two wlw rarepair answers, both from the mcu (sorry y'all lmao):

1) romantic sarah wilson and may parker, pining & fluff/humor

first of all. FIRST OF ALL. two widowed, hardworking women who have struggled in life, have raised sons at least partially on their own, and also know the difficulties of superhero life (sarah with sam and may with peter)?? i am Obsessed with the potential dynamic. OBSESSED. all the flirting, omg, so much soft teasing. may dancing all cornily like she does in homecoming and sarah finding it the sweetest thing ever (and also showing her how to dance for real, god bless). sarah helping may with cooking (the INTIMACY of standing close to your crush in the kitchen, okay) and may learning how to cook certain recipes to impress sarah (and probably burning the first few tries). dates on the wilson boat, please and thank you. may getting to really see the stars while in delacroix because lbr, queens has issues with light pollution that delacroix doesn't, and also both of them thinking about how beautiful the other is in the moonlight. may helping sarah navigate new york!! obviously nola dates, too, which we already know i love with sambucky. speaking of sambucky, i was talking with ambi earlier and i think it would be SO FUNNY if in an endgame sarahmay and sambucky fic you have sam flirting with may and sarah flirting with bucky just to annoy each other (note: bucky and may would either be aware and totally okay with it and/or it's very harmless flirting that's not misleading and stuff. if that makes sense lol). i just think these ladies would be so sweet together!!

also, fun bonus: the family dynamic that comes with it! peter would be a hit with aj and cass and would ofc adore them in return. sam is perpetually annoyed by peter but also (begrudgingly) cares for the kid, too.

2) romantic sarah wilson and pepper potts, yearning & hurt/comfort

the a n g s t potential gets me here. once again, you have two widowed, hardworking women who have struggled in life, have raised children at least partially on their own, and know the difficulties of superhero life (sarah with sam and pepper with tony), but here there are some Important Differences. namely, the class/status/whatever you wanna call it difference. that's just a fact of canon, and i think that's what makes this potential pairing so Painful (in a good way!). because in most scenarios, i just don't think their relationship would work out in the long term (although y'all know me, i can OBVIOUSLY also think of happy endings tyvm) because their lives strongly clash in that sense. maybe they meet at some hero-related event sam brings sarah to, and tbh i like the idea of there being some immediate attraction between them (romantic, sexual, whatever floats your boat) and going from there. again, the FLIRTING and TEASING, i love it. i feel like they would have a lot of fun with each other and possibly even fall in love, and then of course you can decide if you want to go a) angst route, where even though their lives feel more complete with the other in it, there are things they can't sacrifice and thus have to break it off or b) HAPPY ENDING, DAMMIT, which is always a valid option.

also don’t get me wrong bc i love the show !! & it’s great content & i will literally take anything marvel wants to give us. but i cannot be the only one who’s been feeling the weird vibes & offbeat energy of the past two episodes. like ofc it’s good the composition, the visuals, it’s very well made. but, i feel like they’re trying to hard with bucky & sam’s buddy comedy vibes?? like it feels a little forced ? plz no one hurt me for saying that. i still love it. still hyped. just weird vibes bc they keep switching from deadly serious to comedy & im like ?? yall rly just giving me whiplash. & like it feels simultaneously like the episodes go by hella fast but every scene is slow as hell ? it’s wack as hell. but also maybe it’s just marvel adjusting to tv shows & episodes rather than movies. like they only have six but they still need to fit all the banter & comedy as well as the plot.still love it tho. still love them. still hilarious. just my two cents.

like sambucky is my OTP but I really love samsharon too idk why it just feels so addictive and hot as hell. they did have chemistry in my opinion and Idk why I love it so much, if SarahBucky happens then I want samsharon or samquin. Some random ships: sambcukysharon anyone? Sarahsharon? Sarahilde? Sarahthor? Stevesarah? Sarahnat. Idk at this point but she deserves to be shipped.

I would love SamSharon!!! but like honestly it would be great for fics if she reformed for her love of Sam and then like he found out when one of her minions tries to pull her back in. and sam finds out!

Honestly I love them! Save for Peter/MJ, they’re probably my favorite MCU ship (and even then I have oodles oof Spidey content that lead into me loving Peter/MJ so much lol). 

They’re a fun ship with a lot of chemistry and great interactions, and unlike most MCU interactions their interactions don’t feel hollow and/or rushed (most likely helped along by the fact that a TV show can spend more time on that dynamic ofc). I think they’re a great ship all around, 10/10 would recommend to a friend.

Honestly whether it's sambucky or sarahbucky, I can't see the dynamic changing between any of them

Idk how to explain it but do you know how sometimes you get like a siblings + one sibling's partner friend group? And the partner is basically just as flirty with the sibling they're not dating as they are with the one they are dating, the only difference being they're joking (plus like no physical stuff ofc)

That's kinda how I see Sarah, Sam, and Bucky as a group, regardless of who Bucky is dating? Like if Sam and Bucky are a couple, Bucky and Sarah will still flirt back and forth and mess around, same with SarahBucky except its Sam and Bucky messing about. Sam/Sarah find it funny and probably join in by feigning the overprotective sibling role.

Idk, alongside the chemistry between both pairings alone, I think thats why I can get with either ship. I don't see how the dynamic would change at all and if anything (in my imagination) it would just add to it. Sam and Bucky are friends, and, as much as we don't see much of them together, presumably so are Sarah and Bucky, that's not gonna stop because of a romantic relationship

I think the whole SarahBucky vs SamBucky discourse is pointless; firstly because that whole "it gets in the way of my ship" argument has always been stupid and misogynistic, and secondly because not only are both ships great but they also compliment eachother.

Let's print this and distribute it on flyers! You're absolutely right, about this, they are complementary in the sense that whether Sambucky is a couple or Sarahbucky is, the 3 of them will be a family... They all have a strong relationship with each other, even if Sarah and Bucky's relationship is still at the beginning and developing. We already saw that Sarah trusted Bucky Barnes, an ex-mind controlled Super Soldier around her kids and even was ok with him spending the night at her place which means there is already a level of trust and the foundations of a great relationship. So no matter what direction the relationship goes, we will see a great dynamic.

As you said they all have great chemistry together whether it is Stackie or Adepero/Sebastian, so I think a Sarahbucky relationship would work out very well.

TL:DR: Sambucky shippers who are against Sarahbucky need to chill.
