Fun fact: To give an idea of how cynical some annotators of Dracula are, they will insist that a core theme of the book is how much the suitors hate and are jealous of each other, ONLY BECAUSE they don’t express any jealousy in the book, which means they’re obviously repressing it. Also all the open affection and warmth they show to each other is a “doth protest too much” cover because men would never be that affectionate towards a romantic rival. The proof that it’s all fake is that men can’t love each other like that!!

I totally forgot that it was canon that the Suitor Squad had a sleepover at Seward's house on the night of September 28th (what originally would've been Arthur's wedding night).
