Sueños de piedra (ch1)
Okay, I promised (to myself) to check out whatever media won the ultimate obscure blorbo tournament ( @who-do-i-know-this-man (I wasn't sure whether to tag you or not but in the end I figured I might as well, hope you don't mind I guess))
Turns out that it's a guy from a 2015 Spanish YA fantasy book
And turns out there's a free sample available! Which is lucky for me because I'm currently very broke
Tumblr media
Sueños de piedra by Iria G. Parente and Selene M. Pascual
I don't speak Spanish so I'm gonna rely on the translator quite a lot lmao (well I understand some Spanish actually, but definitely not enough to read a whole book)
The title translates to something like "Dreams of Stone" I think?
Once upon a time in a kingdom far, far away, a prince rewarded a wizard for helping rescue a young girl in trouble. Charming. Too bad none of this is true. In reality, the prince dreams of glory and revenge; the magician, with her spells not always being a disaster and the young woman in trouble, with fleeing from a past that torments her... and from the memory of the man she has killed. Once upon a time...
(Yes this is just Google Translate, sorry)
Okay so, prince, magician and a damsel in distress? Prince wants revenge for something, who knows what, magician is having trouble doing the magic, and the damsel is in fact a killer? Ok ok
The dedication goes as follows:
To all those who embark on a direct journey towards their dreams every day. May you always reach your destination.
Tumblr media
Okay so Marabilia is a place? That's apparently also the name of this book series. Is this like the kingdom then? So it consists of three islands, two small ones and one big? Or is it supposed to be a continent? It definitely seems too small to be a continent
I know the blorbo is called Arthmael de Silfos so I'm guessing he's from the Silfos area in the north of the big island then. I can see what's probably a city called Duan and a forest called "Merlon Forest". We also have different towers around the big island, one of which seems to be called the Tower of Black Magic. (I didn't even need to use the translator for those yay xD)
Okay the first chapter is called Arthmael so I guess we're meeting our blorbo already, which is nice
— Let me make it clear: are you going to give my crown to a bastard?
Okay..... the very first line and I already think Arthmael might be a bit of a spoiled brat (I assume he's in fact the prince)
Apparently Arthmael just found out that he has an illegitimate older brother but I guess this brother's mother is noble anyway so it's legit? I dunno yet. Arthmael thinks this guy is blackmailing his father somehow and is already considering poison as a solution
And anyway, what kind of a name is Jacques for a king?
lmao, so much shade to all the kings called Jacques
Okay so Jacques's family is very powerful and loved by the people of Silfos and the king fears a civil war if he disrespects his claim to the throne. Alright. Kinda weird since based on Arthmael's thoughts, this society has a similar attitude to bastards as in European history, but okay then. I wonder if Jacques is even actually the king's son or is this some kind of a ruse?
Arthmael is very cheeky and even references his dad's love life directly to his face, his dad is not very happy
The king tells him to just be a good boy and hopefully they'll find him some crown princess to marry so he'll get a kingdom that way
I guess these different areas on the map are kingdoms then, that makes sense. They look like very small kingdoms but this is a small place in general.
Arthmael doesn't seem to mind this idea except that there's only one possible princess like that in Marabilia and that's Ivy de Dione. Not sure what's wrong with her.
Well, who knows? Maybe, if I wait a few moons, some other bastard, in Verves or Idyll, will come out from under a rock and come offer me her hand.
Somebody's very snarky, that's cute
Arthmael is very haughty about how the people have always known him as the crown prince and accepted him as such, Jacques laughs and asks what has he even done for the people. He's like well he hasn't really done much yet because he was planning to do things once he became king, but he's been supporting the local business (taverns) and employing servants (lmao). Also apparently there are some girls he's seeing...
Apparently Jacques's family are big traders and business people (despite being noblemen) and create lots of jobs, and also big on charity, so everybody loves them
Arthmael is jealous of how proud his dad looks when Jacques says this, and how he's never looked at him like that
Well, I guess you're kind of a little shit so it makes sense, Arthmael
— If the smartest thing is to become the idol of a few starving people in order to be king, I can do it too.
Oh my god, this little brat
He declares that he's going to be a hero, to overshadow the charity of Jacques' family, because heroes are remembered by history while philanthropist aren't
So he plans to become a storybook Prince Charming, saving damsels in distress etc.
Jacques finds this understandably hilarious, the king is not amused
Once Jacques leaves, the king again offers to arrange a marriage to Arthmael, specifically with the princess of Dione
I'm almost tempted. I have never been to Dione, but they say that their ships are the lightest and fastest, and that sailors come to their shores from the other side of the sea, speaking strange languages that only they understand. Who come from lands where women wear short dresses, if they wear anything at all. Places where war is so normal that, as soon as a child is strong enough to pick up a sword, they push him to the front lines.
Alright then, I see what he fixates on
Was there anything wrong with the princess then or?
Barbarians. I remove the thought from my mind.
Oh okay. What a charming young man /s
Dione is like right next to Silfos according to the map btw, is this like one of those neighbourly feuds?
Okay he says it's because he doesn't want a foreign kingdom, he wants to keep his home, which is fair I guess
The king is like what do you want me to do, kill Jacques and his pregnant wife? And Arthmael is just like yeah great idea, because he's a dumbass. The king is like wtf
Apparently Jacques' family is from that Duan city that I noted earlier, and his mother died a few days ago and apparently "her loss is greatly felt"
The king regrets spoiling Arthmael too much, and talks about how Arthmael doesn't understand anything about suffering or anything and only cares about girls
Arthmael is already considering faking his death to make them all feel sorry, because of course he is, he's exactly that kind of guy
He says he doesn't want to go try to charm the princess, he'd rather just go off on his own (also there's a whole bit about how only a man can rule Dione or something and the king of Dione won't accept his daughter to become a ruler)
His dad tells him no, just stay here and be a good boy, don't make everybody gossip about drama in the royal family
Arthmael is like hey you managed to hide your bastard son for years, you can hide my disappearance
They fight a bit more but then Arthmael just storms out, grabs a few things from his room and leaves
a change of clothes, a bag of coins, my sword, and my favourite cloak. I do not need anything else.
Okay then, good luck I guess
To be a hero you only need a brave heart. Or so they say.
I feel like you also need to not be a selfish prick but maybe that's optional
Okay end of first chapter!
Our blorbo seems like a real brat!
But I guess the point is probably that he needs to learn some lessons along the way, or something like that, idk. I'm sure there's a reason for why whoever entered him into the tournament likes him so much
I'm guessing the damsel in distress is not the princess? Probably? She wasn't called a princess anyway. TBH she's the character I'm currently the most curious about. The next chapter is from the point of view of someone called Lynne and I hope that's her. Could be the magician too though I guess? No wait, I think the magician is a guy. Altho idk maybe Lynne could be a guy's name, I don't fucking know.
I'm guessing that Arthmael will try to rescue the damsel so he can be a hero, because that's what heroes are supposed to do, but then it'll go wrong somehow? And then the magician will get involved somehow, I have no clue.
That's all my predictions I suppose. Altho I'm guessing that Jacques might turn out to be a villain somehow, I didn't get the vibe that he was particularly great either, just not as much of a brat as Arthmael, and it would then be something for Arthmael to do when he gets back home. Then again maybe the book will surprise me, who knows. To be honest, it would feel a bit like a cop out if it turns out that the guy he hates actually is evil, but it could be handled well, and it's not like I like Jacques either so far. He seems extremely sus too
No guesses as to what the title refers to yet, it could be anything
Idk, like I said, the damsel's storyline is the one that interests me the most rn, it might actually get me to read further (good job, blurb, you got me)
I still have a surprisingly good amount of the free sample left, there's actually nine chapters here, so idk, maybe I'll keep going? We'll see
I'm pretty happy with how much I was able to follow the text even on my own, altho I definitely had to rely on the translator. I would not have had the patience to try to translate all of this myself. But I definitely understood multiple full sentences! Yaaay xD
Apologies to fans of this book series, I hope I didn't seem too rude

Movie Verse Super Paper Mario AU
Given how long my SPM comic has gotten, and the fact that it's about to become more obvious how much the story deviates from the original (particularly with DK filling the role of Bowser as a hero), I figured now would be a good time to put together a rough outline of the plot points in my AU.
