Just as Peter finished speaking, Harry walked in from the kitchen, bare-chested and wearing only flannel pyjama bottoms. He looked barely awake and every bit a man who had only gotten three hours of sleep, so everyone should tread carefully. His hair was dishevelled, and his glasses were slightly askew, but somehow, he still managed to make his presence imposing. Even with the ridiculous way he was balancing a hot cup of tea in each hand, clenching a piece of toast between his teeth, and cradling a bowl of cereal to his chest. He brushed past Peter without acknowledgement, his sudden appearance and gruff posture causing Peter to stutter mid-sentence when Harry stood halfway in front of where Peter still knelt on the floor to hand Draco a cup of tea, then proceeded to lift a foot onto the armrest of Draco’s chair, completely ignoring the abundant amount of accessible seating the house had to offer to climb behind Draco and plop himself down, his legs coming out on either side of Draco, impressively not spilling a drop of his breakfast in the process.

“Hey– Good morning, Harry,” Peter stuttered. “I was, er– was just showing Draco the new–”

Harry greeted Peter by interrupting his faltered speech with a low, brash noise like gravel in the back of his throat, barely a greeting at all, really. He sat his bowl and teacup down on the side table next to them, before wrapping an arm around Draco’s waist, and taking a big bite of his toast.

“Right, well, um… I’ll just leave these here.” Peter stood and placed the wooden crate on the coffee table, with movements that seemed designed to give Harry a wide berth.

“Thank you, Peter!” Draco called out to his retreating back. “I do want to visit the farm as soon as Neville arrives– He’s not going to want to miss it.”

Once Peter was gone, Draco turned to glare at Harry.

“You should be ashamed of yourself for scaring Peter off like that,” he said. “He’s intimidated by you. And, if you haven’t noticed, he worships the ground you walk on. You know, nothing would probably make him happier than to just be your friend— Don’t give me that innocent look–” Draco snorted. “He’s a nice guy, and you know exactly what you’re doing.”

“I know what he’s doing too,” Harry said, swallowing. “He still wants you. And is still trying to seduce you with potion ingredients. Ripening and blooming… fucking, please.”

As Harry spoke, Draco leaned back into his new warm and well-shaped backrest.

“Oh, I see,” Draco chuckled, “you’re really gonna dig in deep here, aren’t you? Gonna be really defiant about it. Really give him the Harry-Potter-cold-shoulder,” Draco finished with a pointed look, because he knew that cold shoulder very well, and might have even been the reigning top recipient.

Harry laughed and shrugged. “You know I’m right,” he said as he nuzzled the side of Draco’s neck, apparently completely unashamed of the causal claim of territory he’d just made. “Good morning,” he added softly after a moment.

How much does he relate to Oberyn Martell? He loved doing the part because he looks so much like him. Does he sexually? Or character wise?

Hello! After all the insane biphobia and disrespect we are seeing in the fandom since yesterday, what better time than now to post a reading on how Pedro might feel about our Bi King Oberyn Martell 💖💜💙🤴🏻

I asked what it was like for him to play this character and the first cards were 3 of Hedgehogs, 2 of Hedgehogs and The Fool. 3 of Hedgehogs indicates he felt like he was part of a Dream Team, like he had all the support and cooperation he needed to make it happen, and the 2 of Hedgehogs is pointing to him feeling kind of overwhelmed by so many possibilities, so many ways he could go with that character and that job. And he was ready! The Fool is about him going all in, going on the adventure of a lifetime, ready to take the challenges and learn all the lessons and follow his curiosity and passion. Like Alice going down the rabbit hole.

The next cards were 5 of Teacups, 10 of Spears and The Pair. 5 of Teacups followed by the 10 of Spears could be indicating he got emotionally disappointed at some point, he got upset at an abrupt and painful ending, something that didn't go according to plan and turned into a learning experience. Well, we could be talking about the abrupt ending of Oberyn and how painful it was, including to him, to see the character go that way, or something else. The Pair, as The Lovers in the regular decks, showing up right after, might be referring to a "union" of some kind that got broken because of the choices that were made, and choices there were, whether they were related to his character or another thing.

The last 3 cards were The World reversed, Ace of Spears and King of Teacups. The World reversed means Pedro wasn't fully ready to part ways with the character and that whole experience, he still felt like he had more to give, like his journey wasn't finished yet. Ace of Spears points to him having so many ideas, being so inspired, and King of Teacups displaying all the love he had (and still does) for his journey as Oberyn and GOT. It felt like something ended too soon for him.

Then I asked if he relates to this character sexually or character wise. For the sexuality, the card was the 4 of Flowers, which represents pure harmony and the feeling of being "home", peacefully and comfortably. So yes, this card suggests he related to him sexually, not that he didn't imply it in interviews himself.

Character wise, the card was the Ace of Teacups reversed. That could point to him feeling like Oberyn was too unhinged for him, emotionally imbalanced in a way that he maybe didn't relate to.

