When I started shipping them: Very quickly lol. I wanna say it was the scene by the lockers where Fran tells Vilu she likes her "despite everything [Ludmilla's lies, Tomás]" and then after Vilu scribbles "Amiga" in her journal while staring at her (who's giving that dopey thumbs up XD) that solidified it for me. But even before that I was like 'oh, they're so cute, Tomás go away!' (I forget episode numbers but isn't this all before 1x10, maybe 1x12?)

My thoughts: I can't believe no one told me about them before I watched it??? But then it was also kind of nice that I was able to ship it naturally without any preconceived notions on whether I'd like it or not. And was happy to find after I wasn't alone (nor the first) to catch on to their gal pal-ness lol

What makes me happy about them: They're just so soft and affectionate with each other. And fiercely protective. I love all their hugs and hand-holding and cheek kisses. They're just extremely adorable while also sharing really intense storylines - a perfect balance of lots of fluff, but still plenty of angst. I also love how much they love each other even when they're apart. They literally long for the other when they're not around. Fran just about lost her mind when Vilu couldn't make her party. And that moment right before Fran surprised Vilu when she thought she left for Italy when she's staring at her phone dying to call her. I just think before they met they were both kinda lonely even with the people they had in their lives, and it's like you get to watch in real time they make this connection and find that missing piece they didn't know they needed.

What makes me sad about them: That they lose a bit of their appeal in s3. S1&2 their bond was really strong, and s3 it feels like they're not as close because Fran is too afraid to tell her about Diego and Vilu is so focused on winning León back. I do really like their Roxy/Fausta storyline for the absolute ridiculousness it is, but it's tainted by the fact that it's for all the wrong reasons. I wish they still had that storyline but it had more to do with like saving the studio or something? This way it was still fun, without the cringe. I haven't seen the second half yet (I took a mini hiatus that I just restarted last night 3x38 so we're getting to the "secret reveal") so I am interested how my reaction will be to that (but their reunion hug XD)

Things done in fanfic that annoys me: That there's not enough fanfic for them lol. Glad what is out there, but def can use more.

Things I look for in fanfic: I like to see them as in-character as they can be, where I can almost see it happening in the show.

My wishlist: A fic where they're already together? idk maybe there is, but I feel like I mostly read (and also have written) them getting together, i'd be interested in how they're written just as a couple.

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: I love their canon endgames actually. I ship Leonetta and Diecesca as well but if they ever wanted to do a switch-a-roo I wouldn't hate it lmao.

My happily ever after for them: It's strange because I do ship their canon endgames a lot so I don't mind them just staying friends (weird thing to say about an otp??) so my almost best alternative is somewhere down the line they divorce Diego and León and reconnect after not having seen each other as their lives have led them in different directions. But they find themselves back in BA or something and move in together and find themselves falling in love and wondering if they already had in their teens. (yo someone jot this down, it's got fic potential + to my wishlist!)

five, having been in his umbrella academy uniform for 2 entire weeks (only shown washing it? once? if i remember correctly?), has to wear the sparrow academy uniform and it is symbolic of detachment from his family since the sparrows are probably far more competent and, in terms of actuallt getting shit done, probably far easier to work with for five

hargreeves siblings blame themselves for ben’s death. look LOOK i love angst and it makes sense because r*ggie BLAMED THEM!! and now the sparrow academy is the same, except without them and look, ben is still alive! he was right. it’ll hurt but it’ll hurt good

five experiencing pop culture. like there’s so much he missed out on. i don’t remember the exact year he left but assuming the sparrow timeline is like ours in terms of technology, five doesn’t know what an iphone is (technically none of them know what an iphone is because of how technology works in the tuaverse but that doesn’t matter)

You have probably already said it, so you can ignore me if you want to but, if you could write s3, what would you like to happen regarding Alex's storyline? What are your wishes? The best case scenario?

If I could write S3, I’d definitely skip the whole Forrest thing. I have nothing against Forrest, I just don’t think it’s necessary for Alex to date someone else to be/get “ready” to be with Michael. Neither do I think it’s necessary for Alex to date someone else until Michael is ready to be with Alex. 