This isn't required reading for my comic, this is just for everyone who wants some extra context and info about how my version of events differ from the original Super Paper Mario.
The story starts out with Mario and Luigi at home. Luigi is talking about how peaceful things have been lately, but unlike in SPM he has absolutely no desire to see this change.
Meanwhile, Mario is trying to pretend he isn't a little bored, and is quietly dropping suggestions that the two of them go off and explore some faraway kingdom to break up the monotony.
Suddenly, Toad bursts in in a panic, and The Mario Brothers are ushered to the castle as Toad hurriedly explains that Princess Peach has disappeared.
The three enter the crime scene: her bedroom shows signs of a brief struggle, but otherwise there is no clue to what might have happened except a letter that reads "If you wish to see the princess again, meet me within Bowser's castle" written in unfamiliar handwriting.
Despite this disappearance not matching Bowser's style at all, Toad and The Mario Brothers have little choice but to believe he has something to do with this. They decide to take the bait.
They enlist the help of Donkey Kong in the rescue mission, figuring it'd be best to have the extra muscle given how likely it is this is a trap (plus the karts are a more reliable form of transportation compared to the warp pipes.)
Despite the addition of a giant gorilla to the team, Mario & co. successfully sneak into Bowser's Castle undetected. The guards don't seem to be on particularly high alert. Stranger still, they can't find the princess anywhere.
When Bowser eventually discovers and confronts them, Mario explains the situation and presents the mysterious letter they found. Bowser is dumbfounded, but insists that whatever happened to Peach can wait until after he kills them.
Before things escalate any further, Count Bleck appears from a portal in sort of a rough recreation of this scene:
Tumblr media
Bleck is pleased to see everyone gathered together, and presents the captive Princess "as promised."
Seeing this, Mario immediately leaps to attack the count despite Luigi's desperate plea for him to wait. Like in the game, this causes Mario to get knocked out. Soon after, everyone is sucked away into the dimensional portal except the unconscious Mario.
Mario awoken by Tippi, who– after brief introductions– teleports him away to meet Merlon so they can work together to stop Count Bleck with the help of The Light Prognosticus.
Mario isn't sure how he feels about the idea of prophecies... he doesn't really buy into the idea, despite how much he matches the physical description in the book... but if playing along means Tippi will help him stop Count Bleck and save everyone, he'll do it.
Meanwhile, everyone else awakens to find themselves at Peach and Bowser's wedding. Toad, Donkey Kong, and Luigi do their best to interfere as Nastasia hypnotizes Peach into saying "I Do." Ultimately, Mario's allies fail, and the marriage unleashes the chaos heart.
From there, things continue much like in the game, albeit with a few changes:
As described before, Bowser's role is filled by Donkey Kong. Bowser, in the meantime, aligns himself with Count Bleck to spare his own army from being brainwashed, biding his time until he can usurp the count and gain control of the chaos heart.
Tumblr media
Toad is part of Mario’s group too. He isn't mentioned in the light or dark prognosticus, but he is determined to help out nonetheless (and actually does a pretty good job.)
Unlike in SPM, Luigi stays brainwashed the entire time. The first time Mr. L is defeated, Mario and his allies try to grapple him and drag him back to Flipside so Merlon can take a look at him, but Dimentio interfered and "rescued" Mr. L before they could manage it.
O'Chunks, Mimi, Dimentio, and Mr. L work together as a unit after failing their respective attempts to stop the heroes, leading to a couple of instances of all-out battle royale between Bleck's minions and Team Mario. Bleck's Minions, as dysfunctional as they are, don't succeed in stopping the heroes from obtaining any pure hearts despite their combined efforts.
The ending is where things really get switched up:
The main four, having gathered all the pure hearts, start heading to Castle Bleck to destroy the chaos heart.
In the frenzy of everyone preparing for the confrontation, Bowser... knowing that The Dark Prognosticus prophesied that The Man In Green would be the one to bring darkness to all... draws Mr. L away from the group and tries to kill him.
Dimentio, however, saves Mr. L, and working together they successfully incapacitate Bowser enough for Dimentio to send him back to his own dimension.
This rescue– plus the earlier rescue from the clutches of Mario– causes Mr. L to place misplaced faith in Dimentio.
Seeing this, Dimentio comes clean and asks Mr. L to join him in usurping The Count. He lies that Count Bleck has no intention of creating new worlds after destroying the old ones, and offers Mr. L a portion of his own power if he agrees to assist in making sure the universe goes on.
In my version of things, you have to agree to a partnership in order to get implanted with a floro sprout. It's sort of a contractual thing... one can't just plant something in your brain while you're unconscious.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At this point, Mr. L trusts him enough to tentatively agree to his terms and let him in. This is how Dimentio manages to get the sprout seed inside Mr. L's head.
Sure enough, after Mario, DK, Peach, and Toad defeat Count Bleck and his Minions... and just as Tippi begins to get through to the disheartened Blumiere... Dimentio and Mr. L swoop in to swipe the chaos heart and teleport away.
Mario, while rushing to grab his brother, is the only one who manages to get a glimpse of where they teleported to before both Mr. L and Dimentio disappear completely.
He keeps this information to himself as he and Count Bleck's forces hold a truce, tending to the wounded Nastasia and discussing what to do next.
During this meeting, Count Bleck finally answers the question that had been the minds of everyone on Team Mario: why brainwash Luigi? Count Bleck admits the prophecy in The Dark Prognosticus, explaining that he planned on using Luigi to destroy all worlds. What's more, he insists that if they really want to put an end to the chaos heart and the threat it poses, they will have to kill Luigi as well.
This sparks a heated debate. While everyone's shouting Mario says nothing, but silently slinks away from the group to catch up with Luigi and Dimentio on his own.
He knows that the two have merely gone into a chamber deeper within the castle. He knows where to look. If he can just get through to his brother, maybe he can be saved...
Which leads us right up to where my comic begins.

Okay, given that you think the show switched around a lot of endings (very valid, to be honest), how likely do you think it is that they gave Tommen Tyrion's ending?
The gargoyles watched him ascend. Their eyes glowed red as hot coals in a brazier. Perhaps once they had been lions, but now they were twisted and grotesque. - Bran IV, AGOT
Stone and shattered gargoyles lay strewn across the yard. They fell just where I did, Bran thought when he saw them. Some of the gargoyles had broken into so many pieces it made him wonder how he was alive at all. - Bran VII, ACOK
Tyrion Lannister was sitting on the ledge above the door to the Great Hall, looking for all the world like a gargoyle. - Jon I, AGOT
Motionless as a gargoyle, Tyrion Lannister hunched on one knee atop a merlon. - Tyrion XIII, ACOK
I am by no means certain about Tyrion's endgame but I just came across these quotes while rereading ACOK and I am intrigued. What do you think?
I completely agree with your observation that George has intentionally connected Tyrion to the gargoyles.
"Yes. The gods have been kind to you, Sansa. You are a lovely girl. It seems almost obscene to squander such sweet innocence on that gargoyle." "What gargoyle?" Sansa did not understand. - Sansa III, ASOS
But I'm not sure what the takeaway is.
It seems quite probable that Tommen will throw himself from a window in Maegor's Holdfast.
