I have like a dozen other fics I should be working on but "Maitimo meets and gets bullied by his future self" snuck into my brain (working title: Despair Like Poison) and now I can't escape it:

WIP Tag Game

So the past couple months have been... challenging. Everything kind of started to go wrong in February, hit the fan in March, and then just continued straight through April and May. 

Around that time, @hilarychuff tagged me in this WIP game. While I wasn’t able to get it done in a very timely manner, it was really nice to have it around to add to on and off when real life got to be too much. It’s been a little lifeline- thanks, Hil. <3

For those who don’t know, the objective of the game is to find snippets of your wips that contain a keyword set by the person who tagged you. The ones I’ve been given are danger, curl, smirk and itch

Danger

The 1992 Nockfell Junior High Christmas Concert Incident (Sally Face)

"You," the woman finally rumbled, slowly inching toward him in a way that implied unpleasant things to come. "It's YOU, isn't it?"

"What?" Larry asked again, voice coming out just above a whisper. There was a lot going on, both visually and audially, and he was having a hard time keeping everything that was happening straight. In between instinctive fear for his life that the teacher's movements were setting off in some obsolete corner of his brain- presumably left behind by various primate ancestors- the sheer riot of color included in her outfit was leaving him disoriented. 

She looked as though she had robbed a circus, grabbed everything she could carry, and arranged every prize somewhere on her person, tent included. Her skirt, an eclectic patchwork of primary colors, had bells sewn at the hem which jingled cheerily in a way that should not have managed to be threatening. Her earrings, long dangling trinkets attached to what he refused to process as a severed doll's head, seemed in danger of snagging in the cloud of white hair around them. Her buttercup yellow peasant blouse was almost normal in comparison, save for the fact that it revealed more cleavage than Larry had ever wanted to see on an octogenarian. The multitude of necklaces only covered so much.

Unfinished chapter of Alone on Thanksgiving? Mad At Your Mom? (Stranger Things)

They've almost reached each other, and Chrissy falters, trying to smother the instinct to reach out and grab him like he'll disappear if she doesn't. 

(Everybody's always touching him, nobody ever takes the hint when he tries to get away, she doesn't want to do that to him and make him feel like he can't say no just because it's her doing it-)

The voices in Chrissy's head go silent as PJ closes the distance and yanks her into a hug.

The noise she hears herself make doesn't even sound human.

He's exactly like she remembers, and yet he isn't, and the paradox has her swirling through a tempest of heartbreaking joy mixed with earth shattering grief. He smells the same- like that shampoo he insists on no matter how many better curl products are offered his way. He's swaying them with the faintest movements from side to side, the way Chrissy knows is a counting technique he uses to track seconds. The longest he's able to tolerate a hug like this is 3 minutes, and the only person he's ever done it for voluntarily is her.

His cheek is resting at the top of her head, the way hers used to rest on his. He's able to lift her now- Chrissy can feel the soles of her shoes raising ever so slightly off the ground, and she can't tell if it makes her want to laugh or cry.

"You're taller than me," she says finally, voice warbling with unshed tears, even as she jokes. "Who said you were allowed to get taller than me?"

PJ scoffs, and squeezes her tighter.

Miscellaneous Fantasy High AU Oneshot (Stranger Things, Dimension 20)

It's a little hard to judge inflammation on fuck-off-red skin, but the base of the left horn looks like it might still be kind of tender. That'd definitely track with what he remembers in his own experience, at least- they come in all at once and then spend the next several months hurting on and off like a BITCH.

Fig's expression tightens a little, the way it still tends to whenever some reminder that she's very much not the wood elf she'd apparently always thought she was comes up. She shrugs.

"It's fine. The painkillers help."

"Go easy on those, they'll fuck up your stomach," Eddie advises, then hears himself and spends a minute wondering just who the fuck he is now. Zarael's star-spangled cosmic titties, he's WAY too young to be sounding this much like Wayne.

"Yes, DAD," Fig smirks, seeming to come to the same conclusion, and rolls her eyes. Scowling, Eddie reaches over the counter and flicks the horn that looks less sore.

"Ow! That's assault on a minor, I could sue-"

"Like any lawyer in Solace would take YOU as a client," Eddie retorts. "Get your bass and sit your ass down."

“What is that?”

“It works like coffee,” Syb tells her, and doesn’t explain further. Most people would take that as the brush off it is, but Fia either doesn’t notice or ignores it. They’re never one hundred percent sure which it is with her, but they’re starting to lean toward the witch just being flat out unaware of social norms when they aren’t spelled out. She tilts her head to the side, examining the guampa with open curiosity.

“May I try this?”

Their initial instinct is to tell her ‘no’. This continent doesn’t have the right climate to grow mate without a whole lot of magical tweaking, and the fact that there’s not much demand means that very few people bother. The stock they have has been carefully hoarded over time, and they don’t drink a lot of it regularly in an effort to stretch it out. They are not, by habit, a generous person.

But. 

There is… something about the way she looks when someone flat out shuts her down when she’s trying to be friendly- confused, taken aback, slightly hurt despite trying to pretend otherwise- that somewhere along the way they’ve started trying to avoid.

Its A and Garion character shenanigans, where they hate each other's guts but they've been isekaied and now only know each-other. I think its SO funny. Its a fic for me.

It also brought him curses. Like the one that had walked in through his store's front door.

CORVO LOOPS - Mlp loops but dishonored

Its, for me. Corvo is an anchor and is looping, he goes THROUGH it. This one is where samuel wakes up but this line is so out of context.

"Your halls are a mess corvo, how many damn swords do you intend on collecting--"

UNTITLED - BNHA oc fic

I have this bastard oc I call Thrones bcs he's angel themed, and he's originally and Iruma-kun OC? But i put him into BNHA and it surprisingly works lmao.

The mental blocks he had placed in the way of his quirk vanishes like tissues in water, melting away and he feels his light burn.

TRAVEL - Blind Griffin AU fic

Look, the visual novel is really fun, and I like time travel. This one is parallel universes though, and its about grief.

She stares at the empty lot that was her lab and home, and represses a long, long sigh. 

DARE - Nobunagun Fic

Sio and Adam have gender shenanigans. Aka cross-dressing, but it comes with gender revelations and I love that for them.

"I bet I'd make a better lady than you, at least." Adam scoffs, smiling with all teeth. "Im prettier than you even as a guy."

this one is on AO3, but the recent chapters i just havent been feeling, sadly. I liked this bit i wrote though.
