Yara, would you recommend eating a devil fruit or would you say it has too many drawbacks?
“As for me, I wasn’t much of a swimmer prior to eating the Tōka Tōka no Mi so I can’t say I miss it, though it can be rather annoying to have to be so mindful about not falling in the water. I ate mine in a moment of desperation, but if I were to do it all over again, I would make that same decision. Even if my fruit is basically offensively useless, I have an almost impenetrable defence, which suits me just fine as a swordswoman.”
Ask Yara (or any of my OCs) anything!

assorted fabby hc time mostly. what is Wrong with her. smiles. enjoy
the fabricator is deeply paranoid. she has a fear of betrayal that's spiraled into mistrust of any act of kindness, as well as. a fear of Something Getting Her. this impacts her so horribly. especially when she's not getting enough sleep (always)
the paranoia has always been there, but zor took advantage of it when she joined zoraxis. she was VERY manipulated - they played on her fear of others to isolate her from her peers, and cultivated a fear of punishment from them so that she would be their perfect little engineer. she's terrified of any perceived fault she has.
because of this she has trouble trusting anyone. the only exception is solaris. she's... blunt. honest. easy to read. it's easier to be relaxed around her.
she also can't watch horror films. not alone, anyway. she sometimes indulges in them with solaris. especially for their halloween movie nights.
she has no real support system, aside from zor (who is. as discussed. bad). she had very few friends before, and her relationship with her family was always strained at best.
autism. thumbs up emoji.
she put a lot of thought into her name and it means a lot to her, even if she never uses it these days. (this is. the trans hc. she's trans to me btw.)
she's abnormal about machines
despite her issues, she doesn't really think anything is wrong. has not gone to therapy. really should go to therapy. she doesn't have the language to even begin talking about her mental state, let alone seek help for it.
WILL cling to any authority figure. she cannot function without orders. this is because of zor's manipulation. she's been under their thumb for two decades (TO ME), and they used all of that time to shape her into what she is today.
you could, in theory, redeem her. but she would have to hit a huge tipping point. a massive break in her worldview. something that makes her want to leave this life behind. and that's hard to do. she likes what she does.
she has intrusive thoughts somewhat regularly. she doesn't realize this isn't normal.

im insane over SYN's behavior towards Johnny in the first 2 acts what the fuck was that. "I see you" "I see the scream trapped within you" "I'll give you your voice. We'll scream together" "I know all, yet I do not know this. Why do you persist?" "You run, you hide, all a meaningless facade. I see you. I see you." etc. I know she was trying to manipulate him but also like. There are implications there.

It seems a bit underwhelming if Will’s role is to just humanize Vecna if he’s supposed to have a big focus in S5 and that’s his only connection to the UD? Wouldn’t it make more sense that there’s a bigger plot twist that Vecna or the Mindflayer kidnapped him because he was special in some way?
Imo if Will is able to bring a sense of empathy to Vecna that ultimately "gets through" to him and, say, theoretically severs his connection with the Mindflayer or weakens OR WHATEVER it which ultimately leads to saving the entire world, I wouldn't say thats underwhelming.
I mean, is it less underwhelming if Will somehow throws a magical fireball at him and kills him instantly "achieving" the "same" thing?

I love Kina writing her as an adult is different. I still view her as the talkative a little naive baby sister of nick. She’s was always tagging along with him and exploring the city and hanging with his freinds. Learning about little stuff and I feel like as she got older and Nick got older their relationship got a bit strained, on Nick end it was mostly because his ex was isolating him and he wasn’t coping well with some stuff so he went from speaking to her nearly everyday to going weeks and then months with no contact. She was in her early teens at this point and he’s moved out so she was kinda alone for the first tine(not really she was living with Stefan and that her dad he loves her but it’s different. Her moms in jail her actually dads fars away and her brothers ignoring her) nick was one of the only people who really got her and they shared a lot with each. That her best friend I think their getting back to that close relationship but because nick kinda distanced himself for nearly five years she grew a lot more close to their mom in that time and she keeps her updated on the little she know of his life. She not judging but Yuka is and nick already avoid speaking to her as much as he can so when they did click again and talked at a point Kina made a little comment to Yuka and the next time Nick spoke to her she berated him for it. I don’t think Nick ever told her not to talk to their mom about him. He should she doesn’t really get why he doesn’t talk to their mom much. She think he’s selfish and hates having all their conversations with her mom be about how nicks “a fucking ungrateful embarrassment” baby girl is working on being a doctor and her mom like how my stupid son before asking about her day. Yuka does use Kina achievements to make Nick feel bad though so theres that to.

Yesterday in the car my mom was knocking back smarties boxes whilst we were driving to the hospital and she kept complaining that they tasted so fake and so I asked her what she meant and she's like, "Well, usually they're big and crunchy."
"Those are peanut m&m's, mom. These are smarties."
"Fuck."