There's the historical parallel:
Yet all these were as naught against the tragedy that descended on the court and king. On the twenty-second day of the ninth moon of 133 AC, Jaehaera of House Targaryen, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and the last surviving child of King Aegon II, perished at the age of ten. The little queen died just as her mother, Queen Helaena, had, throwing herself from a window in Maegor's Holdfast onto the iron spikes that lined the dry moat below. Impaled through breast and belly, she twisted in agony for half an hour before she could be lifted free, whereupon she passed from this life at once. - Fire & Blood
Plus, throughout A Feast For Crows, George consistently emphasizes the iron spikes whenever Cersei is on the drawbridge:
She paused upon the drawbridge that spanned the dry moat, gazing down at the spikes below. - Cersei I, AFFC
x
She left him on the drawbridge that spanned the dry moat with its bed of iron spikes and entered Maegor's Holdfast alone. - Cersei V, AFFC
x
"Should Ser Loras fall, Your Grace will need to find another worthy for the Kingsguard," Lord Qyburn said as they crossed over the spiked moat that girded Maegor's Holdfast. - Cersei VII, AFFC
Lastly, in the epilogue, Kevan Lannister remarks about the iron spikes, then the text quickly transitions to the lack of available Kingsguard to watch over Tommen:
The dry moat surrounding Maegor's Holdfast was three feet deep in snow, the iron spikes that lined it glistening with frost. The only way in or out of Maegor's was across the drawbridge that spanned that moat. A knight of the Kingsguard was always posted at its far end. Tonight the duty had fallen to Ser Meryn Trant. With Balon Swann hunting the rogue knight Darkstar down in Dorne, Loras Tyrell gravely wounded on Dragonstone, and Jaime vanished in the riverlands, only four of the White Swords remained in King's Landing, and Ser Kevan had thrown Osmund Kettleblack (and his brother Osfryd) into the dungeon within hours of Cersei's confessing that she had taken both men as lovers. That left only Trant, the feeble Boros Blount, and Qyburn's mute monster Robert Strong to protect the young king and royal family. - Epilogue, ADWD
It's not a lot, but it's enough for me. Lol
As much as I'd love for it to be Tyrion, Tommen feels like the safer bet. :)

A Thousand Years As Dragons
A Mario x Zelda Tears of the Kingdom AU (SPOILERS FOR TOTK)
- In this AU, some beings are blessed with sacred power. In this instance, the Star Children play a predominate role in place of the Triforce, and are beings whose spirits are reborn throughout time. Bowser is an embodiment of dark hatred.
- One day, Peach, Toad, Mario, and Luigi are investigating a disturbance under the Mushroom Kingdom.
- What they discover is an incarnation of Bowser from a distant past, imprisoned in a cocoon by a Power Star with two fragments missing. The Dark Koopa King awakens and breaks free. The Dark Koopa King seems to recognise Mario and Luigi, and even recalls Peach's name (despite the latter three never meeting this version). With his power, he easily overthrows the bros, disables their firebrand and thunderhand powers, enveloping the Mushroom Kingdom castle and sending it into the sky.
- At the same time, Kamek, a servant who is resurrected by Dark King Bowser, sends Mario and Luigi back in time using a powerful time travelling spell. Peach remains behind, devastated over the loss of her friends.
- The bros end up thousands of years in the Mushroom Kingdom's distant past. Discovered by a wizard named Merlon, the bros ask him to return them to their time; but Merlon tells them that the spell requires many years of perfection, and as of his current skills, it can only work on one person at a time. He tells the bros that there may be another way to get them back to the future together.
- Meanwhile, Peach, having escaped with Toad from the now floating castle, and ending up on floating islands high above the kingdom, is investigating how to get the bros back to the present and defeat Dark Koopa Bowser. She comes across notes from a person called Merlon.
- Suddenly she notices two dragons in the sky, one red, and one green, who she does not recall ever seeing before. The notes tell her that those dragons are important, and she must follow clues to discover why.
- Back in the past, the bros and Merlon meet up with the Bowser from the past - who at this point is not the monster from the future, but still exerts a lust for power. Eventually, Bowser grows tired of waiting for control, and a battle ensues between the Koopa King, his army, Merlon, an army of allies from the Mushroom Kingdom, and the bros. Merlon uses the kingdom's Power Star to seal Bowser away - as a result of sealing Bowser, the Power Star chips off two fragments.
- With Bowser sealed, and the future still in danger, the bros are desperate to get back to save Peach. Merlon informs them that with their firebrand and thunderhand powers disabled, they would not be able to win even if they could get back.
- However, there is one way, but it is risky. Merlon explains that the firbrand and thunderhand powers are a form of ancient magic.
“A power that is wounded and was originally gifted by the Stars, will take thousands of years to return to its full potential.”
- Merlon states that the bros need this amount of time to restore their powers. And the only way to achieve this is through "Draconification" - a spell only achieved through eating Power Star fragments. However, once transformed, the person can live forever, but will forget who they are, doomed to drift aimlessly with no end...
- Mario volunteers to become a dragon, and asks Merlon to send Luigi back using the time spell. But Luigi won't hear of it. Mario tells him that he'll be safe, and it won't even be long! It will just be seconds to Luigi! But truthfully, he can't let Luigi lose himself, and the time spell can't take them both...
- Luigi knows Mario's true thoughts, and pulls him close, foreheads pressed together and says
“I can’t let you do this alone, Mario. I’m with you, no matter what. Nothing can hurt us. As long as we're together."
- And Mario doesn’t speak. Just holding Luigi closer…
- Merlon gives them the Power Star fragments, as well as some gemstones to further amplify their powers (it will ensure victory, as he ominously says) and the Bros decide to do this alone…together.
- They stand outside, far on the edge of the village, and swallow the fragments at the same time.
- Only a few seconds later, they are overcome by agonising pain. As they are surrounded by a bright light, terrified, they cling together, refusing to let each other go for a second.
- "Luigi”, Mario chokes out.
“I’m here.”
- And with that, the Bros transform into the Fire Dragon and the Thunder Dragon, their bodies coiling around each other as they rise into the sky….
A thousand years pass and the people of the land tell stories about two dragons that fly the skies together. No one knows where they came from, other than the dragons are never seen apart….
And that is the the general outline of the AU. I will be happy to add more in time!

little bitty piece of dg!au to prove 1) i’m still working on it (slowly) and 2) dimentio is a little shit
[]
The path home from the restaurant is much easier; all you have to do is find somewhere no one can see either of you and flip dimensions. It lands you a ways off, near the edge of the forest, but then you simply move yourself and Luigi back onto the doorstep, where Polterpup tackles him immediately to the ground. The force of the dog itself wasn’t enough to floor him, but the step backward he took in response led him to trip over a medium-sized box left on the front step.
This by itself seems innocuous, so you head inside without sparing another glance. But then he brings the box into the house and presses it incessantly into your chest until you take it.
“Very clearly addressed to you,” he says with a roll of his eyes.
“What?” you ask sharply, alarmed. Only three people know you to be here. Did Merlon, determined to cast judgement himself, mail a bomb to the house? That seems rather counterproductive to his goals, and, reading the mailing label, it becomes clear that he had no involvement.
It is addressed to one Thursday Night Living Room Trickster, and where the return address would go there is only a drawing of a flower.
“Does she not remember my name?” you ask, moderately offended.
“Probably doesn’t know how to spell it,” answers Luigi from the kitchen, where he hangs both of your cookie fortunes on the fridge. (For what purpose, you do not know—likely to menace you with them later.)
You set the package on the dining table and stare at it.
“You’re not gonna open it?” Luigi comes out of the kitchen again with, to your chagrin, a container of creamer with which he’ll presumably make himself more coffee. At least he went into the kitchen at all this time, and maybe there is something to be said about him now trying to enjoy the drink now as well.
You nod toward the box. “You open it.”
“Uh, no? It’s for you.”
“What is it?”
“I dunno, she didn’t say anything about it to me.”
“She has no reason to send me anything,” you tell him, suspicious. “She does not even know me.”
Luigi starts the coffee machine and gives you an exasperated look. “What, you think it’s a trap? Just open it. Sometimes she’s just like this.” He reaches into the buffet near the table and slides a pair of scissors your way, then he wanders down into the basement.
Reluctantly and very, very carefully you cut the tape loose and lift the lid. Within, anticlimactically, is another box, though this one has a merchant logo on it. You relax a little, assuming it to be something store-bought, but it does little to abate your confusion. You take up the top of the second box.
Inside is a pair of boots; solid black, attractive, soft leather, tall enough to stop below your knees but cover most of your shin. The soles are sturdy, with about an inch on the heel.
Luigi comes back upstairs with a box under his arm and catches you running your hands over them in bewilderment.
“…I guess she did ask for your shoe size,” he comments.
