Okay, 13 seats, including Fuuko- this tells us a lot.

Sick was officially an Open quest- Rip wasn't part of the table at that point, and Latla still isn't.

The table evolves at 12 or 13 people- and one of these seats was a reward for Sick's quest.

There's like no way Granpasshin is still in the armor.

Let's go through it.

Burn is back. His reward is based on A Silent Voice.

Summer's reward is too generic for me to pinpoint a specific inspiration - maybe it's a Warhammer, for Harley Quinn?

Both First Ten reward the same thing of two roundtable seats, which is probably what Sick gave, too.

I predicted UMA Beast, but wasn't sure about Language, since Nico soloed Language last loop. I guess this just means either Language doesn't like to fight, or Nico's the fucking greatest.

Random shower thought: Shen could legit free a person closed to him possessed by Iihiko were he to learn a Style that at least doesn’t hamper Untruth.

All the tactics Zenkichi used against Iihiko possessing Shiranui were employed by Shen in both loops: fighting head-on while keeping backup measures, taking damage and countering, fooling opponents into certain misconceptions to cleverly use his power, finish the fight in one attack if given the chance, etc.

Honestly getting Iihiko to strike himself would be child's play with Untruth. I'm actually not sure why Shen doesn't already do that

The idea of an action having an "opposite" in the first place is extremely vague and subjective as it is. "Moving forward" vs. "moving backward" could just as easily be interpreted as "moving fast" vs. "moving slow"

"Attacking with my left foot" vs. "attacking with my right foot" could just as easily be interpreted as "attacking" vs. "defending," or "attacking" vs. "fleeing," or, in this particular case, "attacking my enemy" vs. "attacking myself"

That said, it might depend on the conceptualization of the person performing the action just as easily as it could depend on the conceptualization of Untruth's user, but either one would make perfect sense with what we know about Untruth

Shen has more difficulty using Untruth on enemies who use more complex tactics, partially because they're better able to adjust to the Untruth, but also because their movements are harder to predict, so using Untruth could accidentally create an attack he's not prepared for instead of doing something as simple as switching which side the enemy is going to attack with

That said, Iihiko being Iihiko, he may well not think of fighting his enemy as anything more than "attacking." He's powerful and experienced, but the sheer gap in power has proven to make him prone to underestimating his opponents, considering his own counterattacks as little more than swatting away a mosquito; I've certainly never thought "I'm going to swat with this bug with my left hand" when swinging at a mosquito, in fact the action is mostly reflexive rather than intentional, meaning that Untruth should operate based on the user instead of the target in that scenario. Therefore, an attack from Iihiko should, by all accounts, be reversible towards himself/his host like when Hitoyoshi used his borrowed Contradictory Conjunction Style to communicate that same plan to the possessed Shiranui

Again, though, that's assuming that Negator abilities aren't countered by Iihiko's resistance to Skills, since they seem to operate on similar principles to Styles already

With how BL fans like to treat two men in a relationship as one taking a more feminine role (bottoming, doing household chores, acting as a “wife”, being the younger one of the couple) and the other more masculine husband type of role...

I think it’s pretty safe to assume that Ancient China would also understand homosexual couples to be very heteronormative in a similar vein - one of the males is relegated into to “wife” role.

So when Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe decide that they want to go vacation - but also to make sure that they actually get a vacation and aren’t getting an impromptu visit from Liu Qingge for a spar or Yue Qingyuan for tea or some demonic servant reporting of another revolt outbreak in the demon realm - they decide to hop into another dimension for their vacation.

(Uh... let’s assume that the visit from Bingge never happened. Or this takes place before Bingge’s visit.)

Anyways, Shen Yuan and Luo Binghe visit MDZS! And people keep assuming that Luo Binghe is the “wife” because Luo Binghe mentions how he’s the one cooking, ordering clothes, managing the servants. As a result, most cultivators just dismiss Luo Binghe as being nothing more than a pretty face.

Somehow, somewhat, the two manage to get invited to browse the Gusu Lan Sect’s library. And Luo Binghe finally gets to show that he’s actually a powerhouse when he stops the Wen’s invasion into the place.

Then Luo BInghe hunts down Wen Ruohan for daring to interrupt his husband’s browsing of the library.

The 5 Great Sects are Not Pleased about demonic cultivation, but Shen Yuan is diplomatic and Luo Binghe tucks himself back into his soft waifu appearance, asking for recipes and shopping for pretty fans and acting Not Insane. With Luo Binghe as an example, the cultivation world also quickly accepts Wei Wuxian’s demonic cultivation on the condition that Wei Wuxian gets married off and becomes a “housewife” like Luo Binghe.