Instead I want Alex to spend time with his friends. First and foremost Kyle, bc we’re going to ignore that dumb 2x05 statement they made Alex say for whatever reason and let them have great friendship moments throughout the season.

Then I want friendship scenes between Liz and Alex. Scenes where they actually talk. And if Rosa’s around, I want her to join the conversation.

A new friendship I need like air is Alex and Isobel. Her snark is a perfect match for Alex’s snark. I want them to have coffee dates at the Crashdown and go to Planet 7 to have some fun (not hooking up with anyone, just enjoying being queers in a queer space). Isobel could also be a great mediator between Alex and Michael (without MEDDLING tho). She’d just know enough about both of them to nudge them in the right direction occasionally and encourage them to talk, and ultimately to give a romantic relationship a shot.

Then I want Alex to spend time with Greg. They’ll need time to reconcile and mend their relationship after way too many years apart. A common goal for them would be to get Flint back from the edge of being a Manes man (I still want that redemption arc for Flint *grabby hands*).

I can’t really say anything about Clay, the fourth Manes brother, but I hope he’s a good person and will also reconnect with Alex.

Then there’s Mindy, Alex’s mom. I want her to return to Roswell and I want to know why she left in the first place, what kept her away for so long, and what she knew about Jesse. If possible, I want Alex to get a hug from his mom. ❤️

Finally there’s Alex’s friendship with Michael. More than anything I want them to finally TALK, and have real conversations about them and the past decade. I want them to talk about all the things that hurt, but also about the moments that were good, the moments that made them love each other so much, even a decade mostly apart couldn’t change that.

At some point (roughly halfway through S3) it would be enough with the talking tho. There’s only so much you can talk through over and over, if they want to move on, they have to truly forgive each other. Mutual forgiveness combined with the promise of leaving “their” pain in the past and the commitment to not ever use any of the old pain to hurt each other going forward.

“Could we both stop keeping score” is what Alex wrote in his song to Michael, and once they both feel like they can do that and let the past be the past, I want them to get together. And from there on out I want them to be together, in a committed relationship that won’t be broken up again, not in S3, not at any point after that.

After a decade and 2 seasons of misery, Alex and Michael are owed happiness, domestic bliss, dates, a million kisses, and a dog. And we deserve to see a HAPPY queer couple on screen for a change. Enough with the fake TV drama and queer trauma porn that still way too many writers consider “entertainment”🙄

Anyway, my wishlist got rather long, and it’s unlikely that all of this is going to happen (at least not on the scale I’d like to see it). Apart from that, the show’s not called Malex (big mistake imo :P ), and I want character development for the other characters just as much as I want it for Alex and Michael. 

I want real friendship moments between all of them. I want them to actually work together for a change. They teased a Scooby gang dynamic for S2 and that never happened. Make it happen in S3. Don’t introduce a million new characters (Covid would make that difficult anyway), don’t invite everyone back from S2 (*cough* Steph *cough*) instead focus on the core cast and the supporting characters like Arturo, Sanders, the Manes brothers, Mindy, Michelle, Mimi, and the Evans’.

What I also want is for Liz to be the clear LEAD of the show again. S2 took that away from her and that was not okay. I want ONE big mystery they’re trying to uncover over the course of 13 episodes, and after an entire season of little to no answers and revelations, I want answers in S3. About the aliens, their home planet, the war, the Alighting. I want to know who sabotaged the UFO and made it crash. I want to know more about their powers. At its core, RNM is also a sci fi show, just make use of that and tell us stories about aliens, please?

Season 3 Byler Wishlist

I don’t have my hopes up for anything crazy. Just a few items I really want from Season 3.

1. Obviously, can’t have either of my boys dying. That just goes without saying.

2. If/when The Byler Fight happens, I also need the make up to happen this season. I think it’s unlikely, but it’d be pretty rough to have the fight happen near the end of the season without reconciling. Or have the Byers move, as people have theorized, and have the last things they said to each other be stuff they regret. And speaking of...

