I think it might have been planned based on a few things such:

Louis announcing 1 day before that he was going to be online and chat with us. He never did that before. I was already a bit suspicious when he posted that tbh

People were expecting him to be online the whole day and when he started chatting we were amused by his usual sassy self until he mentioned Freddie and then the whole Chicken Parmesan happened.

When I found out that that article was posted 1 day before it was already a little confirmation that this whole thing was planned for me

On top of everything, it’s interesting because the article quoted the “childish conspiracy theory” that he mentioned but at the time that they posted that he hadn’t even started answering questions.

But when I read the comments under that article on the writer’s end, that confirmed it even more for me. They’re saying that they prepare some articles beforehand

But honestly how do you accidentally quote something that’s not been posted yet? Do you foretell the future?

Anyways, he sat a date and made sure to mention Freddie and Larry (honestly this was the stretchiest of the strechtes on all the things he could have chose to speak about larry. He or the person who answered for him saw the word chicken and panicked and rushed to make a comment on that not realising that it wasn’t even the right dish shfkshdj) at the same time.

I don’t even know the reasons tbh, it could be anything but the thing is it happened and one of the funniest things is that I’m sure a new wave of new larries is going to join

I was thinking about Christina being absent a lot of the time, especially after Sam left, and it raised the question:

How does Tara take care of herself in the years between Sam leaving and coming back? Christina wasn't really present, so who bought groceries and stuff like that? Did Tara have to get a job? She wouldn't have been able to for several years because of her age, so did Christina just give her money every so often?

I imagine that her friends and their families helped out a lot, but at the same time I can't really see Tara accepting too much help (or even telling them to begin with), especially from adults/parents.

What are your thoughts?

By the time their father left, Christina did nothing except drop off an envelope of money on the counter monthly and pay the bills. Sam learns to forge her mother’s signature to sign off on Tara’s medical needs

In my head, Sam leaving doesn't change that; Christina keeps to the routine. She pays the bills and leaves money on the counter.

We do know Tara does have a job at one point, at least the summer before senior year, because that's where she met Liv (and Vince). I imagine she did that to get experience and to start having some freedom of her own - she would have been 19 at that point. And no doubt to begin saving up in case her mother decides to kick her out. She's so unpredictable, Tara never knows what mood she'll be in: the one where she screams at her and calls her a parasite, or the one where she weeps in her arms telling her to never leave her.

I think Tara would have spent a lot of time around friends' houses - she doesn't like to be alone. Martha and Judy are always encouraging their kids to bring Tara around, always trying to look out for her - especially straight after Sam leaves, knowing that her mother wouldn't be around. They could offer her dinner, a sleepover, some snacks - but she won't accept more. No money, no clothes, no help at home. Tara shuts down the slightest hint of that. Judy helps Tara learn to drive, she allows that. She could never afford a car or the insurance, but she appreciates that she took the time to teach her anyway. Hicks feels especially protective of Tara, she could never help Sam. She feels bad that she couldn't intervene early enough to help prevent that descent, too busy trying to help Dewey with his.

I need a doctor who has the patience, experience, humor, and directness to listen to whatever new treatment ideas I've concocted, and then either say "Alex, that's a stupid fucking idea, let me explain why," or "The risks are acceptable in my professional opinion. Let's go over pros and cons and then you can think about it and decide what to do."

I just think it would be fun. For me. And I wish I could find a doctor who would also find that fun. I already came up with one fun Treatment for an Illness and have been successfully using it to treat The Illness for almost a YEAR, and all the side effects are awesome so like...I am certainly full of hubris at this point.

Thank you for saying so! Yeah, it just breaks my heart and I definitely wouldn't feel so strongly about it if Ray Stevenson were still with us. It would honestly make sense if the showrunners had been trying to hold back on Baylan's plotline so that it could be explored in a movie or in the following season... but it's just such a misfortune.

I'm worried that there won't be enough time in the last remaining episode for Baylan to get the conclusion that he deserves. But I'm still grateful that we have had such incredible scenes that showcased his performance and character in previous episodes.

guys i have come to a realization today that i’m definitely going to die trying to move furniture by myself and getting crushed. i was moving a dresser and dropped it a little bit on the stairs and my life flashed before my eyes like it was bad. i need to stop trying to rearrange my room tbh because now i can see where all this is going.

Ive seen a lot of ppl say that Musa was whitewashed by the Fate: Winx saga, but while I agree an east asian actress should have been chosen, the actress Elisha Applebaum is jewish. From what Ive read, its controversial whether jewish ppl inherently count as poc or not so im not sure if I would call it "whitewashing"

Well, I'm not sure I'm the best person to talk to about this considering I'm not Jewish?

But from what I do know, this is an extremely controversial topic (like you said) that really doesn't have any one answer. There are Jewish people who fully consider themselves to be white (and Jewish of course but like... white too), and there are Jewish people who consider themselves to be poc. I think it's important to remember that a lot of the "Jewish people aren't poc if they aren't black/asian/dark-skinned/etc" comes from antisemitism or anti-zionism. A lot of poc in the west specifically say this because of antisemitism so a lot of the arguments for it are... not great to say the least.

In regard to Elisha specifically, she's ethnically Jewish so I think you could argue that it doesn't count as whitewashing, but that's really up to Jewish people to discuss. It's obviously still wrong for her to have been cast as Musa, that's not up for discussion, but whether she considers herself white, whether Jewish people consider her white, whether non-Jewish people (goyim?) consider her white and how much of that response is linked to internal antisemitism is all very personal and case by case. I'm not sure if there's a specific term for when people sort of... race or ethnicity change a character of color to a different but still not white race so like...?

But anyway, again there is no One specific answer because there's so much discussion and outright arguing over it. A lot of Jewish people do consider themselves to be poc and often West Asian/Middle Eastern (depending on who you ask) but there are a lot of arguments among themselves as well. This discussion really should be left up to them!

It's funny you mention this because I was actually discussing this with a Jewish mutual years ago! Here are some really interesting articles (written by Jewish people (as far as I'm aware)) that I found really helpful at the time: one, two, three, and four. There were others but I can't find them now :(

(There's also the matter of people converting to Judaism which is a similar but ultimately very different conversation so I do want to clarify that I'm specifically referring to ethnically Jewish people.)

there are a couple jobs around that seem like they’d be sort of ideal but. the thought of going back to work at all is mildly terrifying in that there are at least five different levels of anxiety to overcome + then the concept of being trapped into having to leave the house (which sounds like an oxymoron) every day is a real pickle

#it would not be something that happens immediately because he basically fucked up the last 3 times he hired somebody for this position #and it’s kind of a ‘3 strikes you’re out’ type of thing. aka he’s trying to be more cautious so we don’t lose ANOTHER one #and his main thing for me is that i don’t have any ‘official’ leadership experience #(he does not realize while i was cleaning i was also basically carrying FOS on my back) #so basically the first move will be to move me back to FOS as ‘team captain’ #which i believe we will all soon discover is basically what i was doing before except WITHOUT all the gunk & grime & spills to worry about #and then assuming that goes well we’ll make it official #and the perks would be. well i don’t know exactly what leads get paid but i think it would edge me into that ‘living wage’ category #more face to face interactions with the people that come in there which means more funny stories to tell online #ability to possibly move out of my shithole apartment and into a place with a real oven #looks better on a resume than what i’m doing now etc etc etc #and i’d be good at it and i wouldn’t ENTIRELY hate it #and the negatives would be i just don’t want to do this for the rest of my life #and i don’t really want to be working here at all #and i didn’t move all the way to los angeles just to work at target forever #and i want to be someone else or i’ll explode.
