Round 1, Side A, Poll 8
Tumblr media
Rebekah Jakobs-Hammerlock ( @wainwrightjakobshammerlock ) VS. Sawyer Hale ( @thewikiplayer )
-------
( art by wainwrightjakobshammerlock )
What is your baby's name? Pronouns?: Rebekah Jakobs-Hammerlock, she/her
Is your baby from a fandom or original?: Fandom - the Borderlands game series
How old is your baby?: 5 in my post canon alternate universe (7-8 years after Borderlands 3)
Tell us about your baby!: She's the testtube biological baby of Sir Hammerlock & Wainwright Jakobs (which basically means she could aim and shoot a pistol at the age of 4) and has 4 siblings (one of which is also an oc, but is an adoptive kid, and the rest are canon characters who got adopted). She has a big plushie collection (some knitted or sewn by Wainwright, some crocheted by Hammerlock, some being gifts from extended family or the Crimson raiders) and also fucked up eldritch powers beyond human comprehension bc her parents are abominations from beyond the veil (my Borderlands rewrite AU is a mess haha) which she primarily uses to teleport all over the house, causing an understandable amount of problems. Clay is her weird uncle and she loves him. She's kinda based off Wednesday Addams because autism. Also she is autistic, the nicest weirdgirl on Eden-6, swears an unusual amount for a 5 year old (being around Wainwright del Frisco Jakobs-Hammerlock will do that to you) and often swaps between her Edenian (space southern) and her Hermesian (space british) accents bc yknow. Just listen to her dads speak and you'll see.
Anything else you want to add?: (1) Most people call her Reb for short but Wainwright calls her Rebby because yes. (2) She eventually grows to inherit the Jakobs corporation and generally sorta girlbossify but that's extreme future timeskip stuff I don't talk abt often because I feel cringe about it. (3) Her name continues on the general theme of Jakobs related things having biblical symbolism - Rebekah is Jacob's mother in the book of Genesis (if i remember correctly). (3) Her voiceclaim is Lili Zanotto from Psychonauts :D (4) She calls Hammerlock "Papa" and Wainwright "Daddy"
----
( art by thewikiplayer )
What is your baby's name? Pronouns?: sawyer hale, he/they/xe
Is your baby from a fandom or original?: completely original!! the universe name is "turnabout tech"
How old is your baby?: 16!!
Tell us about your baby!: [MOD NOTE: TW for father death]
sawyer hale is a kid who had a pretty hard knock life in a cyberpunk dystopia city. after deciding his dad kinda sucked, sawyer ran away and emancipated himself at 16 and moved into a different, nicer city and became a hermit for a while. afterwards, he proceeded to save the world twice; once he saved a cyberworld from the big bad capitalists and second he saved the universe from collapsing via terrible creature. as he goes through these adventures he learns how to be comfortable and happy with himself again.
also he destroyed his dad when he possessed a robot body. go kid!!
sawyer super loves tech but he gave it up for a while because Shitty Dad Ruining It For Him, but he eventually finds his passion again and makes phenomenal inventions. also he is the embodiment of Baby because all the adults around him want to scoop him up and carry him around for being a little issues boy with issues. they love singing and the arts in general, and they're very open-minded, which makes them a pretty good friend.
oh yeah all his adventures kinda messed up his biology so he's partially made of code now. and also has wings made of code. he can design them however he wants like retexturing game assets. YIPPIE!
Anything else you want to add?: I'M SO SORRY FOR THE PARAGRAPH. GODSPEED

In a Psychonauts au where the Aquato kids' ages were switched around (oldest is now youngest, youngest is now oldest, raz is dead middle so stays the same)
I think that the family nicknames should have a fruit theme
Just because I think Queepie -> Kiwi is cute
Mirtala being blueberry because mirtillo is blueberry in Italian (correct me if I'm wrong!)
And razberry is also cute
And Augustus can be Pa-paya
So first 3 are easy fruits, I think reaching for the other 2 can be ok just for the theme.
Frazie as either strawberry (fragola) or fig because I think it's cute.
Dion is tricky. Google says watermeal (wolffia globasa) is the tiniest fruit and comes from a type of duckweed plant. Tbh I just wanna keep it as Ducky like some other stories have made up. I think it's cute, maybe a zanotto helped out with that one?
I don't have any actual plot for this concept that I've seen others briefly touch, but I am fond of age swap.

Are there any Villain characters (Canon & OC) that you find intriguing? Who and why?
Villain characters I find intriguing... hmm...
Different Properties - 8 Characters - 13
Cosma (OK K.O.) - I like the shape changing dragon. Rand Ridley (Inside Job) - HORRIBLE FATHER. Rewatching the series you know his plan and you see it happening. But still wants his big happy family. I want to jump into your brain old man. We jumped into your daughter's now it's your turn. Maligula (Psychonauts 2) - Aw, sweet little Nona. How in the world did you let yourself become the royalty your sister hated? How close were you with your sister before she drowned at your hands? How much did you love Gelsin Mux? What was your relationship with Mithra and Zalto, your parents? What did you think of your brother in law? Why do you still have so many questions surrounding you, Nona? The more we know, the more we realize such deep holes of unknowable with you and your age. You're in your seventies now, Nona. Coach Morceau "Morry/Oly" Oleander (Psychonauts) - He's my cuddle bunny. Bean bag shaped. So much of your past is known yet unknown. How much from the Li-Po is true about you? Or are you now just a surface level maniac who's being monitored? Tell me, Oly, is your family proud of you? VV Argost (Secret Saturdays) - Yeti with a God complex has such a dastardly plan. It makes me wonder why he wanted to infiltrate humanity in the first place if he hated them so much. Amelia (Infinity Train) - A woman who had a happy life and then... she lost everything. She got a chance to help herself and instead made it her life to stay on the train trying to go back to her old life, and now may never go home. Magica DeSpell (Ducktales) - Oh my goodness what a backstory, what powers, what a fall. All around turning from most intimidating villain who had a successful plan to pathetic. Toffee (Star Vs.) - Magic hating Raptor God Man deserved better. Volo (Pokemon) - God Complexes are fun. Javert (Les Miserables) - The desperation and unneeded attacks that Javert does to Jean Valjean is so shiver inducing to watch. Also I like his songs, like "The Confrontation."
