USA Network, circa 2009: yes this is a straight man and another straight man. Admittedly they are played by a gay man and a cuddly theater nerd who can't keep their hands off each other and have incredible chemistry, but we promise the characters are definitely straight. Anyway, have these very straight official promo images. Why yes there is actual kissing, why do you ask?

The fact that Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay, and Matt Bomer and Jonathan Bailey are about equally cuddly with each other is so special to me.
Tim is a married, at least functionally straight, buff man who plays cops and senators. They did not film sex scenes together. But that didn't stop him and Matt from being basically glued to each other; happily, publicly, showing blatant love for each other.
That is some wholesome masculinity right there. And like, compatible sexualities, or being sexual together, not being requirements for intimacy and love.