She did, you recall, the very first time you met her, apropos of nothing. You look accusingly from Luigi, to the box, to the boots, and back to him, and he has the gall to shrug at you over his coffee and wander away. You take the box to the guest bedroom and set it down on the floor against the wall, the boots tucked inside, still suspicious even though you’re not quite sure why. Then you head back downstairs and spend the rest of that night trying to coax Luigi into his room.
A night which he also chooses, despite your heckling, to spend awake.
“I’ll sleep tomorrow,” he promises you, setting another jigsaw puzzle on the table. “Right now…I’m just not tired.”
You pretend to not be interested in the puzzle at all—and manage to stay convincing until the following day. You come downstairs and find him asleep in the chair you left him in, slouched over with his head resting on his arms over the table. He barely completed the outline of the puzzle, and Polterpup is laying on top of the guide picture to capitalize on its status as a hindrance. A politer person would let him alone, maybe after gently draping a blanket over his shoulders in a cloying, warm gesture of affection; but you’re not that person. You’re also not cruel enough to intentionally disturb his first sleep in days, but you’re not about to tiptoe around the house at his wordless behest, either. The fact that he is getting sleep is satisfactory, but you’re not going to structure your day around it.
Long disclaimer aside, you don’t even do anything. You just walk into the room and Polterpup yips directly into Luigi’s ear in greeting. It isn’t your fault.
Luigi jerks awake at the sudden noise and tumbles out of his chair, taking a handful of puzzle pieces with him. While he’s down, you quietly sit across the table from him to sift around in the pieces—seeing you once he pops back up spooks him again so much he reels back and bonks his head on the wall behind him.
“Good morning,” you say cheerily.
He squints at you, rubbing the back of his head. “…Okay.”
“It is customary that when somebody greets you with ‘good morning’ that you should address them with a similar pleasantry,” you inform him. “It is proper etiquette, I hear.”
He stares at you for a moment, unsure whether to knock you off your chair. Ultimately, he decides to not respond at all, plodding into the kitchen to make toast. Judging by the reactions, you can surmise that he didn’t sleep all that well. That’s still an issue you need to address, but he isn’t making it easy.
By the time Daisy crashes through the front door, you have half the puzzle put together without really realizing you were taking it seriously. You expect Luigi placed it on the table intentionally to keep you distracted—meaning he is far more cunning than you once thought.
As usual, they spend most of the visit elsewhere, returning late in the day. They had eaten out, much to your chagrin, and you reluctantly accept the take-home box of food they offer you. From your perch on the sofa in the living room you hear Luigi make an impressed comment about you finishing the puzzle (Easy. Painfully easy, really.) before he starts cleaning up the kitchen. Daisy, predictably, comes to bother you.
“So,” she says, leaning over the back of the sofa with her chin in her hands, “do you do anything besides read?”
Today, you decide to play, and look up from your book. You don’t see Daisy as a threat and making nice with her would work in your favor, anyway. “Literature is not exciting enough for you, I take it,” you say dully. “Would you like me to do a backflip for you?”
“Dude, chill.” She lifts her head and straightens. “I’m not trying to harass you, just curious if you have any hobbies. You know, like for small talk.”
“Small talk,” you repeat, a bit amused. “I thought myself to be ‘on thin ice’ in your regard?”
She squints down at you. “Lu says you’ve been decent lately, so.”
You kind of wonder what the hell that means. ‘Decent’ meaning not actively tripping him in the hallway? ‘Decent’ meaning you’ve been keeping your plotting more subtle until he stops feeding the Heart all of his delicious unhappiness? Or ‘decent,’ meaning your presence doesn’t personally offend him?
“I have always been a gracious houseguest,” you announce. “It is not my fault he’s only just now noticed.”
“Right, right, my bad,” she says, with an emphatic eyeroll. Then, as is routine: “So. Shopping?”
You pause, snapping your novel closed and giving her a level look.
You are wearing the boots now; you have been since this morning. They fit, in fact, very nicely. It has been a long time since you’ve worn something that fits. They press snugly enough against your legs that you forewent the usual practice of taping up your ankles, and so it is that much more noticeable that the rest of your ensemble leaves much to be desired.
Neither Luigi nor Daisy have said a word to you about you wearing them, but Daisy is much less subtle than he is, openly smirking at your feet more than once during her speaking to you.
You open your mouth to respond, and then Luigi meanders into the room—something mundane and inconsequential if not for the teacup in his hands. You freeze, and he lifts the cup pointedly and says, “This actually tastes pretty good—what brand is this one?”
You stare incredulously at him, only hoping as you sense the color drain from your face that you do not look as appalled as you feel. “It—it is—” you start, too slow.
“Is that tea?” Daisy snorts. “Are you drinking tea? I’ve never seen you drink tea.”
“It’s good for you,” says Luigi defensively. “I don’t really like hot drinks, but it’s cooled down. What’d you put in it?” he says, looking up from the cup to you, completely oblivious to how much colder it makes your blood run.
“Ah, so that’s why there’s tea,” says Daisy, also looking at you.
That is why there’s tea, but why drink it now? Yes, you made tea in between you finishing the puzzle and the two of them arriving. You drank most of it yourself, but left a little over half a cup left by way of an experiment. To see just how well he could sense magic.
Because if there are items left out on the kitchen counter, he will surely clean up, and if there is sustenance left in any of those items, he will help himself. Was it a long shot to assume that Luigi might partake of a stray cup of tea, given his usual aversion to it? As you said, it was an experiment. Whether he would pick it up was guaranteed; whether he would sense your tampering with it was debatable; whether he would drink it and then insist that it tastes ‘pretty good’ was not even close on a long list of outcomes you had mentally prepared.
To put it bluntly: you cursed the tea. It is not something you have done more than once, and only on Mother’s behest, that you should properly know how to incapacitate someone in one of the subtlest ways possible. Poisoning someone with curse magic is in no way practical, really, because even if the victim does not detect it until it is too late, they would still be able to tell by the altered taste. And you may have felt a little bit petty after last night, and hadn’t really been terribly cautious about exactly what sort of effect it might have on Luigi, as, again, you doubted he would try to drink it anyway.
You in no way expected to do much damage to the Moon with such a thing but seeing him both utterly unaffected as well as enjoying it is—it’s highly unsettling. He should, at the very least, have the decency to pass out, or report intestinal distress, or—or something.
As if to distress you further, Luigi takes another sip, looking thoughtful. “No, really, what did—?”
“Let me try,” says Daisy, reaching curiously for the cup, and you shoot straight up on the sofa, launching your forgotten novel over the table.
“And here I thought we were discussing a shopping trip?” you say jauntily, and Daisy all but completely forgets about the mysteriously delicious tea. Maybe it has no effect on the Moon—fine. But it most assuredly will kill the girl.
“Waitwaitwait, really?? Is that a ‘yes’?”
Luigi blinks. “Uh, hold on—”
“I may yet change my mind,” you warn her.
“No, you won’t!” she shouts, “I’m putting my shoes on!”
“Er,” Luigi says unsurely, face paling. “I—I’ll—”
“You’ll get some rest,” says Daisy, slinging her bag over her shoulder and giving him a one-armed hug. “I’m gonna go buy your paralysis demon some clothes—Dims, c’mon we’ve only got five hours until the mall closes!”
You click your tongue, wondering if you’ve made a grave error, and follow her duly out the door. “I will give you two hours, at most.”
You give Luigi a look before you leave, indicating that he not try to follow. “Enjoy your tea,” you say airily, and even though you are out of his sight you still feel him squinting suspiciously at your back.

Karmaland Overall Explanation TIME!
Tumblr media
Hi, I will divide this in general knowledge and lore of the newest season so things can be added on a later date as we progress in the history.
First: What is Karmaland?
Karmaland is a minecraft series that has been on going since 2014 with multiple seasons, is considered the biggest SMP of the hispanic community.
This is a modded series which means that new and dangerous mobs appear, new weapons and crafting may get a little complicated but still that keeps the seasons interesting.
Second: General History and development
Since the first season till the third there have been missions but the fourth season picked up the lore and general background story of Karmaland as they introduce the streamers as "hero's" and Karmaland like a village that needs help.
