If you don't know Strange Tomato, she's one of my best Simming friends. Endlessly creative, caring and genuine, she is one of the nicest people I've never met! 😉 But we've been virtual friends for many years, talking all things Strangetown, Drag Race and watching our lives develop away from the keyboards.

For her birthday, I wanted to pay tribute to how much her creativity and storytelling continue to inspire me, by recreating her 'Ophelia's Flower Shop'. A charming little lot created for her amazing story universe and her spin on The Sims 2 premades.

Happiest of birthdays, ST. I adore you. 💙

I have to catch up quick - where is the beginning? I can’t find the update! Where is the update! something i started on months ago, actually. i ended up quitting on it multiple times because i started being overly ambitious with it and doing extra shit with it, but i need to get the texture files out of my downloads so—

i just like this outfit for skip :) and i like this body type on skip as well, not much else to it. this download includes:

the lean bodybuilder outfit w/morphs + repositoried version (AM)

A teen version of the same outfit in Strangetomato's colors, because I couldn't find it (if it does exist then just download mine ;)

a top only version on Skell's separated mesh + repositoried versions (TM & AM)

All repo'd files are linked to the original ST files & the maxis TSS files, so TSS is required for those four recolors.

⚠️ ALWAYS USE THE HOODCHECKER AFTER INSTALLING A NEW NEIGHBORHOOD AND/OR ADDING A SUBHOOD. The HC will clean up messy memories, fix IDs incorrectly associated to other sims, and recover missing tombstones and urns. Always have no-unlink on deleted in your download folder for avoid unlinked character data and use the Urnstone Spawner for respawn manually the tombstones if the HC fail to recover them.

Paraiso En Las Rocas (If I can, I would also recommend to download the empty version (or populated, if you don't mind mixing up premades and OCs) of Paraiso En El Mar, because I think they complement each other. PEEM has so many gorgeous community lots! You can use PEEM as Main and PELR as subhood or do the opposite. Personally I would fill the empty version of PEEM with the DV, RVH and BC premades (or just choose some of them) since PELR has all the PV, ST and VV premades + one from BWV)

i haven't been here in years so i'm very limited right now sadly! there are lots of gameplay simblrs i follow but for actual traditional stories i only know a few!

my favorite one is still active (emperor of the dark by @emperorofthedark)

then you have the classics like fortune and romance by @whattheskell and strangetown, here we come by @strangetomato

bunheadbuns on lj had one called pixel peaks that was pretty cool but sadly photobucket watermarked all the pics. i would still read it tbh

@yakumtsaki has a pet asylum (electra!!!!) that is pretty entertaining also apparently a story that i need to read since i didn't know it existed til i went looking for the pet link??? so add no love lost too lol

you probably knew all of those since most of them have been around for ages but i honestly have been so out of the loop! so if anyone wants to add to this i'm also all ears lol.

Taking a break from Walden, and also going back to my roots, I decided to replay Strangetown...but with a twist! @strangetomato​ envisioned a Strangetown where the mystery is fresh again, and familiar characters may not be entirely the way you remember them. 

I also used @plumbtales​ genetically-correct Strangetown premades, to switch things up even more.

So, what is going on in Strangetown? Well, that’s what I’m planning to find out.

I’ll begin the journey with the Singles, who, as before, are four roommates with very different personalities. However...

Lola Curious

Outgoing and Nice, Lola is very much a “people person”, even if some consider her a bit of a bore. She has tried her hand at working several different jobs, including as a life coach, professional blogger and campaign manager for a local politician. Most recently, she got it into her head to try and break into show biz.

Chloe Curious

Chloe is Outgoing like her sister, but far less serious and nice. Life is just one big party for Chloe, and if somebody else gets to pick up the bill, all the better. She is the first to deny any claims that she’s not quite the shallow hedonist she claims to be - she has a reputation to maintain!

Kristen Loste

Kristen has always had difficulties in social situations, and more than once had her good nature taken advantage of, so moving in with three other people was a big step for her. She wants to try and come out of her shell more, and not only because it would help her ambitions of becoming a famous sports star.

Erin Beaker

Most people think Loki Beaker’s little sister is an absolute delight, and her interest in the paranormal an endearing quirk. A few Tarot cards short of a full deck, but harmless - except, of course, they’re wrong.

Edit to Aligeth's EF Cutwork Skirt Suit

So this is actually my first ever post for anything CC related. I was scrolling on Tegamifind's page when I saw this beautiful dress by Aligeth on Mod the Sims. I had to download it, but then I realized it was only available for formal wear.

So I decided to make this simple edit so that it is available in both the Everyday and Formal categories so both your rich elder ladies, as well as those ready for a nice Sunday brunch could both be glamorous! Comes in all 6 original colors.

Credits to Strangetomato for their clothing category tutorial, as well as Hat's SimPE tutorial for their helpful guide on making this possible. Please let me know if there's anything wrong as this is my first edit.

5) I don’t really CARE for ships but I do love a lot of them as long as it isn’t problematic. I really love Nervous x Pascal and also Pascal x Jace (a sim I made) and also once I get ACR I wil actually ship the 3 together for a poly ship!

6) The curious brothers! Actually Cindy (PleasantSims) inspired me to play Strangetown and first played the curious brothers

7) Seeing a lot of peoples post like (StrangeTomato and others) post on Strangetown and videos back in 2017. I was a really huge fan of them and many others and they inspired me to get into Strangetown. So if you see this, thank you. :)
