So I'm dying to ask nosy questions about Villain!Nat... Do you think she'd still be part of Unit Bravo and just biding her time til she can act out her plans? Or would she have been a rogue element the whole time? Would she and Ava have any kind of personal rivalry (sexy or otherwise) or just be obstacles in each other's paths? 👀

I’m sorry it took me so long to reply to this, haha, but I spent the entire last half of my shift thinking about it and realized it was gonna be too long just to write it all in a post, so I had to make a document and then copy/paste it over lol.

I don’t think she’d be part of UB (but can you imagine how much fun it would be if she was? Just waiting, and waiting, and waiting, and keeping up the façade…)

Villain!Nat would work better as more of a rogue, I think. I can see her being mostly on her own ever since her turning. Imagine: never being found by the Agency after the massacre on The Queen’s Sabre, never really being guided or taught by anyone other than the vampire who turned her, and then being set loose. 

It would all come down to that whole “nature vs. nurture” thing. A lot of who you are is shaped by the environment around you.

She’d never have had the support she received in the canon. There’d still be a lot of her personality that’s the same; she’d have a love for reading and collecting old books, she’d still be a little old-fashioned as time went on, etc. She’d just be more like the vampires in the traditional books, reclusive in some grand, old home out in the middle of nowhere. 

She’d also still be capable of love and affection and her usual overprotectiveness… she just wouldn’t be aware of it for a very, very long time. And in the moments where it’s staring her down, she’d hide it away and lock it up. 

Ava and Nat would have a rivalry (sexy, of course, because there isn’t much that’s hotter than the intimacy of being sworn enemies. The combat scenes would be gorgeous. Also, it would hurt to watch… which means it would be even more fun, haha :) )

Naturally, Ava would make it more difficult for Nat to ignore her emotions, lol. And she wouldn’t understand them a lot. She’d end up deciding that “hate” is the way she feels, because there isn’t any way it could be love. That’s impossible. Natalie Sewell doesn’t love people. Right? So loathing has to be what it is. 

I’m a sucker for anything poly so consider: throwing the Detective into the mix. It would be like a much, much darker take of the LT route, haha.

Maybe she hears some rumors about the vampire who’s going around killing humans who have a very special blood mutation, and she gets curious. She’s a collector, after all, and a human with blood like that would be priceless and a very good addition to her collection. We already know there’s someone leaking Agency info, so maybe she finds out that way? Probably not until after the events of book one.

So she follows after UB. Naturally, Ava has a suspicion they’re being watched, because she and Nat know each other better than they know themselves. Of course she catches on very, very quickly, but does her best to keep it under wraps. Easier to keep an eye on her that way. 

We also all know how good Nat is at lying and wearing masks. It’d be easy to convince the Detective she’s someone they can trust, especially after they've been thrown headfirst into the supernatural world without any real say in the matter. Nat would be drawing them in under the guise of stealing them away, only to discover–to her horror–that they intrigue her far more than they should. Only… this confuses her. Because the Detective makes her feel the same way Ava does, and there’s no way she can hate them. 

Que an emotional journey full of inner turmoil as Nat tries to come to terms with the fact that she’s capable of softer feelings, after all. And that she might not be so cold-hearted as she thinks. I imagine it would be very long and very painful, because she has three centuries of habits and beliefs (lies that someone hammered into her brain) to unlearn. She’d be fighting it every single step of the way, all while trying to keep it hidden. 

Villain!Nat would be more obsessive, just because I think it’d be a nice touch. Especially as she’s forced to face the truth: that she’s falling in love with her adversary of three hundred years, and a human, of all things. How terrifying. 

As much as I love angst and hurt, it would come to a happy ending. Eventually. Everyone loves a redemption arc, right? I don’t know how it would all come to a head. Maybe in the middle of a battle, maybe while facing down other rogues, and she realizes she might very well lose the two people who mean the most to her. 

Y’know how in ATLA, the gang kind of adopts Zuko? Imagine that, but with UB, haha.

Sorry, lol. This is probably way longer and way more detailed than you wanted, but I’m a sucker for any and all kinds of AUs and this was so much fun. Thank you, friend! You made the last four hours of my shift way more enjoyable, haha <3

Like the accidental marriage AU earlier, this is one that does already exist in my WIP folder! I'm hoping to tackle it in the first half of 2024; it takes a LOT more planning than I'm used to hahaha. So let's go.