Spinny (Whatever Happened to Shadowy Figure?) - Dastardly. Evil. Want to know more but all we know is what she's done to Brittney Spark and Nelly. Reaper Blanc (Hanahaki Ask AU: Unfinished Business) - He didn't always act like this, but something happened to him, and now I wonder who he was. "People's Peonies" (Family Swap) - I love the ideas of marginilized groups who are like: We have more power than these other people cause there are more of us/we have different, supernatural powers and them going to attack people. Like they have no clear goal they're just like: We're better than you. Dina [UNREVEALED STORY] - With a past shrouded and only the idea of chugging science along, Dina is a character similar to Peridot but never gets a redemption. She will go down with hope that her experiment lives on and does its job rather than see another failure. A blind follower of her superiors while also seeing herself as above, Dina is just very interesting to write.
[REDACTED] - This boy who was actually from someone helping me work on a fanfiction and not Belos from Owl House. There's literally no reason why I wouldn't just say Belos. Spoilers are off once things are revealed. No [REDACTED] is a fallen prince in a collaboration fic I'm working on and I have so many songs for this boyo. If you want to know why he's so villainous (without me spoiling the fic), just listen to "Everything At Once" by Lenka. That's essentially his entire character, both before and after his fall. [REDACTED] the fallen prince my beloved. Poor little meow meow. Needs to be thrown in the washing machine. Tar baby lookin ass. Has a tiktok where he censors the name of the "replacement brother" he hates. No Face from Spirited Away actin ass.

Stalkeyes’ Big Bumper Post of Assorted Psychonauts 2 Headcanons
Because I’ve been slow to fully embrace this hyperfixation so I’m just gonna dump as many things as possible here - in convenient bulletpoint form! Again, BIG SPOILERS for Psychonauts 2 (probably).
Lizzie and Norma:
You’ll already know this if you’ve read Fire on Ice, but their surname is Difficulty, because dumb puns.
They grew up in a rural town, surrounded by woods - since Liz seems to enjoy hunting in the wilderness and calls Raz a ‘poor city kid’. The town’s chief point of interest is the outlet mall just next-door. Their father, Harding Difficulty, is the town judge (hence Norma’s ‘when my parents hear about this!’ threat).
Lizzie knew of her powers from an early age and took pride in them, thinking being a psychic was really cool (pun intended). As kids, she used to enjoy spooking everyone by playing into the ‘creepy psychic twins’ angle. By contrast, the straitlaced, academically-minded Norma discovered her powers much later and tried to hide them, embarrassed by her sister’s antics; she always wanted to fit in and ‘be normal’ (appropriately enough).
Norma’s pyrokinesis had a habit of growing out of control when she’s understimulated. She learned this the hard way when, one Christmas when she was 8, she got bored waiting in line for a Santa’s Grotto and accidentally torched the place to the ground. Her own father sentenced her to spend that Christmas in juvie, and even now he can’t stop guilting her over it. She later attended Whispering Rock in the hopes that they could teach her psycho-safety, and Lizzie insisted on coming with - to their surprise, the counselors really sold them on the idea of becoming Psychonauts, and Norma stopped hiding her powers, becoming much more confident, driven and competitive. She and her sister effectively (and ironically) swapped roles, with Norma impulsively thinking up schemes to get ahead of the competition, while Lizzie, rebel extraordinaire, was the one telling her to slow down and chill (again, pun intended).
Yes, they like puns. Not that they’d ever admit that.
Norma was a big fan of Sasha Nein in particular, and was overjoyed at becoming his intern after attending Whispering Rock for years. Needless to say, she was kinda peeved when they’d barely even gotten started before Nein began raving over the psychic airwaves about this kid he met at camp, and then said kid showed up to the Motherlobe - not only being accepted into the intern program after only two days, if that, BUT he’d even been on a real mission to rescue the Grand Head of the Psychonauts, accomplishing in days what the other interns couldn’t do in years. Needless to say, she wasn’t exactly unbiased when she concluded that Razputin must be the mole.
Meanwhile, Lizzie could tell her sister was just jealous but was too laid-back to press the issue, knowing Norma well enough that she’d have no success anyway (when she said about Raz ‘I just think he doesn’t want us to see him cry’, she was thinking of her). Liz was content with just teasing the poor kid.
Lizzie didn’t hate her mentor, far from it, but found him kinda frustrating - they seemed to hit it off at first, but apparently she said the wrong thing or just talked too loudly because soon Agent Boole was oddly eager to send her away. She did make an effort to get him to come out of his shell, but eventually gave up, lest she be reassigned to another mentor who was less hands-off.
Gisu:
Her full name is Gisu Karmakar Tripe. She’s of mixed American, Indian and Persian/Iranian ancestry. This is based mostly on Gisu being a Persian word, while her VA’s name is Poonam Basu, which are apparently both names of Indian origin (I say this without knowing if they’re actually Indian, just to be clear). Also, the shawl Gisu wears reminds me of an Indian Dupatta, especially the way it hangs loosely and doesn’t always cover her head.
