i think the whole cringe is dead, radical sincerity, depth of genuine emotion, earnest effort, and unironic love thing that tumblr has going on the past few years has transformed my outlook on things and changed me for the better. but it does mean that now the people i know irl will give me strange looks for being too sappy or too poetic or too dedicated or too excited about about something because they're still stuck in their "well i only like this ironically" phase. guess that's their problem tho not mine <3

So Wild West of The Heart is just the first of a kind of series of queer historical fiction novellas that I plan to write and publish after I finding Gaea and WWTH. And I felt compelled to share some of the concepts for them, in the order of when I want to write and release them.

Love By The Nile: a forbidden lesbian drama romance set in Ancient Egypt.

To Be Queen: inspired slightly by my first writing project, Willette, this will be a sapphic story set in the Middle Ages where Women are the ones in power.

Unnamed: a story set in a prehistoric/ice age/Cenozoic village about a polyamorous throuple and their various comedic shenanigans.

Unnamed: set in AD 1209 centered on a teenage girl living in Montezuma castle AZ, who is struggling to figure out why she doesn’t feel attracted to anyone in anyway

Unnamed: a slice of life story about a genderfluid person discovering themselves in the Neolithic age. This is the least fleshed out one of them all.

#I think the point of these would be to help people learn about history AND queerness all in one #and also #I love history but everytime I visit some ancient civilization place or read about it #it’s so hard to imagine *people* #humans who felt things and loved and laughed and cried #and I think these books would help others really realize that people from history #weren’t super different from us #and they were probably queer as FUCK #lgbtq #historical fiction #queer historical fiction #I bet these are gonna be so fun to write and research 🤩
