Their s/o with extreme abandonment issues (also Stockholm bc come on usually they are kidnapped) becoming so afraid that they'll never come back and leave them forever whenever they leave for work
For @aizameow
They’d find it adorable how you cling to them, not wanting them to go and imploring them to stay. But it’d also worry them how you’d hyperventilate and work yourself up to the point of almost fainting. Their hearts shatter as you beg so piteously, unable to see them through your tears. They give in and stay with you, powerless to deny you and not willing to leave you so torn up. They drop everything and scoop you into their arms, assuring you that they aren’t going anywhere.
You put on a scene every morning when they’re about to take off, and they always gave in, until the one time they didn’t.
The heroes had used up all of their vacation days, and they had other responsibilities that required their attention, but they affirm you’re the most important thing to them. You’re just going to have to be brave for them.
“Can you do that for us, sweetie? Can you be brave?”
“We’ll be back before you know it.”
“We left so many fun activities for you to do, and you can tell us all about them when we get home!”
“No! No, don’t leave me!” You pleaded, hiccuping, your vision blurred as you rush past them to barricade the door in a vain attempt to keep them from leaving.
“Honey—honey please don’t.” Hizashi warbled, trying to stand strong but his resolve crumbled at he sight of your tears, at the puppy eyes you beseeched him with. “please don’t cry, yer gonna make me cry too.”
“It—” His throat is clogged as he tries to get his words together without breaking down right along with you. “it won’t be for that long, hon’.”
“Kitten, we have to go. If we could stay with you we would. We don’t like it anymore than you do.” Aizawa seeks to talk you down, but you only shake your head at him. He sighs, he can see they’re going to have to forcibly move you but he’d rather not traumatize you like that, so he tries again.
“We wouldn’t be able to care for you if we never went to work.” It wasn’t true, between the two of them they could live comfortably if they were to retire, but you had to learn to be okay with them leaving the house, and it might as well start now.
“You just want to abandon me! What if you don’t come back?” You blurted, your face on fire. And you knew it was low but you were desperate. Desperate for them to stay. “You said you loved me! Made me believe it and now you wanna throw me away! If you leave you’ll hurt me! Do you want that?!”
Hizashi chokes on a sob. “O-of course we love you! We don’t wanna go but we have to! Songbird, please.” He’s on his knees and hugging your waist, smearing tears into your shirt as he nuzzled comfort into you.
“If you leave—” Your heart thuds, and you scramble for any reason for them to stay.
“I’ll—I’ll hurt myself!”
The color drains from their faces, and to your amazement and delight they drop their bags, but it isn’t for the reason you were hoping. Shouta goes about hiding every knife, every fork—any and everything you could use to injure yourself with. He’s a storm as he tore through the house ‘baby-proofing’ it, so you couldn’t follow through with your threat. He didn’t know if you were being manipulative or not, but they weren’t taking any chances. His husband cuddled the life out of you meanwhile, your shirt positively soaked.
“Pumpkin, don’t say stuff like that.”
“Please don’t say anything like that again.”
“It won’t be for that long, I promise.”
“I promise, baby. You’ll be okay.”
It’s a team effort as they pry you from the door, their expressions solemn, and you go kicking and screaming, your fingers grappling at the frame as you tried to hang on to it, but you were no match for two active heroes who’d trained at UA.
In a last ditch effort you hurl yourself at their backs, hugging them tightly and refusing to let go. Hizashi breaks, his hair falling into his face as he bowls over, his shoulders shaking from his sobs. He couldn’t do it, he just wanted to snatch you into his arms and take you with them. “Shou, I c-can’t do it.” He sniffs, long and wet, before he faces his spouse.
Aizawa stood strong, putting his foot down. “Zashi, you have to.”
They’re batting your hands away and pushing them back in the door as they struggle to close it.
And they have to hear you screech and wail after they’ve reluctantly left you for the day.
They give you lots of cuddles before they leave, and award you with even more when they get home.
Lots of goodbye kisses, and they wipe your tears away. They let you call them while they’re at work, so you can hear their voices. And they bought you plushies of them, when given a warm squeeze their voices are reassuring you and hugging you back with how tender their words are. How they love you so, so much, that they’ll always come home to you, you just wait on them.
Hizashi and Shou are always bearing gifts when they greet you at the door, they know how stressful it is for you and they try to make it sweeter by having a treat for you to look forward to after they leave. To help you get used to it and see it as a positive opposed to a negative.
They gift you with a companion, a tiny friend to keep you company while they’re away.
They low-key enjoy how attached to them you are even if it’s unhealthy. They don’t want you to be distraught or mentally tormented—they hate that part. They’ve always done their best to show you their faithfulness, their dedication. They wouldn’t have gone through all that effort if they were just going to toss you away. They would never do such a thing. You meant so much more to them than that. They’d never let you go, just like you were never leaving. You were stuck with them as much as they were stuck with you.
But they’d be lying if they claimed not to love how tight you held them, pleading for them to never leave you all alone as they squeezed back with just as much strength, if not more. Oh, you don’t have to worry, darling. They’d never leave you lonely. Lifting your chin, Hizashi tells you your lonely days are gone. You’re pulled into a luscious kiss, the passion and love fueling it so staggering it takes you down as he encourages you on your back; they spend the rest of the day reaffirming their devotion, and maybe after this reminder you wouldn’t be so loath to see them go. But they’d remind you as many times as you needed if this lesson didn’t stick.
Morning sex so you’re left with a good feeling—in a pleasured haze, a keepsake of their love, you hold that for them, and they’ll gift you another one when they arrive home. They wear you out so you’re more docile and relaxed. Hizashi and Aizawa do their best to eradicate those fears while fucking those insecurities out of you—that wrong way of thinking, and doing everything in their power to fuck their loyalty into you. Their heartfelt vows are as passionate as the push between your thighs.
“Our love for you is endless, we would never abandon you.”
“We love you so much!”
“We’d die without you.”
“There’d be no more sun, it would still shine, but it could never return light into our lives. Not like you do. Nothing compares to the warmth and joy you bring us; resplendent as it is, it could never hold a candle to your beauty.”
“You give us life! The music in our souls!”
“This trio is forever!”
They give you that good lovin’.
If their words aren’t getting through to you, then let their actions convince you.
