Not only did I take the time to redraw every last piece of character art in the Residents section to make them all a little nicer and more consistent, I added a whopping 16 new characters to the three different Zones, so check them out! (The main Residents page hasn't been updated yet with new sprites to show the added characters, but they are on the pages themselves.)

I am a huge fan of spectrobes. Yeah it’s a bummer that I get the “what’s Spectrobes” or “never heard of it” but I get ecstatic when I find that rare fellow fan. But I’m getting off topic, my main point of this post.

I still get excited at fanarts, fanfictions, anything Spectrobes, and today I was just googling stuff for kicks aaaaand

THERE WAS A FRICKING MANGA!!!

I’ve known they had books, I got them (and sad book 4 never got released) BUT A MANGA. I can’t tell you how happy I am to find this. I now have a mission. I can understand a lick of this at all. But you know somewhere out there SOMEONE has bought this manga and translated it. AND IM GONNA FIND IT

1/4 Update: ((I should be sleeping but that can wait for a moment)) so apparently the manga was from a magazine. 3 chapters, 10 pages each, no real English translated pages....it might be a dumb idea but I'm getting Google translate involve and I might translate these pages myself when I have the time

Komainu is always there for you for day 18! The mascot and consistent starter of each game, Komainu is a solid little guy. In my runs, I never evolved mine. A cute little fella who loves those curly ears being pet can turn into an absolute monster in the final evolution-- thing is though, I always end up finding this guy sort of late game? Or at least when you're 60% through the game.

Oh and have this cursed WIP shot of when I was drawing the eyes, I was cackling for a good 20 minutes because this is almost exactly what one of my dogs looks like when you show a treat. Buggy eyes and everything-

Pit: Woah! Lady Palutena, that's Rayman! Palutena: Right you are, Pit! Rayman hails from the Glade of Dreams, and is best known for his carefree attitude! He really loves sleeping and taking naps, and he can play harmonica and ukelele. Viridi: So, he's just some lazy bum? Pit: How dare you! Rayman's an icon! Viridi: Okay, then. If you know so much about Rayman, tell me something he can do in a fight. Pit: The Telescopic Punch! He can send his fists flying forward! Viridi: He doesn't have arms. That just sounds like a regular punch from him. Pit: Well, he can use his hair as a helicopter! Viridi: Is he Dixie Kong? Try again. Pit: That grimace! That awful grimace! Viridi: ...Okay, that is a little intimidating. How do you plan to fight it? Pit: I'm... Still working on that.

Pit: That guy's bossing around some monsters! They're... Kinda cute? Viridi: We need to work out your definition of cute someday. Palutena: That's Rallen, a junior officer of the Nanairo Planetary Patrol! One day, he was investigating a crashed object on the planet Daichi, when he came across a device that allows him to store and command... Spectrobes! Pit: Woah! That's so cool! Viridi: ...What exactly IS a Spectrobe? Palutena: Oh, they're just an extinct race of creatures associated with the light that are the only counter to the Krawl, creatures of darkness. Viridi: Oh, so it's basically how the Dream Eaters work with Sora. Palutena: How do you know what that is? Pit: Um, Lady Palutena? Any advice on fighting Rallen? Palutena: Oh! Right. Well, Pit, Rallen's special attacks will differ if he's fighting with either Zozane, the yellow one, and Spikan, the green one. However, that doesn't mean you can discount Rallen himself! Be sure to pay attention to which one is fighting with him, and react accordingly! Here's a tip: Spikan's main weakness is his lack of range!

As I mentioned in a previous post I was going to translate the Spectrobes manga pages I found. It’ll take time cause: I got work, I’m using google translate so the translations are not spot on, but it’s enough to get me close to something so I may so my own interpretations (Maybe a heck of a lot cause holy heck when I started translating it was…yikes for some things). ANYWAY. I’ll post them here when they are done. Either page by page or reblog this post with the each new page, don’t know I’ll keep y’all posted.
