Wild probably would have been freaked out lmao - wolves aren't exactly friendly in his era and while i don't go out of my way to hunt them (they're friend shaped!) i would if they got too close.

Imagine. Wild has been travelling alone for a few days in this strange new world, and he can't take the Aspect off. He finally finds a nice hollow tree stump or something to sleep in, figuring he's safe.

He wakes up to something in his face. Something wet and cold.

He opens his eyes.

NOSE? NOSE IN FACE? WHY? WOLF NOSE? PANIC! PANIC!

Wild makes a shriek! and does that cat thing where he jumps a mile in the air, back arching and fur standing on end. It's incredibly dignified. Honestly. Promise.

And wolfie just stands there like.

And Wild's up a tree, hissing down at this weirdly calm absolute UNIT of a wolf.

My part of TobiIzu Exchange, the gift for @flawlessstriker

I am not a ficwriter and my English is very poor however during the painting I had some ideas for subject.

Imagine what People of Sea were in eternal hostility to the People of Seashore because fishermen catch the sea beings, destroyed coral and fish habitat etc. Mermaid and Mermen drowned ships for the vengeance.

But one day a poor fisher with white hair and face marks had a wonderful trophy, a beautiful Merman, one of tritons of Sea King. The scales of his fish tail varied from purple to bluish green with golden glimpses. The jewels made of pearls, coral, seashells ornated his chest and hands.

He had hair of the colours of the night, bright eyes, changed from violet to red in one instant, tender lips, create for smiling and kisses.

Beware ! Behind the charming appearances he was one of the most vengeful and skilled sea warrior. The sharpest dagger made from magical crystal was ready in his hand.

But suddenly Merman saw the magatama made from the same crystal as pendant on the neck of the fisher.

- Where your find it?

- In the sand on the beach. The stone was so beautiful that I made the amulet from it.

Merman can’t kill the human because magic of the crystal protects him.

Fisher in his turn can’t breathe captured by the beauty of Merman. He don’t want to share his precious trophy with no one of the villagers. Happily this early morning the beach was empty.

Fisher brought Merman into his hut and kept him in the great wood bassin. Merman said that his name is Izuna. The fisher’s name was Tobirama.

Izuna lived many months hidden in Tobirama’s house. Day after day they become more and more close, sharing food and conversations. Tobirama heared, fascinated, about the marvels of the Sea deeps. Izuna try to understand the human’s life, the need to survive which obliges people to take sea and to catch fish.

Finally they fall in love.

Unfortunately sea creature can’t survive long enough out of great waters. In the night Izuna could hear the voices of his parents and frends. They was searching for him!

Desperate Tobirama decided to free his more than friend. One night he brought Izuna in his hands back on the beach. The man enters into the sea as deep as possible and leave beautiful merman to swim in the vawes. Their hearts were broken but no one can change his nature and destiny.

Izuna returned to his warrior clan and Tobirama to his neighbors and his occupations.

Both of them nevermore were joyful.

Izuna made his duty as sea guardian but try not to kill humans.

Every day Tobirama took his boat as usual but not only for fishing. The most of the time he watched around. He was waiting for purple-green shines between blue vawes.

Maybe one day he’ll see it ?

Elmo joins Ototo's development team.

Elmo strutted out of his room, Yoyo tailing behind him.

"So what's next on the tour?"

"We only get this hallway. However we do have a small kitchen!"

Yoyo led him to the kitchen near the entrance. Pots and pans were neatly stored in cupboards. A small stove sponsored by the Iron Legion had some grease stuck to it. A cat eating rice sat on the ground.

"That's T-Bone, she's like a black hole. Shes also our culinary expert, her lasagna can feed the whole Cat Army."

Elmo walked over to stand where T-Bone was.

"Hello!"

She gobbled down the last bit of her rice. She put the bowl in the sink.

"Hi. Do you like cookies?"

"Yeah!"

"Great. I can get some for you, but you need to get something for me."

Elmo scratched his head. Then he had an execllent idea.

"Do you like carrots? My friend gave me a good one. Brave Cutter Approved."