She’s the older sister of Vernon from the first game. Unlike Sam Boole, she doesn’t like to advertise this fact, sometimes even omitting the ‘Tripe’ part of her name when introducing herself. This is based solely on three things: 1, their physical features are kinda similar, 2, I love the idea of the energetic skateboarder being related to the world’s most boring kid, and 3, I like Vernon. :V
She enjoys hip-hop music, and before joining the Psychonauts she wanted to be a rapper. Morris ‘hired’ her onto K-LOBE because her gadgeteering expertise began with tinkering with radio equipment and DJ decks. Sometimes she records people talking (usually her brother) and makes them into backing samples.
She enjoyed skateboarding even before discovering her psychic powers, though she never wanted to go pro - the sports life wasn’t for her. In fact, she discovered her powers when she tried pulling a 360 Karma Chameleon over a tug boat and would have collided with a drunken sailor had it not been for levitation kicking in.
She was quietly freaking out when Raz seemed to disappear from the base during the third act, thinking he might have been injured or even killed by the Psychoseismometers she sent him off to vent. After making sure Raz was safe, she felt a sudden urge to talk to Vernon.
She thinks Dion is kind of a dork, and after dispelling his misconceptions about psychics finds them more funny than anything else, while appreciating that he was willing to change his views. She also encourages him to go easier on Raz, still kinda shaken from thinking she might have accidentally gotten him killed (the fact that Raz saved her brother’s brain certainly helped).
The Aquato Family:
Dion is in fact Raz’s half-brother - Augustus is his step-dad. This one’s a little complicated. It’s repeatedly stated that the Deluge of Grulovia happened 20 years before the story, and Augustus at that time appears to be around Raz’s age - 12 at the very oldest - yet he has a 16/15-year-old son. Assuming he was 12 back then, that means he himself was 17/16 when Dion was born, which, while barely over the age of consent in the US, still seemed a bit too quick to make that commitment to me. Thus, Donatella was 3 or 4 years older than Gus, and when they first met, she already had a baby son she’d gotten from a previous relationship about a year earlier (she doesn’t remember who the father is, probably a brief fling while the circus had stopped by the city). This gave them a few years to bond - Gus wowing Dona with all the stories of the prestigious Aquato Family Circus back in Grulovia - before they had their first child together, Frazie (aged 13 in the present - she grew fast). This also explains why Dion is the only one of the Aquato children without psychic powers (except possibly Mirtala, though I imagine she might have dormant abilities), since everyone else got them from Augustus.
Speaking of Augustus, if he was 12 after the Deluge, then he’d be 32 in the present, even though he looks and sounds old enough to be in his 40s. This can be attributed to his choice of hairstyle, and the stress of traveling circus life and acrobatic training taking its toll on him; his eyes have dark circles from lack of sleep, while his voice is gravelly from an old smoking habit his Nona got him into (and eventually quit for the sake of the children).
The Psychic Six:
Continuing from the age thing, the Six were of varying ages back when they first formed - the oldest members were Ford and Lucrecia, since Ford was the founder and both look positively ancient in the present, probably in their 70s or even 80s, meaning they would have been in their 50s or 60s at the time of the Deluge (to me, memories of Lucrecia appeared older than the memory of Maligula, since they were more accurate representations of her as a person, while the image of Maligula was a dramatized anthropomorphic personification of what she turned into. The fact that she had pink skin when Nona doesn’t probably sealed it :V).
Meanwhile, the youngest member was Bob, since he generally came off as the most youthful, both in appearance and outlook. He appears much older than he is in the present because his lifetime of alcoholism finally caught up with him.
Compton may have had some bad experiences with teenagers when he was younger - I imagine he was always kinda socially withdrawn even before the incident at the animal shelter, relating better with animals than with people (ironically, this meant he got on well with Bob, though not to the same extent as Cassie). This meant he was a target for mean older kids - just like his grandson Dogen would eventually become - an experience that stuck with him. He was reluctant to interact with Lizzie for partly this reason (plus, he’d heard stories of how older kids picked on Dogen, too), and Lizzie’s brash, devil-may-care attitude clashing with Compton’s insistence on quiet and tidiness certainly didn’t help. After Raz helped Compton overcome his self-confidence issues, he and Lizzie met up again and apologized to each other (because that sort of thing is my jam).
Cassie started writing again after the events of the story; her big comeback was The Maligula Within Us, essentially a memoir of what really happened during and after the Deluge and a treatise on how to keep one’s own personal Maligula in check (with contributions from Raz and Adam Joseph Gette, budding historian that he is).
The Zanotto Family:
If Bob Zanotto is Truman’s uncle, he must have had a sibling, yes? He did have a brother - Truman’s father and Lili’s grandpa - but he wasn’t psychic. It’s for this reason he never really got involved with the Psychonauts. Ironically enough, Truman took more after him than he did with Bob, since his dad was a businessman who emphasized the importance of making social connections, helping Truman in his development as a keen social observer, intelligence gatherer and manager, that lead to him becoming the Grand Head (notably, he was the only person in the base who noticed anything off with ‘Nick Johnsmith’). Somewhat to everyone’s surprise, too; no-one suspected a Zanotto would ascend to the position. While not heartless, he always tended to be too business-oriented for his uncle’s tastes, and never really got along well with plants, abandoning his development of herbaphony in favour of other skills.
Conversely, Lili’s mom got along well with Bob and seemed to share some of Bob’s sentiments about Truman, which lead to them getting divorced when she decided he was too much of a workaholic (she didn’t really agree with Truman’s decision to fire him, either). Lili stayed with her dad because she preferred being around fellow psychics, even if she took more after her mom and was disillusioned with the Psychonauts, inheriting her mom’s belief that they’d strayed from their goal of helping people. She almost developed her herbaphony as a display of rebellion against her father, emulating the great uncle she never met (well, maybe she had met him as a baby, but still). Truman became all too aware of this and made an effort to connect with his daughter more, but only succeeded in embarassing her. Needless to say, this all contributed to Lili’s belief that she’d been a terrible daughter.
