desc: (you work for present mic's agency....this is my own little au where hawks n present mic work 2gether) waiting in the main lounge for present mic and jirou to get back from patrol, tokoyami walks in right on time.

'hey, you know what's better than homework?'

'hawks.' he placed his finger where hawks' name was.

you crossed out hawks' name and put tokoyami's first initial next to it. you snickered and crossed out shihai's name, putting your first initial next to it. you glanced over to tokoyami and you swear you could see a vein in his hand.

'now, for the place.' you wrote down places. the store, hawks' internship, the league of villians hideout and a house. tokoyami looked over your shoulder. he looked at the paper, confused.

'uhm..house..?' after he answered, he looked over to his homework, but you stopped him and made him look the other direction which caused his feathers to puff up ever so slightly. you put his first initial next to the 'home' line. you put yours next to the 'store' line.

you pointed out the slight vein in his hand.

'what, mad i picked your mortal enemy?' you snickered a bit, noticing the vein get bigger.

'n-no. i'm not. let us just continue.' he dismissed the claim right away, looking at the paper in anticipation.

finally, you wrote down 2 columns. one had surfaces. hills, floor, bed and the grass.

'alright, pick a surface.'

'...bed.' tokoyami's face darkened—if it even could do that—after he picked, probably catching onto the game. you laughed and picked the floor option.

'alright, tell me 4- no, 2! 2 girl pro-hero names.' you wrote down miriko and midnight as he thought.

'oh, ms. joke and ryuku.'

you wrote down those two names, sliding it over to tokoyami.

'i almost burst out laughing when he picked you, man!' you put a hand on your stomach, the other one going to hawks' shoulder.

'w- was i not supposed to?' tokoyami looked up at both of you.

'hey, lemme read his results really quick.'

'you serious?'

'yes.'

hawks sighed. 'fine.'