"Brave Cutter? The Grandon Mining Cutter? Alright lets see this carrot!"

Elmo went back to his room and got the carrot. It had a couple bruises but no mold. He went back to the kitchen and gave T-Bone the carrot. She ate the tip.

"Mmm.. that's pretty good. You weren't kidding. Maybe I'll make some soup with it."

"That sounds pretty good."

T-bone handed Elmo a bag full of sugar cookies from the shelf.

"Here you go. My treat. See you around."

"Oh wow! Thanks!"

The two were going to leave the cabin, but a crackling sound caught their attention.

"What was that? Did something pop a fuse?"

The two ran to the sound's origin. It came from a dark painted door. "KEEP OUT!" was written on a large sign. "Please?" was written on a smaller sticky note.

"Oh. Thats Gordy's room. He'll be fine."

"Hold on, I have something I wanted to give him."

Elmo held up a fragment of the green crystal from his overalls pocket. It glew brighter, the etchings pulsing with energy. Taking a deep breath, he head inside.

Gordy was hacking up smoke in his room with some wiring gone wrong. He was working on a panel covered by a white tarp. The mysterious curtain covered a large margin of the room.

"YOU! Disgusting vermin, leave immediately!"

Gordy hissed. Yoyo and Elmo backed up.

"Not you, new kid. You can stay."

Yoyo huffed and left the room, closing the door. Gordy appeared behind Elmo and draped him with a part of his coat.

"Have you decided? That these WORTHLESS FOOLS aren't worth your time? With me, we will conquer the world with our MERCILESS ROBOT ARMY! Right now they're just cleaning robots, but THAT'S NOT THE POINT!"

Elmo got some distance from Gordy. He pulled out the crystal, who strongly reacted to the machinery. Gordy snatched it immediately.

"You.. YOU.. You are a BLOODY GENIUS! This is a fraction of true power, I can power up my precious! Witness my creation, my dear assistant.. WITNESS THE BRINGER OF DESTRUCTION!"

Gordy unveiled the tarp to reveal.. to reveal.. a small metal Bun Bun. It makes a dent into the floor.

"Ah. I just need to implant it. I'm very grateful, these things grant immense power!The world shall be in my paws! Nya hahahahahahaha!!"

Elmo just stared. Gordy got nervous.

"Laugh with me. Its awkward."

So the two bringers of destruction laughed together.

Gordy hands Elmo a scrap metal cat. Its in decent shape with working cameras to boot. Elmo pats the cat on the head.

"My minion shall serve you well. Now begone! Evil awaits!"

Elmo left the cabin. Yoyo wasn't anywhere, so maybe he could vibe with Hank? Hank was lying down, Ototo with him.

"Don't eat the butterflies anymore, Hank. Please."

"But.. preety.."

Hank perked up when Elmo came by. Ototo looked up as well.

"Frend! I got you preety butterflies!"

The jar had yellow butterflies in it. They all had cat faces.

"Ooh! I'll put this on my shelf. Thanks Hank!"

"Hey Elmo. Oh good, the uniform fits. Hank, could you go for a sec?""

Hank got up and ran somewhere else. Ototo looked Elmo up and down before putting two paws on his shoulders. He pulled out a beaded bracelet covered in metal and gold beads.

"Yoyo wanted to give you this. Remember you got really sad when you lost that friendship bracelet? He made you another one."

"Aw! I'll put it on right away!"

Elmo slipped on the bracelet. He gave Ototo a big hug, the mentor returning the favor.

"Thanks for letting me on the team."

"No problem Elmo."

After the failure of presenting Blues to the public Dr.Light decides that he will take over the world using them to prove their superiority over mankind .

Created by Dr. Light as a part of the first wave of robot masters , later captured by law enforcment and re programed by Dr.Wily .Guilt ridden over the destruction she caused ,she decides to fight against Dr.Light .