Miscellaneous:
The world that Psychonauts takes place in is a lightly fictionalized and cartoony version of our Earth - close enough to our world that real countries like Germany, Brazil, France and Russia exist, along with historical figures like Washington, Nostradamus and Napoleon Bonaparte, but also different enough that there are people with naturally blue skin wandering around and wacky fictional countries like Grulovia also exist (plus whatever country the Lady Luctopus was in - probably Monaco or a Monaco-esque area, since they were speaking a language that was like French but not quite). I feel it hearkens back to the zany cartoons of the 60s and the 90s, which featured similar Earth-but-different settings.

Psychoswap: The Interns
At last, these are all done! Sorry they're all just kinda standing there. If I had to draw poses this would take even longer!
Tumblr media
I do hope my handwriting is legible. First up we have Lucy! She ran away from her family and now is caught up in a whole mess of a Psychonauts mission! It's really cool and really stressful at the same time! She's 14 because I tried to put her in between the ages of canon Raz and the canon interns. Lucy comes from a family of dancers, and is a good enough gymnast that it makes up for her remedial skill level with psychic things.
Tumblr media
Next up we have Ford and Otto! They were the first two Lucy met at camp. Lucy had to rescue Ford from getting his brains stolen, and they've been dating ever since. Ford is strangely talented at teleportation, which is an uncommon skill to have, especially someone so young. He's learning, but when he first started teleporting he would get stuck in trees like a cat.
Otto! Canon Otto's depression machine is hilarious to me so he has it here now too. He's the oldest of all the interns and he won't let anyone forget that! But that also means he feels responsible for all of them. Even if he's the oldest by only a few months. While his specialty is electrokinesis, he isn't very strong. He makes up for it by building devices. He's working on that hoverboard right now. If only he would stop falling off.
Tumblr media
Bob and Helmut! Bob is the nephew of the Grand Head of the Psychonauts, but he only joined the intern program recently. Why? Well, he felt responsible for his mom. His older sibling was already far away, and he was the only one taking care of her and the house. But finally, he did come to stay at the Motherlobe. It's not like he lives that far away anyway. He's glad he came though, as now he has a bunch of friends and also. Helmut. Oh he has the biggest crush on him, but is way to nervous to admit it.
Helmut for sure also has a crush on Bob. But again, too nervous to admit it! When will these two finally admit their feelings for each other? Helmut wants to see how music can effect psychic powers, and also psychic plants. That last part totally isn't an excuse to hang out with Bob! Also bending the laws of time is just a side hobby of his. But it would take a significant event for him to actually learn how to slow down time. That stuff is complicated.
Tumblr media
Bob isn't the only one with family in the Psychonauts. There's also Compton, who has both a famous agent and one of the founders as relatives. There's a lot of expectations placed on his shoulders, and it's causing him a lot of anxiety. Lucky for him, his friends are always there to make up excuses to get him out of those types of situations. He likes to sew, he even sewed tinfoil into his hat. It may seem silly, but it really does help keep out all the voices.
And finally, Cassie. Cassie's specialty is actually projection, but she hasn't told anyone except for Compton. No ones ever taught her how to deal with projections, no one even told her it existed! So when she accidentally summoned a paper "her" out of nowhere, it was a shock. She also really likes to read. She hangs out with Compton at least once a week and they read together and eat whatever snacks Compton cooked that week. Bob is there sometimes too! Her favorite animals are bees as well as cats by the way, and the psychic bees are something she's trying to study. Also, every day she wears her hair completely different. Finally, you can't see her ears in this photo but she does wear small star shaped earrings. Those are occasionally swapped for flower or bee earrings.

Ok but
Psychonauts age-swap AU, aka all of the adults are kids and the kids are adults. I dunno why, but I think itd be some sort of daycare or smth, cuz not all of the now-kids are psychics (lookin at you, Thorney Towers), if psychics are still a thing.
The events of the first game are just different results of the kids playing! Essentially, a big game of good guys v bad guys, with the Thorney Towers patients as a sort of neutral party. Little Loboto goes around like "oh, I've got your brain, Mr. Boole!" and the adults just go along with it. "Sorry Raz, I can't help you clean up, Cal's got my brain."
Raz eventually has to step in and help "Psychonauts" Sasha and Milla cuz everybody's calling it break time cuz their brains got stolen and Raz can't run the dang place by himself--

☾ ˚⊹  ❛❛  GENERAL QUICK CROSSOVER GUIDE
Tumblr media Tumblr media
So crossovers are usually difficult for a lot of people. So, because I tend to think about these things, I thought I would make this comprehensive list/guide to writing crossovers with me. This isn’t anything in concrete, but to get the ball rolling or to help make it easier for both sides to contribute to plotting. It can be hard when you don’t know the fandom.
FNF, or Friday Night Funkin’ is a rhythm based game around rap battles. The Protagonist (known as BF) is trying to prove himself and win over his Girlfriend’s (GF) Dad, and it spirals from there. Gameplay style, it is very similar to Dance Dance Revolution, and the music is a fast pasted dubstyle/chiptune soundtrack.
What a lot of people know FNF for, however is the Mods. Due to it being on Newgrounds, and the creators having it be open asset, many creators are able to make their own “weeks” for players to challenge their skills in. Ruv, and those within Mid Fight Masses, are one of those mods. You can find most of their lore scattered in the scenes of their week, or by going on their official FNF Wiki.
Now, what does this mean for crossovers? I put it under a read more, simply because this is going to be a lot. I’m going to explain crossover verses I have. How I make them, and how YOU could have your character be in the FNF verse quite easily. So go under the read more to continue reading.
