since requests are open i figured id come and request something!! how would the assassins (altair, ezio, connor, arno, and jacob) react to the reader being extremely sick? how would they take care of the reader? would they be scared of catching the sickness? etc etc. ❤️

☾ ⋆ ﾟ𝐌𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 / 𝐑𝐔𝐋𝐄𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄𝐒: yeee, uni's been fine! i'm done until september now so all I really have to do is pray I've passed all my modules (looking at you, spanish and latin american culture and italian history) and do my summer reading for next year's modules <3 and i make sure to never overwork myself on my blog! i really like what i do here anyway so i can manage lots of writing hehe 𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐒: altaïr, ezio, connor, arno, jacob 𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒: very slight angst in Jacob's part

♡ Altaïr takes a break from his work to look after you. When he knows you'll do alright on your own for a while, he'll go out to train for a few hours to stay in shape but that and cooking meals for you are the only times he'll be leaving your side.

♡ he'll do everything he can to keep your temperature normal whether it's tenderly wiping down your body with a cool, damp cloth while another is folded over your forehead or he's having to bundle you up with blankets while he spoon feeds you, he'll stay by your side to keep you company and will be reading books while you rest.

♡ Ezio brings in whatever doctors he can find to look after you but he'll be hovering around in the meantime to make sure they're treating you well and being careful (he'll honestly treat you like you're made of glass).

♡ he'll stay by your side for as long as possible and even if he has to leave you in Claudia's or a doctor's care for the day, he's in the kitchen in the evening cooking meals that Maria taught him to make and then sitting on the edge of your bed to feed them to you while he asks how you've been and he tells you about his day.

♡ Ratonhnhaké:ton will treat you himself for as much is in his ability to before he goes into town to call out a doctor to see you. He'll diligently follow any perscriptions that you're given and he'll put almost everything on hold to look after you. He grew up without a father, he lost his mother and his whole village - he's not going to lose you too.

♡ he'll make sure you get enough fresh air, enough water, enough to eat. He'll be making herbal concoctions for you to help you heal faster. He just wants to see you better again.

♡ he calls in the best doctors he can right away. He doesn't want to leave your side and he'll take some time away from the brotherhood is he has to. He'll cook for you, light meals like soups or stews that are easier for you to eat in your current state.

♡ he'll read to you but he keeps his distance a little. He doesn't want the both of you to get sick because then he won't be able to look after you.

♡ Jacob's never really been good at the caretaker role. Even when he was younger and Evie was ill, their father was the one to look after her while he was just left to his own devices. Jacob would always notice that he didn't receive the same level of emotional care from his father when he fell ill though.

♡ so, he calls in a doctor/nurse and follows all the instructions they give him to look after you. He doesn't care if he gets ill too, he'll cuddle with you and chat with you and he'll even sing quietly to you while cooling your forehead with a damp cloth or bundling you up in blankets. He'll basically care for you in every way he's advised and then in every way he noticed Evie got but he didn't from their father but he always wanted. He doesn't want you to feel the way he did.

Assassins Creed -Ratonhnaké:ton // Connor Kenway sketch

It has been one year to the day, when evil reminded of its existence in Europe again. But this is not going to be remembered as day of terror, but day of freedom as it is a day, when another neighbor of the evil gained its independence. Just like evil failed then, it is going to fail again We have to believe in victory. Darkness cannot win. Happy independence day tiny Estonia. Being so close to the evil and war has changed me, people around me. Here we suddenly have less time for pseudo problems, real world did catch up with us. Universe indeed has a grim sense of humor.

I am not sad today ... Evil is not going to win. Not in this saga. - Connor sketch and variants. I had this mental image of where instead killing his father. They go for boozing and sort out their issues outside the "masters" of their factions and find blood is thicker than water and some old geezers opinions.

Just thought of this story idea. AltDes modern-zombie apocalypse-soulmate-a/b/o AU where Altair, Ezio and Ratonhnaké:ton are surviving together and they find Desmond purely by accident when looking for supplies because he went and got himself trapped in a bear trap. And by trapped, I mean he tripped and fell shoulder first onto the bear trap and is incapable of freeing himself. And decided his life is fucked enough he was planning on just dying there. And two days later Altair shows up. #tropes

Does that #tropes mean you want to add as many tropes to this one as possible because I’m game.

Alright…

Let’s see how many a/b/o and zombie apocalypse tropes we can add to this one:

Of course, since this is meant to be a/b/o, the reason why Altaïr was able to find him is because Desmond’s heat was starting and his body reacted to it.

They have heat sex… after Altaïr helps Desmond get out of the bear trap, of course. I guess we can have a bit of frottage and groping while Desmond is stuck in a bear rap. But any other sexual acts must be done after Desmond’s wound gets bandaged.

