Hey Normal Guys who follow me and arent into warriors. dont look at the warrior cats fandom on here's latest opinions about alderheart and tigerheartstar and also the new arc in general. Like half of them are still misogynists and the other half are currently drinking terf koolaid. Do not look @ their opinions just look atthe cool art and stay oblivious 👍

Just finsihed lost stars so b4 I forget everything that happens I'm going to write down what I thought and shit for future reference b4 I get swayed by the fandom
Pov characters :0
Shadowpaw: he is so fucking sad in this book what. He's the equivalent of like a 16-year-old jn this (I think) 8/10 enjoyable :]
Bristlepaw(frost): hollyleaf 2, the sequel but with less parental issues! Love ivypool!!! Also she's the obligatory thunderclan pov soo. 6/10 she hasn't grown on me yet
Rootpaw: shut the fuck up please no one cares about how much you hate your father. Kinda annoying idk, he'll probably get better as he grows, bristleroot is cute i guess idk 4/10
STORY
Idk what's happening with the bad leaf-bare since it's easing up at the end, at first I thought it was going to be like an eternal winter until they fix the moonpool but I guess not
BF: I have no idea who stemleaf is, I don't care for him Bristle deserves better (better is NOT Rootpaw istg he's the same bright ass yellow as Tree) she's cool, very similar to Holly as I said.
RP: not much to say as his pov was my least favorite, I only remember the scenes with tree in them cause I remember Rootpaw being pissed that his dad wasn't a standard warrior lmao.
[Brambleghost was cool, rootpaw was too much of a scared kit to do anything lol] Idk if this is in Lost Stars or not, currently reading a Silent Thaw.
SP: what the fuck was going on here 😦😦 like srsly, he got a ton of bad visions (probably from the DF tbh) then killed bramblestar indirectly :0
The man of the hour: Bramblestar!!!!
I don't get the hate behind him tbh, he's so sad in this arc like his 'death' HURT I almost cried cause he's a father!!!! Imagine if My dad died to an illness in the snow ☹️☹️☹️☹️ I love my dad sm
Hot take: I don't like squirrelflight, but her in this book !!!!!!!!!&#&#&@&& she's also so so sad aaaaaa my heart can't take this :((((
Idk who's possessing him at, I thought it was hawkfrost at one point cause of all the fanart of imposter bramble with blue eyes but then I remembered he died in the great battle so idk. Don't spoil in the comments please !
OVERALL
9/10 book!! Rootpaw brought it down one single handedly I hate that child so fucking much

Screaming crying throwing up at the Thunder spoiler thread because
-
-THUNDER SPOILERS-
-
Frostpaw coming to the realization that the Park Cats have a culture that she likes better than the culture of the clans, and wanting to bring elements of it back home with her? That COULD be an actually good use of a traveling book, and it WOULD be an actually nice change to see the clans do any kind of self-reflection on the violence of their culture. Unfortunately, I don’t trust the Erins even a little bit to follow through in any kind of satisfactory way on that plot thread, so I worry it’s going to result in the Clans once again looking at an outside culture and taking a very xenophobic lesson away from interacting with it.
I'm still trying to work out my feelings on the return of the Park Cats... overall, I think I'm feeling pretty frustrated, and it's coloring my perception of them
I also really disliked Riverstar's Home, though. I hated the traveling, I didn't find the Park very interesting in practice, was annoyed by a ton of small things. It felt like the book only got good once we were back in the forest, so, maybe I'm still tasting my sour introduction to the Park cats.
I also don't have any faith in the authors to handle Waffle and Wasp well, or any of the practices Frostpaw is planning to bring home. At this point I'm expecting it. What's really on my mind is... why?
Why did they create a whole little unchanging cultural bubble, a group under glass, exactly the same as it was during the dawn of the clans... when they were just going to blast Frostpaw with The Avatar State anyway?
She can talk to Riverstar whenever. And every ancestor who served under him. And you don't even have to waste 6 chapters on travelling. Could we not have learned about meditation from Riverstar, if the Erins are soooo eager to shove the ancestors into this and write him as her spirit guide?
Like, all this time dedicated to a culture whose one trait is meditating. I have frustrations with the Sisters and Tribe, but they're interesting concepts, with their own spiritual beliefs, government, and customs. So far, the neo-Park has been bland.
Like Guardians, a bare-bones group that showed up once in an SE and just existed to serve the Clan cats for a while, and send Tigerheart back with new characters.
But like, back to the Lesson of the Park Cats, whatever thing Frostpaw could bring home
I just... man, I go off about Clan Culture and its violence literally all the time, but this arc has been ridiculously peaceful. We are 4/6ths of the way through and there was one major battle, at the end of a book, which was bloodless. All the fighting has been arguments.
What exactly is Frostpaw going to learn from the Park cats? How to be passive? Is that going to help RiverClan get rid of the occupying army? Will the power of mindfulness help them un-forget all of their battle training and remind them how to do their own laundry?
If (if.) The Erins have planned all this out, then what they're going to do next is have Frostpaw take what she's learned, and use it to help un-divide RiverClan.
Which TO BE CLEAR would be good for Frostpaw as a character!
But that's not addressing the violence of clan culture or even leaning into it. That wouldn't really be a cultural change, so much as Frostpaw having learned leadership skills... which, again, makes me wonder what the point of a culture frozen in time really was, when they blasted her with this super strong, unprecedented magic connection to StarClan.
Idk. Just, generally not vibing with this book if the spoiler thread is to be believed.