Tumblr media
☾ ˚⊹  ❛❛  RUV IN OTHER UNIVERSES
Here are some just ideas that I came up with. While not EVERY interaction will work with these, they are ideas. They’re meant to kick start ideas and inspirations. I do not consider these full verses until I’ve talked with the other mun to make sure that they are okay with it. These can easily be changed, and swapped out for different things. My main goal here is to try and keep Ruv down to his core elements while fitting into a new setting.
Tumblr media
POKEMON- Ruv, along with Sarv run the church- which she has turned into a sanctuary and a Nursery. Much like in Canon, Sarv is supernatural, and Ruv as a run away criminal vowed his life for all eternity to protect her. With church’s going out however, the next next step would be a PokeNursery.           Ruv acts as protector of the Nursery from trainers and groups alike. He usually is seen sitting on the roof, throwing pebbles at kids or passerby’s who irk him in some way. You can always find his Onix, his Low-Key Toxtricity, and his Absol around him or the nursery at all times. He does still have his strength, speed, and other abilities. The “face” he has is also a mask- an attempt to hide his identity as the wanted criminal.
OWL HOUSE- Ruv was a wanted criminal for the longest time. His magic, due to where he was born was a lot less like those around him. He could fit into the covens, but anything he did reflected back on him. Living alone, and learning to just modify himself he became a wanted criminal with a bone breaking shout.            However all of those times soon came to a stop as he met the winged mistress he stays with now. Protecting her (though she is much more than capable of protecting himself) she runs one of the many sects in the area. It isn’t the best building, but it’s out of the way and he usually isn’t spotted. However, unfortunately his past comes back to haunt him. He has no choice, and begrudgingly assists the Guards to repay for his crimes.           Tied to Sarv through magical bonds, he has made it clear to those in charge and to her- should something come between his duty as a guard or her, he would chose her a million times over.
DUCKTALES- Ruv is the petrified remains of the guardian of St. Sarvente. Awoken as the earth was shifted off of it’s orbit and forced into something it’s not, the callous guard is in search of the one he calls Sarvente, whom he claims is the Ruler of Souls and the one he Vowed to Protect. He is, 100% made of stone.
TOONTOWN- Stickfigures aren’t uncommon drawings. One’s as complicated as he and Sarv though usually get a few eyes. Not only that, but video game characters are always treated differently in Toontown. Maybe it’s because of a developers history, or lack there of. The story of Ruvyzvat being a heartless killer however spreads like wild flower, and while he and Sarv will primarily stay at the church... sometimes curiosity becomes too much.
KINGDOM HEARTS- FNF is it’s own world. Keyblade turned into a microphone, Ruv & Sarv are some of the first that would be met. Despite their challenge, they are rather distanced from the troubles of the Darkness and Light and would be semi-good companions.
THE BLACKOUT CLUB- Ruv is a 16. Any day will be the day that a voice will end up taking over, merging with his mind. That’s fine. Much like how Seed-The-Grudge would want, he’ll just get revenge.
HAZBIN HOTEL / HELLUVA BOSS- Ruv ironically enough is one of the few in Hell who does not make him dead. In fact, in some cases that can make him extremely rare. This crossover he IS able to accompany Sarvente into the Underworld, and follow her on her treks through it. While most assume he is a dead sinner, he usually just doesn’t answer. However something about being here and meeting those who reside within the land sets him off. He’s a tad more feral, and a tad more willing to go to the violent answer.
PORTAL- Violence core. What else is there to say? Alternatively, him being a test subject would be fascinating, especially if he was grabbed post-vow. The man is immortal, and therefore would have messed with the tests just by the fact that there is only way for him to die. Death isn’t the worst thing to happen to a man however, and he does still feel pain.
RWBY- Ruv has the ability to manipulate sound waves, specifically his own). Trained with great strength and and even greater speed, his form of combat is continuously dodging as he looks for a weak spot. Weapons of choice are shot gun snow boots, and his sickle that doubles as a short sword.
DOCTOR WHO- Sarv has the ability to create portals. While they are MEANT to be used to intergalactive travel, but instead parallel world travel that in of itself is monumental for a lot of DW plots. Ruv and Sarv can easily go from one universe to the next, however chose to stay in the church. Not to mention Ruv’s skills in target elimination and his abilities would make for some individuals to repurpose him into a weapon. While they have been approached by UNIT on several occasions, they always refuse. However, enough time has passed that they’re starting to notice that the couple in the church aren’t aging...
FNAF- RUVYZVAT and SARVENTE were creations of Fazbear Entertainments as karaoke machines... if we want to go the robot route. If we want to go the normal person route, Ruv was hired by Fazbear’s because it’s one of the few places that doesn’t do a background check, and when he said he wanted to wear a mask as part of the work outfit they were all for it. He runs the karaoke machine though. Stays away from quite literally everyone. While he isn’t the infamous killer of children here, he does have a reputation of his own that he is running from, and that does tend to make him silent.
BATIM- Criminal on the run stumbles into the wastelands formerly known as Bendy’s. Actually enjoys it at first because the cartoon was popular when he was a child. ALT. Stickman drawing of one of the artists come to life. Usually pretends to be Lost One, but when he’s alone with another (Sarvente) they turn into their stickman version selves. Has the ability to jump between 2 and 3 dimensions, but none of the strength or voice.
PSYCHONAUTS- Agent Ruvyzvat, Russian sector. Ruv is working for the Psychonauts in some weird, turning event. Mainly because the sole woman that he trusts and saved his life, Agent Sarvente brought him in. The two are inseparable, and despite Sasha and Nein being infamous for their clinginess, these two take it to a whole knew level. Ruve’s “loud voice” is actually a psychic ability he can use outside of the mind to jumble and confuse thoughts and has no damage on anything physically in the present.
