AU where Peter is Tony's biological son and his real name is Thomas Stark. When Tony finds out about Spider-Man they have an ugly fight ending with "Peter" disowning himself and dropping off the map. He finds shelter with the Parkers and becomes Peter Parker
Tony tries to find him but Peter knows how to bypass their technology. For almost 20 years Tony thinks he will never find his son beyond pictures of him in costume
One day a social worker and the police show up at his house with three children. They tell Tony that his son died in a car accident along with his wife, and these children are his grandchildren, who will now be in his care
(During the last nearly 20 years Tony moved to a mansion upstate, retired as a superhero, and married. A few months before the police arrived Pepper also died)
The children are 11-year-old twins May and Ben and 5-year-old Annie. Heartbroken at the prospect of his son being dead, Tony tries to get away from these children who remind him so much of his son. Meanwhile, the children explore the Stark estate and its family, and May faithfully believes that her father is still alive and that the accident was a hoax created by someone greater, and clashes with her grandfather to get answers. And, the Ross-funded, post-Sokovia SHIELD tries to encourage and pressure Tony into giving up custody of the children
Tony reflects on his actions as a father and what he could have done better, bringing him closer to his grandchildren

rinas are gonna come at me again for this but idc. im honestly enjoying this seson less and less with each episode bc of what theyre doing to portwell. i just dont understand how rinas dont see that setting it up where it ricky is getting in the way of ej and his gf and just the ricky and gina storyline in general shouldve been done with and its complete fanservice to keep teasing rina. they spent pretty much the entirety of s2 building up to portwell and for the writers to be giving them the treatment they are is lazy and bad. and for this episode to have gina act the way she did seemed so out of character idk. it was also just annoying, with the way she was getting mad at ej in front of everyone else the entire day and wouldnt talk to him about it. the fact that ej had to ask r i c k y why his gf was mad bc he knew she was likely to confide in him. this was longer than i anticipated but idk man, when u break it down and really look at it, idk how people can ship smth that shouldnt even be a storyline at all.

Caesar House AU: Trouble
While Shrub was safely in the Caesar House, her cage was unoccupied.
Her captor looked at it for a while, to see if he couldn’t find anything that pointed towards sabotage rather than the shrub taking initiative. Everything seemed to be okay. Nothing had changed, nothing had tampered with the lock and he was the only one who interacted with her. Nobody else would come here for good reason.
She really did this all on her own, huh? Impressive.
Then it was time to go and meet with the others, who wanted to hear his explanation. He didn’t mind – the one thing he did mind was wearing this ridiculous robe with an equally ridiculously large hood. They were perfectly safe in the shadow realm, they needn’t fear being exposed or having a mole among them.
Anyway, this was the etiquette of the organization and the captor obliged.
The center of the world was magnificent. The greens and browns made way for reds and purples, growing out of the ground, strange plants and fungi that biologists would kill for to study. Only in the center of this world between worlds did these grow, and in the center of this area a deepslate circle in the ground; a hallow, ritual site. Dark red energy pulsated beneath the cracks in the deepslate, forming a pattern of its own; a large circle split in two by a thin line, with four other circles intersecting it at regular intervals. Within these four circles, the deepslate was set a little higher – four naturally-formed pedestals.
And outside of the Slate Circle, careful not to stand on it, stood the colleagues. The leader, the follower, and the newbie. None of them were happy to be called here for these specific circumstances.
They blamed him, of course. They said it was his mess, that he’d become complacent and didn’t check the lock as well as he used to. That was not true, and the captor told them as much. Quarreling about it wouldn’t matter, as their shrub was gone and nowhere to be found in the shadow realm. That could only mean she escaped through one of the doors into the modern world.
The leader asked him how much that girl knew. The captor gave her an honest answer. While the shrub knew more than any outsider or not-official member, she knew very little about the modern world. She hadn’t seen it in at least a decade, anyway. If she did find help, nobody would believe her. Because everything she would say would sound like it came right out of a movie or a TV show and the people she’d accuse were all upstanding people who wouldn’t hurt a fly.
The follower was concerned about the plans going forward. The leader assured them that nothing would change. Yes, they lost their shrub, but they had back-ups. If something went awry anyway, well, the House now had plenty of replacements to choose from.
The captor suggested to check out his lab and see if she was there, partially to get away from the meeting. He was allowed to go and did so. The single oak door in the middle of the forest no longer surprised him and he stepped through it as he would any other door, to arrive in only darkness. He grabbed the portable lamp placed on a table nearby and scanned through the lab.
There was no sign of Shrub anywhere. Nothing was touched or misplaced, no markings on the concrete walls without windows, no different footsteps on the equally concrete floor. No shrub hiding at the top of an inconsequential staircase. But that left two rooms, separate from the main working area, that the captor still needed to look at.
The first room held their primary back-up. The boy in the armchair was sound asleep, as he should be. The drip feed, connected to him via a catheter in the forearm, still slowly and steadily introduced more of the unnaturally crimson liquid in his bloodstream. Everything seemed to be okay.
The second room was where they kept the stock; from the corrupted crimson and purple plants in the shadow realm to the distilled corruption and a more refined corrupted liquid, stored in bottles. They did not seem to be tampered with. Again, everything seemed to be okay in here.
Good news – everything seemed to be in order at the lab. Bad news – no sign of Shrub. She did not come through this door to escape. Good news – she had no idea what was going on in this location before her escape, and she would not be able to try and reveal this secret to the world.
The captor nodded to himself and returned home.

very excited because I have been slowly & painstakingly counter conditioning Acorn to foot and nail handling with the eventual goal of being able to dremel his nails with minimal drama. I had just about given up on clipping his nails because he dislikes it so much already.
well, his nails had gotten intolerably long, so I decided I would try to clip a few of them tonight. thinking, I’m not ready to introduce the dremel yet, so I’ll use the clippers. fully expecting this to set back his counter conditioning, but it needs to be done, even if it means going back a few steps.
anyway, I send him to a station and start trimming, fully expecting to only get a couple nails done before I have to give up. surprise surprise! he is really patient and lets me do all of his nails! not the most thorough job but he let me do so much more than I thought he would.

@thedragonagelesbian replied to your post “So ya like BG3 Characters?”:
I love them all!! Cress in particular sounds super interesting-- circle of spores/gloomstalker is a great class combo, and the idea of them being raised by the myconid is super interesting!!! What's it been like for them to adjust to the surface?
They're adjusting at their own speed! A lot of new sensory experiences but they're approaching everything with a smile. The dedicated day/night cycle is catching them out the most, they wished they didn't have to sleep because both the stars and the sun rise are so pretty.
live Cress react every sunset and sunrise since being airdropped into the world vvv
as of interacting on the surface, though they're approaching everything with a smile it's a bit more difficult. Being somewhere between the druids of the grove and understanding the wants to protect your home and also being in support of the tieflings, not understanding why outsiders can't make a home here is a difficult thing to manage.
It's definitely strange to them that everyone sees the shared tadpole connection as a negative- they quite miss the ease of the similar hive connections, understanding how others felt because they could just feel it. It's been awfully quiet in their head but all the more cause for them to be unashamedly loud. This is causing their throat to hurt more, but its ok because yay yippee new friends to talk to!!