ONE: The first time Alex comes across the famous Henry Fox, he's convinced it's a fakeout. There's no way someone that genteel, that pretty, is the sort of hitter that even the most hardened criminals whisper about with a mixture of fear and respect in their voices.

(The second time he comes across the famous Henry Fox is the day the team comes together, and if he wasn't in the room, he'd be convinced Nora doctored the footage—Henry takes out eight mooks without breaking a sweat, the lock of hair falling across his face and one scrape on his knuckle where one idiot opened their mouth right before Henry punched him in it the only evidence Henry had anything to do with the bodies lying at his feet in varying degrees of pain. Alex is impressed, grateful, and more than a little turned on.)

TWO: Nora is a terrible grifter. Absolutely atrocious. After a few disastrous attempts, they all agree that if the choices are between Nora grifting, and abandoning the con... well, you can't win 'em all.

THREE: Pez brings them together as a team, but June is their glue. She's the one who finds clients, and who keeps them... well, not honest, but on the right path.

FOUR: Henry worries, when he and Alex get together, when Nora and June and Pez are doing whatever it is they're doing, that Bea will feel like some sort of sixth wheel. He needn't have been concerned—Bea and Alex are a terrifyingly chaotic duo, Bea and June combine their big sister energy when needed, Bea and Nora occasionally disappear for a side job the rest of them know better than to ask about, and Bea and Pez gang up on Henry at any given opportunity. Some days it feels like she's the star they're all orbiting.

FIVE: Nora doesn't tell the rest of them—not even June and Pez—but she has contingency plans on top of contingency plans for when any or all of them get burned. There are fake identities living whole lives, at least according to their digital footprint, that any of them will be able to jump into at a moment's notice. The crew is her family, and she'll keep them safe.

this is random but this scenario has been on my mind, out of curiosity how do you think joker would react to someone about to commit suicide? like he so happens to walk by them about to let themselves fall off a bridge or shoot themselves or something. would he just ignore it, sit and watch or talk to them or even kill them himself for fun? (or possibly even find it in himself to empathize with them and help??)

it’s mostly interesting to me because he goes on about “people in their last moments” and he likes to expose people being cowards and scared of death and such. but what happens when someone clearly isn’t afraid and even wants to die?

and Ledger delivered that speech sitting on the floor!! He is him! Moving on. I think Joker would be stupefied if someone was unafraid of death. Someone that embraces it and (disturbingly) makes the situation beautiful or poetic would shake his psyche.

Imagine! 🃏

Joker is lurking around the alleyways of Gotham City letting the night fly by when he comes across someone standing on a tall building. Like on the ledge arms stretched out with their head titled back.

He approaches them and clicks his tongue which gets their attention. "Don'T do iT. There's uhh, more to life than... this." He gestures to the long fall. "You'd only make a mess."

He thought his dark humor would get them to question things but they shake their head.

"No there isn't. I've made up my mind. I'm ready."

Joker eyes them warily. He's not used to this type of potential jumper. They actually sound sincere. "Ready for what? At this height your best outcome is a broken leg." He's lying, the building is over ten stories tall, but it gets the person to finally look at him over their shoulder.

In that moment J sees their tears despite the smile on their face. The juxtaposition is jarring.

"Why you crying?" He asks.

They chuckle and turn to face the edge again. The wind disrupts their balance, causing them to sway back and forth but they stay on the ledge. For now. Joker moves closer out of instinct. Why does he feel uneasy about this? Should he step in and stop them?

Usually people step down from the ledge by now.

"You won't understand; I'm happy. This isn't an end, I'm simply embracing my new beginning with open arms." They close their eyes as Joker's widen. He yells at them to stop, but he's too late.

By the time he makes it to the ledge, their body is already in freefall. He watches their beginning unfold with a horrified expression. Was it madness, a delusion? What beginning could someone embrace with such a brutal end?

The entire walk back to your apartment he's troubled to his core. It doesn't make any sense. Joker believed that people showed their true colors in their final moments.

Joker was unsure if they were a coward for toughing it out or truly the strongest person alive for taking matters into their own hands. Joker hasn't been the same since.

This new fic idea of yours has me thinking about DLID and the live version of “The Go” where Matty changes the lyrics from the recorded version from “Get out of George’s drive” to something that sounds like “Lying on the street …. at George’s house” and then he sings “I swear that’s George’s house” and then it sounds like he literally turns to George and says “that’s you 😘”.

