Irondad fic ideas #155
Tony can be... a bit overbearing with his helicopter parent tendencies. To combat this, Peter sets up a small protocol with FRIDAY.
Any time Tony wants to do something paranoid or invasive, FRIDAY is to send him a helpful article first, with titles like "Excessive Surveillance Can Harm Adolescent Development, Study Finds" and "Why Teens Need Privacy From Their Parents"
Peter leaves the choice of articles up to FRIDAY, trusting her to send ones that fit the situation.
While this protocol does get Tony to reconsider some of his more... extreme impractical requests, in most cases it fails to change his mind. Being hands-off about Peter's safety is not something he can do -- not when he knows the kinds of dangers this particular kid could face.
He's grateful for the insight that the protocol has given him, though. So instead of removing it, he decides to add to it. He asks FRIDAY to make it a two-way street. Now, whenever Peter complains about one of Tony's safety protocols, FRIDAY will send an article to help him understand
However, Tony doesn't anticipate the kinds of articles FRIDAY will choose. While she continues to send Tony studies and editorials, to Peter she sends news reports from Tony's past
Peter's mad that Tony has put trackers in everything he owns? -- "Tony Stark Still Missing: Inside Month Three of the Harrowing Search"
Peter hates the constant health monitoring that FRIDAY does when he's in the tower? -- "Death Wish or Death Sentence? Stark Behavior Tied to Secret Illness that Almost Cost Him His Life"
It goes on and on. For every seemingly insane overreach, there's a story, an experience Tony is trying to protect Peter from.
They both still disagree about how much protection is too much, but at least they understand each other better now

imagine peter doesn’t know what to get mister stark as a gift from his Europe trip with his class. so he gets a ton of cheap little things.
Tony wearing 30 beaded bracelets, holding six mini figurines, wearing a shirt with misspelled words, crying.
“He got me trinkets! Look, Rhodes, the kid got me trinkets!”

Probaby crack Irondad Prompt:
Peter is somehow knocked down during a fight. While he's trying to catch his breath, someone removes his mask. Peter immediately panicks and webs up his own face to conceal his identity.
Bonus if the person who unmasks him is just Tony trying to check on him.

Grief Has No Timeline
https://archiveofourown.org/works/41626011
Peter doesn't come to his internship on time. When questioned, FRIDAY says he's in the building, but "emotionally compromised," and Tony goes to see if he can help. Conversations about grief, and what names mean, and a progression of Tony and Peter's growing closeness.
Part of the post-Homecoming series "Strands in the Rope," but stands alone, also.
Combination of two prompts from @idk-bruh-20's blog: #78 - How do you think Tony would react to Peter crying? (idea by @itsmechara426) and #87 - What if Peter forgot his parents' death anniversary? (except I switched it up a little) (idea by @honestlyfokusernames)

i'm sure little peter has dressed up as iron man several times, but i love thinking he has dressed up as tony stark himself. aunt may helps with the "goatee" (she draws one on peter's face, that is) and uncle ben buys him some cool glasses (tony's glasses are super expensive so ben buys cheaper ones and peter loves them)
current peter tries to hide these pictures the best he can bc he would die if tony ever found those

I HAVE A FIC IDEA vol#8
Tony once was locked out of his lab. ("Go to the meeting," Pepper'd said. "It's going to be an important one" She'd said.) And just when he's gotten an amazing idea. So, he does what any other person would; occupies one of the whiteboards.
What he doesn't expect is to find suggestions for innovative features and notes on his ideas. He writes his own feedback on those notes, and so it begins. Tony Stark has found himself a ridiculously smart, sometimes just so slightly annoying, pen pal.
"Seriously, who are you? I have an entire department that would desperately need your help" "Sorry, no-can-do.You would have a heart attack if you found out who is on the other side, man." "Funny, that's what I was going to say."
Guess whose brown mop of hair appeared on Tony's screen when he brings up the problem to F.R.I.D.A.Y.