This gives us an excuse for an “I told you to strip because I need to see the wound but you thought I wanted to see you naked… which I also want to see.” scene.

Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton finally caught up to them and they decide to provide security while the two are busy ‘riding’ Desmond’s heat. A short POV of them could be used to add in the following tropes:

Obligatory tragic backstory before the zombie apocalypse

A brief overview of the kind of zombie we’re dealing with (slow or fast? Can see or relies on hearing? Only humans or will there be zombie animals?)

Heat sex would include… well… lots of sex and other heat related sex tags

Of course, they realized that the reason why Altaïr lost his composure with Desmond’s heat is because, surprise surprise, they’re mated pairs (aka the a/b/o equivalent of soulmates).

The trope-est setup we can do is make this a road trip and, say, Desmond was trying to get to the Farm because he believes that, if anyone could survive a zombie apocalypse, it would be the goddamn Farm. Altaïr is game because it’s what his mate wants. Oh, and also, they have heard of the Farm before and the rumor does suggest that it’s a safe haven but no one knows the location so they’re definitely interested.

They absolutely have someone they only have contact with thru their radio who provides them with information. This could be Edward or maybe Clay.

Another possible trope: the dude with the radio playing tunes and giving updates (this could be Edward, Clay or even Shaun/Rebecca)

The remains of the government/military are assholes because that’s the law of zombie apocalypse (and any dystopian apocalypse in general). These guys can be the Templar characters.

Ezio and Ratonhnhaké:ton act as protective brother figures toward Desmond (and they act like brothers with Altaïr as well) with Ezio being the cool flirty older brother type and Ratonhnhaké:ton being the quiet but reliable younger brother type.

There will a shopping montage, ofc, and that’s a staple in zombie apocalypse stories.

In this shopping montage, Desmond gets a pregnancy test and, surprise surprise, he’s pregnant.

Since we’re going for as many tropes as possible, the third act will be a separation brought by a horde of zombies. Bonus points if one of them is presumed to be dead.

The reunion will, of course, happen on the Farm.

Now, the cliche sad story would be that the Farm is abandoned BUT it can be fortified easily to give a sense of hope. The cliche happy story would be that the Farm is filled with people who help our main characters. (The latter would give us an excuse for someone to punch Bill… or, you know, Bill could be one of the zombies that will be killed during the separation sequence)

The epilogue will have their kid being cute and adorable. For more tropes (babies ever after), end the story by saying that they’re expecting another child already.

Here's another zombie apocalypse AU idea that's more along the line of "Desmond is immune because he's the universe's favorite chewtoy"

Ubisoft Connected Timeline with explanations

(Ones with no explanations were because of no references/similarities to other games, I have already covered them on another game, or weren’t released when Ubisoft referenced their other games like crazy)

10,000 BCE

- Far Cry Primal: Takkar has similar abilities commonly shared by Assassins such as his Hunter Vision which is similar to Eagle Vision and his connection to animals especially his Owl similar to bird companions owned by Bayek, Kassandra, and Eivor. The vision Takkar has that names him the Beast Master is similar to the vision that Juno gives Ratonhnaké:ton in Assassin’s Creed 3. There are two instances of a Leap of Faith but granted one was a joke and performed by Urki the ancestor of Hurk who’s very similar. Maybe Hurk’s a Sage? Joking I won’t actually believe that unless another one of his ancestors/descendants is exactly like him.

431 BC

- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey: The Third and Fourth Echelon is mentioned by Layla when interacting with Multi-Vision Goggles. This is a BIG STRETCH but I feel like something similar to the Olympos Project is what causes the mutations of the literal Apples Of Eden in Far Cry New Dawn. Not saying it IS the Olympos Project but it’s the best way to explain it through the lore.

- Assassin’s Creed Origins (49-43 BC): Security footage of Aiden Pearce’s involvement in the disappearance of Olivier Garneau from Watch_Dogs is shown on Layla’s computer.

- Assassin’s Creed Rogue (1752-1760): This is kinda connecting a game from the same series but the Headless Horseman that appears in Rogue and also Assassin’s Creed 3 could be similar to the Olympos Project. I’m probably gonna pull Olympos Project out of my ass if anything supernatural shows up.

- Assassin’s Creed 3 (1754-1783): The Tyranny of King Washington introduces the Apple of Eden’s ability of creating false memories. In this connected universe, all non canon DLCs and games are alternate universe that can be glimpsed through the Apple of Eden almost as if you experienced it.

The reason these scientists were probably there was to search for the compass and Silver Dragon knife that may have been Isu related. The compass is very similar to the Grand Temple Key from Assassin’s Creed 3 but bigger and the Silver Dragon is said to have special abilities so it could possibly be apart of the Sword of Eden family.