1. Juice -Lizzo. This modern classic is turning 2 years old soon. I want those good vibes, fresh air and self love for 2021, and wish you all the same 💫

2. Day dreaming - Aretha Franklin. I want to fall in love this 2021, and this song is all about the sweetness of falling for someone and craving to be with your beloved. It's cute, soft, groovy and intimate all at once. I was tempted to put Etta James' Something's got a hold on me here, as that one is all about the bliss of the falling, but this one feels more like what love is.

3. Summer 127 - NCT 127. A charming, uplifting little song that sounds like summer and having fun, dancing and maybe being a little naughty 😏

4. The Passenger - Iggy Pop. Life is a lot about being a passenger. The passenger observes from their seat. Sometimes you're not the protagonist of your own story, sometimes you find yourself in an unknown road or a high speed train, and that's ok 🌌

5. Dancing in the dark - Bruce Springsteen. You can't start a fire without a spark, so I'll try to find it this year. I think to all of us, 2020 was a lot like being the dark. The fear, the tragedy and social trauma, the uncertainty. The darkness maybe won't go away anytime soon, but we'll be dancing. Because as Bercht said, even in the dark times there will be sining.

6. Truth begins - Dirty Pretty Things. This song makes me feel a certain way. It's a little about growing up. It's a little cynical. It's a lot about no matter how much you complain, the sun will shine again tomorrow, and a lot about friends too.

7. Changes - David Bowie. We all hope for changes in 2021, don't we? Changes can be painful, but they are inevitable. Also, definetely can use some glam in 2021

8. Sabor a mí - Luis Miguel. It's a very pretty love song, maybe about lovers parting ways or maybe not, but it's not here for that. It's here because I've been meaning to sing it at karaoke for over 2 years now. Maybe 2021 will finally see me destroying this song in public at last 😂

9. Ribs - Lorde. Another one about growing up because, honestly, I do not want to grow up. Years go so fast, life passes in a glimpse and I still don't want to pay the bills and do adult things. Lorde knows. Things should go slower, and life has been slow ever since lockdown, yet that only makes it feel faster somehow.

10. With you - SuperM. A little easy and cheesy song. I was tempted to put SuperM's Better days here, but that one is far too corny (though very comforting, I'll admit it💙). This one is still cute and hopeful, but has a nice rhythm. After all it's about being together, and now more than ever, despite the barriers, that's how we should be 🤗 Also I just love the I make art but you're the masterpiece, angels do exist 'cause you're the proof part 😅

11. Atrevete - Calle 13. Oldie but goldie here only as a reminder that I'd really like to party (though I usually only party like twice a year or so) and shake my *ss like there is no tomorrow, maybe in late 2021 it will be safe again to do so 😌

12. Pporoappippam - Sunmi. One of my favorite releases this year. The title means ''purple night''. This one has the disco vibes, and it's soft, elegant and easy-going all at once. The feel is nostalgic, and the lyrics are rather bittersweet. That is why I put this song here, not because I want 2021 to be bittersweet, but because it WILL be to some extent. But once again, that will not stop us from dancing 💞

Reiji: "Her eyes are quite lovely, for a human's. They're grey, with only the faintest hints of other colors. The longer she's been with us, though, the more silver they have become. I find myself staring at those silver eyes quite often. Fufufu... the irony, silver being a weakness of vampires."

So I wrote a drabble for Reiji and me.

Honestly, it was hard in its own way, because of how plot heavy I am with him. Like seriously, if I could actually commit and figure out all the small details, I'd have a trilogy written for him and my S/I. And I guess this fluff happens all the way in book 3.

Content warning: description of vampire blood sucking (with consent) at the end.

The moonlight filtered through the leaves, its silver light almost as bright as day. Night rarely seemed to truly emerge in the demon realm, and so the birds chattered loudly, chasing each other from tree to tree in the garden. 

Evelyn looked up as the birds flew off, sighing softly. She wished she could fly off somewhere. Leave the tangled mess her life had become. Ever since she agreed to marry a vampire, she knew she was in a cage, and if she was a bird, her wings were clipped.

"Oh," she let out a soft noise, watching as one of the birds fluttered down to a nearby branch. It chipped, a melodic whistle of sorts, and when she raised her hand, it came to land upon her finger. The small bird, an iridescent blue, chirped at her cheerfully, and she let out a gentle sigh.

"There you are," a voice pulled her attention from the bird. She turned, and smiled at Reiji as he strode towards her. "I was worried when I couldn't find you." The bird fluttered its wings, but didn't leave, watching as Reiji drew closer.

"I told Ruki I was going to be here," she murmured.

"Yes, he was the one who told me to find you here."  He took her free hand, raising his other to gently pet the bird's head. "You should have had one of the Mukami brothers come with you though."

"I know," she sighed. She understood why Reiji was this way. Ever since his father, the king of the vampires, announced his future abdication of the throne, and told everyone she and whomever she married would rule with her, she was a target. The other clans, and anyone else who craved power, were after her.

As if knowing what she was thinking about, Reiji gave her hand a gentle squeeze. "It shouldn't be long now." He murmured, and leaned close to kiss her cheek. She turned to him, the bird that rested on her hand left, returning to the other birds in the trees.