It’s just crazy to reflect on how much history Matty has with all of the boys but especially George who he has been name dropping in songs since they were literal children. It just seems like George has always been this presence within Matty’s identity and honestly something/someone he has seemed so obsessed with - I can understand why the others might have felt subpar in the past.

It’s equal parts beautiful and sad now looking at how they are still clearly so deeply connected (I honestly don’t think they connection is reversible by any means) although they clearly experienced growing pains which altered their relationship as a unit. It feels like in order to grow up they had to face the fact that being obsessed with each other while trying to have girlfriends and find separate identities was ultimately unsustainable at the level they were operating at. Despite this “change” in their relationship I still believe that they both remain completely devoted to each other over mostly anyone else if it came down to it. It just seems like they each serve a part of the other that no one else does.

This is what makes Matty’s dynamic with Ross so interesting because there are so many similarities whilst also being so different.

Those are just my thoughts!

And I hope you don't mind me saying this but you sound very Team George! I agree with everything you've said, and I mean it's not like they (Matty, mostly) haven't confirmed it in the past. They're, or maybe used to be, an extension of each other's personalities/minds and yeah, it certainly sounds like their relationship for years and years and years was codependency at its finest. Even when, last year, a certain someone mentioned Couples Therapy (the show) and then explained what said show was about, Matty went ahead and just said "sounds like me and you". So, you know. We'd be forgiven to think (correctly) that every bit of speculation on what they might have been (and in some aspect still are) to and with each other may be very close to the truth.

That being said, I am curious. What is your opinion about what's happening between Matty and Ross at the moment? As in, why do you find it interesting? What are the similarities and the differences you notice, and why is it all so compelling?

I don't know a girl who doesn't steal her bf's clothes now and again, and Talia is no different. T shirts to sleep in, jacket to pop outside in the rain, or his shirt when she's trying to be enticing 😉

Burke might borrow a scarf or something if it's lying around (which I imagine it always is), but he thinks about his image so it would have to match.

8. What happens if one of them gets sick?

If Burke got sick Tali would be a great nurse. She might surprise him really with how soft she becomes. And quite a lot of her dad's knowledge stuck (she was always smarter than the GOAT said) so an effective one too. Depending how sick he was, he'd just carry on as normal, not letting on, and probably get annoyed at her fussing over him. If it really knocked him out though, well, he'd appreciate her help so no one learned he was sick (sickness = weakness!!), but he would also be pretty arsey company.

If Tali got sick he'd expect her to just get on with it as well, though she isn't the type to whine. But would he offer up a lot of support? It hurts him a little to see her hurting, but I'm not sure he'd acknowledge that until she was already upset with him :( Boy is learning. Tali would be used to having to get on with things, considering how the vault was quite short on population to maintain it. But daddy was a doctor so she’d be missing that compassionate medical aid, it was a time when she got most attention from James and now probably the least from Burke. ☹

14. How do their personalities compliment each other? How do they clash?

Burke is thorough, careful, unbothered by fools, so things won’t get out of hand with Talia’s impulsivity and temper. He has to have everything under control and Tali can see it so it calms her down a lot.

Talia likes to joke around, is headstrong and outspoken, so maybe Burke doesn’t take himself so seriously so constantly. She’s also very sociable and likeable, and perhaps it rubs off on him so he can be a bit more normal. (Moriarty does call him a ‘class A weirdo’ or something in game haha, I think I toned him down a bit but he should have some oddball vibes hehe).

How they clash, hmm, I think they can both be stubborn, leading to fights. Neither wants to apologise after a fight. They both struggle to admit weakness, express their needs, stymying deeper intimacy... At least for now.

19. How do they feel about PDA?

If Burke wants to engage, to any level, he will. He doesn't care. What's going to happen, someone will see them and he'll feel embarrassed?? He doesn't know the meaning of the word. I feel like I wrote him more sombre from the middle-latter part of the fic, but he's quite unpredictable if he's feeling up for some antics (general antics, not just 👀 lol). However if he doesn’t want to or it would put out the wrong image at the time he will shut it down abruptly, even just holding hands. It's quite confusing to be dating him.

Talia doesn't mind doing it, seeing it, whatever. Except for ghouls. Seeing that probably topped seeing a ghoul for the first time as the Scariest Moment of her life (or maybe just new category, Grossest Sight).

26. What are their vices?

Haha, well Burke is almost all vice isn't he? Greed, arrogance, jealousy, wrath, deceit, and the boozing and smoking. I feel like they drink more around each other, when things are coasting along quite well anyway. 