It irks me when ppl act like the only reason someone would dislike tigerdove is cause they're just following Ivypool's opinion.
Ivypool has a problem with them due to her personal issues, i have my own reasons.
Tiger got with dove as an apprentice. He was a kit when the 3 were apprentices, so it's a pretty big gap. He was manipulative through their whole relationship in oots, which just feels especially gross given him being an adult.
I'm still frustrated they got back together. Dovewing leaving thunderclan would be fun, if it wasn't for with that jackass. He's consistently done shitty things as leader, and we never really get any of Dovewing's opinion on any of that, she's just there to be his supportive wife
Kicking out Skyclan after he gave them land, attacking peaceful nomads who weren't on his territory and were leaving in a few months (EVEN CAUSED SOME OF THEIR DEATHS WITH HIS ATTACKS), his whole bullshit with Riverclan. (do not hit me with Riverclan attacked first. Shadowclan broke into their house and Tiger ended up holding Duskfur down and threatened to fucking kill her!) Dovewing is just shoved to the side.
Ivypool was uncalled for in Thunder for trying to ask Dovewing about it, and it's nice she got to call Ivy out, but damn i would love for her to actually have an opinion beyond just going along with Tigerheart's shit!!
It's a shame cause i like their kids, but i hate that we had to have TigerDove to get em. Truly it's like were not reading the same books. Like how did anyone take away from that "Tiger is just a silly wifeguy and Dovewing is soo liberated in shadowclan!"
Gah, it's just so damn frustrating

i dont really like or care for warriors much anymore, but a lot of this recent discussion surrounding ivypool is making me want to heal my inner child because she was my favorite character. i think people need to step off of ivypool, they hate traumatized women and it shows! "oh ivypool was too mean to her sister" is a valid criticism, because she definitely was, but to claim that she hates dovewing is absolutely insane. she had been forced to witness the horrors during her developmental years and was repeatedly manipulated into believing that dovepaw and everyone else in the clan thought she was inferior to her sister. hawkfrost PURPOSELY helped her build an emotional barrier between herself and the people she cared about so that he could manipulate her further. ivypool definitely loves dovewing, but that trauma doesnt just disappear when you become an adult. its clear that she has a fear of abandonment and is incapable of expressing her emotions, since thats what she was taught from the moment she was a kid! she has every reason to hate tigerheart considering that he joined her in the dark forest and repeatedly mistreated (and groomed, he was a full grown warrior going after a newly made apprentice) dovewing in oots. she has every reason to feel upset and abandoned when dovewing straight up leaves. not because she hates her mind you but because she finds it to be a sense of betrayal, something you WOULDNT feel if you hated someone. i'm pretty sure that fear of abandonment even manifested when she went off to meet tigerheart, as you can read her inner dialogue in oots, and she expressed feeling betrayed and hurt from her sister, because guess what? She loved her but quite literally didnt know how to express it properly! now for the record this isnt me excusing her actions, she did treat dovewing awfully and didnt provide her the support she needed during her pregnancy, and thats not something you can overlook. however to lie and just straight up pretend ivypool's backstory doesnt still impact her today is just mind boggling to me. sometimes symptoms of trauma dont manifest themselves in the best ways and thats something a lot of people here are failing to comprehend.