Their arms went around one another, and Reiji nuzzled his face into her neck. "More people are on our side with each passing day, and I promise I shall take care of everything."

His lips brushed against her neck as he spoke, sending shivers down her spine. "I know you'll be able to do this, Reiji." She hugged him more tightly. He chuckled, and smirked against her skin.

"You always have such trust and faith in me… thank you."

Her pulse danced against his lips, the scent of her blood and self a familiar warmth. Even though there was no one around, the garden was still too open for his liking. But he felt that familiar dryness in his throat, a thirst that plagued him ever since his first drop of blood.

Reiji trailed his hand along her back, and pressed her thin frame more tightly against his own. In response, she tilted her head, making her neck all the more easy for him to be against. Her pulse quickened in anticipation, a quiet invitation to him.

Evelyn let out a shuddering sigh as his fangs pierced her skin, the familiar warmth joining the faint sting. He clung to her tightly, as he always did, as if afraid she would somehow disappear. Her hand ran through his hair lovingly and reassuringly.

Perhaps she was a caged bird, but even if she was free to leave, she wouldn't wish to leave him for the world.

Reiji Sakamaki X S/I

After spending time at the mansion, Evelyn meets the king of vampires himself at a party for her, and he deems her worthy of marrying his eldest, the whole reason she was sent as a prospective bride. In her time there, however, she had fallen in love with not the eldest, but the second son, Reiji.

"Reiji!" Evelyn exclaimed, running towards the lone vampire in the garden. She clutched the fabric of her skirt in gloved hands, and her heels clicked against the stone pathway. Reiji turned to her, removing his hand from his suit pocket as she approached. 

"I was wondering where you went," her breath was heavy as she let the blue fabric fall back over her feet and brush the ground. Her chest heaved with each inhale, from the combined efforts of her searching and the tight corset she wore. "After I spoke with your father, you disappeared."

"Would it not be wise to go find your betrothed instead?" His voice was cold. "This party is to celebrate the two of you after all."

"Reiji…" she sighed. Of course this would weigh on him, especially after Karlheinz announced publicly her hand being given to Shu. It was obvious how much Reiji respected his father and his choices, and even if he didn't, Karlheinz's wishes were law.

Evelyn shook her head, reaching out and hesitantly touching Reiji's hand. She smiled at him, despite his unchanging look.

"I want to be with you right now though. Not with Shu, or anyone else. After talking with Karlheinz, and being alone, the only one I felt like I wanted to be with… was you."

Reiji's eyes widened slightly, and he grasped her hand she touched him with.

"You truly wish to be with me?" He asked softly, his grip tightening.

"Yes."

"Even if you were able to escape? To leave all of us behind?" He took a stop closer, and cupped her chin. "You'd rather cling to what you'd consider a monster, and a murderer?"

"You aren't any of those things." She responded, her smile not fading. At that, Reiji laughed loudly. He leaned close, his laughter slowly changing to a dark chuckle as his breath was cold on her neck.

"But I am. And you know I could kill you in an instant. That doesn't make you terrified? It doesn't make you want to flee?" With those words he grazed his fangs against her, and felt her pulse quicken. "You're utterly powerless. A weak human woman. Food to my kind."

But to his surprise, she did not try to pull away. She leaned into his touch, her eyes closing.

"But I trust you, Reiji." She murmured, "and I want to be with you." She stayed still, waiting to feel his fangs pierced her.

But nothing happened.

Reiji sighed, pulling away.

"Ever since you came to this mansion, I've found you to be a strange human." He shook his head, watching as she slowly opened her eyes. "Docile and naive, if father had you placed into this house without any rulesat to how you were treated, you would have been slaughtered within a week. You're incessant humming, your foolish optimism. And yet…"

His words trailed off into silence, neither speaking for a few moments. The music that came from the ballroom was faint, mingling with the sounds of crickets. He sighed once more, and continued.

"And yet I find myself unsure about how I could feel this way. The mansion feels… more peaceful with you. The way you try to help, and you listen with such interest to what I say. I don't feel…"

"...so lonely." Evelyn murmured, finishing his sentence. She shared such a sentiment with him back when they first had tea together. The simple action made her feel, in the terrifying new place, not so lonely.

"I wish…" Reiji murmured, but shook his head. "No, I do not wish that. Evelyn," he held his hand out to her. "Would you care to join me for a walk? It would be a break from this party."

"Of course," she smiled, taking his hand. "Where shall we go?"

🌷 - Are you a sweet talker? How do you speak to your s/o when trying to be flirty/romantic?

Reiji: "No, I wouldn't say I am. The times she'd claim I sweet talk are times she genuinely deserves the praise. Any notion of it being sweet is because that is what she has earned."

"As for how I flirt with her, I compliment her strengths, the things she is good at, and the things that make her lovely. It's quite cute how her face flushes red at such simple words."

Reiji: "Nothing I wouldn't already be doing. But... I suppose I take pride in how much she enjoys my cooking and tea. And the other day, she found me practicing my fencing. I... perhaps added a little more flourish to my swings."