Talia has always been struggling with anger and doubt, though she gains a lot of self confidence and pride in surviving Events, and being around Burke is only going to gas her up more hehe.

30. Your OTP gets to pick out each other's outfits; what is each wearing?

Burke is going to pick some evening gown or cocktail dress isn’t he? With sexy shoes completely impractical for walking anywhere, and underwear that he doesn’t realise can’t be worn with the dress because the straps show or something.

Talia would just try to dress him more casual, with a bit of attitude. She like the bad boys. I imagine she somehow got him wearing a chain or two...

minnie: at first, crowley thought of her as a sweet and gentle girl who can do no wrong. come on, she looks so cute! but then.. minnie opened her mouth. and that's when crowley realized that she's actually gonna be that ramshackle student who will annoy him the most. minnie is always here to call him out when he "forgets" that he has to find a way to help ramshackle students go back to their world and she once said that crowley is probably making them stay here on purpose so that they could deal with nrc students and do his work. so crowley prefers to.. avoid her. whenever he's talking to ramshackle students and she's about to say something, he goes "okay bye" and disappears. she always calls him a coward for that. 

seth: ah, what an interesting young man! crowley definitely likes seth more than minnie, not only because of his more chill personality, but also because.. seth doesn't really want to go back to his world. hmm, crowley wonders why? could it be.. maybe seth's world was too cruel for him and that's why he ended up liking twisted wonderland more? however, seth not knowing how some things work makes even someone like crowley worried. but he doesn't really want to explain anything to him.. eh, other students will take care of him then.

minnie: jade knows well that minnie doesn't enjoy his company, but he still thinks that she's a very interesting person. also he can't deny that her reactions to everything he says are amusing. jade wants to know why minnie doesn't get along with male students, he's sure that she's just afraid of them.. but why? what could possibly happen to her in the past? maybe jade could help her feel more comfortable around them.. but he knows that he's not the best person to do that, he will just end up making her even more scared of them.

seth: seth is one of the few (or maybe only one) ramshackle students who actually like jade a lot and don't find him scary or weird, so jade enjoys spending time with him a lot. seth also likes to listen to jade talk about mushrooms and doesn't find it annoying at all, in fact, he wants jade to tell him more about them. jade does find his curiosity endearing, though he is surprised that seth doesn't care about his safety at all: he will try to eat any mushroom he finds pretty, he doesn't even think of it being poisonous. jade knows that he should worry about him, but.. it is just a little bit funny to him. seth also reminds him of floyd in a way, so yeah, maybe he does have a soft spot for him. well, he definitely doesn't hate him.

minnie: OH FLOYD LOVES HER A LOT. when he met her for the first time, he was like: "omg she's just like goldfishie but.. like a girl versionl!! :O" he also finds it cool that minnie is always ready to fight him and she doesn't just go: "stop it, floyd >:(", no, SHE WILL PUNCH HIM IF HE ANNOYS HER TOO MUCH. oh, he's too tall for that? oh well, he can say bye to his kneecaps. floyd really loves to tease her and make her mad, maybe even more than riddle, hehe.. 

seth: floyd likes his energy! he thinks he's cool! seth's obliviousness and him not knowing a lot about this world and his own world makes floyd like him even more, his reactions to everything are so adorable! it's so easy to surprise him! however.. sometimes floyd feels like there's something wrong with his reactions. it's like seth is lying to him. sometimes floyd feels like seth is only pretending to be so surprised. but floyd knows that seth is not playing dumb and he genuinely doesn't know that much, so why does he still have a feeling that seth is actually more apathetic than he seems? well.. let's just say that floyd doesn't like to see him pretend to be entertained. hey, what's the deal with this guy? does he actually not care about what's going on? he's so boring sometimes..