- Far Cry 4: The Lost Letters all have Templar seals. The ending that I personally would have canon to the timeline is that Ajay lets Pagan live and kills Sabal first then kills Amita after their encounter at the end of the game. Also unrelated to timeline purposes but the Conner theme (I think it’s that theme) plays in the game when meeting Longinus (I think).

- Rainbow Six Siege: On the map Bank, companies from Watch_Dogs appear on the ticket, a billboard for a bar from Watch_Dogs called Brewsed Up, and reused Graffiti from Watch_Dogs. On the map, Fortress there is a drawing of Bayek and Senu. On the map House, a poster for Gym Center, a company in Watch_Dogs, appears. On the map Presidential Plane, signs for a bar from Watch_Dogs Miller’s Rail can be seen. On the map Skyscraper, the armor of a Samurai on display has the symbol of the Assassins, possibly once owned by one. On the map Theme Park, arcade cabinets of Blood Dragon appear. On the map Villa, there’s a haystack and the cries of an Eagle, you can see an Assassin on a tower in the distance, the fountain has the symbol of the Assassins, it is possible that the Villa was once owned by Assassins, there’s a statue from Watch_Dogs 2 in the Statuary Room (tell me if it’s a historical statue because I wouldn’t know). Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell appears as an Operator.

2016

- Watch_Dogs 2: Blood Dragon arcade cabinets are in the Hackerspace. The Erudito symbol from Assassin’s Creed can appear on a movie poster called Disbeliever with the Assassin Owen Myers on it (I don’t know about how this could fit in canon considering Watch_Dogs 2 and the story referenced are during the same year). Also to explain the existence of Ubisoft on this games is that Ubisoft exists as a gaming company that works with Abstergo Entertainment which is how some of the games can exist in universe. Games I specifically would say are canon are ones featured in Ubisoft locations, Far Cry as mentioned by the Far Cry Experience, and Assassin’s Creed because of Abstergo. Games that I wouldn’t considered canon are Watch_Dogs, The Crew, and The Division possibly others.

2018

- Far Cry 5: Faith Seed mentions a Leap of Faith but this is a major stretch. A note from Galina Voronina, a modern Assassin, is found in Patriot Acts. ANNE mentions “Those Who Came Before” in the final mission of the Lost on Mars DLC. The Lost on Mars DLC is an alternate universe where Nick Rye and Hurk Drubman Jr are sent to Mars being glimpsed by an Apple of Eden same with the ending of the game. In this timeline Joseph Seed is successfully arrested. Also Clutch Nixon ending up on Mars still happens. In this timeline, after his last stunt he ends up in an underwater cave which leads to an Isu temple which teleports him to ANNE’s base on Mars. Oh yeah I think ANNE would be an AI made by Isu because there’s really no other explanation. Why are they on Mars? I don’t know I can only explain with random bullshit so much. This temple is also what I use to explain the existence of Jackalopes in Hope County since it’s damaged and radiating into Hope County. Also I know most of the stuff I just said was completely fabricated by me but I have to explain things through lore somehow.

- The Division: The Division is an alternate universe where a virus is spread through money on Black Friday in New York City being glimpsed into by an Apple of Eden.

- The Crew 2: Companies from Watch_Dogs 2, such as WKZ News, Eat Bushimura, Staroger Coffee Everyzon, Chaebung Electronics, Arabian Airways, and Rocktyre, all appear around the map.

2019

- The Division 2: Blood Dragon arcade cabinets are around the game. The spacesuits from Lost on Mars appear in the game. Marius Jäger Streicher from Rainbow Six Siege has his name appear in a museum plane.

- Ghost Recon Wildlands: Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell appears in a mission. A viewpoint fit with a haystack and Eagle can be found. Gonna use the ghost child that appears to explain how literal ghosts fit into the lore. So literal ghosts do exist in this universe but I wouldn’t call it supernatural. Can I explain through science? No but it’s not supernatural. Since the man William Robert Woodman was able to still exist after death and people who were not related to him could sense his presence I consider him an actual ghost. So ghosts that appear in other games are actual ghosts and you could explain being able to actually see them with dormant Eagle Vision but I don’t know.

2020

- Ghost Recon EndWar: EndWar is an alternate universe where World War III starts being glimpsed by an Apple of Eden.

2021

- Far Cry 6: The leap of faith appears in Far Cry 6 but it isn’t a successful one. The ghost of a murderer appears. A part of the Spear of Leonidas and two Hidden Blades have been listed as items acquired by the Yaran military. It’s listed that an item similar to the Apple of Eden is to be thrown away. There’s a letter from DedSec asking the Yaran people to join up. The Far Cry villain DLCs being trapped inside the mind of Vaas, Pagan, and Joseph and haunted by their past is similar to what Aiden Pearce experienced in the Bloodline DLC.