In season four (and I think season five will be similar) the history progress went in three different ways:
Main Storyline/All Events: This means all of the streamers will be most likely present, and this will affect all of them and Karmaland in a meaningful way. This will be already set and be watched by the admins or "Gods" with cool cinematic, special monsters and places.
Group/Solo Missions: With the progress of the history and individual characters/storylines this kind of missions will likely pop out but they are not scripted at the start and goes alongside the people and they have the admins influence in some kind of way.
Regular play: This will be most of the time a casual play is not necessarily roleplaying all the time, most is lighearted with no pressure most content creators make it know when is something relevant by bring it up again or if is just messing around letting things be.
So I expect this season will be similar in most ways, if something changes I will update clearly.
Third: Characters? People?
Yes but to keep it easy aside of the content creators for season V that have appeared.
Merlon: This is the old man with the beard, the one who called the hero's and the one who will be giving the main missions is an npc so don't expect much.
-------------------------------------------------------
Gods: The gods are how they refer to the admins of the server they help with missions and errors on the server so is common for them to be named as an explanation or a joke.
Fourth: Streaming
Officially there's a maximum of 15 hours per week in the server. 12 streaming and 3 max off stream.
They will reset the hours every Sunday.
I think this covers most of what someone who is new can be lost about, if you want me to clarify something or have a question, do it please!
And if you find a mistake please point it out so I can correct it <3

SMG4 AU Idea: Cinematic retelling of the Mario series with SMG4 characters added in major roles. Stuff I've figured out so far is:
The Bros were originally from the Mushroom Kingdom but got taken to Brooklyn as babies by their mom for Important Story Reasons.
Their mom married Meggy's mom so Meggy's the third Mario Brother.
Yes she's a still a girl. Yes she prefers being referred to as their brother.
She can't do Cool Platforming Stuff as well as they can since she's a normal Earth human but she has a water gun that can use powerups. This allows her to discover the joy of wielding a flamethrower.
Bob is the nephew of Merlon from the Paper Mario series, and has been watching over the Bros and was the one who lured them back to the Mushroom Kingdom. He doesn't have a "Merl" name like the rest of Merlon's family because he's trans.
"Which version of Merlon?" It's Merlon. It's all just Merlon. Fuck you.
Saiko is one of Bowser's elite minions and becomes Meggy's archenemy for a while.
Boopkins is her little sidekick who she's very protective of, and a Cheep-Cheep/Spike hybrid.
Toad acts how he does in the movie because I liked the movie and fuck the SMG4 version of Toad.
Bowser's motivation for most of his villainy is to rule the world, but his motivation for kidnapping Peach has changed from being in love with her to trying to unite the Seven Star Children for some sort of Greater Purpose after he senses two of the three Lost Ones return.
Speaking of the last one, Wario, Waluigi and Desti eventually show up to cause problems on purpose and the Bros conform that they're from back home. Wario and Waluigi's real names are Warren and Walter, and they're the bros' childhood bullies (well, Warren was a bully, Walter was more of a recurring annoyance), while they met Desti in college and she and Meggy used to date.
Desti has more-or-less the same abilities and lack of powers as Meggy, and everyone figures out that Wario was also originally from the Mushroom World, but they have no idea how Waluigi can do the things he does.
I haven't figured out what 3 and 4 are but I've been imagining them as some sort of mysterious presences watching over the Bros. And providing snarky commentary in 3's case.
Franky is still Toadsworth's grandson and considers Peach his Aunt. No one sees any reason to correct him on this.
Also Peach has her canon personality because fuck SMG4 Peach.

Happy Mar10 Day!!
Ah, what a lovely day to celebrate Mario, update a Mario fanfic, and include absolutely...no Mario himself for the content. Whoops!
This is a conclusion to the Star Hill arc featuring Merlon and his family, with a devious reveal saved for the end of the chapter, and family drama throughout. How fun!
Excerpt below the cut!
...
Merle turned away from his family and his eyes popped wide as he spotted the crater and house damages. "What in the name of the Stars happened here?!" His hands shot up to his head, and he squished his hood in on his head. "How did…who did this?!"
"None of the children seem to know," answered Merlon, lacking his son's horror.
"They don't even know?" The Shaman father twisted around back to his family. "After being…!" Merle blinked as he paused, breathed in, and then exhaled. "Ok, I understand now." He shook his head and lifted his hands. "Kids, it's all right. I'd rather you be honest than worry your grandfather."
"Huh?" Each of the three wore baffled expressions.
"Come on, it's fine." Merle folded his arms and surveyed the children, squinting a bit as he waited for any odd reactions. "Whoever owns up to making the mess won't be punished or anything major. Just…tell us."
"We didn't do this!" Merlow waved his arms about. "We found it this way!"
"Yeah, seriously Dad," chimed in Merluvlee, "this wasn't us."
"Even if we don't always own up, we wouldn't joke about this," agreed Merlee.
"Right, right, of course." Merle sighed as he placed his hands on his hips. He gave Merlon a weary expression, as the elder Shaman folded his hands behind his back. "I assume you came back to it this way?"
"Of course."
"And did you get to really ask any of them about it, besides checking their story on what happened?" He waited for a few seconds, as Merlon didn't respond. "So, would you come to the same conclusion as I have?"
"They didn't seem to be lying, but I suppose this wouldn't be the first time—"
"Are you kidding me?!" Merlow threw his hands into the air in exasperation. "This wasn't from us! It's not our doing!"
"Now I think I understand." Merle tapped his foot twice. "Merlow, son, it's ok—"
"What?!"
"Earlier, you were in such a state, so that's fine if you lost control—"
"That's not it!" Merlow wildly shook his head. "Why would you blame me?!"
"Enough, Merlow—"
"No, I'm sick of you treating me like I'm some problem or project!" He flung his hand out, as a burst of magic flung out from him, quaking the ground and digging into it. Merlow glared as Merle lowered his eyes and Merlon closed his. "That wasn't what happened to the house!"
"If you're going to keep at it—"
"It's not my fault!"
"That's fine—"
"No, it's not fine!" Merlow lifted his hands, with a heavy pulse ripping from him and blasting out at his surroundings, forcing his family away from him. He panted for a moment, as a gust circled around him, his cloak flapping from it.
...
Ohohoho, such delicious drama...! And yet, that's nothing compared to the chapter's finale.
Looking to learn more? Feel free to click the link above for the latest!
Are you new to the story? Don't worry, it is starring Mario, and in fact, it stars Bowser too! How's that? Why, they fall in love! And unleash a load of drama to fill the Mushroom Kingdom over and again.
Feel free to join in and start from the beginning! It's a long ride, but a fun one, I've been told.
Either way, enjoy, and thank you for reading!

Hello! I speak English and I'd like to talk about Karmaland <3 What's your opinion on current events like Luzu saying he'd even kill Quackity if the situation demanded it despite the fact he originally said he only became mayor to protect him?
Yoooo ur my favorite anon now dude.
Imma name you Steve.
Listen Steve, I'm so glad you asked this my dude.
Luzu saying that he would kill Quackity despite previously stating that everything he does is to protect him is just so *muah* chef's kiss!
I fucking love it because it shows just how skewed his love for Quackity is, he loves him there's no denying that like come on dude but it's an unhealthy kind of love.
It's obsessive, it's manipulative, it's making excuses for hurtful and deceiving actions, it's claiming to do it for one reason but then taking a sharp left on a right turn, it's claiming to want nothing but his happiness and safety but then being the main reason for why those things are no longer available, it's wanting to keep him away from those that only wish to use him for their own personal gain.
Because he sees him as too naive, too trusting, too innocent, he's like those creepy internet men that focus on some online female persona and believe themselves in love that they get so unjustifiable angry when they perceive some sort of romantic or sexual betrayal.
Like Rubuis being Quackity's fist lady, Luzu is right that he's only doing it for some personal gain but is he aware of the fact that Quackity is also aware of this? No.
According to Luzu need protecting because he's simply to innocent to be on his own but when Quackity lashes out against him it's not seen as the proper reaction it should be and instead Luzu views it as a call for attention a way of further affirming that one-sided love for him.
As for Quackity?
Quackity isn't innocent, far fucking from it, he's purposely playing up the act of being some stupid fucking idiot, he's openly manipulative towards the people around him, he's dangerously apathetic and he's willing to do anything to get what he wants.
