first place? While Logan mentioned finding them in the Frozen Tundra, I have a feeling that there are only two places they could've found it: Omnicron's Tomb or Nexolord/Metta's old house in N1. And getting the Micromon database in its entirety, I'm pretty sure that Metta either had an M-Linker from Malk or took possession of it after N1; but I love the idea that they only called it the "MALK database" since he literally wrote his name on the dex for keepsake (and the same applies for the Chaos/CHAOS Quartet). Case in point, the amount of people that know the existence of the Pixekai program in Extinction's time are slim to none; Metta, the N1 protagonist, Atlas, and Vados himself (depends if he remembers his MCR times or not). And obviously with Metta having direct access to Micromon from Malk (and/or the M-Linker), who's to say that he kept the data safe until they brought back another set of monstrosities that shouldn't exist in the first place. If he's smart enough to fix a resurrection machine on the edge of destruction and drop off the grid after near-death two times in the N1 timeline, he's definitely smart enough to possibly make a copy of Micromon or Pixekai to use for his future plot... And while I'm on a roll with the Metta revival theory, on top of holding onto priceless Pixekai data, he would definitely still have a Nexopad to boot, leading to the revival of a bunch of wonderful iterations of N1 (and or MCR) mons before Amelie and Logan even set foot on the mountain: • Abbadog (N 183) -> Abbadog (NX 382) • Arctivore (N 183) -> Arctivore (NX 383) • Bogarp (N 180) -> Bogarp (NX 384) •Dustuf (MCR) -> Broshield (N 153) -> Broshield (NX 385) •Hoosdom (MCR 105) -> Wiselie (N 156) -> Wiselie (NX 401) •Fropip (N 11) -> Frominence (NX 409) • Hobyn (N 3) -> Mauradin (NX 407) • Molotail (MCR 66) -> Trondle (N 162) -> Trondle (NX 397) • Mollucess (MCR 140) -> Gemeen (N 95) -> Gemeen (NX 406) • Ashgon (MCR 62) -> Tephragon (N 101) -> Tephragon (NX 408) And many many many more...

While listing the examples above, the reoccurring theme is that each revived Nexomon keeps their original name from the N1 era, even if they clearly have a major upgrade or appearance change (in contrast to the first iteration of revived Nexomon in the main story). The few Nexomon that received a different name are Frominence and Mauradin since they are an additional evo from their previous incarnation. And even if it rightfully pissed Ziegler off when over a thousand clearly extinct Nexomon were somehow resurrected from the Netherworld, he (predictably) blames Luke for it since the magic signature is practically identical to his power of Life (Even Deena confirms that her siblings (and herself) aren't capable of this scheme to this extent). But, you know, they lived on the mountain before he showed up; and with the added hassle of Venefelis somehow "holding onto" the access energy to consistently revive his Abyssal siblings out of spite and vengeance alone... Everything about Precursor Mountain just leaves a Metta-sized footprint on his upcoming plots and everyone in the Guild is too stressed out about the Abyssals coming back until the Primordial Tyrants (and/or Vados) get a whole lot of whiplash when they finally figure out the true culprit of this whole fiasco. But to make this absolutely long story short, Metta was reviving an entire Nexomon army from the past (and Digi-World) on a uncharted mountain right under everyone's noses and plans to psychologically torment his nephew for centuries to come until he gets the throne since being Nexolord just didn't scratch that itch anymore.

Oh right, I also needed to explain why Leah might come back... -She's the only one who can control the Chaos Quartet (as explained in my previous post). -While Malk might've destroyed Pixekai to escape into the real world (albeit in temporal limbo), the key point is him updating Pixekai from 1.0 to 2.0; presumably reformatting Micromon's story to exclude him. So who's to say that Leah is still alive in the program since all that she wants is to live a better life in the real world... -Oh yeah, and have you seen her mask? She would become Metta's replacement Overseer after Glacia in a heartbeat.

While I don't exactly know how many hurdles Metta will jump through for Nexomon 3 and whether or not Leah will come back for real, the continuity is way too easy to see if anyone had the chance to look back to Micromon (and here's the full playlist in case anyone wants to catch up on potential foreshadowing).

Nevertheless, Moga/Vewo Interactive has been going strong on tying loose ends in all three games so far; so who's to say that Metta's going to throw down hard with ancient Nexomon and Micromon at his disposal in Nexomon 3, and he might as well have another helping hand that is both a genius of their time, digital just like Malk, and has a heart as cold as ice like Glacia...And if we somehow get to see Zeth and Cyborg come back from the woodwork too, I'll be happy. :)

catching up to the gpf free- omg kaitlin and jean-luc - this is even better now than at skate america, and it was so moving even then- the way each set of twizzles releases like a sigh, the way they flow into the dance spin as the voice rises- they have so much control over and vary their speed to the music while never losing the motion and flow- this is the only program where i forget the tech box is there

chock and bates 3.0 is more cohesive. it’s like cirque du soleil in the music and packaging now, which is not my thing, but the costumes better suit the concept than 2.0 did. she’s a great liftee- many of their best moments are when she’s being lifted in some way- that splits move she does is beautiful. but it feels like smoke and mirrors compared to watching say HB or HD at their best

i feel like once the novelty of FG’s bag of tricks has worn off, there’s not much room for it to deepen or show something new, so i’m not enjoying this as much. plus the camera work here was terrible and ruined a couple of the more impactful parts. that said, Lilah has a moment here and there where her upper body is quite still so it looks more like she’s floating across the ice- like working with Tessa is paying off

GP - idk, when i saw this live, how fast they were, how much they were riding the energy of the Canadian crowd- that lent some excitement to it, but it's feeling more artificial. i get why they might have used the Madonna version, the theatrical versions have a more raw sound and don't have the big production value that this does, but Patti Lupone and other Evitas have more edge, and i like Piper and Paul when they're either weirder or more sincere- Hitchcock or Vincent. but the judges are sure loving this, so no incentive to change a thing😬🙃
