Gunnar's "The Fracture". It was "just" an atmospheric environment, but there was so much storytelling stuffed into it, it was amazing and fantastic. Reminded me a lot of how Obsidian would tell entire stories just from the environment and its contents. Great stuff!

Cracks in the Strand
Gross.
That’s what it felt like. Just gross.
It’s not really what I had expected. Certainly not what I’d hoped for. Dipping your finger into the primal underlayer of reality. The stuff that makes stuff. The source of everything. There’s a lot of names for it. I just call it the Whisper.
Looking at it is literally indescribable. More than even Ben is. You turn your eyes right to it and it still eludes like something out of the corner of your eye. Your eyes twitch around constantly, trying to bring it into focus, see its colors and details, never finding them.
It’s fair, though, because it’s not really meant to be seen. Or heard, or smelled, and especially not touched. I don’t even know why I touched it. It was there, peeking out through the cracks in the shattered strandway wall, and I just needed to know what it felt like. I expected the whispering voices to have an opinion on the subject, but they were surprisingly silent.
So I reached my finger through the crack and touched it and it just felt gross. Like a stew made up of literally everything in your pantry and your fridge mixed together, with a side helping of everything in your toolbox and art supplies for seasoning. I pulled my finger back right away but it still took minutes to shake off the feeling.
I looked around at the fog that filled the strandway, pouring from the ceiling and the gaps in the walls. It blocked sight but felt like nothing and smelled like nothing. Strange to think that it came from this… stuff. This stuff that was everything.
I’d been told about this place. Raeth hinted at it. Tass warned against coming anywhere near it. Nobody on the Council liked talking about it, at least not out in the open. Everyone wanted to know what caused it but were terrified to do so. It hit too close to the insecurities the Council pretended not to have. That they didn’t really know everything. That, in fact, they barely knew anything even after a thousand years.
And here I was, freshly minted, youngest Councilor by decades. And I barely even felt nervous. I had expected the voices to be louder here, to crowd out my thoughts like they had years ago. But they were utterly silent. It brought with it a sense of peace.
I continued through the strand. Time would tell if it was the peace of the grove or the grave.

a side effect of magic systems that drain your life force if you overextend yourself or try to harness more power than you possess should be that your body starts to fall apart as it draws on your reserves to make up the deficit. old wounds should reopen, bones should become brittle and break, your immune system should weaken, and your organs should begin to fail and die if you push yourself too far. your body shouldn't simply crumble to dust, but rot, sloughing away in agonising chunks as the necrosis spreads.

TMNT AU COMPETITION - CONTEXT COMICS:
COMIC 1 - COMIC 2 - COMIC 3 - COMIC 4 - COMIC 5
Don't mind, Omega. He's just being dramatic. Thank you so much @abbeyofcyn and @thegunnsara for pulling me into this hilarious mashup as well as @kittynomore @tapakah0 @hylwicks and @isaacz for letting their characters be a part of it! Figured I would use this opportunity to do my Replica introduction as well!
The @tmntaucompetition has barely even started and I am already overwhelmed by the amount of asks and support I've received! Thank you everyone! There are so many things I want to respond to, but I just don't have the time!
However I am so excited to get to interact with some of you! I'll be sure to respond to a few more that reference Omega directly when I can (looking at you @intotheelliwoods and @karonkar )!
Also, please don't destroy my asks trying to offer chew toys to Donnie... it's too late. His fate has been sealed. He's in autistic robot hell now. Goodnight sweet prince.
Also also, uh... THAT one image? Don't think about it too hard. :)

Hypothesis: Aziraphale HATES that Crowley is living in his car.
Supporting evidence:
The very first thing we see him do in the present is stop Maggie from moving out and making sure she feels welcome to stay as long as she likes.
He clearly knows Crowley’s unhappy before anything happens in the plot: “Does it calm you down?”. And also clearly feels helpless about it. Enter the conspicuous Eccles cakes: Aziraphale’s offer, which is rejected.
Crowley’s obviously, for all his hedging, spending a lot of time at the bookshop— so much that he has his own glasses perch and feels immediately comfortable removing them. See also: “Technically my bookshop but we both get plenty of use out of it”, “Why don’t you wait inside? You like waiting inside”.
It’s Crowley who immediately shoves the box of plants into Aziraphale’s arms after Aziraphale returns from Scotland.
Speaking of Scotland, why wouldn’t Aziraphale take the train? Why insist on driving the Bentley? Is it perhaps because he wants to get Crowley and his plants into the shop, and thinks if he creates a situation where Crowley has to stay there, maybe he won’t immediately leave again?
He’s got an empty bedroom and an apparently pathological need to make the person staying there very comfortable, creating cute little customized souvenirs like he’s an Air B&B host (displacement!).
He immediately jumps to having Gabriel stay with him— he didn’t have to. Arguably, both Gabriel and Aziraphale would be safer if Gabe stayed elsewhere.
That’s what I’ve got for now but I’m sure there’s more. Throughout the show, watch what Aziraphale gives to others and does for others, and it’ll tell you what he wants to do for Crowley. He’s living so deeply in displacement in makes him come across as manic and brittle.
(What probably happened is Aziraphale offered the spare bedroom and Crowley, who unconsciously didn’t want to be his roommate or sleep in a single bed with Aziraphale right downstairs because how could the poor lovesick boy cope with that, told him he wasn’t a “good deed” for Aziraphale to do and stormed off.)
Conclusion: Aziraphale asked Crowley to stay at his place, immediately and probably repeatedly. They had a row about it, and Crowley refused, and to this day Aziraphale doesn’t understand why.
And it hurts him.
