hey remember jensen talking about a dream he had before they started filming the final spn season? something about dean getting out of baby and onto a motorbike and riding off on his own and that being dean’s ending.

symbolic as hell. and also, ya know, character growth. dean no longer defined by his father’s car, no longer perpetually waiting for his brother to take the passenger seat. choosing his own road, for the first time.

then the real spn finale happened and dean is killed by the narrative some rebar and finds baby in heaven like a reminder that he never ever escaped this path that was chosen for him before he was even born and jensen is so pissed off that he literally drives that car straight into his own AU fix-it fan fic.

honestly, sir, that is borderline petty and I love it. carry on.