GRAVITY FALLS- Sarvente is a Demon, much like Bill. Where sa Bill desires nothing but chaos and madness, Sarvente is trying her best to keep the world like it is and preserve it’s beauty. Seeing such beauty in a runaway criminal, she and he run to the forests of Oregon. Throughout Weirdmageddon, neither managed to be captured or turned to stone, however Ruv seemingly gained his incredible voice abilities. Now, they live in a semi-collapsed church out in the forest. Sarvente always asking those who come her way to join their church, Ruv is suspicious why such events would happen in such a small town, and is distrusting of most everyone he sees.
DETECTIVE CONAN / KAITOU KID / ANY ANIME OR SERIES LIKE THAT- VERY infamous criminal. Take his “Wanted Dead or Alive” that exists in all other verses, and ramp that up quite a bit. Usually wears a mask whenever he is committing a crime. He does seem to be in it for the fun, though it’s hard to tell with the stoic and expressionless looks. That being said, he does seem to have a very clear goal of what he wants. There are no patterns to where he hits, or what he takes. From wallets of people off the streets, to priceless artifacts. He’ll find where Sarvente went, and how they were able to change her mind in such a way.... how they could corrupt her.
MODERN / NON-EXTREMELY FANTASTICAL- Ruv is honestly a rather down to Earth individual, in some terms. He is untrusting of EVERYTHING, but also due to his own strengths finds little that fear or challenges him. Keep him mind he did make a deal with Lucifer (or his Lucifer) for Immortality for protecting her. While he will always be doing things on his own, a lot of his end goals and motives will come back to her. Without her involvement, he is a walking, talking, machine of destruction with no sway on which side he decides to tear apart.

☾ ˚⊹  ❛❛  GENERAL STOPPING POINTS FOR WANTING TO PLOT
Tumblr media
DON’T KNOW THE WORLD YOU’RE FROM / YOU DON’T KNOW MY LORE. - That’s fine. I can get my hands dirty. I can research. In fact I usually would love nothing more to. I love learning about new fandoms, or new media to get into. You shouldn’t be afraid of that. As for mine- It should take someone less than an hour to get through all of the links I have posted in the RESOURCES tab in my bio. I’ve timed it. So if you have an hour to spare, or 15, or just enough time to read his wiki that’s fine. He’s not from a long running show, or anything like that. You can catch up extremely quick.
WELL WHAT ABOUT A BOOK/COMIC? HOW WOULD HE FIT IN?- If we are talking about Super Hero comics, then it depends. 90% of the time I will just play up his wanted status a lot more, and make it more of a reason for an interaction. You just ran into a man who has killed hundreds. If your muse is a super hero, or a vigilante? Would you let him go? What a villain? That might make a good partner.
TV SHOW? LIVE ACTION?- Again, it depends on the type of show. Superhero follows the same above. If it’s investigative, have him be a witness. Or a falsely accused man who can prove he isn’t the guilty party. Is it more supernatural- well he did make a deal with Lucifer and is an immortal now from it. There are a million ways to spin it. Don’t look at making him a big character. Quite honestly, side characters that you pass in the street have just as much backstory, and as long as there is a plausible chance of interactions then we can work it out from there.
Tumblr media
☾ ˚⊹  ❛❛  GENERAL IDEAS TO BE AWARE OF THAT MIGHT HELP
Tumblr media
HE IS A WANTED CRIMINAL.- Meaning his name Ruvyzvat is known. Despite his crimes going on for decades, he is on the run and never stopped. Several city, state, countries, and possibly nations are looking for him, and looking to take him in.
HE IS ALSO AN IMMORTAL.- While he hasn’t been around forever, and nearly not as long as Sarvente has been, he HAS been around for at least 100 years, give or take some. He can be injured, but even fatal injuries heal in an almost Deadpool like way.
HE ALSO HAS SUPERNATURAL POWERS.- His speed and reflexes alone is not something to be taken lightly. He does train and fight with Lucifer on what used to be a semi-regular basis. He has moved and adapted to be able to make sure no one but the singular person he trusts is able to lay a hand on him. That isn’t to say you can’t catch him off guard. You also have his inhuman strength to worry about, but most of all his voice. His voice which could completely demolish a building, and that isn’t the full strength. He has an amazing control over it, but that certainly isn’t a trait of his to ignore.
HE IS NOT ALWAYS IN THE CHURCH. I MADE SURE OF THAT WHEN I MADE MY BLOG.- He goes on walks, and he goes on errands. He also goes to the Gym on occasion, though not as often. He enjoys walks on the beach far earlier than anyone should be awake at. What I’m saying is running into him OUTSIDE of the church is possible. That being said, meeting him IN the church is your best bet for him warming up quicker. He feels safer in the church, and therefore usually wishes to stay there.
DOESN’T FIT THE STYLE OF CHARACTERS/WORLD? - If he doesn’t fit, then I can work to adapt him into something that WOULD fit. What characteristics about him doesn’t work. This is when I would need plotting help. If, lets say it was an all animal world, we can talk about what he is, his traits, and other such things. I am always happy to not use my icons- I just like to because I think they’re neat and I worked hard on them.
WHAT WOULD HE BE DOING?- Any number of things. He likes throwing pebbles at people. He mainly guards and protects Sarvente and her things, but I know we’re talking besides this. He cannot cook, but he does actually sew, and he does read quite a bit. Working on his fist to fist fighting would be a big one. He likes secluded areas, which especially work for explorer’s and people who walk off the beaten path.