2022

- Rainbow Six Extraction: Extraction is an alternate universe where the original alien outbreak from 2018 wasn’t stopped and spread being glimpsed by an Apple of Eden.

2024

- Ghost Recon Future Soldier

2025

- Ghost Recon Breakpoint: There’s crossover missions with Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six Operators from Rainbow Six Siege.

2029

- Watch_Dogs Legion: Some Hitmen’s bios will say they are looking for descendants of Jacob Frye from Syndicate. In the Assassin’s Creed crossover, Darcy Clarkson and her brother Lucas Clarkson are descendants of Jacob and Evie Frye. Operators can perform a leap of faith in one of the missions. Many artifacts from Syndicate appear such as the hidden cane knife, the mask Jacob used at the theater, and a hidden blade. Abstergo appears on stock market boards (or whatever they’re called).

2034

- Ghost Recon Phantoms: It’s implied Abstergo sells weapons in the Assassin’s Creed item pack.

2035

- Far Cry New Dawn: New Dawn is an alternate universe where the world ends due to a nuclear war being glimpsed by an Apple of Eden. The Isu, that I basically made up to explain shit, caused the Eden tree that sprouts the Apples. It also caused the monstrous animals to look like what they do mixed with nuclear radiation. You can find Fourth Echelon’s crashed C-147B Paladin from Splinter Cell, SHADOWNET, notes from Sam Fisher, and Fisher’s outfit.

- For Honor: For Honor is an alternate universe where a global natural disaster wrecked the world and caused a 1000 year war between Knights, Vikings, and Samurais being glimpses by an Apple of Eden. How this also exists as a game in the main timeline to me is that Abstergo saw this timeline from an Apple of Eden and gave the idea to Ubisoft since we know Abstergo Entertainment is involved because of the Assassin’s Creed event. A flag with The Division logo can be found and since this game technically takes place in the 22nd century I can probably chalk this up as this universes version of The Division.

Modern!au where Arno still works at the Café théâtre, also a popular place for his friends to regularly hang out. Small Gestures: Connor x Reader

Since I’m well into the first half of Christmas break, my draft is getting a sweep. Because why not?

Alignment: Romantic fluff

Naivety.

"You really do love him." a masculine voice interrupted your thoughts, and you pause from thinking about other words to refer to Connor.

"You make it sound like a phenomenon." you chuckle, giving Big Dave a fleeting e/c glance as you continue to sharpen the tomahawk's blade, "I sympathize with Connor, and as much as I can, I want to keep him from undesirable situations. Is that a bad thing?"

The blacksmith's incredulous eyes bore into your skull as you stop the machine and examine the weapon. When you notice him, you grew confused, "What?"

"No!" Dave firmly stated, "That doesn't just happen! Don't try to fool me, lass, I wasn't born yesterday. I know a smitten look when I see it."

You roll your eyes, ignoring the blush you sensed rising to your cheeks. It's not that you didn't trust Dave to hide your not-so-secret affections for Connor (along with perhaps half the Homestead since the first person you informed is Myriam), but the two men spend frequent time together and it might get out by chance. You certainly weren't going to jeopardize your friendship with the assassin for something you're not even sure you can have.

"Perhaps we have been out here too long." you continue to tease, gesturing to your snowy surroundings, "The cold might be getting to you."

"Y/n...!" he huffed, raising a finger. However, before he could scold you, footsteps on snow entered your ears, and you noticed the new arrival first.

"There you are!" Connor sighs, relieved, "I've been looking for... my tomahawk!" his eyes widen, sighting the weapon in your hand.

Defiantly fighting back the blush and annoyance you felt from Dave's prying stare, you let him approach before giving it to his awaiting hands, "If a next time does happen, don’t leave that thing lying around. Since I was well into sharpening weapons anyway, I took the trouble of including yours." you smile, "I hope you don't mind."

He did. Connor almost flipped the whole house upside down in search of the cursed thing to carve you the arrows you want... but would he truly make you lose that smile on your face? Can he fight against the mesmerizing sight of the snow falling on your h/c hair and clothing, when right now he felt the need to shelter you before you become ill? Does he have the necessary ability to be crossed with you?

"You do realize the risk you have taken in doing this." he instead reprimanded, making your smile wider.

"And the risk I've avoided? Yes, Ratonhnaké:ton, I do." you walk back to the shed, only then realizing that Dave is now sitting by the fire, an eyebrow raised at you.

As the male assassin leaves you two, your friend rolls his eyes, tossing a deformed sword to you, "Already saying yes to the proposal he isn't doing yet, huh?"

"Shut your gob."
