(also unrelated and sorry if this is a bit of an ignorant question, but you’re studying fashion right? what does one… do when studying fashion? like i know you’ve posted abt organizing photoshoots, do you design the clothes for the models? do you have themes you have to work with? do you do the photography yourself or do you hire someone/is a photographer provided? do you learn abt fashion history? do you have a favourite kind of fabric? a favourite style of fashion?)

that isn't an ignorant question at all! it's completely fine! I am studying fashion and it depends on what you take under that because fashion is like an umbrella term, under that there's designing, styling, marketing and PR, business, merchandising and soo much more it would take me hours to list everything

now because I'm studying communication and styling under fashion, I dont make the clothes, get them instead, like readymade clothes. I always have themes, a concept note for each shoot and I make a ton of boards related to the theme before moving forward with stuff because they help out a lot! and depending on the work (for ex, when I first started my shoots I was the one who did all the photography but now I can hire a photographer to collaborate with and work with while I can sit back on that and focus on everything else!)

we don't learn just about fashion history, we learn about everything! you can literally ask me about any political, economical and legal factors of the 1970s and 80s in both the US and India that I did for my final project in one of the subjects and I would tell it to yoh even in my sleep, because even those factors are important in the influence of cultures!

ooh I have a lot of favorite fabrics but the one I love and something that I came across during research was this fabric called Mashru that is from the Indian subcontinent, which essentially was a blend of silk and cotton and is one of the earliest forms of "mixed cloth,". In the 12th century A.D., the industry was under the influence of Muslims. While Muslim men were not allowed to wear pure silk due to a religious admonition, a silk-and-cotton blend that they made was allowed. Then during the Mughal period, Mashru was used for the costumes of courtiers and nobles and is presumed to be an Indian innovation!

and my favorite style of fashion definitely has to be rococo fashion! Because it is known for being ✨️ extra ✨️ no joke the first time I saw an illustration of rococo wigs in class I burst out laughing and had to leave class to compose myself. and if you wish to know how that looks like then here you go:-

Your presence on tumblr is a little comforting to me. I know that may sound sort of weird considering we’re strangers and never held a proper conversation. I remember when I first got into skz, they had just debuted and there really wasn’t a ton of content of them on tumblr but there were a few creators that I noticed often. And though I never really interacted a whole lot with those creators, it was nice to see them and get to know them from afar. I feel like many of those creators are either now inactive or deleted their account, which bums me out. You’re probably one of the only people who’s still here. And I’m not exactly sure what it is but it just feels a little comforting that you’re still around on tumblr. Maybe it’s the fact that we’re close in age? Authors note : t/n stands for troupe name, I didn't wanna just pick one and have it closed off to the possibilities of any of the troupe members being the partner of your choosing, hope that's okay!

You and pika had been friends for quite a while, after all you've known him since you were kids!!

When his family had been massacred, by a group which he did not disclose the name of, you were the main person he went to for general comfort.

You guys picked each other up when you were down and stuck together no matter what!

Of course, as you two got older you started to distance, but you still kept in contact here and there :D

Sometimes you accompanied him on easier, or not as dangerous missions he had, and it was quite fun!

You two had your inside jokes, each other's company, and most importantly, each others backs.

So when you found out that he was still hunting down that group, you obviously got concerned.

He assured you that he could handle it, and that he'd even taken out one of their stronger members!

This made you happy in the moment, but you were still a little put off at the idea of Kurapika going at all of this alone...

What better way to take your mind off of things than to get back into the dating picture!!! Right..?

Many of the people you saw and went on various dates with were nice, but they just didn't really have that special something you were looking for.. What that special something was? Honestly, you didn't know. But, you knew that when you found it, you'd know it.

A couple days later you met up with this person by the name of t/n , they seemed... amazing actually!

One date turned into two, then three, then four, alllll the way up until you two made it official! You had a romantic partner and they were everything you were looking for!

You did find it a bit odd that they preferred to not be seen around people, but you just lightly assumed it was social anxiety, or something like that.

