JurnalPost-com – Maharsyalfath Izlubaid Qutub Maulasufa (Alfath), mahasiswa program studi Ilmu Komunikasi, Universitas Bina Nusantara, BINUS Malang, sabet juara 1 tingkat nasional lomba menulis essay ilmiah AWC 2022. Tema lomba yakni “SGDs Efforts to Mitigate the Global Crisis” (Upaya SDGs untuk Mitigasi Krisis Global). Airlangga Writing Competition (AWC) merupakan ajang kompetisi esai internasional di bawah naungan Badan Eksekutif Mahasiswa Universitas Airlangga (BEM UNAIR) yang diikuti oleh cendekiawan dari dalam dan luar negeri. Subtema lomba terdiri dari 4 pilihan isu global, yaitu ekonomi, hukum, kesejahteraan, dan lingkungan. Maharsyalfath mengangkat subtema ekonomi kreatif, khususnya industri musik dan solusinya. Ia menulis esai ilmiah setebal 15 halaman, berjudul: “Innovations in Song-Making and Digital Music Arrangement Services Using Artificial Intelligence Technology to Support SDGs“. Menurut Maharsyalfath, musik merupakan industri kreatif yang mampu mendukung semua bagian dari SDGs. Sebab, musik dapat mengekspresikan moral, emosi, dan budaya. Melalui musik, generasi muda dapat membantu pemerintah dalam menyampaikan pesan pembangunan. Di dalam era modern, seorang audio engineer dituntut untuk bekerja cepat menyesuaikan dinamika pasar, dan ini tentu sangat melelahkan. Produser musik dapat bekerja hingga 24 jam sehari, 7 hari seminggu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan klien. Alfath, panggilan akrab Maharsyalfath, menawarkan solusi, yaitu penerapan teknologi kecerdasan buatan (AI) yang saat ini memudahkan para musisi untuk membantu memproduksi musik digital.
