saw your most recent post about really good fics that contain uncomfortable kinks and i immediately thought "ah, biscia must be reading the mpreg soriel fic" and almost left a reply talking about it but i stopped myself because i realized that would be an insane assumption to make. needless to say i felt so vindicated when i saw you link it in an earlier post.

WHY pick the one tied to pregnancy #the ONE ASPECT that you decided was shared between both ''male'' and ''female'' skeletons #it's also like. objectively an argument that is leveraged to hurt and deny trans people irl so it was just. unbelievably uncomfortable #this is what we mean with mpreg and transphobia btw #not that the concept is inherently transphobic or hurtful to trans people #but that that kind of alternative biological worldbuilding implies an alternative social conception of gender role for the characters #that a lot of authors just. straight up miss. because their view of the world is still very cis/perisexist #BUT!!!!!!!!!! #it was still over all a very good fic. I'd rec it to pll not into that for the initial 2 chapters alone

finished my soul hackers 2 replay yyayyy. i bought the story dlc and i liked the sidequests, the superboss was kinda disappointing though, not for gameplay, they were incredibly difficult, but like. i expected at least a little lore or nana involvement in the end and there was neither which was sort of odd.

#shitpost #i did like all the extra character moments for everyone and nana was great! #also i did like that it was strictly sidequests with a LITTLE connection to main plot but not much. a good way to do dlc #just WEIRD to me that the superboss was just like. here's parvati and shiva. here's ardha. like. #they're good bosses. again. the fight is really good. but they don't have any relevant world/lore dialogue at all which is just. odd. #a weird choice for like. the optional superboss. to just like. #it'd be like if lucifer was just some guy #or the angels in digital devil saga if they weren't. the angels. lol #also technically like they're included in the paid dlc which makes it. weirder? idk #soul hackers 2 dlc is way too expensive too tbh. idk why its like the cost of over half the maingame if you got all the dlc #which i did not #annoying for ME too because i got the physical collector's edition but that only came with the basegame #so this irritated me for awhile lol. #but i did like the story dlc. it was fun and added nice moments and some good challenging fights #im just confused why the superboss was so irrelevant #i LOVE sh2 though i love you figue forever #can't wait to play agian and finally play on new game plus #i know new game plus has some additional quests AND #MOST IMPORTANTLY. it has hang out events with figue #which i want so bad #also finishing the soul matrixes even tho those are not as big of a deal since there's no more story #just like unlocking the abilities and the dialogue from the abilities though is so fun #i love u soul hackers 2

in the 3 weeks since starting Twilight Mirage I have listened to 41 (+00) eps. Literally 2 a day. Something is wrong in my brain

it’s literally so hard for me to Choose which game i actually like best in the series because like. there’s specific things that i do genuinely like about each one, but just as many things i actively dislike. in a weird way it all kinda balances out, if that makes sense??

like if i was asked on the spot i would most likely say sr1?? it’s the most cohesive plot-wise imo and i think has some of the strongest written characters/stories comparatively. but i really appreciate the intensity and stakes of sr2. and i really loved the syndicate/new characters and themes of srtt. and well ok i did Not like sr4 BUT i think the psychological horror of the personal hells/simulations was great and some interesting ideas were put forward but executed very poorly.

i’m working on like a. vague rewrite/AU of sorts to kinda streamline concepts from srtt and sr4 into something a little more. believable and in-line with the tone of the first two.

#it’s like. i love the world of sr as one big concept in my head. i love the journey of the boss #just kinda wish things stayed a little more. grounded? #it’s always been a parody yes but parody is not a strictly comedic avenue of storytelling #so when it really just. jumped the shark in sr4 i was like. ah. hm. no thanks😭😭 #again though if you love that game i love that for you. like i said i LOVED the psychological horror elements it had #and i’m leaning into that with my little AU thing.
