I truly was aiming for a group photo, due to the excessive heat and humidity, it just wasn't safe for them and myself. 🥵 . Driving Miss Fancy was beginning to show signs of heat sensitivity just after 10 minutes outside. . My little brachycephalic pack - Mini Me, Munchkin and Ozzy, same as they were showing heat stress. . I pivoted and elected to take their photo one:one, thus, reducing the amount of time outside and keeping them inside where it was massively cooler. . Chata is a senior gal at 10 years old. She’s 53 lbs. and she is absolutely made for a life of snuggles and tea parties! She loves biscuits (aka treats!). Sweet Miss Chata is so much fun to hang with -- we just love her laid back style. Chata has been at the shelter since she was surrendered on 7/2/19 for “neighbors”. Her previous owners reported that she was friendly with adults and kids, and that she is a playful gal with other dogs. Since at the shelter she has been in senior dog play groups and had a few meets with other dogs, as well as been kenneled with other female dogs. She is happy to poke around the yard with a friend. Chata has been in short term foster twice while at the shelter. We believe she needs to go into a home with a quiet space, where she will get plenty of decompression time to help her acclimate. She’s currently urgently alerted due to having bouts of diarrhea, but medical staff believes there is a strong possibility her issue could be managed with medications or diet. She NEEDS private vet care and testing! Please, please PLEDGE toward her vet care!! This girl is so deserving of love, and it breaks our heart to see a golden girl like her in a kennel, and not living the high life like she deserves. People at an oil class I attended kind of chuckled when I said my dogs have their own oil diffuser. I think you can see Basil doesn't mind at all. When he feels done, he gets up and lays some place else.
