A Cute Little Change of Heart

Atsumu really does hate cats but when a kitten showed up at his door after a snow storm he couldn’t help but take it in. At first they didn’t get along. The darn thing was always in his shoes when he was in a rush, scratching up the furniture, or just getting its hair everywhere.He called it kitty not really wanting to name it or get attached.

But little by little Atsumu got used to the little things like checking his shoes before trying to slide them on. He started looking up tips on websites about how to train the little kitten to use the litter box and how to keep her from scratching the furniture. He even made Kitty a small bed of pillows but the little kitten had already seemed to have taken to sleeping on Atsumu’s chest to which he kindly obliged. And Atsumu’s change in attitude towards Kitty seemed to turn into a new found love of cats in general. Which greatly surprised his MSBY teammates when they all went over to Sakusa’s apartment one day to hangout and Atsumu spent the whole time playing with Sakusa’s very happy cat.

Even Osamu found himself surprised by his own brother when he brought Kitty with him to the family Christmas dinner dressed in an adorable Christmas sweater. And well, as for what Atsumu thought on the matter, Kitty was the cutest being on the world. Of course he’d bring her with him. And as for Kitty, well, she couldn’t be happier than she is curled up in Atsumu’s lap after a day of playing.
