Double sandbanks at Blackpool, with twice the chance of being cut off when the tide comes in. A tractor is headed out to bring back a leisure fishing boat.
Jellyfish have drifted along on ocean currents and are able to repel attacks from all sides, shining with spray and clapping their THOUSAND little hands as we seized them to stop the canoe, leaping like a spirited horse, flew at top speed under the grey walls, negotiated safely the Sunken chain of the Fliegende Brucke ferry, turned The corner sharply to the left, and plunged on yellow foam into The wilderness of islands, sandbanks, and swamp-land beyond—the land of desolation on wings, and in the senate Obama and buried a dog.
Difficult run this morning. I perhaps foolishly decided do go with out breakfast plus I didn’t take a bottle. I ran the down to Poole park & felt okay. I did go off a little quick, however really suffered in the middle mile. Ankles & knees aching. I took a couple of walking breaks & debated with myself why I bother, & if I should have just stayed in bed! However I sucked it up & jogged in the last mile. A slow time, bit about average of what I’ve been running recently. Again I didn’t run all week. Although I have been cycling to work daily. Was on my feet all day in town with the kids doing some back to school shopping. Off all next week, so going to try & get out a couple of times. Hopefully going to get back to three runs a week. Down on sandbanks beach this afternoon (last pic). We have a beach hut for two days for me mums 70th birthday. The weather has brightened up nicely. Had a little swim in the sea too! #parkrun #poolepark #run #sandbanks #runner #rebel #running #instarun #runstagram #beardedrunner #lonelygoatrunningclub #strava #garmin #betrusapien #workoutsnap #myoddballs #runnersofinstagram #lonelygoatrunningclub #lonelygoatrunners #weightlossjourney #injuryrecovery #runningcommunity (at Poole, Dorset) https://www.instagram.com/p/Che8y8cIFG-/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
“Gentle waves, like a sheet of rich blue silk, touched the shore. With barely a breeze, only the gentle pulse of the water filled the air, and the sun lit the horizon, like a distant fire. All around me is peace. I drink it in, savouring every moment; the perfect ending to a wonderful summer day.” – Ed Lehming
Today, a brief pause in my California series for an image made yesterday evening at…

For example, the longnose pufferfish might swim away at first, but will almost all the time just find some cover. Then it’s too curious so it will peek out again to check you out. That’s the best photo opportunity, in its natural behaviour. When the opportunity is given, you’ll need to be positioned correctly or at least in level with the subject. 🍿Seaspiracy The film explores various environmental issues affecting oceans, including plastic pollution, ghost nets and overfishing, and argues that commercial fisheries are the main driver of marine ecosystem destruction. #expatlife #tourists #travelgram #travel #maldives #sandbanks #snorkeling #dive #discoverscuba #padi #diveclubmaldives #instatravel #island #beach #dolphinwatching #diving #divers #nudibranch #maldives #picoftheday #indianocean #paradise #hanifarubay #scubadiving #diveinstructors #diveholidays #waterfulexperience #awaterfulexperience #turtles #billiondollarart @adam.underwater #raw_oceanlife @raw_oceanlife (at Maldives) https://www.instagram.com/p/CfJT7okKeCM/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