Every once in a while you'd get to meet a friend of said partners', and they were all pretty neat! Up until you heard one of them mention something that caught your attention...

Your curiosity got the best of you, so you decided to go upfront and ask.

"Who's this.. Uvogin dude you guys keep talking about?"

A couple of the friends began to fill you in on the details, your partner included..

Surprisingly, the troupe members present bought your excuse. From this point on you frantically tried to contact pika, you had to have a word with him asap..

About a week later you two met at a rather secluded meeting point.

"Y/n?? What's wrong? You seemed so worried over the phone.. Is something bothering you? Are you scared? Nervous?"

"Actually.. I sort of am. That group you've mentioned before, would they happen to call themselves, The Phantom Troupe?" Kurapika's worried expression changed to something you couldn't quite grasp, it appeared as though it was a mixture of confusion, surprise, anxiousness, and.. anger?" He paused for a moment, then he raised his voice louder than you've heard in a long, long time.

"Y/n L/n, do you happen to be affiliated with them? Do you... Work for them?? HOW DO YOU KNOW THEM? WHAT IS YOUR FORM OF CONTACT WITH THEM-" His eyes began to glow with hints of red. You had to push him away from how close he was getting to you, intimidating AND uncomfortable, double trouble amiright..

"KURAPIKA! CALM DOWN PLEASE!!" He and his eyes' display of emotion settled to a point where you could actually utter a word without him having a seemingly dark aura, as if he were going to gun you down right at that second. You began to explain how you were... dating.. a member of the phantom troupe, unbeknownst to you up until last week when you called him. His facial expressions during your explanation and reasoning seemed to switch through a cycle of betrayal, disappointment, worry once more, and pure blank. This is where his face was settled at now, simply staring at you, or more so through you as you took it. You two stayed like this for what felt like hours, him staring at your still figure.. studying you almost.. as you began to shift in place as the uncomfy-ness of the situation grew and grew. Eventually he parted his lips, which appeared to signal him starting to speak, but then almost purposefully biting his tongue. He was hiding something. Holding something back.

"I need some time to think." With this simple sentence, he walked off, leaving you there all alone with so, so, so many thoughts swarming through your head.

Does he hate me now? Will he ever talk to me again? Is he going to do something to you? Interrogate you? Arrest you? Can he even do that?? Are you two even still FRIENDS???

"Friends.." that word tasted bittersweet as it rolled off of your tongue. You began to ponder once more, if you could even call yourself his friend right now. I guess you'd just have to wait and see.

Hey I’m absolutely not trying to hate or anything even remotely like that, I’m just genuinely curious, how many asks do you get that you don’t end up publically responding to for whatever reason? Like you said before for example that the flower anon has a bunch of love in your asks and that you got so many nice asks that you had to make a master post to respond to them, I’m just courious!

Valentine’s Day with Tony Montana

GAHHHH I couldn’t get these all out in time for Valentine’s Day :( I’m terribly sorry for that, but I still wanna do them! I’m feeling in a bit of a Tony Montana mood tonight, so we’ll start with him ;) 

Warnings: Alcohol, drug use, but other than that rather fluffy. Proceed with caution if any of these topics might upset you! 

• Valentine’s Day isn’t too different from your usual nights with Tony - they’re always wild, crazy, and you never know what to expect from this man. Not that you mind, of course. That’s half the fun of dating him. 

• He’s a night owl, no arguing that. So don’t expect to do anything with him during the day. He wakes up probably around 4pm, and lounges around until he finally decides he has the motivation to do something. I mean, he has the luxury to do this, doesn’t he? Worked hard for what he has. 

• Okay so anyways, we know this man loves the nightlife. So Valentine’s Day with Tony would be all about living it up, partying your asses off, the works. 

• You two look BANGIN’ as well, but you wouldn’t expect anything less for the most powerful (and feared) couple in all of Florida. Tony would surprise you with a beautiful statement necklace, one that’s incredibly flashy and gaudy. Something that everyone is gonna see, and know exactly who bought it for you. And..well who you belong to. It’s a flex, simply put. 