Fic Hunt
I once again am searching for a fic I read ages ago and now cannot find. (I really gotta start remembering the Bookmark function on AO3)
It's an MCU fic centered around Peter Parker. I'm pretty sure its from an Outsider POV. It's also an AU based around the Sokovia Accords taking an Anti stance. It might've been multichap or Peter Parker & Avengers. I'm also like 90% certain it was on AO3.
Basic premise is Peter is with his Decathalon Team at a competition (possibly Finals?) when the building comes down and he ends up holding up the ceiling and protecting everyone. I don't think it's a Spiderman identity reveal. However one of the people he saves is like a member of the UN or a politician or something and there's a report on how she no longer supports the accords because Peter just wanted a 'normal life' and the accords would affect that and mutants like Peter 'who aren't superheroes/vigilantes'.
I know it's definitely not 5 Times Someone at Midtown Realized Peter was Stronger Than He Seems by Nexas_Hart but that did scratch the itch or I might have gotten them conflated.
But the one I'm looking for definitely has the report about no longer supporting the Accords due to Peter's actions. That is the most vivid part for me.
Please help. It's been driving me bananas and I have scoured the Peter Parker tag so much.

Has anyone made a god au for the mcu?
Like, the gods are amongst us mortals, and they’ve got like followers/worshipers and stuff, and they can like access the information of their followers because they’re gods duh
I should probably specify that I’m talking about an irondad fic. I want this as an irondad fic
The great Tony Stark, god of technology, inventor and innovator, creator of things to further humanity along, with as many followers as people have phones, tvs, radios, and cars. His followers buy exclusively his tech, and the richer ones donate money to speed up his research
Hawkeye, god of archery, whose majority of followers come and go with time, but a select few stick around, devoting their life to the art of the bow & arrow
Vision, god of the internet (whose father is the god of technology, obviously), who gains power every moment someone uses the internet, and IS the robot tracking your info to give you some Useful ads, whose followers meme in his name
Bruce Banner, the god of sciences (he has SEVEN PHDS MAN), who learns all he can and shares it all with the scientific community, whose other form, Hulk, may or may not be a god in and of himself, whose followers all devote their lives to research, some on his second form specifically
Of course there’s Thor, god of thunder, and Loki, god of mischief…
But then there’s just. Peter Parker, god of spiders.
Of course, not very many people like spiders, and those who do probably don’t like them enough to devote any time to the god of them… unless they’re trying to form some weird cult or something. And there’s probably a major population of people that aren’t even aware that ‘god of spiders’ is even a thing? Like there’s probably a Wikipedia page or something that lists every god, but I doubt anyone would pay too much attention to a god of spiders.
Like maybe some people do worship him but it’s probably really weird and he’d be like ‘umm I appreciate that you’re following me, but I would prefer that you don’t sacrifice anyone to me?? Because one that’s illegal and I enjoy following laws and two,,, it kinda makes me uncomfortable so please stop’
So just imagine like. Pete having a rough day getting bullied by Flash about being the god of such a ‘creepy’ thing, when suddenly, a shout from an alleyway! He hurries to investigate and someone’s getting mugged! He webs up the threat and the person he saved is just like ‘thank you!! Who are you?’ and he just panics and says ‘uhhhh I’m spider-man’ and the rest is history :)
But then people start getting interested in Spider-Man so they google ‘is there a spider god’ and then they go harass Peter like ‘hey you’re the god of spiders, so who’s spider-man? You had to have blessed him right’ and like what does he say to that???
And imagine Tony seeing this and being like ‘hey I actually wanted to know who spider-man was too but maybe don’t harass a minor?? Like yeah he’s a god but he’s also a child’ and. Omg I need to ✨stop✨ before I ✨break✨

Post No way home fic where Peter has had enough of everything the universe thrown at him and wishes to forget it all. No one from the Tony Stark Protection Squad had told Peter that Tony was still alive but vulnerable which is why it's kept as a secret. When Tony wakes up, he goes and looks for his kid. Imagine Peter's confusion when THE Tony Stark, Iron Man, comes up to him and hugs him, calling him underoos and asking him where he's been and why isn't he with Pepper and Morgan when Tony woke up.

Little Spider on the Road
by Disgracedstar
Peter Parker was done. He sadly lost his virginity to a boy he doesn't know at all. At Flash's fucking party.
Eso es lo menos importante en estos momentos, aunque por supuesto se lamentó durante días de haber perdido la virginidad.
The problem is that he is expecting a child in his womb, one who is 5 weeks old. Being a man, that shouldn't be possible!
Which is totally illogical, because his pregnancy is already showing with a small lump.
How is he going to explain this to Tony, his parental figure?!
Damn his Parker Luck. Damn his spider mutation.
Peter begins to hide his pregnancy, using every excuse he can. Tony begins to suspect Peter's very large belly as the weeks go by and also his behavior, since Peter is bringing out his spider instincts, in addition to showing symptoms of pregnancy.
Peter is alarmed, his belly is not supposed to be this bulging when he is just 10 weeks pregnant.
So, when Peter's secret is revealed, Tony immediately takes him to Bruce, who strangely tells Peter that he is about 6 months pregnant.
I wanted to write a fanfic about this, but I know it takes me a year to finish the first few chapters of anything- So, short story. Maybe I'll write it anyway

