Clearly, Prime needed a gentle nudge to get his head out of his arse, and contrary to popular belief, Fox was a good man and the least emotionally constipated of his batch.

But Alpha couldn’t believe that Prime was capable of feelings. A few men pointed out that, since Prime had taken a clone as a son, he might have feelings; but the majority couldn’t fathom Prime , karking Jango Fett, being into someone. Ninety-Nine was willing to believe that Prime had feelings, buried somewhere deep, but Ninety-Nine was goodness and kindness given clone shape. “

Spent the whole day pretending to be a New Yorker - running from train to train, catching this line to that line to penn station, striding around in my flat shoes with my heels in my purse - and lemme tells ya… I am NOT a New Yorker. That was A Stressful Day of Pretending. ™️

Currently heading back home to retreat into my Google docs like the quiet suburban introvert that I am.

I AM SORRY for the lag in posting the last few days- shit has been busy and wild but the next few are going to be s l o w so I plan on catching up on a TON of writing, responding to comments (🥺thank you from the depths of my soul for the love I’ve gotten so far on the June drabbles- i so very much appreciate all of you and I’m thrilled that you’re enjoying these stories!!) and also! I have a whole BUNCH of fics to rec and reblog from other writers that I’ve just been waiting for things to slow down so I can sit down and give them the attention they deserve, so LOOK OUT! Hello there!

Since this is my first post, I thought that it’d be nice to introduce myself.

I’m Laurel, in my mid-twenties and in love with many different kinds of crafts. I’ve been on tumblr for well over a decade (on my main blog), and thought that it might be nice to finally start sharing my hobbies. Partially, because I’d like to track what I’ll get done (craft-wise) in a year, partially to connect with other creative people.

I knit, crochet, sew (mainly clothes), embroider, and embark on general DIY adventures.

Some projects I’m currently working on:

A crochet blanket, following a free pattern from hobbii.

A crochet shawl, following a paid-for pattern from hobbii.

Knitting a black, lace-motive-front cardigen (just have to adjust the sleeve cuffs).

A “quest” to finally build myself a nice desk-area where I can do my makeup, following several different DIY videos and my own chaotic brain. (not sharing a picture of this one because the current state is an embarrassing mess).

I’m also trying to learn how to properly fill up holes in the bottom of socks, hopefully being able to. salvage some very comfy thick socks that I knit last year that already have big holes in the soles after just a few wears.

What is the current status of KOSA? As of last night, 2024-04-20, this is what congress.gov had to say about it:

I'm seeing lots of posts fearmongering about how it's passed the Senate and is now in the House.

I've seen coordinated attacks against the democratic process over the past 8+ years. It would not surprise me in the least to learn that this might be part of a coordinated attack to get us to let up pressure on our Senators, letting them think that we're suddenly okay with it.

Please remember that Tumblr can just as easily be used to spread misinformation as Twitter or Facebook or Instagram or TikTok. Check authoritative sources.

What I would do? Call your senators, your representative, and the White House switchboard to leave comments on pending legislation.

The government website says it's still in the Senate. Call your senators to oppose it as a current issue.

Call your representative to oppose it as a heads-up to ensure they are aware of it and your opposition.

Call the White House to ensure that President Biden knows not to sign it if it crosses his desk.

Former President Trump already destroyed 50 years of women's rights, and presided over the initial hysteria of the anti-trans groups. He appointed enough justices to the Supreme Court that we're guaranteed social regression until at least two conservative justices retire and are replaced with new Ruth Bader Ginsbergs. He and the GOP (he is basically synonymous with the GOP, after Laura was elected as co-chair) have done a huge amount of damage to our ways of life and our ability to address climate change and global warming. We need to say that enough is enough, and that they won't deprive us of our abilities to discuss the topics they find uncomfortable and want to prevent any kids from hearing about in any online spaces their kids could possibly stumble into.

OUR LIVES AND EXISTENCE AND CULTURE ARE NOT POLITICAL PAWNS TO BE BARTERED AWAY IN BACKROOM DEALS.

We must stand united, or divided we shall surely perish.

At that, he hesitated a little. The Cuy’val Dar knew that the clones were meant for the Jedi - but not anything else. The Mandalorian sergeants would probably skin Jango alive and carve demalgoka on his flesh if they knew the finer details, but that was because they hadn’t been at Galidraan. (Jango no longer viewed himself as a Mandalorian. No, that Jango had died with his men. This Jango had kept the armour because it was useful. This Jango had become the template to the clone army because the clones would be useful. This Jango clung desperately to remnants of the culture he was raised in, because if he let it go entirely he’d be completely lost.)”
