I was thinking that since blaze's dimension is more fantasy than sonic's sci Fi aesthetic, she (who when describing the concept to my brother I called "Frost", when Rime is so much fucking cooler) would be some kind of witch or vampire, because what would the ultimate lifeform be in a fantasy setting? A sorceress or a vampire lord, as either could be immortal depending, and given that ice thematically is associated with prolonging life (or at least preserving bodies after death), her ice powers have double effectiveness in theme as a contrast to blaze. Love that you also thought about the ice skating too

idk if this is your thing but I'd love marius/eponine/cosette hcs!

eponine spends a long time thinking she was in love with marius because she never really knew what love was, he was the the first person to really be kind to her

but then he starts bringing cosette around and eponine physically aches with attraction, which scares the shit out of her and she cries and whines to courf and r for like weeks before they're like 'dude... you're probably bi or gay and in love with cosette'

so now eponine is DOUBLY freaked out because she feels like she should be angry with cosette for taking marius away, but now she sort of feels angry with marius for having cosette all to himself

cosette has known she was bi forever, she never had that 'awakening' moment, it was always just something she knew and accepted about herself, and falls stupidly in love with marius immediately after meeting him

but she also feels weirdly drawn to eponine in a way that she's never felt before, and she can't quite put her finger on it until one night eponine invites her over for beer and board games and when gavroche goes to sleep in the other room eponine kisses cosette, quick and hard

and cosette is now the one with the crisis because she loves marius so fucking uch but eponine makes her feel something entirely new and that kiss is something that she's been longing for for a long time, too

either way, she decides she needs to tell marius, and when she does he sort of just sits there for a very long time and says something along the lines of 'if you want to be with her instead, that's okay'

and cosette sobs because she loves marius and wants to be with him, but she also sort of wants eponine to be part of that, too

and marius nods understandingly and says that he loves her, and he loves eponine, just not in that way, and so they sit in bed together and cry and cosette feels like the world is caving in on her

until she talks to musichetta about polyamory, and suddenly everything just... clicks

it takes a lot of long, sit-down talks with her, eponine, and marius, establishing boundaries and sort-of couples counselling from chetta, joly, and bossuet, but eventually they all agree that what's best and makes the most sense is for cosette to date them both

so she does, and it's great, because it's different but comfortable and just so right with both of them, and she can barely conceal her joy the first time marius leaves the apartment the girls share with chetta and kisses her and says 'i love you' then casually leans over and does the same thing to eponine