Most importantly he's angry, he filled to the brim with rage that he flips from happy to apathetic to angry so quicky it's disorienting.
He wants companionship, to not be lonely but he also doesn't care for others feelings unless its actively helping him in some way. So far the only person he's genuinely shown care for was his son Merlon Vegetta but even then I'm iffy about it.
I dunno.
I'm rambling and I hope you don't mind I just love the way things are being played out right now dude. I could write three fucking essays on the dynamic between Luzu and Quackity alone! Don't even get me started on Rubuis and Vegeta or Sapo Peta and Quackity!
Anyways I've typed enough for now feel free to debate me or tell me I'm wrong this is just my interpretation of all this.
Luckity is dead, Luzu is fucking insane and Quackity is gonna do what he always does and crank up to a hundred a go down in a blaze of angry glory.
*Quick side note in the time it took me to answer Quackity streamed and HOLY SHIT! VIENE ARTE AMIGOS! Ya tengo unos dibujitos planeados wey!*

Quote 1: Honestly, I don't know how I didn't think this quote would be submittted. First it's stealing shoelaces, then assination, WHERE DOES IT END????? - Mod Chaos
Quote 2: Super Paper Mario is the only Mario game that has made me cry and it has happened three times now. auoghhh.. - Submitter

Myth AU Ideas Part 1
I’m mixing different canons together for this with dt17 being the base.
Some of The Coots and Ducks have creature forms but it’s a 50% chance overall. (It’s genetics in this case. While with the McDucks it’s a bit of genetics and curses) Here are some of them that have creature forms:
Coots: Elivira Coot (Grandma Duck), Casey Coot, Gus Goose, Don de Pato aka Don Dugo, Cuthbert Coot, etc
(fun fact while doing some looking into Don de Pato, also Don Dugo is his German name. he was originally from the McDucks, but in the LOT3C he was changed to be a Coot ancestor instead. Also the conquistador armor makes more sense now cause he’s actually from Spain. His creature form would most likely be something Spanish but idk yet and with the others idk what there creature forms would be. Also that maybe Panchito and José’s ancestors would also have a form, there’s will also be European for Jose’s ancestor Pascoal Papagaio it would be Portuguese not Brazilian because of the time period same with Panchito’s ancestor Gallus Maximus it would be Spanish not Mexican.)
Ducks: Pintail Duck, Eider Duck, Abner Whitewater Duck, HumperDink Duck, etc
people with creature forms have two different puberty’s the regular puberty and first few transformations.
In Lena’s redemption arc in the au will be a bit different her creature form changes a bit kinda like the mlp changelings in season 6.
Goldie is a mix between a Sirin and Alicanto from Russian and Chilean myths with a bit of Siren. Alicanto is a gold associated mythical bird and Sirin is a bird woman hybrid.
Those who have creature forms are usually seen as a different group compared to those who don’t have one, you usually can’t tell someone has one unless you see them transform. There sometimes seen as a minority depending on the location.
There’s an really rare case where one person has more than one creature form, it’s usually for those with a personality disorders for example D.I.D. but can also happen without the personality disorders, but it’s extremely rare.
The Legend of Three Caballeros Versions of April, May, and June will be in this au as Daisy’s nieces along side the clones May and June from dt17 canon. Webby is not a clone of Scrooge in this au or any au/ new headcanons I make. but May and June are still clones of Webby. TLoTC April May and June all have creature forms I don’t know what they’ll be yet.
--------------------------------------------------------------
Myth AU Duck Family stuff
just to catalog which ones would have a true form and ones that don't, for future reference.
i had to look at a couple of duck family trees for this. and i thought my family tree is complicated. i would add more but this took so long to compile so yeah.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
McDucks: All of McDucks have creature forms
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spouses/Parent/Lover that have one: Downy O' Drake, Daisy Duck, Goldie O' Gilt, Donna Duck, etc
Spouses/Parent/Lover that don't have one: Molly Mallard, Ludwig Von Drake, Goostave Gander, Lulubelle Loon, Luke Goose, Grstchen Grebe, Gertrude Gadwall, etc
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Father of HDL: Unknown
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ducks:
Has a True Form: Pintail Bos’N Duck, Humperdink Dabney Duck, Eider Duck, Abner Whitewater Duck, Donald Fauntleroy Duck, Della Dumbella Thelma Duck, Huebert Huey Duck, Dewford Dewey Deuteronomy Dingus Duck, Llewellyn Louie Duck, April Duck, May Duck, June Duck, Clones May and June Duck, etc
Doesn't have one: Daphne Duck, Quackmore Duck, Fethery Duck, Gladstone Gander, Moby Duck, Dugan Duck, Dickie Duck, Clyde Shamrock Gander Duck, etc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Coots:
Has a True Form: Elivira Abigail Coot, Cuthbert Coot, Casey Coot, Don De Pato Dugo, Gus Goose, Kildare Coot, etc
Doesn't have one: Cornelius Coot, Clinton Coot, Fanny Coot, etc
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Honorary Family:
Have True Form: Webbigail Webby Vanderquack, Bentina Beakley, Launchpad McQuack, Lena DeSpell/Saberwing/LeStrange, Gyro Gearloose, etc
Doesn't have one: Fenton Crackshell Cabrera, Violet Saberwing, Goslayn Mallard, Drake Mallard, Boyd, Panchito Romero Miguel Junipero Francisco Quintero González III, José Carioca, etc
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All Duck AU’s and OC’s Ideas and shit
Super Paper Ducktales Ideas: im going to try not spoil anything from the game (even tho it’s 15 years old but still) cause I highly recommend you watch a let’s play or play it for yourself to understand what im trying to do. Plus it’s a amazing game.
Since Mimi is Webby (kid minion) and Della (adult minion) they both should have the “true” form like Mimi does In the original game (if you know you know) idk if I’ll stick with the spider aspect of the original or go for something different. The Thing aspect of the original will still be there, it has to be terrifying.
Some scenes change depending on the version of the au. Like for example the love simulator portion of chapter 3-4 will stay both versions with slight differences.
Im thinking Gladstone or Dapper Duck for Bowser in the adult hero version, but Im debating whether or not it’s a good idea.
Some events are completely changed or removed to make it fit more with the duckverse.
Angst potential everywhere. >:) Donald and Louie get tortured to hell and back (literally) just like Luigi does in the original game. (My favs getting lots of trauma is my fav thing to do cause I love em)
Some Super Paper Mario lore (and yes there is more for this, seriously look it up) will stay the same like pixels origins for example, while others will change to be more close to the duckverse like the origin of the prophecies. Etc.
——————————————______
Mythology AU:
I’m adding aspects of the legend of the three caballeros, cause I love that show and the mythology parts of the show fit perfectly with what my au is about in a way. And aspects of other duckverse canon.
The forms for Jose and Panchito’s ancestors are based on forms from Portugal and Spain or Rome, due to the most possible time period which is the 16th century, during that time Portugal and Spain conquered Brazil and Mexico. Theirs come from curses (this is the reason why Jose and Panchito don’t have creature forms because it never passed on to their families. Maybe some family members would have one but it’s rare.) not blood like Don de Pato, who passed it on to some members of the coot kin. Their forms are: El Coco, El Cuco, etc from Spanish and Portuguese folklore for Gallus Maximus (Panchito’s ancestor) and for Pascoal Papagaio (Jose’s ancestor) Besta-Fera a Portuguese centaur.
The Shellgoose family could have creature forms as well that comes from a curse from passed on through the generations. It could skip generations. (There’s also a the possibility that Gladstone could be part shellgoose as well which honestly is a really interesting theory)
Xandra has some knowledge on the possible origins of why the mythicals exist.
People who have creature/true forms are called mythicals
April, May, and June (not the clones) have creature forms, but there’s will be different from each other. But I’m still thinking of what it will be.
————-________——————-
Zelda AU:
Like the Super Paper Ducktales au some things will change others will be removed or added to fit with the duckverse.
The only ones I’ve thought of so far are the Twilight Princess and Ocarina of Time/Majora’s Mask eras. And some characters roles.