IS THERE ANYWHERE HE COULDN’T BE?- He wouldn’t be at a bar. Ruv doesn’t drink, at all. I also don’t see him at any parties unless Sarv dragged him to them. Writing starters or plotting around those are perfectly fine, but do not expect his muse to be comfortable while he’s there.
HE SEEMS OVERPOWERED.- At times, he certainly can be, but only when he feels it’s necessary. He doesn’t flaunt his abilities, and most he has are out of self preservation. If you as a mun are worried about him and what he can do, the best thing you can do is read my information, look into his wiki, and then come and talk to me. Ruv isn’t someone who will 100% abuse what abilities he has, especially since now he is trying his best to be better for her since it makes her happy.
Tumblr media
☾ ˚⊹  ❛❛  GENERAL IDEAS TO HAVE YOUR CHARACTERS IN HIS UNIVERSE
Tumblr media
LOCATIONS?- The Church, the back alleys, the karaoke bar (that primarily does rap battles), the Alternate dimension that Sarv made so that he can be loud and not retrain his voice.
MOTIVATIONS?- If your muse is in the FNF world, then be ready for some sick beats to be dropped. Your muse could be rescuing someone from the BBEG and going through the slew of minions to sing against. There’s always the alternative side of this of “what the hell is going on?”
MY CHARACTER ISN’T FROM THERE, SO THEY WOULDN’T FIT IN.- Well I do have a “main” verse which replaces raps with fists. Looking for someone important to them, in the search of a deep and hidden artifact within the search, the rumors of a man born 100 years ago- theres a lot to be found in the library if you looked.
WHAT DOES THE FNF WORLD CONSIST OF?- It consists of Demon Daddies, Singing Skeletons and Pumpkins, Tankmen, a Demonic Lemon Demon, Sentient Video Game Characters, and if you take the mods in you also have Demon, Angels, Ghosts, Deadly Ex’s, Bomb Headed Men-- I promise your character will fit in at the end of the day.
ISN’T HE EXTREMELY AGGRESSIVE AND HARD TO TALK TO?- He can be. He talks in very short sentences, however I do my best to give my reply enough that you can reply to. Actions, and I chose to be very descriptive with his expressions in this case. Ruv spend many years alone, and sometimes with him, actions speak louder than words. When you or your muse figure that out is up to you.
WELL WE CAN’T DO AN ENTIRE THREAD IN A CHURCH.- I never said we had to. He is more than happy to leave the church should he want, and should there be a reason. Usually, (despite what it seems) he does like helping people, so you can lure him out that way ;)

So, I looked through a BUNCH of my files and found out that I have a ton of different interesting sketches. Like, really, A TON. And most of them look pretty finished and cool, so, I think, I will post them too? Or I will combine them in one picture, like this one, and post after that - we’ll see.  Today I’ve finally finished psychonauts (FUCKING MEAT CIRCUS) and after a lot of emotions and mourning about me, who doesn’t have anything to play in anymore, I decided to look through some concept arts that I missed due following the plot and not finishing every level with 100% result. And I found the old variations of Raz - plus, I remembered that Sasha sees Raz as the younger version of himself. So, that gave me some thoughts for age-swap au and headcanons about Sasha, being a going-where-he-should-not-go-and-breaking-all-the-rules-because-who-even-need-them-but-still-a-kind-hearted-genius psychic kid. And after Sasha came other adults as kids and kids as adults. Idk if I will draw anything about this au, so, again, we’ll see.

Okay I need to know all about Psychonauts Fslls
An ask? I'll take it!
Admittedly I haven't thought much about this AU lately, but have everything that comes to mind: (Also, to avoid confusion, Ford Pines and Ford Cruller will be referred to as Ford P and Ford C, respectively)
Gideon Gleeful's amulet was made of Psitanium, based on Ford C's description of the mineral "making psychics more psychic, but also making unstable people more... unstable". Gideon's dad put him on TV as a newborn, so he was already a little unstable. :V
The Pineses and the Aquatos share a common ancestor - Tanya Romanoff, Caryn Pines' mother, who was also a literal fortune-teller that ran with the circus. Fled to America from Grulovia with her husband back in the 20s when the Gzar at the time blamed the Russian Revolution on psychics and tried to have them all rounded up.
Caryn's sister Shprintze returned to Grulovia later to marry circus ringmaster Angelo Aquato, had a son called Lazarus, got divorced and went back to America (whereupon she married and got divorced two more times, but that's another story). Tanya had some latent psychic abilities that she passed down to her descendants, but not nearly as strong as the Galochios'. The majority of them never even realized they had psychic potential at all.
(Brief sidenote - in this AU, the Deluge of Grulovia happened 30 years before the events of Psychonauts, not 20. TBH it just makes more sense to me that way, given the ages of the characters involved and the events that took place during that time gap, and here it has the added bonus of coinciding roughly with Ford P's disastrous portal test. :V)
In the 'present', Dipper Pines & Razputin Aquato, distant cousins, know each other over the internet, whenever Raz can access a computer. They basically never get to see each other in person, for obvious reasons. They mostly swap True Psychic Tales theories and trivia and argue over whether or not magic is real. After Weirdmageddon, Dipper told Raz all about it; Raz's theory was that there was an undocumented Psilirum deposit underneath Gravity Falls that made the town suffer mass hallucinations, and that Bill Cipher was the disembodied astral projection of a powerful psychic with delusions of Godhood.