😈 "what relationship does your oc have with lilia?"

minnie: what a cute girl! lilia sure finds her interesting. she's not afraid to speak her mind, she's always ready to fight anyone who messes with her.. but lilia can tell that she's scared. it's obvious that she doesn't know what to do and she feels lost in a school full of guys and she doesn't know if she can trust them. lilia has a feeling that she's been betrayed by someone in the past. why? oh, she reminds him of avery and he knows about his trust issues and why he has them. he learned about that from roland. still, lilia hopes that she will be able to become friends with some guys here. oh, what about sebek? they sure have a lot in common.

seth: lilia likes both of them, but yeah, it's much easier for him to talk to seth rather than minnie. lilia finds it adorable how seth is so innocent, but he still wants everyone to rely on him. lilia likes his style a lot too. but he still can tell that seth also has a lot of issues. seth feels like a real nrc student to him, seth got used to this world too quickly, it's like he was waiting to escape his own world. but.. is twisted wonderland really the best choice for seth? sure, it's a whole new world for him to explore, it must feel exciting to him.. but what will happen when seth gets sick of it? and judging from seth's reactions to nrc students overblotting.. this world can easily start feeling like prison to seth instead of home.

Lately, it was like living in an eternal and suffocating dilemma... being stuck in the task of choosing between two very difficult options for you.

Despite you hated very much the idea of being seen as a dead weight, someone who needed to be protected all the time, you also didn't want to be a liar anymore.

Lying meant losing trust and you didn't want to lose Suhyeok's trust, however, to be honest, you had been lying to him for so long that now the idea of telling the truth made you feel afraid of him. More than from the zombies.

Unfortunately, sooner or later, he and the others would find out. The way you looked sick and the symptoms becoming more and more frequent...

"Are you okay? You look like you're going to throw up again. "Suhyeok commented, checking you carefully, but you were only staring at the flames of the bonfire in the center of the rooftop.

"I... I-I need to tell you something," you said, feeling a strong anxiety taking over your body.

"What is it?"

"W-well... I'm... I.... " you swallowed hard. "I'mpregnant!" you let the words coming out of your mouth real quick before your courage left you.

"W-what?"

"I'm pregnant, Suhyeok!" without noticing, you ended up speaking louder than you should, loud enough for everyone around to hear.

"Pregnant?"

The faces of everyone around showed great shock at the news and you regretted what you had said at that very moment.

Suhyeok stood up quickly and your heart raced up as he grabbed you by your arm, the force on his grip making you sigh. He led you to a more private corner in the roof.

"Why didn't you tell me before? Are you really... ?"

You nodded slowly, avoiding looking directly into his intense eyes.

"I was afraid...I was so afraid of everything. Of my parents' reaction, of other people's reaction, especially of your reaction." you felt your eyes getting filled with tears, but you hold them back.

"You should never be afraid to tell me anything." Suhyeok replied, his hand still holding your wrist, but not as tightly as before. "How long have you been... ?"

"A- a month... "

"A month? Seriously?"

"Actually I tried to tell you before... a few times..." you admitted and Suhyeok actually could remember about the times you seemed like wanting to tell him something and then commented that you had forgotten what it was, causing the boy to make jokes about you having bad memory problems. "And to make things even worse, this nightmare started, so I.. "

Suhyeok didn't seem to be paying attention on you anymore, he seemed lost in his own thoughts, so you stopped trying to explain yourself.

He was very angry with you now, wasn't he?

Feeling your heart breaking into a thousand pieces, you decided to leave him alone and return to sit with the group around the bonfire.

"It is very dangerous for a pregnant girl to stay here. We will protect you at all costs, y/n." Joon Yeong was the first to say something.

"Yeah, we won't let those fucking zombies get anywhere near you." Dae su agreed vehemently.

"Thanks, guys." you gave them a weak smile, trying hide how your were feeling at that moment.

"So... how long have you two been together? I imagined that Suhyeok was into you but I thought you didn't feel the same." Hyo Ryeong said, looking curious.

"It's kind of obvious, Suhyeok couldn't take his eyes off her even during classes." Joon Yeong commented.

Rosa. I don't have much to add, i'm just happy the old essence of the character is back! This confirms she was mostly been used by beemov in MCLU (and... A little bit in this season too? Like, when she says "it would've been totally fine if you found someone else in this four years", maybe to ease the guilt of those who played and married other routes, lol.) Overall, super sweet when she implied how supportive she was of their relationship, and how she acknowleadge the fact distance was a hard test they had to overcome. And how she admired and respected that.

I was curious since Rosa mentioned some sort of pact? Lys and Candy had. Ngl, I was kind of shocked when they talked over dinner about it, and it turned out to be about "in case of finding someone else, we would tell each other". I mean, don't get me wrong, I think this sort of conversation is the mature thing to do (and is probably one of the reasons why they're still together: having difficult conversations is necessary), but it still itched me a bit hahah :( it all seems to tell us it was because of Lysander, and how jealous and insecure he could get in the past. So I can imagine they reached a decisive point (maybe an angsty one) in their relationship, where they probably had to get to this agreement for both their sakes. I want to write an scenario about this AAAA it's gonna be painful

Lysander is still forgetful, lol, and now has a phone that pays the consecuences because of how often he loses it.

