OBON ODORI

August 19th @ 8PM EST - 12AM EST [Balmung] Doman Enclave

Together we remember and celebrate our ancestors and dearly departed on this, the night of the Obon Odori. Come together with friends, and loved ones for a night of remembrance, partaking in our open market, story telling, lantern construction, and ritual blessings before we send the lanterns down the river in a beautiful promenade as they lead our loved ones back to their resting place.

We start off with our opening ceremony after which you can enjoy local vendors and lantern construction. Once open market closes we will have honored guests sharing stories before the Bon dance begins. With lanterns in hand we head to the river to set them afloat and bid our ancestors goodbye until next time.

We are currently looking for storytellers, fortune tellers, vendors, including lantern construction.

700 followers! And... A Rapture Ball~!

I feel really emotional about this. It's been over a year that I have been running this blog, and I still remember whenever I first hit 100 followers. I really want to thank you all so much for your support.

Even if I have had a small hiatus for this past month and a half due to school, you all have been so patient for me. Thank you all so much.

I want to take the time to say that I am so thankful for all of you. I know that I have had some rough patches, and you all have stuck around with me throughout it all. And I am so appreciative for your love and support for me and my silly headcanons and events.

To celebrate my college graduation and my 700 followers, I will plan an event on 5/6.

Let's throw A Rapture Ball!

@i-mybrunettelady and I will be co-hosting (due to the votes on location) a costume party on the 15th! Get your costume together! If you don't know where Durgar's Homestead is, there's a map screenshot below with the name of the closest waypoint highlighted.

When you join the squad, there will be a link to a discord for costume references! You're free to join to see everyone's costume, just be sure to quickly change your nickname to your character's name. This discord will be deleted once the party is over.

rpc prom event: Sunday May, 28th!

What is this?

This is an Open tumblr RP event for any fandom and rpc, OC, and crossover characters to enjoy and attend a dashboard roleplay event. If you are interested in participating, come one come all! You are welcome to contribute art, fics, and threads for the event.

Prom itself will be set on Sunday, May 28th! Prepare all you need before then and be sure to plan your group! Buy a dress or a tux, find a date, and enjoy!

How to Participate?

Bring a date, go stag, ask out those slowburn crushes! Or join friends in the merriment; it is all up to you. Browse around and shop for new apparel or help your class reps hunt for decor.

What is the contest?

Two people (per fandom based on an open submission box) will be crowned King and Queen of the dance. Voting will occur for all the dashboard to contribute who they thing should be crowned! Go forth and campaign to your heart's desire!

Roleplay Event Announcement

Details

Three years is but a blink of an eye for most of the longer lived races. We have settled into a beautiful state of peace free of the wars that have plagued our people for far too long. So much was lost and the heartbreak made so many numb to the cascade of tragedies that befell Azeroth. Now that we are able to breathe a little easier, there are those who wish to honor the great gift that was given to our people. Hope for a new beginning for the Kaldorei. Join us in celebrating the life of those we lost, and in honoring those brave souls who endured the Maw and then sacrificed their eternal peace in Ardenweald to fuel a seed of hope for our people.

Time: 7:00 PM CST, February 5th

Location: The Shady Sanctuary, Ohn’ahran Plains, Dragon Isles Anchors: Ollimos - MG, Shalíene - MG, Shirayà - MG

Community Feast This event will start off with a casual community feast. We encourage participants to bring their favorite food and/or drink to add to the menu and share with those who gather. This part of the evening is purely social, meant for mingling, eating, drinking, and enjoying the company of friends, both new and old.

Wrestling Matches

What better way to work off a big meal than to enjoy feats of strength and endurance? Sign ups will be open to participate in a series of wrestling matches. This is a bracketed brawl, so spots will be limited. Please contact <Shaliene> for more information and to join the roster! Prize: 20k in-game gold. (Must be MG to accept winnings.)

Archery Tournament Feats of strength and endurance? Now we have feats of arms and precision! For all the marksman, hunters, rangers, bowmen, Sentinels, and more! Not looking to do hand to hand? Better at ranged attacks? This is the activity for you. Sign ups are open. Please contact anchors to add your name to the competitor's roster. Prize: 20k in-game gold. (Must be MG to accept winnings.)

Lantern Vigil A bittersweet and beautiful end to the evening. Join your fellow participants in a short walk to an overlook. There we will light paper lanterns and send them into the night sky, honoring the fallen and all those we lost. Lanterns and Inky Black Potions will be provided by the hosts so that all can participate.

This event is a Kaldorei roleplay event. While allies are welcome, because of what we are celebrating, we are asking for Alliance participation only.

Sable Tree will provide the music for the evening, playing orchestral tracks through an out-of-game playlist(Playlist site and link TBA). Members of Sable Tree will be joining the crowd to partake in dances as directed by the hosts.

Kugane Night Market

Thursday March 7th

Twilight falls over Kugane and all is well, the streets emptying as the people make their way to their homes seeking the solace of their beds. This evening, however, is not like any other. A sweet smell hangs on the crisp night air and distant music draws you in like a siren's call. You turn the corner and there it is glittering in the darkness. Mesmerized, you make your way between the stalls, laughter echoing in your ears. You ask a passerby where you are and he hands you a mask, his smile wider than his face.

"Welcome," he says. "Welcome to the Kugane Night Market."

Ghosts and spirits, yokai and mortals, as well as those who seek the fantastic or uncanny, all find their way here to the patterned stalls of the Night Market. Whatever you may desire, you will find it here. Every desire has it's price and those who are not willing to pay will find the cost extracted in ways they may not expect. Learn well the rules of this eldritch occasion: mind your manners, wear a mask, and always be sure to be long gone before the market fades back from whence it came lest you find that curiosity too has it's cost.