3. I don’t want the Byers to move away!! Like, I get it...I understand why Joyce would want to get outta there. But you can’t split up the Party!

4. One (1) Byler hug. Not the arm around the shoulder thing which they’ve perfected. But one full on chest to chest embrace. I don’t think it’s too much! The make up scene would provide a perfect opportunity.

5. I don’t want to come out of this season feeling like M*leven is inevitable endgame.I know they’re probably going to be a main focus of S3, and that’s fine. But I don’t wanna feel like they’re so deeply in love nothing could ever break them up :/

Bonus!

If either Mike or Will calls back to either the “Crazy Together” or “It Was The Best Thing I’ve Ever Done” scene, I might lose it.

Season 3 wishlist

Now that season 3 is officially confirmed (woooohooo!) I am going to make a wishlist of the things that I would like to see in season 3. Feel free to add things that you want to see in S3. :)))

- More Charlie and Gilbert

- Charlie and Diana. Ok I know a majority of the fandom ships Diana x Jerry and I do too but I’m torn because I recently rewatched 1x03 and Charlie seemed quite flirty towards Diana...idk maybe that was just me.

- Diana playing the piano more!

- You can just tell I want more Charlie haha

- A shirbert hug. I thought we would have gotten that in season 2 but I’m hopeful that we’ll get one this season it would be sooo adorable

- More Cole. Enough said

- The boat scene. They teased it last season so hopefully we’ll get it this season

- Jealous Gilbert. Pleaseeee. I need this.

- More of Mary’s backstory. I love the little we saw of her last season and Elijah (her son)

- Anne calling Gilbert “Gil.” If that happens...

- Gilbert walking Anne home. Imagine that

- New characters

- A Josie Pye redemption arc as well as a Billy one

- Ruby getting over her crush on Gilbert. She deserves someone who likes her back

- Diana and Gilbert friendship developed

- Bash and Mary scenes. I want them to tease Gilbert about liking Anne

- The Cuthberts family scenes

- I want Anne to get Gilbert a present for Christmas since last time she didn’t get him one

- Anne and Gilbert studying together for the entrance exams

- Jerry going to school

- Meeting Jerry’s family (and maybe the Cuthberts invite them for dinner or something)

- Gilbert calling Anne “Anne-girl”

- Bash and Mary inviting the Cuthberts for dinner

- Bash and Mary maybe having a child of their own

- I also want Anne to wear her hair in different hairstyles

So what's the fandom's Karedevil wishlist for Season 4? Mine is to see some sexual tension, maybe Matt could give Karen pointers on how to escape from attackers and voila - sweaty breathy touchy feely Matt and Karen @_@ I also wanna see Karen in a gown at some fancy event, we saw them at their lowest in S3, it's about time we saw them be fabulous. Maybe spying together a-la 2x06. So many possibilities now that Daredevil can work with Karen and Foggy! (& of course a hug and a KISS would be nice)

Oh well, I totally think we will get something similar to back in season 2, some flirting and sexual tension , plus cute moments and then BOOM they kiss again and they start dating but this time I hope they will not break up (like Charlie himself said they already been at the rockbotton for too long, they need a lighter season now), they will learn how to be on a relationship… After Elektra , Matt never dated for more than 2 months or so, and after her brother´s death, I dont think Karen really let anyone in neither, so I assume she doesnt know how to be in relationship like Matt doesnt… 

they need to learn TOGETHER, especially with working together and putting themselves at risk and all that (not a normal job lol) , We know Matt first instict is to protect her, he will have to learn that now she is the IP so she has to go there and Karen dealing that he is daredevil and that she is the vigilante´s girlfriend, the worry and fear for him not coming back and all that… They will make it work, IM SURE- 

 I wanna see cute little moments, like big smiles, holding hands, soft kisses, some make out scenes and  I really hope a SEXY SEX SCENE !!! - Also some deep talk, like Matt telling her she needs to forgive herself and that her brother would be PROUD of who she is!!!

 If at episode 13 we get a proposal, I would NOT be mad!!!