I've seen people a little salty about the fact he named the rabbit 'Rosa' (because we remember the old crush with Rosalya) but honestly I didn't see it like that 😂 besides he tells the story behind the name like one of his fond memories with Candy: the first time they went out, although not alone :') and Rosa that ate way too much that day.

The little details they kept about his high school personality *-* the blushes, the nervous and some clumsiness, although... bolder to express his desires, like how he wanted to sleep with her again 💞💞💞 my heart was melting™

As a Zuko stan I was just curious : do you think you'd have hated Zuko less if he wasn't wanked to oblivion by the fandom or not? I'm not talking about "liking him more" or even finding "redeeming qualities" about him. I was just wondering if you'd have hated him less if the fandom didn't overrate him to the point of creating the entirely different "fanon Zuko uwu boi". I also recall you stating that you weren't fond of the FN in general : why don't you like, say Iroh or Ty Lee? 👀

Yes, I probably would have hated him less in that case, with some caveats:

No fucking lying about Aang's intentions or actions toward Katara (ie saying he raped her, and yes, people do say that shit)

No softpedaling Combustion Man. Zuko hired a hit man to fucking kill a 12 year old. Period.

No giving him credit just for trying (and usually fucking failing) not to be a bigoted fuck.

No lying that he's stronger than Aang at anything. At the end of the day, he's not even a better fucking Firebender than Aang.

In other words, if Zuko was treated the way that, say, Toph was -- a secondary character who had importance to the plot but was very much a secondary character and was almost always called out on her bullshit, bending elitism, and selfishness -- then I still wouldn't have liked him, but I would have not liked him the way I don't like Jet or Azula -- kind of mild hatred but nothing too big. And at least Zuko would be in his place as a secondary character if fandom didn't have its collective tongue up his ass every time he refrains from shitting on someone's culture or shrugging off the fucking colonialism inaugurated by the douchelords that preceded him.

I'm Japanese. I get that the FN is not a 1-to-1 comparison to Imperial Japan or pre-WWII Japan, but it has enough of the hallmarks, including the colonization of other nations nearby and the feeling of superiority to others. I had relatives who were interned in the US during WWII. On the other side, I had relatives who fought for the emperor and were part of the military that colonized other parts of Asia and SE Asia and treated the people there like fucking peasants. A lot of that is replicated in the show and it makes me uncomfortable knowing the deep history of my people that Westerners simp for these fucks.

There's enough in the FN that reminds me of stories that I've heard from relatives who lived that shit. I have real life Yu Dao folks in my family. Someone like Iroh, who we're supposed to feel sorry for because he's not as much of an asshole as his brother, is a fucking war criminal who killed a shit ton of people mercilessly, by fucking fire. But he cried a couple of times and his beard is funny and he makes tea, so we're supposed to kiss his ass? Fuck that.

Ty Lee is a cipher. I don't hate her, per se, but she's just sort of there and doesn't need to be. There's no real reason for Ty Lee's existence except to show the typical FN noble girl who doesn't gaf about who she inconveniences and is pretty much fine with the state of things, whatever they are. She never speaks out against the war or who was hurt. We're supposed to "assume" that her joining the Kyoshi Warriors meant she turned over a different leaf, but it was probably just her bulling her way into the group and the other Kyoshi Warriors deciding to shrug it off. Ty Lee probably would have been just fine with things if Aang had lost and Ozai had taken over everything. She was the prototypical FN girl who didn't gaf unless something touched on her personally.

Mai was the only person with something resembling gumption and a knowledge of just how fucked up FN society was, but they had to have her simp for Fucklord the Third.

Litterly haven't been on tumblr is a minute and the ending of sequels suck WAS INSANE. I WAS SCREAMING THE WHOLE WAY. I can't believe Dewey and Ray survived 😭 OUR BOYS. I was not expecting Billy to just turn on Stu like that either 😭 Ik he'd side with his mom, but DANG.

Yeah Billy's entire everything was his mom when you really think about it. So reuniting with a mom he thought he'd never see again vs a partner in crime that had betrayed him in the past (Billy is petty af if u screw him over once he'll remember that shit forever)...He's picking his mom. Even if he realized she might not be the mom he knew and loved anymore.