Irondad fic ideas #130
You know that trope where SI employees call Peter "Stark Jr."?
Fic where Tony learns about this and loves it. One night, at one of their weekly Ironfam dinners, he gleefully brags about it in front of May
In retaliation, May says to Tony, "Okay, Parker Sr."
No angst miscommunications, just hilarity. Everyone knows this is about the honor of being included in each other's families

Been thinking about my Fostering Hope series. (Selectively mute, foster kid Peter AU)
I have a 3 chapter follow-up ready and a sickfic lined up for sicktember... but my brain is already trying to decide, 'what next???'
The problem is... after all this though... I've still got nothing.
So, like... any suggestions would be so cool. I could put them into an idea pool fic and have things to think about! 😬😅🤣

Hiii!!! I wish you would write a fic where Peter discusses his parents with Tony.
Have a nice day!
,,,,i think i know who this is akdjs
Peter bounded up to the car and slid into the back seat, giddy with excitement. Ned had just told him that he had enough money to pay for half of the price of the AT-AT LEGO set, and if Peter paid the other half , they could order it tomorrow during lunch!
“Hey, Hap-“ he began, looking at the drivers seat. But instead of Happy’s surly frown, he was met with a pair of twinkling eyes behind familiar glasses.
“‘Sup kid.” said Tony Stark.
“Oh, hi Mr. Stark!” Peter had moved in with him a couple months ago, when May had moved for her job. He missed her, of course, but they called every other day and she really was happier there. “What are you doing here?”
“Don’t tell me you forgot?” Tony said, shifting out of park and pulling onto the street. “We’re going to look at apartments, so that you can be closer to school.”
Peter couldn’t believe he’d forgotten. “Oh right! Did you find one?”
“Sure did. It’s pretty nice, and still in Queens, so you won’t have to swing across half of Manhattan to get to your Spidey patrol route.”
Peter grinned. It was true, the Tower was a bit far from Queens, and people had begun to notice Spider-Man deviating from his old patrol circuit.
Tony parked at the side of the road, sliding smoothly out of the car. Peter followed, and the pair of them walked into the apartment building.
Something about the hallway and the elevator seemed familiar to Peter. Déjà vu? Maybe, but as he furrowed his brow and looked around, it really felt like he had been there before.
“Something wrong?” Tony asked, pressing the button for the top floor, his eyes trained on Peter.
“I don’t…know.” admitted Peter. “It feels familiar, somehow?” If he could trust anyone with that, it was Tony.
The elevator dinged and they proceeded to apartment 5. Tony brought out a jingling set of keys from his pocket and unlocked the door, saying as he did, “Maybe this is a classmate’s old apartment building?”
They stepped inside, and Peter knew he was wrong.
“Kid?!?” Tony shouted in alarm as Peter crumpled to the floor.
It took a second, but Peter was light, and Tony carried him to the couch and settled him on the clean gray sofa.
Peter shifted and began to stir.
“Hey, Sleeping Beauty,” Tony whispered, nudging him. “You gotta get up.”
“Mr. Str’k?” Peter mumbled groggily. “What happened?”
“You conked out on me, kiddo. You’re not hiding another stab wound, are you?”
Peter sat up, and remembered where he was. His eyes began to prickle.
“I used to live here,” he whispered.
Tony wrapped an arm around Peter’s shoulders. “With May and Ben?”
“No. With…with my parents.”
Peter felt a small jolt go through Tony’s body. Peter knew why he was shocked. He never talked about his parents.
“I don’t remember much about them,” Peter admitted. Just saying it hurt him. He had only been a little kid when they had died. “They died in a plane crash when I was six. But just being here, with you…it makes me feel like I’m trying to replace them.”
Tony rested his chin on top of Peter’s head. “I would never try to replace your parents. But, Pete, you deserve to be loved. I’m sure your parents would agree.”
Peter nodded, leaning into Tony’s chest.
“Now, kiddo, I think maybe this isn’t the right apartment for us. We’ll find something else.”
“Okay.”

"Don't ever apologize for being the smartest one in the room."
I was watch FFH again trying to get some Peter-at-16-energy and even though I hate Quentin Beck with the fire of a thousand suns, I love this scene. I'm just going to pretend that Tony said it instead, and that it was sincere.