Lena is link in twilight princess era and can transform into a shadow wolf.
——————————————
UnderDuck AU:
Humans exist in this au just like in Undertale.
———————————————-
Lost Limbs AU:
Almost everything that happens in Ducktales 17 canon is the same in this au, except for Donald losing his limbs.
Donald feels very insecure about the fact that he lost his limbs. Unlike Della who is more confident about it.
———————————————
Vacuum:
Vacuum’s nickname is Vac or Victor
He’s really good at making crochets
———————————————________________
Xena:
Xena has committed murder before, but it was accidental, and sense then has become deathly afraid of losing control of herself again.
—————————__________
That’s all I have for now

Paper Mario Theories
So now I've talked about all the Paper Mario games that currently exist, I want to talk about a personal theory. Warning, less proof for the second three games. And a lot of my "evidence" for either game could be considered coincidence.
My theory is that the first three games are a series or timeline, occuring in the order that you play them. And the second three games are their own series or timeline, occuring in the order you play them.
Now it's easier with the first three, simply because of the amount of things that reappear, as well as the fact that none of the events take place in the same place. So not multiple "Bowser kidnaps Peach from her castle" stories. First, I want to note that in Paper Mario characters like Merlon, and the other creatures like him are constant throughout Paper Mario, Thousand Year Door, and Super. They're even major side characters, the ones helping move the plot along in Super Paper Mario. In Paper Mario, Merlon is a seer who can give you hints throughout the game, and anyone else of his race is found on Star Mountain, either as a way to get badges or other things. In Paper Mario Thousand Year Door, Merlon is the one who powers your partners up so they can help you better in battle. His kin tend to be the ones who can give you all kinds of bonuses in fights and such, if you know where to find them. In Super Paper Mario, Merlon straight admits that his race wrote the Light Prognosticus to counteract the Dark Prognosticus, and Merlon is the one who tells you of your quest, helps you wake Princess Peach up, and tells you who all the heroes in the Light Prognosticus are (through his hints, we can tell it's Mario, Peach, Bowser, and Luigi.) He even tells you what will happen if you don't succeed. But that's just one thing. Hey, did anyone else who placed Paper Mario and Thousand Year Door notice Parrakarry is in both? Yeah, he's a partner character you can't complete the game without in Paper Mario and the one who delivers you the letter from Peach containing the map to the Crystal Stars in Thousand Year Door. If that's not an odd coincidence, I don't know what is. Oh, what about Francis in Super Paper Mario, who has posters with a clear reference to Thousand Year Door, as well as being a fan of a show called X-Nauts, the villain group trying to free the big bad in Thousand Year Door. Definitely not proof in this case, but it makes a weird kind of sense when you remember you're basically traveling between dimensions throughout Super. Again, not proof, but certainly worth noting. Oh, and all three games take place at different locations as the hub world. Paper Mario's hub world is Toad Town. Thousand Year Door's hub world is Rogueport. Super's hub world is Flipside. It would actually be more likely to be different books if they all took place in Toad Town and around the castle.
Now let's talk about the other three games; Sticker Star, Color Splash, and Origami King. There's really not much evidence here, so it's actually possible they're all completely seperate books. Though I do find it interesting they have similar themes of the world falling apart and only being able to fix it through stickers/paint/confetti with the help of the Navi character (Kristi, Huey, and Olivia.) They're also the only games to make the brazen paper jokes. Don't get me wrong, paper jokes started to appear around Thousand Year Door and Super's 3-D abilty only really makes sense in a world of paper that's normally 2-D, but it's not nearly as much. In Sticker Star, Origami King, and ESPECIALLY Color Splash, the paper jokes are constant. Heck, half the damage or repairs only make sense in a paper world. Olivia comments that you get confetti out of the plants and trees. Again, only makes sense in a world of paper. You can restore color to the world through paint. Only makes sense in a world of paper. And anyone hear of a Sticker book? Yeah, no real proof here. Though here's some weirdness for you. All the, for lack of a better term, "Egyptian Ruins" in desert settings are all pretty much the same. With these more humanoid style art with the toad heads. Seriously, looks like either ancient toads thought highly of themselves, or they were tall. There's lots of reference to legendary captains, at least in Color Splash (legendary pirate captain) and in Origami King (Captain T. Ode.) Oh, and have I mentioned the Things yet? I haven't, well, a Thing is a 3-D object that can be flattened into a sticker, or squeezed into a card. Or, in Origami King are either bosses of areas or just...kinda there. The only one you actually pick up is a hook used to lift a sewer cover. Now interestingly, when they first appear in Sticker Star, no one seems to know what these Things are, or what they do, other than that, as stated by Bowser Jr. they are quite powerful. In fact, if you put a sticker of a Thing in the Sticker Museum you'll get funny names to most of them, and a funny little blurb that either indicates they have no idea what it actually is, or is a way it is used for fun. As an example, the Fan Thing is labeled as a Voice Modulator and it's blurb basically talks about how talking into it makes voices sound. But the Cell Phone Thing, which is a flip phone, is designated to be a beach or pool-side lounge chair that your boss can call you on. It's hilarious things like that. But by the time of Color Splash, everyone seems to know what these Things are, or at least they are no longer the novelty they once were. When Card Things are put in the Card Museum (not nearly as fun or satisfying, in my opinion because it's not as expansive) the explanation and name of the Things tend to be the bland, boring, normal explanations. Like how fans are used to blow air around. By game three, they are used in normal activities, note the hook Thing that you use to lift a sewer cover. The only slightly odd Thing is the Fan, which comes to blow away the fog later. The other Things you deal with are the boss Things of Colored Pencils, Rubber Band, Hole Punch, Tape, and Staples, all said to be tools used in the art of Origami.
So what do you all think? Did you guys notice anything weird if you played the games that I might have missed or didn't talk about here? Did you notice any paterns in my second bit of rambling? Did you find this interesting? Have a great day all!

The Swords of Ophir

“Bring the initiate. And the bloody traitor.” Sir Rollo said.
Sir Rollo motioned with his head, his dark steel pot helm frightened a nearby buzzard, sending it darting to the south. As another knight nodded and walked away, Sir Rollo looked over the side of Bishop’s Tower, which despite countless centuries was untouched by decay. Why would anyone build a tower over a thousand feet high, he thought, looking down at the bleak nighttime landscape. If his order had built it, it would have been far shorter, twice as thick and even more remote.
Still, no other tower has enough lurking magic for a proper initiation...
Red lightning flashed in the east.
“The enchantment works.” Two other knights said in unison. Sir Rollo turned, counting ten knights besides himself, all standing close to the edge of the tower, their backs resting on merlons. One more knight, and we can begin, Sir Rollo thought.
The Swords of Ophir were the greatest fighting force in Lowland Empire, warriors feared for, among other things, their strength, brutality and uncanny ability to sniff out danger. For some reason it was impossible for them to suffer a surprise attack; all such attempts ended with the knights pouncing on their would-be attackers from behind. Nobody knew how they did so, though there were rumors that witchcraft was involved. Others said that they simply had a good sense of smell, and some said-
The tower door slid open. A large, long-haired man wearing a white tunic and short green leather britches emerged from it, pouring water on his head from a cup. Behind him, the knight that Sir Rollo sent walked up onto the tower, a bound woman in his arms. Sir Rollo watched as the man in the white tunic poured water on himself again, then dropped the cup, lifting his hands skywards. More red lightning fell.
The door slid shut.
“Positions, everyone!” Sir Rollo said.
Dropping the woman onto hard cold stone, the other knight joined his brethren. They stood in a circle around the top of the tower. Sir Rollo stood right before the southernmost merlon, locking eyes with the initiate. Nodding to the other knights, Sir Rollo drew his great sword out, holding it upwards with both hands. The other knights did the same. A bolt of red lightning struck nearby, shaking the earth with its thunder.
“Initiate! State your name!” Sir Rollo said. Wide eyed, the woman tried to scream through her cloth gag as the initiate looked upwards. The rain was falling harder now.
“Dobs, Son of Lord Hood!” the initiate said. The knights lifted their swords higher.
