hi hello!! thank you for asking!! i picked the song in general because firstly i just think its a very lovely song but also because it is a song about getting by while doing nothing terribly grave and consequential necessarily and. ilob is about them doing nothing really. outside of their dynamic, nothing that consequential occurs in their lives to be honest. i mean for a lot of it they dont even leave their flat. but they are getting by! and having, at least sometimes, a lovely time while doing very little xx the specific lyrics [no i don't believe in the wasting of time / but i don't believe that im wasting mine] i think summarise that feel of the song quite nicely and also the fic like. they're really not doing very much they're lounging around and maybe going shopping and having sex and spending half the day in bed but. theyre enjoying themselves they are Fine...and in the end all that time that might appear wasted sort of ends up being a pretty crucial moment in their lives because it is what brings them together for good :^) and although the problem with their arrangement at the start is that it does not satisfy them and so is arguably pointless/a waste of time...it is worth continuing for the sake of getting to be with each other at all. s is not really content to only be with r in that capacity but nevertheless even if it looks like being stuck in that situation is never going to get him what he wants. he does not consider it a waste of time because it is r...and he wants to be around him...any way he can be (and vice versa obviously). like...he is going to the supermarket with him...they are sitting in the bathroom!! no i don't believe in the wasting of time!! but i don't believe that im wasting mine!!

Toku anon: TXT's new album rocks! I listened to the whole thing this morning, and all of the songs are excellent. Which song is your favourite?

Personally, my favourite is Thursday's Child Has A Long Way To Go. I love the combination of the 80s vibes and the guitar. (Correct me if I'm wrong, but is it an acoustic guitar?) And the song has a really catchy rhythm and melody as well. Also it has a bit of a hopeful sound to it as well, in just the right amount to complement the rest of the album. With that being said, I can't wait to check out the playlist you made for the song!

I just read the lyrics there and ahhh I love it, the sound suits them so much. As you said the rhythm and melody is really catchy and I feel like in these types of songs (the 80s vibes at this kind of tempo) feel like constant running and movement, like idea of moving on and moving forward. And then the acoustic guitar brings in youthful näive emotions to that. And the lyrics paint this scene of a youthful relationship breaking up and the realisation that it wasn't as easy as it seemed. Like after feeling you've figured something out or had something real and lasting, it slips away and you remember that you are young and you have to keep moving and trying and actual lasting things will come if you just wait a little longer and grow up more. The bridge too .. like "I think it's fine, my broken heart" ... and then saying that yes this might be the hardest time of my life so far but I'm looking forward to good days again. It's so relatable and authentic to being young and I love how well they have expressed it....

Okay after reading the lyrics I can't Not have this as my favourite song fnfjn the lyrics are so beautiful :((( I hope you like the playlist !! All the songs in it have the similar 80s beat and running, moving feeling ! The closest in similarity to this song is Voice by loona because they have the same back-beat and tempo as well as the instrumental sections, so I imagine you'll like that !!!
