If you had to ship 2 of The Doctors, which two would you ship?

Here’s the thing. Here’s the thing. I feel like I’m the right light with the right amount of ginger anything most any of the Classic Doctors would and could probably get up to some quite literal self indulgent and hedonistic fuckery. Less shipping and more a simple reality, really.

I think most of the New Who Doctors would rip each other’s faces off if given the chance to not fuck up timelines. I feel Eight veers closer to New Who in this regard.

That being said, currently I feel the most cursed would be Five/Ten. So it’s an option. Most of the twinks would play well together. This is largely me avoiding the question. I also think Eleven is ONE OF* the most likely to, how we’ll say, Self Ship in this scenario.

Fuck it. Just take another step to the right. We ship Eleven/Six in this household now. We ship Ten/Fourteen, 2023’s answer to 2012’s Fucking. Tencest.

Y’know, as a multishipper primarily into RTD-era & Chibnall-era NuWho, Classic Who, and the Wilderness Years expanded universe who never liked Moffat’s era (but heavily disliked River and Clara in particular), all the shipping wars between Eleven/Clara, Eleven/River, Twelve/Clara, Twelve/River, and Twelve/Gomez!Master shippers is/was very funny to watch from the sidelines.

I’d just be minding my own business in my own little corner that I carved out for myself in the fandom when occasionally a volley from the Moffat-era ship war would fly past my dashboard.

And then I go back to my comfy pile of Doctor/Rose, Tencest, Ten/Simm!Master (or generally-speaking Doctor/Master), and various Eighth Doctor ship content (plus my various dark!Ten ships with other roleplayers).

Nice Things; Good Things

A blatant canon divergence from Journey’s End where Donna just lets the metacrisis Doctor and Rose right back onto the TARDIS and then they all just go back to traveling together. Pretty soon after that, Jack gets added in and then it’s just the whole team enjoying themselves for once instead of having just endless tragedy for the sake of character building.

As the series goes on, it gets more and more polyamorous, but it’s set up so that each fic can be an acceptable stopping point so that anyone who isn’t on board can just hop off whenever they like and not have to deal with a bunch of unresolved cliffhangers.

The doctor approaches Theta and straddles his lap where he sits in the chair in front of the console and then wraps his arms tightly around him as he puts his head down on his shoulder. He then buries his head in the side of Theta’s neck and sighs “You look like you needed a hug Theta. Are you actually bored?” The doctor frowns at the fact that yes, he could be and not be telling him.

Sensing the Doctor so close to him was what broke Theta out of his silent reverie. Leaning back as the other Time Lord seated himself on his lap, Theta snaked his arms around that familiar waist and pulled him in close, burying his own face into the Doctor's shoulder. Inhaling his scent deeply in contentment, he gave the Doctor a little squeeze.

"My mind is never bored, Doctor. Not with you running through it all the time." he chuckled, playfully nipping the air close to the Doctor's cheek, but then brushed it with the tip of his nose instead. He was rarely this affectionate with anyone, but the Doctor wasn't just anyone.

CHAPTER EXCERPT:

Rose hurried through the ship, relieved to find the TARDIS had moved things around so that she spotted them within moments, concern flooding her insides as she rushed towards the pair. The closer she got to them, the clearer the scene became, although it made no sense, the Human Doctor carrying the Time Lord with obvious difficulty.

Said Time Lord did not look good. Pale, sweaty, shaky, as if he was fighting some kind of virus again, her apprehension immediately growing at the memory of what had happened on Zuitania.

“What’s wrong with him?” Rose asked as she reached them, already trying to get the Doctor’s other arm around her shoulders to help carry him.

“’s all good,” the Time Lord slurred out as they dragged him along the corridor. “Molto bene.”

It sure did not look molto bene to Rose, nor did it feel it.

Whatever was going on, it seemed to be affecting his telepathic abilities, too. Instead of the deliberate, intent nudge she usually felt from him, it felt more like she’d stepped into the eye of that storm, the air charged with unstable energy, sensing him all around her, raw and unfocused.

The sensation threatened to overtake her, to swallow her whole, and part of her wanted to cave in to this overwhelming press of him.

Story Summary: Rose refuses to leave the TARDIS on Bad Wolf Bay, travelling back to her universe with the Doctors instead, where she hopes to resume the 'carefree' life of adventures they had before Canary Wharf.

After years apart, and with two Doctors instead of one, that's easier said than done.