It was a scene that got deleted on my part where we were going to do Dewey and Gale's perception with the video tapes and Ray and us arguing over Billy and Stu after Ray tries to kiss us. Mickey was the one that saw it all and filmed it and heard it but he just thought we were seeing shit (none of them actually thought they were alive and there until they saw them with their own eyes)

We technically are living in an isolated life but somewhere along the lines Stu found us and started coming around once in a blue moon. We definitely haven't forgave him but considering Windsor and his help we feel like we should? It's definitely very mixed emotions with Stu and us. We care, we secretly are still attracted to him but we also have our wits about us and know he's fucked in the head and we don't want to be Hallie and Mickey.

I see others have already asked about the ones I'm more curious about... except the REAL TMA fic 👀💕

This is another one I’m hoping to post someday! I went through several drafts of TMA fics that didn’t go anywhere after season 4 ended, and then I landed on an idea I loved a LOT in November 2019. I wanted to play with the idea of time travel (which wasn’t really common in TMA fandom back then, although I hear it’s exploded with time travel fics now lol). 

The premise behind it is that Martin and Jon sent themselves back in time to avert the apocalypse and then started living their lives again from 2012ish with NO memory of what happened...until Gertrude runs into Jon in a tube station and realizes he’s been touched by all seven fears, so she sends Martin to spy on him.

This is probably my saddest abandoned wip to date because I dropped it at 23,000 words in! 😭 I really like it though so I am hoping once I finish S5...whenever that is...I can incorporate elements from S5 into it and then finish it all up and post it, and hopefully fandom won’t be sick of time travel fics by then.

Here’s an excerpt from the beginning!

Gertrude glanced around the room before returning her piercing gaze to Martin. “You’re the best researcher at investigating the background of people from our statements,” she said. Martin blinked; he wasn’t sure where she’d heard that, as it was hardly true.

“That’s not—“ he began.

She cut him off. “I need you to look into someone for me.”

Martin’s hands were clammy. Gertrude was just the Head Archivist; there was no reason for her to set off his fear response. It wasn’t like she killed people or anything. She was just a very scary librarian.

“Who is it?” Martin asked, embarrassed at the high register of his voice. He heard a snort from the direction of Tim’s desk but didn’t dare look away from Gertrude.

Gertrude passed him a folder. “I did the preliminaries. His name is Jonathan Sims.” Martin took the file with a shaking hand, opening it to find printouts of information on the man in question. Sims was 28 years old, lived on the northern edge of Balham, and worked a political think tank that researched international relations policy. Martin flipped the page over to find a picture of a man who looked less like he was 28 and more like he was a decade beyond that, with graying dark hair, glasses, and scars down the side of his face.

Something about the picture hit him like a punch in the gut, but he didn’t know why. He stared at the image of the man in front of him, feeling his heart pounding, and tried to remind himself that he may be somewhat of a disaster of a person, but he did not need to be attracted to a man who he was supposed to be investigating.

“Why are we looking into him?” Martin asked, glancing up at Gertrude again. She was watching him carefully, as though she could see his traitorous heart pounding through the layers of skin and sinew.

“He has a statement for me,” Gertrude said. “He just hasn’t made it yet. I want to know what it is and I want you to convince him to come to see me.”

Martin blinked. “So this is less investigation and more…persuasion?”

“Sims is skittish,” said Gertrude. “I spooked him last night and he ran from me. Whatever he’s hiding, he’s not going to be easy to persuade to come in here.” She frowned down her glasses at him. “I need you to befriend him, gain his trust.”

“Oooh,” Tim murmured from behind his computer. “Martin the spy.”

Gertrude shot him a Look and Tim gave a yelp, silencing almost instantly. In Martin’s periphery, he could see Sasha shaking her head at both of them.

“I’m not—I’m not a good liar, I don’t think I can—“

Gertrude gave him a look that felt like it was boring into the very core of him. “You’re lying to me right now, Martin,” she said, very calmly. “And remarkably well. I think this is an assignment that will suit you perfectly.” She turned on her heel and made her way back to the door.

“Sure,” Martin squeaked. “I’ll do it.” At least it would get him out of the Institute occasionally.

Gertrude turned and gave him a small perfunctory smile. “I know,” she replied. “I need to have Jonathan’s statement by the end of March.” With that, she was gone, leaving only a faint hint of flowery perfume in her wake.
