1910s Deco Sims

The female one was originally a commission that I did, which then kind of fell through because the blog deactivated. So, a lot of time later, I want to share them with you all. They come in tons of swatches (which I normally wouldn't do anymore today), but i did it for the male, so that they match.

If you remember, the idea was to do a big dump of deco sims for Christmas, and then for January. The project however kind of got out of control, as did my time management. So I decided to aim for two uploads per month for this year instead: One that is either a dress, other clothing or hair, and the other one is deco sims from different eras.

I hope these are useful to you, and you enjoy using them in your decades challenge!

Gytha Hair Set

Here's a Medieval-inspired set of hairs with an updo, half-updo and braid. Proper Medieval hairstyles usually involved veils or head coverings so these actually lean more towards Renaissance styles (which is another set I'm working on!) but they fit the whole Medieval Fantasy category perfectly.

There are 4 styles of net with 9 swatches and white or black pearls. V1 (with and without pearls) which is pictured in the preview and V2 (with and without pearls) which is less busy. I'll put a preview for those below.

V1 with the pearls is a higher polycount than I'd have preferred at just over 4,000 but that was the lowest I could go while still maintaining it's quality. Combined with the hair's though the total is still under 10k which is my unofficial limit so most computers ought to be able to handle it well enough.

Quite the Collection of Quilted Bedding (Adults-Infants)

These use the luxurious and roarsome bedding by Peacemaker_ic. You will need those meshes for this to work, you can find them here: HERE and HERE. You'll need the toddler, childrens V1 and V2 and Luxurious V1 & V2 for all of these to work.

The bunk beds use the mesh from Dream Home Decorator, with the Peacemaker bedding, it is only the mattress, so you will need a separated bed frame.

18th Century Colorwork Mittens

Baby it's cold outside! And now your 18th century sims can keep their hands warm with some fancy colorwork mittens.

The fingerless mittens come in 27 swatches using Anachrosims' Georgian and Federal Palette and come in three different types of colorwork patterns based on real mittens from history.

Pattern 1

Based on these gloves made sometime between 1675 - 1725 this pattern features green sprouting plants with small birds and yellow flowers.

Pattern 2

Based on these gloves from the early to mid 1700s this pattern features beautiful golden geometrical shapes. I made the gloves longer to match the length of the other gloves.

Pattern 3

Based on these gloves from the early 1700s this pattern features white sprouting plants and pomegranates with flowers in yellow.

A fantasy/medieval inspired grocery store. Functions as retail, with living space above and a garden to grow anything you might need. Hidden cash register on the counter. Untested as a functioning store, due to all the TOOL involved, but it makes a great set-piece either way. ;3 Absolutely functions as a house. We're high-tech here--we even have indoor plumbing!

Simblreen 2022 Treat #1: Rosa Hair

This was the first of my Simblreen Gifts! The theme of my Simblreen Gifts for this year was a Ball in a noble house! I’m always looking for more “era appropriate” hairs that work well for my black sims, which is why I made this one as soon as I saw that super cute new BG hairstyle.

Queen Alexandra Hair

I decided a clear out of of my work-in-progress folder was needed (it's larger than my cc folder!) and found this!

This is the hairstyle that Queen Alexandra (wife of Edward VII) wore from the 1880s onward.

It's also accidently very similar to the usual hairstyle of Aunt Ada from the Gilded Age! I've just finished watching the series and have already started working on some of the hairstyles so you can look forward for those in the near future!

Kremastes Kourtines - Three Curtains recolor

Sometimes we need privacy, sometimes we need a little privacy and sometimes we just need something to keep the light away.

Even back in ancient times humans (and sims) started to use woven cloth to protect themselves from heat, cold or strong light and divide the living space for more privacy. It was more common among the wealthy than others, and it for sure would beautify their surroundings. This set has three different curtains in many swatches from my Efrosyni and Knossos palettes. You will find them in game where you normally find curtains, or by searching for Kremastes or KyriaT.

1880s Separated Bustle Skirt

Download (sfs). No mesh required, but if you want the original dress, it’s no.3 of Linzlu’s 1880s bustle dresses (link broken, go here). More info and screenshots under the cut.

I wanted the bustle skirt to pair with the many Victorian shirts I’ve accumulated, so I separated it out. There is currently an issue with the bow’s texture when used with some of GildedGhost’s Victorian Visions shirts, but I will try and work that out in the future. If a more experienced modder is able to help, please do. There are many other shirts that work perfectly :)

Currently the skirt is in the original colours, but in the future I want to recolour it to match some popular existing pieces (Elfdor’s Ballgowns, GildedGhost’s pieces). Credit to @linzlu​ for the mesh and textures.

Here are four striped dress options for your 18th century sims!

There are four different variants of this dress for you to choose from.

Mix n' Match

Each dress comes in 121 swatches, all using @anachrosims 's Georgian and American Federal Palette.

Each swatch mixes top and skirt colors, so you can find something that fits your sim perfectly.

The dress itself is based on my previous 18th century dress recolor.

That dress was recolored from @anachrosims 's recolor of @sunlittides 's 18th century dress.