• WHEW and when you walk down the steps for the first time, in your new outfit and jewelry for the night out on the town... Tony basically turns into one of those old cartoons with the “AWOOOGA” sound effects and the eyes bulging and ok you know what I mean. 

• His eyes travel along your body, smiling as you finally reach the last step where he was standing, waiting for your grand entrance. He spins you around, as you giggle, asking him what he was doing.

• “Takin’ in the full view, mi amor, Like what I see. Y’know what you are, baby? You’re a tiger...my lady tiger.” He dips you backwards, planting a firm kiss on your lips. You smirk into the kiss, playfully biting his bottom lip. Tony gives you that half lidded look, a smirk on his face. Everything he wanted to do with you in that moment was spoken through his eyes. “Keep that up, and we won’t be goin’ nowhere tonight.” 

• You playfully slap him with your handbag, “Well, you better hop to it, Montana. We don’t have all night. You promised me dancing and drinks, and I expect to get both. It’s Valentine’s Day, after all.” Your heels click as you walk across the marbled floor, giving a saucy look over your shoulder as you reached the large double doors of the mansion. “Well?” 

• He loves it when you mouth off to him a bit, he loves how independent you are, how fiery you are. He follows you closely behind, not missing another opportunity to feel you up again as you walk in front of him. 

• You’re also gonna be driving to the club in that ugly ass tiger car LMAOOOOOOO...I hate that thing what even is it.

• The rest of the night is followed with bar hopping, dancing, and so, SO much alcohol. Being as popular as the two of you are, you don’t need to buy a single drink. All of Tony’s friends keep the alcohol flowing throughout the night - perks of dating a drug kingpin I guess. At one point you downed an entire bottle of Pinot Noir on your own. 

• Tony loves dancing with you, he loves the intimacy you share between your bodies. He won’t leave your side for a second, staying right behind you. He’s a bit protective as well, so don’t expect to be having any other dance partners than Tony.  

• Except Tony probably runs off to snort a line of coke or two in the bathroom a few times as well...I mean but we already knew that was probably gonna happen. But he knows you can fend for yourself without him for a few minutes or...well as long as it takes. 

• Yeah you’ll totally engage in a steamy makeout session on the dance floor too, Tony doesn’t care who sees. Everyone knows how madly in love you are with each other, so this extreme display of affection isn’t out of the ordinary. 

• Rile him up too much and...don’t be surprised if he whisks you off to the bathroom for some one-on-one time. **wink wink nudge nudge**

• You’re out till the early hours of the morning partying, until you finally start to crash around the 3AM mark. Even though Tony could probably party forever because this man basically sleeps all day, he understands your exhaustion and takes you home. 

• While Tony sobered himself up enough to drive, you still remained in that hazy drunk stage. He knows you don’t drink much, so you must have really decided to indulge yourself as apart of the holiday festivities. Your head lulled to the side, resting against the car door. He smiled as you took a mini-cat nap before arriving back to the mansion. 

• Noticing how drunk you still were after arriving home, Tony takes the initiative to take care of you the rest of the night. He’ll help you get out of your dress, and wipe off your makeup (much to you groaning and moaning that you could do it yourself). 

• Tony will hold your cheeks in his hands, smiling. “Aww, my little chica can’t handle her liquor, can she?” Tony knows you’re no lightweight, but he cannot pass up an opportunity to playfully tease you again. 

• Will make sure you drink at least one glass of water before you sleep as well. 

He’ll tuck you in, making sure your head is propped up against the pillow. He does everything he can in his power to make sure you don’t have a hangover. And if you do, he’ll attempt to just lessen how bad it is with his precautionary measures.  

• You mumble incoherently within your blanket cocoon, as you reach your hands towards Tony. He laughs, “my baby girl needy? Okay, I got you.” He locks his arms around you, holding you close. He nuzzles his face into your neck, inhaling your scent as you mumble something that sounds something like “Happy Valentines Day.” 

• He smiles, sharing the sentiment. “Happy Valentines Day, my love.” as he drifts off with you.
