if i had a nickel for every time an intrepid hero made up a piece of media as a recurring bit on the fly to help their character be a deceptive little shit only to later reveal that their character was secretly the creator*s of that piece of media in disguise all along I'd have two nickles which isn't nearly enough it's such a funny bit
My sister is apart of this Owl Crate book club subscription and I was inspired by this months book. It reminded me of another famous book.. if I wasn’t editing on my phone I’d turn that sword into an arrow.
how dnd is usually described: make a sad character, roll dice, fight a dragon, win gold, the bard is horny
how dnd actually goes: the PCs’ top priority is the ridiculous subplot that they created as originally just an inside joke, which somehow morphed into a genuine part of the story and now jeremy renner just told someone to call him jer-bear
so sag-aftra has terms for indie film projects to get approved during the strike right? and tons of big name actors probably have some time to do weird little side projects right now right? what i’m saying is:
Literally cannot believe one of the real stakes for the final episode next week will be, "Does Actual Jeremy Renner get to return to the mortal realm, or does he get trapped with the Fey forever?"
my prototype @dimension20official green hunter dice box! there are a few things I’d like to redo, but I’m glad I finished it in time for the acofaf finale!
i really wish jeremy renner sees his name being mentioned in relation to some movie called “the green hunter” and sees talks of dev patel and michael b jordan’s potential casting and then sees the poster of the green hunter with him on it and is just like wtf
I just wanted to write a quick love letter to Lou and Emily for creating the green hunter and maintaining that silly side story. In a game filled with so much heartbreak and serious character moments, I’m so grateful for the moments of green hunter shenanigans where we can breath. The fact that the two of them are so deadly serious about how important airry Perry’s secret is to be kept is really just the cherry on top.