Not much to say about him beyond what I said about Roll .A chill mechanic and a person that keeps their house standing .(he and sonic get along pretty well )

The first robot master and Dr.Lights second in command as he's the only one with enough of a free will to challenge his ideas .Retains the core problem but it's significantly less severe than in canon he can live pretty long with proper maintance .(something he has to do himself or ask other robots since Dr.Light isn't going to bother )

*He used to look more similar to a canon equalivent but changed his own apperance many times (is also intersted in fasion )

*while desining him I took inspiration from Ruby spears cartoon Proto(or what I think is RS Proto based of @redrobotdefensequad 's and @megamanrecut 's fics )and Hitoshi Ariga's version of the character

Forte DWN001(swapped with Blues)

Build by doctor Wily to replace Roll in case she wanted to take a break from constant waves of robot masters .

Stolen before complition by Dr.Light and made to belive in his ideals so that he would destoy Roll ultimately has a change of heart .

Powered out of a mysterious energy that grants him imense power but takes a toll on his mental health .

Generally not interested in fighting but helps Roll out when she's in pinch .Afraid of losing himself to the energy .

This was the thought circling through George's mind as he made his way through the darkness.

He replayed the events of the last half hour in his mind: he and Harold had been trudging through Water-whatever this place was called, happy as clams all things considered, when what should appear but a monster garbed all in armor, a sparking spear of energy in hand, clearly not looking to make friends with the boys any time soon.

They ran.

They ran, and when they'd made it into this horribly dark cavern they had tried to stay close, stay together, but everything kept getting darker and vaster and....

....Well, here was George now. Walking down a trail of moss that was only occasionally illuminated by the faint glow of the lanterns placed here and there.

"Harold?" he called. No answer.

"Tch."

As he walked, George couldn't help but let his mind wander. He found himself thinking about the statue they had found a few trails back, it and it's dingy old music box. It had been nice, the melody produced by it. Peaceful, even. The Underground was not a safe place for humans, oh no, but he supposed that there had to be bright spots somewhere.

Hmmm....you know, if I weren't in constant fear for my life, this place would be giving me so much inspiration. Maybe it still can? Hmm, let's see— maybe it could be, like. A comic where two kids discover a bunch of aliens living inside the planet, and then....something something, more aliens....something something....basketball? What does basketball have to do with anyth—

Something was quickly running up behind him.

"Hey, little guy, where'd you come from?"

"Hoi, I'm Temmie!"

"Oh you can— uh, hi....Temmie....I'm George."

"Hoi Gorg!" Temmie wagged their tail ecstatically. Then, frowning now, they said, "Gorg lost?"

"That's right, buddy. You wouldn't happen to know the way out of here, would you?" Another thought occured to him then. "Actually, I'm trying to find my friend. You haven't seen him, have you? Yellow hair, green sweater, prone to catastrophizing?"

Temmie raised a stubby little paw to their chin and hummed, "Hmmmmmm," in thought. "Nnnnnoope, Tem sorry."

"Oh...."

"But!" Ears perking, Temmie performed a quick bounce into the air in excitement. "Tem take Gorg to Tem Village! Tems help Gorg!"

"Really? You'd do that? Wait—" A sudden reminder echoed in George's mind. "You....you're not going to....attack me?"

"Nope!" Temmie shook their head with gusto.

George bit his lip. Now, George. You have no way of knowing if this adorable little thing is dangerous or not. You're lost in an underground maze in the dark and you have no idea where Harold is. If there is a town here it's your best shot, but what if this guy is lying? Think, George, think.....

The tune from the music box drifted into his memory.

"Alright then." George stood up, dusted himself off, planted his hands on his hips. "Alright, Temmie. Where's this village you're telling me about?"

And Temmie, quite literally, vibrated with excitement. "Frend follow Temmie! Temmie help!"

Which Metroid games do you recommend starting with? I was tempted to start with the original for the NES, but I'm afraid it might be a similar case to MegaMan. SomecallmeJohnny recommended Fusion and Zero Mission as beginner-friendly, followed by Super Metroid and Prime. Also, I've already played Tails Adventure and everyone talks about how similar it is to Metroid, but is it actually a good starting point?

