Mermaid’s story 2

 I come here every now and then,  to mourn you, my loss. We are not talking, this is a beautiful sacrifice, but we both know. I am still the same person you left, and this time just makes me long for you more, maybe we both need to work on ourselves. The ocean is a cold place, full of plot twists and big sharks that want to eat me. I need to understand that you won’t be here with me to protect me, your warm and soft body won´t help me go to sleep this rainy night. I must go to my shell and wrap myself again in my bedsheets. I must understand this dark dreaded truth. But all I want is to go back to your warm embrace , fight for what my heart desires, walk out of these wet places, knock on your door and tell you I love you. But nothing happens, the reality is  I miss you and just as how fantasy sets me high, reality strikes me down.

 I don’t want to sink bottom- deep,but I can’t help my feelings if you read this I think will make things worse, my tears are now the size of this ocean. I can’t cry anymore, my desire to have you here is deeper than this space that surrounds me, all I am is just a  mermaid that can´t cry anymore, these tears are my house now, shed from all the other sailors I lured- in to stay forever with me. 

So  please don’t try to come back when I finally resign to the inevitable.One day I will stop feeling this way, a week later I will not even remember your name and it won’t matter because you will b far gone, and all I will ever have is this cold-blooded heart and an empty promise. You will be out there walking with both legs, and  since  I can´t come out to the surface  all I'll ever be is water under the bridge.