Can you tell us more about bristlefrost in your AU I think she still die but does she fade forever because I really hate the fading in warriors it just a dumb concept to me.
Tumblr media
Yes of course! She does still die, but I agree - I too hate that ghosts can die. Not even Tigerstar's ghost is dead after The Great Battle in this AU. The dead live forever, and that goes for the dead Bristlefrost. Still, she does have a different fate beyond going to StarClan.
Bristlefrost is killed when she and Rootspring assist Tigerheart in attempting to save Shadowsight from Flametail's spirit. She is heavily injured along the way, protecting Rootspring from a group of ShadowClan cats still following Shadowsight's teachings. She ends up dying due to her injuries, but finds herself not in StarClan, but in a world she had thought only to exist in her dreams. When the Moonpool froze over after Sparkfire's attack on Hollystar and Willowshine (part of AVoS arc), many took the freezing of the pool to be a good sign as it's the opposite of fire. Rather than the pool staying this way though, a soon to be warrior Bristlepaw falls in when she catches a wandering Rootpaw in ThunderClan territory. She follows him to the Moonpool, where the ice cracks beneath their paws. Bristlepaw manages to push Rootpaw away as the ice shatters and she falls into the water.
An icy shock cascades through her body, but surprisingly she can still move. Swimming back to the surface, the ThunderClan she-cat pulls herself back out, coughing as Rootpaw thanks her for sparing him and asks if she is ok. This is how their friendship begins in my rewrite of TBC. Bristlefrost is also named due to her experience on the pool and the icy waters.
But back to the main point - ever since that day, Bristlefrost would have dreams of a large cat with a split face, one side black and the other orange. She eventually confides in Jayfeather as he's the medicine cat, and he seems shocked. Bristlefrost would later come to learn this cat is Chi - the overseer above StarClan and the one who guided Jayfeather back in the Po3 and OoTS arcs.
Bristlefrost finds herself face to face with the cat she had seen almost every night up until now, but this time it was not a dream. Were all those dreams even actually... dreams? Rather than joining StarClan, Bristlefrost feels a connection to Chi ever since that day at the Moonpool, and chooses to ascend to stand alongside Chi just as the fabled Silverpelt once did. It is with Bristlefrost's ascension and gift that Dark Forest cats and StarClan cats can have their judgement recast, meaning upon repenting one can find peace in StarClan, or see themselves fall from within StarClan's cozy walls.
Bristlefrost is the sole Light in the Mist - a title not for cat of the living, but solely her, as a figure whose names will withstand the tests of time just like her now sister in light, Silverpelt.
TLDR; Bristlefrost dies and goes beyond StarClan and becomes a powerful being akin to a demigod, sacrificing her relationship with her living kin, but bettering the world as a whole

who would u say are badger doves supporters? ur badger au is so fun
Within Thunderclan, her supporters are WhiteWing, BirchFall, CloudTail, BrightHeart, FireStar, HollyLeaf, BriarLight, and Purdy. I could possibly be missing a character or two that wasn't intentional. IvyPool supported DoveWing at one point, but that was when they were kids, it's pretty strained nowadays though Everybody else either has neutral feelings on her or hate/fear her Outside of Thunderclan though, my immediate thought on who her biggest supporter is, is TigerHeart for very obvious reasons. Also thanks man, I'm glad you like the au!

