i think its a fairly common trope in tf2 fic for scout to avoid smoking and sometimes alcohol as well bc he's the one member of the team who really needs to not have shitty lungs, but im afraid im a terrible 'scout tf2 smokes like hell' truther. based entirely on the fact bc he had a lighter on him in expiration date. he probably started when he was like 12 bc all his brothers did, then carried on bc he thought it looked cool and now does it to help w nerves. easily chainsmokes worse than spy on bad days. i mean it was the 60s and he has an addictive personality and unmedicated adhd. Man probly collects bad habits like tom jones memorabilia

the tf2 comic will probably never be finished but there's an obvious joke the writer's have set up with tom jones and scout's memorabilia. after the events, because tom jones is dead, scout's merchandise will spike and price and be worth A Lot. spy would be joyful or whatever similar emotion he's capable of expressing and tells scout to sell them so they could be rich. scout doesn't want to sell them, because it's the only thing that reminds him of his dead "dad" and he'll be keeping it forever. queue spy's "are you shitting me" face.

it's an obvious joke but unless a tf2 comic 7 "leak" contains this, i'm not gonna believe it's true.

Do you have a favorite piece of Cats memorabilia?

Oh Anon, what a question to ask. I briefly mentioned some of my favourite pieces last year, which is probably the best place to start. I, to no one's suprise, accumulated more great things since then that I will eventually show.

I figure I should expand on the items shown in that post as well, so see below for something I absolutely love!

This is a Japanese promotional programme for the 2019 movie, and unlike the English promotional booklet, contains all manner of information on the movie, creative team, cast, and musical. It really is a great piece.

What makes this piece so special (if it was not obvious by the front cover), is that it was signed by a large group of the named cast from the movie.

Signatures include:

I am still looking out for more signed and promotional pieces from the 2019 movie, but in the meantime I aim to get each one of the named cast's signature in some form on a CATS piece, and this covers most of them.

You were new under The Administrator’s authority. Training with Miss Paulding wasn’t fully what you expected it and the stress got to you with each little mistake you committed, but she assured you that you were doing fine. You took a lot of stress off her shoulders by being with her. Your next job was taking inventory at the R.E.D. base. 

Scout was outside, practicing homerun swings, when he saw you approaching the base. His bat flew from his hands midswing and he rubbed his eyes to ensure he was seeing things correctly. He watched you enter the base with his jaw hung open before quickly following to introduce himself. Once he caught up to you, he turned around and walked backward as he smirked at you.

“Hey, there, sweet cheeks. What’s a cutie like you doing all the way out here?”

You held your clipboard closer to your chest and avoided eye contact with him. “Just.. Inventory checks…”

Scout perked up, smiling widely. “I can help ya with that! What’s first on the list?”

And he would have kept going, if he hadn’t run into Spy from walking backwards. The two fought with each other and you found it the best time to disappear further into the base.

First impressions?

He thinks you might be one of the most beautiful people he’s ever met. There’s something otherworldly about you and he’s willing to be abducted if you were supernatural! He wants to know you more, and hopefully date, but taking things slow and gentle weren’t his forte.

General Dynamic: 

Scout fully embodies this tiktok with you.

He tries his damnedest to catch your attention, but you disappear before he’s able to make a move on you.

He’s finally forced to slow down with you after reluctantly getting advice from Spy.

His first step to getting to know you is when he noticed you crouched by a windowsill. Stepping closer, he found that you were crouched because there was a bird perched on the window.

He started with how you were with animals, and you shyly talked about some of your favorites with him. 

Eventually, you became comfortable enough to make some eye contact with him and he took that as a win!

It’s not often that you come around, but when you do, you offer him a new plant or any small item of your interests. He keeps all of your gifts safe right next to his Tom Jones memorabilia.

He still hopes to date you, but for now, he can take things slow with you.

As we know from the comics, he and his ma’s wealth is in Tom Jones memorabilia.

I would assume that along with baseball he has a few framed Tom Jones posters in his room.

Spy has probably gotten him Tom Jones stuff for his birthday (each year getting him something better than the last)

Scouts favorite gift was probably a signed, limited edition poster addressed to him by the man himself

(Spy probably threatened Time Jones to do it, or payed him a very large sum of money)

Y'know i think what upsets me most about never getting a part 7 is Engie. He is so detached from the rest of the gang/story the entire time leading up to it. So it really seemed like in part 7 where the administrator settles her old debt would have been where the plotlines converge which also would have meant seeing Engie reunite and interact with the rest of his team. We were ROBBED.

Been re-reading tf2 comics (AgAiN! LIKE ONE DOES!) And I just cant stop laughing about how Scout thinks Tom Jones is his dad, but has no clue that Tom Jones was murdered by Soldier... WHICH MOST LIKELY MADE PRICE OF THOSE TWELVE CUBIC YARDS OF TOM JONES MEMORABILIA THAT SCOUT HAS SKYROCKET BUT HE DOESNT KNOW. Which also makes Spy wrong on the prediction that Tom Jones will live for long long time... 

The comic hasnt updated in YEARS and most likely wont update any time soon either.. But I just really want to see the ongoing joke of Tom Jones shenanigans culminate into something like: 

- Scout boasts to the team that he finally realized who is his dad. 

- They are like wooo hooo you finally put it together!

- Scout is like YEAH IT WAS TOM JONES ALL ALONG HOW COOL IS THAT?! 

- Everyone glances at Spy and back to Scout. ????? 

- Spy looks like hes going to disappear while Sniper stares at him like  ಠ_ಠ go on tell him. 

 -Soldier who was zoned out and hasnt heard that Scout thinks Tom Jones is his dad, suddenly realizes there is a discussion about something he was involved in and VERY EXCITEDLY SHARES THE FACT THAT HE NECKSNAPPED TOM JONES BECAUSE IT WAS HIS RIGHT AS AN EX-ROOMMATE!

- Scout has a break down.

TF2 Future Spy- Jeremy (Age 47)

Alright time to time to talk about one that started all of this. Jeremy is one the two remaining original members of the team fortress 2 team that join the Team fortress future team. The only difference is that instead of being the scout. He’s the spy.

He changed professions for various reasons, one of them was his inability to run at incredible fast speeds like he use to and without that speed advantage. Being the scout just wasn’t much of an option anymore.

Jeremy is married to Yana , fairly well off (Thanks to selling his Tom Jones memorabilia), has six daughter, and one son (who’s the TF2 future Scout). When Jeremy works, he is incredibly professional and he does things in a clean and dignified manner. Than after he’s done killing his targets. he absolutely laughs at their dead bodies and insults them.

Jeremy relationship with Spy is fickle to say the least, yes Jeremy resents spy for basically not being in his childhood but he respects the man for training him and he doesn’t want to rob his children of their own grandpa. There’s a whole story on how spy training Jeremy was an absolute nightmare for the both of them.

(Fun fact- He named all his kids after the 1970s Red Sox team, EVEN THE GIRLS)