“What is your business here, Dobs, Son of Lord Hood?” Sir Rollo said, cocking his head. He was pleased to see the initiate smile.
“I am here to enter the Sacred Order of the Swords of Ophir!”
“A noble pursuit, yet why should we let you enter our order?”
“I have passed the first tests, my lord.”
“Which tests?” Rollo said, knowing the tests well yet asking anyway, as was custom. The initiate’s smile grew. The woman wailed and tried to cut the ropes binding her hands on one of the stones as he replied.
“I have passed the test of prayer, I have passed the test of church, I have passed the test of holy water-
“Three holy privileges that will be denied to you once you’ve proven yourself tonight.” Sir Rollo said, interrupting him as he had many an initiate after they mentioned holy water,
“A sad sacrifice, yet one that will serve the pious cause, one that will serve to defend the church.”
Sir Rollo studied the initiate.
“What else?”
“I have also passed the test of the deathly kiss.” The Initiate said.
“Administered by Lady Esther, the head of our order.” Sir Rollo said with a nod.
At the mention of Lady Esther, the bound woman all but went mad, moaning as she continued to attack her bonds, the stone proving sharp but not sharp enough.
“The Lady Esther is always pleased when a new knight is added to our order. Perhaps, if we let you in, you might one day become one of the elders of our order, second in power only to our dear Lady Esther. Such elders…surround you now.”
Sir Rollo approached the initiate slowly, lowering his sword.
“Do you swear to protect this blessed, Christian empire with your sword and shield?”
“I do, Sir Rollo!”
“Do you swear to protect the sacred church?”
“I do, Sir Rollo!”
Another red lightning bolt cam down, far closer than the others. The thunder almost made the tower tremble. Sir Rollo was pleased by its sound.
“Do you swear to protect the innocent?”
“I do, Sir Rollo!”
“If you see parents abusing their child, will you stop them, hack their limbs off and feed them to the fire?”
“I shall, Sir Rollo!”
“If you see a husband abuse his wife, will you knock his teeth out with your gauntlets? Will you have your steed stomp on his fists?”
“I shall, Sir Rollo!”
“If you see a witch exercising her dark arts, will you feed her your blade? Will you leave her remains to the wolves?”
“I shall, Sir Rollo!”
Nodding, Sir Rollo walked around the initiate, at one point stepping on the woman’s belly. As the woman grunted and got into a fetal position, Sir Rollo looked to the south, seeing more red bolts fall.
“So, you say.” Sir Rollo said, turning his attention back to the initiate,
“But will your words hold up to the ancient test? Your second to last test? The most important test…of all?”
“They will, Sir Rollo!”
“Will you remain standing, or burn when the test is initiated?”
“I will stand, not burn, Sir Rollo!”
Sir Rollo grinned.
“We shall see.”
Walking towards the southernmost merlon, Sir Rollo lifted his sword again. As the red lighting drew closer, the knights chanted in Sumerian laced with Horite verbs. The chanting grew as the woman emitted a muffled scream, the prayed to God, tears falling from her eyes as she looked at the dark sky above. Sir Rollo raised an eyebrow. You should have thought of prayer before spying for the Kingdom of Matherud, Sir Rollo thought.
“I stand here, before the 12 elders, ready for my task.” Dobs said, closing his eyes.
Red lightning flashed nearby. The subsequent boom rattled both the tower and those upon it. The woman screamed louder.
“I stand ready, I stand in honor…I stand to await the test that will prove me of noble worth!”
The knights looked skyward, storm clouds obscuring their view of the stars. They spoke in unison.
“LET THE BLESSED APKALLU…DECIDE YOUR FATE!”
Huge, winged blue men appeared in the clouds, albeit for a split second. Then red lightning spilled down, falling onto the knight’s swords. As the thunder roared the bolts slithered together, then came down on the initiate. Dob’s scream pierced even the thunder, his body trembling. The knights chanted in Akkadian as the red lightning bolts spilled down the tower, down onto the earth, down onto Gilsa River nearby, its black waters bubbling.
After seven seconds…the lightning vanished.
In the center of the tower…Dobs remained standing, his body and clothing smoking. Sir Rollo nodded slowly, then pulled out a black necklace from his pocket, laden down with a blue onyx stone. Sir Rollo stood before the initiate, cocking his head again.
“The Apkallu, mighty spirits of old Sumer, have deemed you worthy for this brotherhood. Will you accept this Necklace of Order, the kind of necklace that we all don upon entrance into the brotherhood?”
A necklace you’ll inherit from a long dead member of our order, Sir Rollo thought with sadness. Only a few initiates were lucky enough to don a necklace once worn by a fellow brother, instead of one freshly made. Better prove yourself worthy of the privilege in battle, Sir Rollo thought.
“I do, Sir Rollo!”
The knight looked down at the woman.
“The prisoner was found guilty of treason. Her certificate of execution was brought with her to our tower. We are to carry out the king’s justice.”
Sir Rollo looked at Dobs, his piercing green eyes narrowing.
“Before you wear the necklace, before you become one of the Swords of Ophir…there must be blood. This is the final test.”
Dobs looked at the woman. His jaw muscles tensed.
“Will you shed this blood?” Sir Rollo said.
Dobs nodded, then grabbed the woman. Lifting her up, he held her arms tight, keeping her from squirming. As the woman cried, Dobs nodded to Sir Rollo.
“By this blood, by this life...I prove myself worthy.”
Grinning, Dobs bit down onto her neck. As she squealed and moaned her blood fell to the tower, her skin turning white. After a few seconds, Dobs dropped her lifeless body. Just as pale, Dobs looked at Sir Rollo, licking his lips. As the knights studied him, Dobs bared his fangs and hissed. As Sir Rollo put the necklace on him and spoke, the other knights hissed as well.
“Welcome, brother.”

-me about to go to sleep- -see that you answered- Fuck sleep and being responsable, is theorising time
My question is, like rn k!Quackity is getting along with Luzu and Rubius. If there is a moment when all of the Karmaland members remember their previous life in his entirely, do you think he will revert to how c!Quackity is now? And another question, what happened with the dsmp? I was just straight up abducted by Merlon? Or did he ended up in another place because something happened in the dsmp? Cause for what I know, k!Quackity said he was in jail for a bit ?
1-. We know that C!Quackity is manipulative, so I say he will revert from K! to C! but he will still act like K! to keep apearences.
2-. So we know that C!Dream escaped, and we also know that he has something against C!Quackity because he tortured him during his time in prision, so maybe (Headcanon coming) C!Quackity and C!Dream where having a fight, C!Dream took one of the two last life of C!Quackity, and C!Quackity instead of respawing in the DSMP, respawned in the Celestial Realm cause DreamXD make a Deal with Heberon and the other gods, so yeah, he got teleported after a battle.
3-. I have to rewatch the lore cause I remember the jail thing but not so much
4-.THEORIIIES PEOPLE THEORIES.
5-.Theorising about K!Quackity feeling phantom pain about his scar: Beloved Drellumina anon 🤝 Me
Hellow silver! Let's get this going with the questions again cause this is the kind of feedback I like.
1. The thing is we don't know how long would it be for the full memories to come back, if be forms a meaningful relationship (not necessarily ship) he would become c!quackity still? Cause getting the memories back is not like he would magically change into c!Quackity, cause he would have another life already made in Karmaland.
2.The whole he being persecuted and fighting I like, but what is the motive behind DreamXD to make a pact with Heberon? Cause if DreamXD works with c!Dream (which I don't think) it wouldn't make sense cause maybe c!dream would use c!Quackity for something, if DreamXD is acting of his own volition, why c!Quackity? If he is acting thinking of c!dream wouldn't he get rid of c!Sam too?
3.The Jail thing I grabbed from my mutual, I don't remember much either, so let's make a truce in that. Lol
4. Here we have a lit of theory's, headcanons and like two or three Au's. And this blogs isn't that old like omg.
5. Drellumina Beloved 🤝 Kuackity 🤝 Silver. Making a lot of headcanons and au's incluiding k!Quackity and c!Quackity even if cc!Quackity hasn't say shit about the dsmp and probably doesnt plan on combining the lore.
Thats life baBYYYYYY