Mabel Pines' latent powers began to emerge thanks to her contact with Gideon's amulet, combined with being trapped in Cipher's dream-bubble leaving a certain mark on her. Dipper first thought to call Cousin Raz about it after the cops came to their door to complain that someone had been telepathically broadcasting Sevral Timez music all over the neighbourhood. Mabel soon has to go to the Motherlobe when the implications of her psychic awakening come to light. Raz's fellow interns aren't too thrilled about another barely-a-teenager 'psychic curiosity' barging in (and by 'fellow interns' I mean Norma; Gisu and Sam are more like 'finally, I have found my people'). Dipper also gets to meet Raz's family - he and Dion instantly hate each other. Much friendliness and 'friendliness' all around. :V
They later find out that Stan hung around the Psychic Six and helped raise money for them, putting his conmanship to good use. He wasn't considered a proper member of the group, chiefly because his own psychic powers were pretty weak (he could throw a mean Confusion Grenade, though), he didn't live in Green Needle Gulch with the rest of them and had zero interest in participating in their various experiments. He also avoided Otto Mentallis as much as possible (reminded him too much of Ford P, what with his experiments that tend to blow up in his face), and don't even get him started on 'those two hippies that talk to plants'. By contrast, Cassie O'Pia basically became his therapist for a few months; she taught him all about Projection and how he's unwittingly become a master of it, with how many archetypes he has. Unfortunately he had to cut off all contact with them as part of the whole 'faking his death' thing.
Also, at some point, this dialogue happens:
Mabel Pines: "So yeah, an' he kinda worshipped Ford, I guess, but then the whole almost-apocalypse thing happened an' I guess he's looked back at that time an' he's realized ol' Fordy's made some kinda bad decisions an' he might be a doofus? Just a little? So yeah, that's my epic conclusion to my epic mental check-up!"
Hollis Forsythe: "...I'm sorry, you were talking too fast. Were you talking about Mason Pines or Razputin Aquato?"

Intern Interactions (Family Swap AU
[First post] [Second post] [Third post] [Fourth post] [Fifth post] [Sixth post] [Seventh Post] [Eighth post]
So, moving on to Psychonauts 2 for the family swap AU, let's talk about how this firecracker of a gal would interact with the big kids on the block.
Frazie Aquato (Teacher's Assistant) - Hollis Forsythe's intern teacher's assistant. Frazie is interested to learn about this "one-in-a-million brain" and is surprised to see one so young. She's been to Camp Whispering Rock, and usually only legacy psychics are into the idea of joining the Psychonauts and determined enough to work. Zanotto is not a name she's familiar with. Using clairvoyance on Frazie leads to many results during the story. First a Tiger Lily flower, then a lit Firework after the casino mission, then a mole with pigtails after speaking to Augustus, and post-game shows Lili in her dress, hugging a bouquet of Marigolds and Lilies.
Norma Natividad - Norma has the worst relationship with Lili compared to all the other Interns, setting up a hazing ritual that's... pulled back from the intesity of Raz's hazing (Raz's hazing would identify as "violent" hazing. Lili goes through "subtle" hazing). She is ready to fight Norma and tries to do so, but with so many adults already against Lili and Milla preoccupied, she has to swallow her pride. "It's just like school all over again." "Keep your head down. Keep your voice down. Fire down." "Grr, I wanna burn something!" are common phrases that Lili will mutter after talking with Norma. Clairvoyance use leads to seeing Lili as first dirty with flies buzzing around her, to a mole with pigtails after the casino mission.
Lizzie Natividad - Lizzie usually sides with her sister and takes to bullying Lili. Though, throughout the game if you're able to find Lizzie she ends up nicer to Lili, mainly because Lili has Lizzie's aesthetic, but reminds Lizzie a lot of Norma when the two were younger. Including Lili burning the rope that catches her before Norma can come out of the brush. Lizzie sees Lili at first the same way many of the interns do, however, using Clairvoyance on her during the time Lili has to go grab bees for Compton, she will look like Norma did at Lili's age.
Gisu - Gisu and Norma have a similar advantage: They're in a relationship with the older Aquato kids. So Lili can't really do things around them unless she wants to set off a chain reaction to upset Raz. The Aquatos and whoever they accept into their family is very tight and while Raz loves Lili and "Augustus" trusts her, she's not in that tight family circle yet and some interactions with Gisu clearly show that.
Morris - Lili's and Morris's relationship are actually closer than Raz and Morris. If barely. Lili remembers doing musicals and doing routines to the latest music for her few gymnastic routines she learned. She likes the idea of music being played around the Motherlobe, as she can't help but hear so many voices both in the Motherlobe and in the Questionable Area? There's even a mission to set up a radio in the mines to see if there's a connection there. And well... Lili shows much calmer fidgits when listening to Morris's music, doing some stretches that she learned.
Sam Boole - Lili considers herself friends with Dogan and tries to be friends with Sam. Sam and Lili have a similar relationship to Raz and Sam in the games (yes this does include the pancakes scene).
Adam - Lili's and Adam's relationship is very similar to the canon relationship between Raz and Adam. Albeit, the fanon sibling relationship may not be as strong.

Hmm... Other than the obvious, I really like Maloof and Mikhail, just this terrifying mafia duo. Either of them could... potentially be Edgar. I'm mostly thinking of Mikhail constantly searching for that bear (Edgar's bull) and Maloof having a rough time with bullies could translate well into Edgar being unable to move on from highschool. Idk
Sorry I took ages to get to this, when I was going to answer I got the opportunity to infodump about Helmut and that took an entire hour.
Anyway, one of the kids I really wanted to include was Maloof (and Mikhail) so I'm glad you suggested that!
I do like your idea, it works especially with Mikhail and the bear. I also got another idea as I answered this, if Maloof swaps with Hollis and becomes the Second Head, that could also work. All the funds the Psychonauts are getting is illegal.
Also some other ideas I forgot to mention was that if Bobby is Loboto, then Chloe can switch with Sheegor. But her pet fish isn't being held hostage by Bobby, she's sticking around because she's like "I can fix him" at Bobby.
So now I have various ideas to pick from!! Thanks!!