my good friend shadowsight
shadowsight babygirl
sexuality headcanon bi but male preference!
gender/pronouns headcanon cis
rate them out of ten 9/10 very good boy
favorite thing about them i love when characters are cursed or fucked up! very good.
least favorite thing about them how apparently he "never" had a connection with starclan. that sucks and i hate it. also it doesnt make sense.
why i first started liking/disliking them instantly tbh. also his name is SOOO cool
do i relate/project onto/kin them? no
favorite quote/moment can't believe he let ashfur go after they had him captured in shadowclan lol
my fav ship ive only seen him shipped with rootspring and that one is fine. not really my thing but whatever. he should date sunbeam because their names would match
my fav platonic friendship his friendship with root should be expanded on especially in the wake of ashfur and /bristlefrosts death
a ship i hate IDK
do i prefer canon or fanon? fanon
random headcanon listen. we all know it should have been him who died to kill ashfur in the end. it would have been so satisfying and good for the narrative. like. his clan and his life and his job were so uprooted by ashfur's influence, he was almost killed by him (i hc he has lasting damage to his leg for improperly healing while being stuck in a ditch for half a week) he's already so haggard at like 1 year old. he should have been the one to kill ashfur.
what color do i picture them as dark gray with black spiral tabby markings. i'm also team red-eyed shadowsight.
cat breed headcanon his ears are slightly curled like dovewings but not really noticeable unless hes next to a normal-earred cat
unpopular opinion he got WAY too woobified. he was never a mewling baby boy. like, he was almost a full med cat when the books started. also he's BIG. he's tigerheart sized but people love to make him itty bitty.
things i associate with them
song i associate with them
favorite MAP/PMV/AMV with them CAN I SAY MY OWN. i still really love this one
youtube
this one though. ough. so Good

If you're really curious to see how it ties into TBC, you could probably just skim Squilf's SE and mostly read any time the sisters show up and the chapters where she's in starclan, I think. But if you want the full context reading in short burts might make it less frustrating than all in one go. Depending on how you plan to rewrite BrambleSquirrel you might also want to see their interactions- but be warned seeing the moment people did (and still do) baby Bramblestar over where he's attempting to intimidate Leafpool out of helping an injured Sister before going 'why are you doing this to me :((((((((((((((((' be portrayed as symapthetic can REALLY make it more frustrating. Actually? Just assume all Bramblestar moments people painted him sympathetic for are on the same tier as Gray Wing moments lmao
yeah, you got a point about reading in short bursts. im sure i would have hated tigerheart's shadow a lot more if i read 2/3s of it in a day like I did with darkest night.
i'll be honest, i don't think i'll read the bramblesquirrel parts. ive already read a lot of their content and i don't think i need to read more, i already know he sucks here and he's one of those characters that makes me uncomfortable the more i think about him. now that i know for sure that i'm not even adapting this or the entirety of tbc anymore, i doubt i'll have much use for this stuff anyways, especially since bramblestar and squirrelflight don't get back together in my au (bramble becomes leader earlier and i'm thinkinggg he will be pulling a pinestar after oots like that one scrapped plotline. in a "run away from your problems" way.)

A young cat from another clan arrives in Thunderclan and/or a thunderclan mentor twists their paw and can’t mentor.
Brackenfur: “my time has come”
Firestar/Bramblestar: “I didn’t ask you anything yet”
Brackenfur: “hmm i know...”
Firestar/Bramblestar *sighs*: “can you be their temporary mentor?”
bonus for those who don’t get it:
Tumblr media
the guy trained four apprentices. plus one unofficially. plus two temporarily. He trained Whitewing then her daughter Icecloud. He trained Tawnypelt then her son Tigerheart. He trained Hollyleaf then her niece (and his granddaughter) SOrrelstripe. He trained at least one person every arc (Tawnypelt in the first, Wintewing in the second, Hollyleaf then Tigerpaw/heart then Icecloud in the third, Sorrelstripe between the fourth and sixth...) he might not be the guy with the most apprentices ever but if you count the temporary ones he is!
“Rosepetal and Tawnypelt each mentored five apprentices!” “they are tied for the most apprentices trained in the whole forest!”
shut up Brackenfur here has trained more than them and better (no hate but Tawnypelt trained Needletail)

I have a question?
For the Au do you have anything for Dovewing and Ivypool?
Honestly, I hate how Ivypool suddenly got with Fernsong out of nowhere and Dovewing got with Tigerheart/star.
Im not sure yet! I do kinda like the idea of Ivy and Fern IF they were actually built up, bec from my understanding (I havent read books with these guys in them) Fern actually breaks some gender norms, and the like NEVER happens in the books lmao. Ive actually seen some headcanons where Fern is Trans feme too which I think is really cute!!!
I would have to find a way for Fern to not be related to Ivy tho lol.
Ivy and Dove will be River Order cats so their mates could definitely change, though i think by the time their books come around relationships between cats from other Orders will longer be outlawed. I dont really LOVE Dove x Tigerheart but i do like thirs kid Shadowsight soooo idk what to do about that!
I prob wont figure this out soon, because I have yet to read past Po3, tho I want to read the 4th arc next after rereading Po3!
