The Houses Going to Uni

gryffindor: probably the one to take a gap year, excited to get more freedom from fam, takes time to get into the rhythm of things but once they do they love it there, sad they can't bring their pets into the hostels.

hufflepuff: feels guilty about making new friends because they already hAve friends why should they get more?, is obsessed with thinking about uni as a "fresh start", loves the feeling of independence and capability, struggled to chose a course because they're passionate about everything.

ravenclaw: has known exactly what they've wanted to do since like age 11, excited to learn something new but not excited to start getting homework again, is the expert at cooking and cleaning for themselves, what's their family going to do without them when they move out?

slytherin: picks a uni that couldn't be further away from home, lots of arguing with parents about where they're going and what they should be doing, dreading having to share a bathroom with strangers, really sad to leave a lot of people behind but so ready to make new friends.

I’m gonna challenge myself by attempting to do something for every day of  @felicity-the-cat ‘s  “Slytember Challenge”.

Here’s my entry for day two (prompt: Ancestor)

I wanted to do a female Cooper ancestor. But I couldn’t settle on just one. So I did all three of the canon female Coopers that we know of:

Naturally, I had to start with the coolest one.

All we know about Karin Coopergiwa is that she invented the coin magnetism move (which caused nearby coins to float over to Sly). So I imagine her designing her cane with a magnet at the top to attract nearby treasures to her

All we know about Suzanne Cooper is that she created the Water Safety move (which kept Sly from taking damage when he fell in the water). So I thought it would be fun to imagine her being so paranoid about drowning that she attached tiny inner tubes to her cane so she could use it as a flotation device in a pinch

I’m gonna challenge myself by attempting to do something for every day of @felicity-the-cat ‘s SlyTember Challenge

Here’s my entry for day Twenty Three (Unlikely Meeting)

I opted to do a new drawing based on an AU idea I scribbled out a few years back. In the AU, I changed the ending of the China Chapter in Sly 3 so that the boys get captured by Tsao and his goons during the Jing King rescue mission and Penelope & Jing have no choice but to turn to Carmelita for help

Here it is if you’re interested (and, again, it’s old. So forgive the wonky scribbling):

I scribbled out this idea because I thought it would be fun to re-write the China level so that Carmelita, Penelope, and Jing King eventually meet up and have to do something cool together.

I also wanted to change it so that Sly 3 has at least ONE positive, non-violent interaction between Sly&Carmelita before they run off together at the end of the game. So I settled on her letting Sly and his team go free because she knows they’re the only ones equipped to save Penelope.