I vehemently disagree with Johnny when he says that Fusion is beginner friendly lmao. It's a very different title from the others, the plot can be appreciated better if you know about the events of M2 and SM, its whole concept is a reversal of SM's, and it's also much more beginner-hostile.

I also wouldn't start with the original Metroid. It has all the beats of the general Metroid game, but it has too many oddities that a modern gamer wouldn't like, I think. As I said in another ask, there is nothing it does that Zero Mission doesn't do better - so ZM is one option to introduce someone to the series!

Then there's Super Metroid, of course, which was my first Metroid game - in fact, I got into the series because a frend of mine was doing a Metroid marathon, and while he quite obviously wasn't fond of M1 and M2, when I looked at him play I was intrigued by the level design and all the little secrets you can find. While if you get hyper critical SM also has some outdated features, I'd say it stood the test of time much much better than its predecessors!

Metroid Prime seems to have been the first Metroid for many Gamecube owners, and while it has obvious differences with the main series, it's straightforward enough that it also could be picked as a first choice. I'm on the fence when it comes to its sequels: Prime 2 is a little on the complex side with its whole Aether/Dark Aether thing, but still not too radically different from the usual, and Prime 3 relies on a peculiar gimmick that makes the game super easy, so YMMV if that's a good thing or not.

And to be complete, I would exclude Metroid 2, Other M, Samus Returns and Metroid Dread as candidates for a first Metroid game: M2 is barely a Metroidvania and, while I did somewhat enjoy the original title, it also is now overshadowed by Samus Returns and AM2R; Samus Returns is also a difficulty spike compared to the general standard, although at least it's more of a Metroidvania compared to the original; Metroid Dread seems to be immediately following Fusion and also not very easy; and OM is OM.

I'm genuinely surprised you're lumping Tails Adventure with Metroid lmao. No, I wouldn't say TA is anything like Metroid, although it's much more faithful to the Metroidvania principles than I anticipated. TA is much slower and clunkier, and it's very hard to get into because Tails starts off as so weak and nearly defenseless. When I first picked it up (I think in Sonic Gems Collection in 2005), I had no clue what I was supposed to do and I wrote it off as another dumb Game Gear game like Sonic Labyrinth. Now that I have most of the Metroid games under my belt I can think of it as a cute experiment that could be fleshed out in the future if SEGA wakes up one day and feels bold, but I think it's more of a cute time waster than a real introduction to the genre.

So her name is Snow (for some reasons this "name" is very comforting for me) she's around 16/18 years old

And is kinda from the same species as Diona (she actuly isn't but since her whole species were good friends with the khaenri'ah, they fought together with the humans against the gods which leads them to die and get cursed -> they turn into hilichurls but there were some who didn't got cursed or could control it which is what Snow can do) so yea when she first arrived in Mondstand ppl started to asume that she was a family of Diona

Snow didn't rlly had smth she wanted to do so she stayed in mondstand helping the knights since she could fight

She uses a bow but can also use the arrow as a polearm (sounds weird but yea-)

Has a pyro element but lets say that the fire color depends on her eye color so its blue ✨

She's pretty open and sweet also loves to go glide with Amber or help Noelle in the free time. But whenever she spots or sees Kaeya she always makes sure to avoid talking or being around him, since she feels smth from him that reminds her of her home

After some time she starts to talk to him and ends up that being with him is pretty comforting and she can also learn how to fight better with her element speaking of element she hides her vision and actuly hates it cuz the visions are kinda "a gift from the archons" and since they killed her family she didnt wanted to use her vision but after a while she learned that it was better to ingore the past and make her life easier by protecting herself from danger and such

Her life is now pretty peaceful and good but there are moments where she loses control (she also warned the knights of it and what to do if it happends) they didnt asked further like how did she got or what is the curse

About the curse itself it only apears if she is fighting smth strong such as a ruin guard it will make her turn into an animal-ish creature that looks like a hilichurl but more feral. She wil gain control by just being alone with no one nearby since that makes it look like there is nothing to be afraid for
