Cryptid of the Day: Beast of Bodalog

Description: Between September to December of 1988, sheep in the town of Rhayader, Wales were attacked and killed by a mystery mauler, dubbed the Beast of Bodalog. It happened in daylight, and the method of killing was with a single bite to the sternum. Theories range from Alien Big Cats, to feral dogs, to giant river otters.

I couldn't believe it, when I saw this article. In September 2023, I attempted a trip to Snowdonia, that went wrong on so many levels. We never made there, but we did end up in the moors around Rhayader, and I noticed this track - thinking it was just a farmer's trail or something like that. I just can't believe I have first hand experience with something so very specific.
