"Have you ever bought fresh flowers and placed them in a vase, taking care of them? Have you tried to keep them radiant, only to see them wilt regardless of your efforts? So have I. But in the end, no matter how much we protect them, time wears away their splendour. So it is with human relationships. No matter how much we protect them, time wears away their splendour. Through these portraits, I seek to capture the essence of these peculiar and transitory connections. The expression of the male gaze is intertwined with the delicacy and ephemeral beauty of flowers. Each brushstroke is an attempt to capture human complexity and vulnerability. Why do men give flowers as a symbol of reconciliation? Perhaps it is because they recognise that, like flowers, relationships are fragile and need constant attention. Flowers are our way of saying "I'm sorry" and reminding the other that we are willing to start again. In each withered petal, there is hope for a new beginning." Carla Fuentes

K CLASSIKA PAINTINGS VOLUME 6

My apologizes if some of you have been upset by my previous post when I said there won’t be any more expansion pack for the Sims 4 ... Of course, it’s not a fact until any official announcement but let’s face it : Country Living is 1 year old and none expansion has been mentioned in the EA/Maxis road map ................

So you see the point I suppose :/ but hey ! that’s not bad news at all and they can’t deliver what is missing in the core game ;) All EA can deliver is a kind of never-ending suite of kits and frankly, custom content creators made that for ages ! So, what’s new indeed ?

Anyway, the today’s post is not related to EA/Maxis but to a new volume of Classika Paintings :)

I must confess I love making some art for the Sims and I missed it for too long now ...

For this volume, let's get impressed by people. Except for the Monet and Van Gogh ( let's get impressed by them ) and the mountain but mountains are impressive. So, people ! People fighting the sea, or posing, challenging the eye to see them as they are or rather to see more then small details or standing cliché. To be fair, there is no great theme in this set. It is just a collection of masterpieces. Do they really need to be stack by themes ? Do we need to tag them ? To put them into boxes just to find them more easily ? Ah, order versus chaos. As per usual. The forever fight ;)

Guest Check Prints

Hey ya'll! I'm obsessed with the Laundry Room Studios guest check prints, so I thought, "Why not make them for my sims?!?" They go perfectly in a restaurant as cute wall decor or in your sim's kitchen for a pop of color!

They come in 15 different swatches and each one was a different quote on it.

As always, credit goes to original artists. These images were all found on Pinterest. You can find any of my work by typing in [Kennedy]. These prints are titled [Kennedy] LRS Guest Check Print. They cost 150 and are a base game painting recolor.

Artsy Fartsy - Vintage Simlish Prints

me? doing more silly wall art? shocking! unprecedented! ground-breaking! anyway asdfghgfds all joking aside, it's finally done and i'm really happy to share it with you all!!

I found a bunch of free-to-use vintage prints, and thought, 'hey, i want these in my game'. So I cleaned each picture up, removed the text and replaced it with Simlish. There are framed and unframed versions for each print, and all the framed ones come with 6 different frame colours for each print (there's....a LOT of total swatches. like a lot a lot. warning you now lmao). I'm also sharing PNGs of the edited pics themselves, for you to use however you want lmao.

Anyway, I actually really, really enjoyed cleaning up the images and removing the text to make way for the Simlish, even if i did belatedly realise that in-game they're so small you probably won't even notice anyway but asdfghjhgfdsa. I really hope you enjoy these!
