I recently got back to reading fics after a LONG period of life just not letting me (almost a whole year of not being able to read fics, watch my fav series just cause i was so tiered hah🥲). Wanted to reread some of my favorite works, many of which were from you (lost & found in oblivion, that highschool neighbor Au and a few others.. forgot the Titels im sorry !!) and i saw that they were all in a hidden collection, and LUCKILY not deleted i think i might actually cry if you deleted any of your works..

I dont know why you did that but ofc i Respect your decision and if you want to keep it like that forever then do what you think is best !! I saw that it might have sth to do with you wanting your Bh fics to also get appreciation? And yes I'm not deleting them just hiding them for now. I won't make them available any time soon though I'm really sorry... I'm hiding them because I hope to be more known for my new fics and not for the old ones. I don't really want people to know me for my old fics you know... And I won't ever switch the names 😂 it doesn't work that way! I wrote those old fics because that was how I picture everything however I no longer see those characters in that light, that's why I can't really stand them... sorry my babies...

the heirarchy of good habits for feeding yourself when you have brainfuck doesnt need to be all at once at all and in fact is probably best not to do it that way

start by making sure youre getting enough calories at regular intervals to fuel your body

then move forward to making sure youre getting enough fruit n vegetables in whatever form you can

then you can start to worry about nitty gritty things like salt intake or cutting out some sugars or saturated fats or more protein or whatever you need to do for your health

its WAY more important to be getting all the right stuff first than be cutting things out with nowhere to go

#like personally i avoid palm oil as best as possible for health and environmental reasons (its awful for both) #but if im having a shitty day and need food quick ill eat something with palm in it yknow #carbs and sugars might not be amazing in huge amounts for the long run unless youre using lots of energy but theyre something yknow #food politics are such a mess in general so im not out here to be holier than thou #far from it in fact ... i 100% get it as someone who still has a stress eating problem at times and has been VERY POOR and still isnt secur #and then theres the anxiety depression and whatever else like i get it ... and my sibling has crohn's we work around too when they stay her #its a whole minefield that changes on your specific circumstances but be good to yourself first and then worry about the rest #rory's ramblings

hi :-) ohh these are fun...

my favorite story is probably My NovelTM which isn't finished yet, i've written a first draft and now it's just been languishing until i can find the motivation to start a second draft. i finished the first draft in august i think, and started editing it pretty heavily before i realized i was just going to have to rewrite the whole thing again. i'm mostly having trouble with the ending, which always seems to be my problem lmfao... anyways it follows the relationship of Angel and Valerie, after Valerie has been missing for a few months and suddenly returns as a vampire with no memory of Angel or what happened over the months while she was away. it alternates between both their povs in both present day and through flashbacks.

so unfortunately for your second question, no, but i do hope to publish Angel and Valerie's story one day, either traditionally through a small press (lol here's hoping) or by self-publishing it. otherwise my only published work is what's available on my itch.io (siren's call, one day hike, etc)

i am working on a short story for vampire jam, which i'll hopefully be sharing next month. it's still in the form of interactive fiction, published in twine, but it's more of a short story than anything like blood choke or tnp. i also have a butch cowboys and zombies story i've been working on for a while, but i'm not sure when i'll get around to finishing it since it's not a priority project.

i do want to write another novel as well, a very old story i've been kicking around for years, but as usual i haven't been able to come up with an ending for it... but maybe one day.

Saw a video and it got me in a mood so i'm making this post.

I don't think people who have never been fat knows how fucking hard it is to find clothing for bigger bodies.

The first issue is finding stuff in your actual size. Because time after time after time and time again I've gone to a store and they only had small and medium sizes. Not even large. And this was not for a few clothes, no. It was for MOST clothes that I found interesting. And then the ones that were marked as large were simply not big enough.

And I know that the reason for that is that brands simply won't make clothes for fat people. It's that because it surely isn't because the large size is selling out fast. They just don't do it. And some people have the nerve to say 'well brands are not obligated to make sizes for everyone' yeah sure, but also, I can't walk naked on the street can I?

Like I don't get it. 'oh but we want our clothes to fit a especific body' so fucking make clothes that are supposed to fit bigger bodies. Doesn't have a to be a whole ass collection.

And then we get on the second problem which is making clothes for plus size people that are ugly as hell. It's always the same stuff: ugly florals, animal print that belongs in another decade, cold shoulders, that weird extra fabric at the end of a shirt to hide the belly, or just black/muted colors.

Like fun fact. If you have big boobs, the hardest thing in the world is trying to find a bra that comes in a color that isn't white, black or beige. Because trust me, I've spent 3 hours walking in the shopping mall and I couldn't find anything that fit my breasts that was like pink (and in that situation I needed a pink bra for a play).

It feels like most clothes made for plus sized people are designed with like 50+ year old white women in mind, and not even that demographic of people are wearing those clothes (my mom is a plus sized 50+ year old white woman and often talks about how ugly some clothes made for people her size are).

It's hard trying to develop your own sense of style when none of the clothes around you are in your size, and when they do, they are just not good looking to you.

But you wanna know what's the down right worst part? Do you know what fucking brand has clothes that look good and are amde for bigger bodies?

The goddamn cancer on this earth that is Shein.

I fucking hate shein. Fast fashion is killin the fashion industry, they literally have people working as slaves and many influecers buy shein clothes by the bulk only to then throw it in the trash. Shein is awful.

But. Unfortunetly, shein is the only place that I found that had clothes that fit me and looked good. I don't like that. I avoided buying from shein for the longest time ever, but jesus christ, when you can't find clothes anywhere else you get desperate.

I tried looking for other places. I tried looking at my local clothing stores and everything was too small for me. I tried looking at online small bussinesses but they either didn't make my size, or it was sold out, or the prices were very high. Tried looking at thrift stores, also didn't find my size.

I try not to buy too much from shein or to spend long periods of time in between buying, because again, I feel bad about buying there. I don't want to buy from there.

Clothing brands/stores gotta do better. And I don't think that's asking for too much.
